[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] An evacuation order has been issued after a pipeline in a Texas city burst into flames.
The fire started just before 10am in La Porte, which is located around 25 miles southwest of Houston.
The company that owns the pipe, Energy Transfer, has since confirmed it is a natural gas line which they have now isolated so it can burn itself out.
According to the company they had been made aware that an unknown vehicle had struck a valve at the pipe, which they believe may have caused the fire.
Dramatic images captured at the scene show an extremely large jet of fire burning high in the sky, blanketing the area in thick black smoke.
Other images captured at the scene show the damage caused to the nearby area, with one picture showing a burnt out car.
The company said in a statement: 'We experienced an incident this morning in La Porte, Texas, at a valve station along Spencer Highway for a 20" natural gas liquids line that resulted in a fire.
'There are no reports of injuries at this time. The LaPorte Fire Department is on the scene and has evacuated all homes and businesses within a half mile of the incident site.
'The line has been isolated so that the residual product in the line can safely burn itself out.
'We have no timeline at this point on how long that process will take, but we are working closely with local authorities.
'We are aware of early reports indicating that an unknown passenger car entered our right-of-way and struck the value location.
'Air monitoring equipment is in the process of being set up in the area. We will continue to release details as they become available.'
Due to the fire, nearby Spencer Highway has been closed in both directions and neighboring roads have blocked off to traffic.
Evacuations have also been ordered for the Brookglen neighborhood area, with San Jacinto College issuing a shelter-in-place order.
In a post to social media, the college said: 'SJC Central remains under shelter in place. No fire on campus.
'Emergency responders are on site. A shelter in place will remain for the San Jacinto College Central Campus until all clear is provided.'
Izzat liquefied natural gas (LPG) or just gaseous natural gas?

A liquids line that carried a mix of natural gasoline, propane, butane, hexane, and everything in between.
It's common for crude refiners to 'batch group' their products in separation, rather than go for exact products. They then send the batches on to secondary fraction distillers who take the mix down as far in final purity as wanted.
(This concept in refining was actually created by John D Rockefeller, ie there's always something else in the mix, 'safety kerosene'.)
As to the event, witnessess said an SUV with and 'elderly looking' individual was driving erratically in the Wal Mart parking lot, went through the bushes, down the hill, through the fence, and kaboom. (Just another day at Wally World.)

[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] A Florida middle school student's incredible cache of weapons has been revealed after the 11 year old allegedly bragged about his kill list and threatened to shoot up two schools.
Carlo 'Kingston' Dorelli, of Port Orange, has been charged with making a written threat of a mass shooting - a felony - after he threatened to shoot up either his school, Creekside Middle School, or nearby Silver Sands Middle School, the Volusia County Sheriff's Office announced Monday.
Authorities said they received a tip from other students that Dorelli showed off his collection of weapons in a FaceTime call, along with a list of targets.
Some said they could not tell if the weapons were real or fake, WESH reports.
'He had written a list of names and targets,' Sheriff Mike Chitwood wrote on Facebook. 'He says it was all a joke.'
Dorelli's arrest came just days after Sheriff Chitwood vowed to hold any child accountable who makes prank threats amid a flood of bogus tips following the deadly shooting at Apalachee High School in Georgia.
During an ensuing search of the boy's room, authorities found a large amount of airsoft rifles, fake ammunition, swords, knives and throwing stars - which the sheriff's office splayed out on a table like a drug bust.
A photo of the lad’s collection can be seen at the link.
Officials also found a paper in his room with several names that appeared to have stab marks next to them.
The child later admitted to showing his friends his collection of airsoft rifles and some of his knives, but could not remember if he told them that 'the airsoft rifles were not real, functioning firearms,' according to an affidavit obtained by Spectrum News 13.
He said the other students 'began to discuss how [he] was going to complete a shooting,' but said he had 'no intention of causing any of the listed individuals harm,' according to WSVN.
Dorelli was then taken into custody, as deputies filmed him being handcuffed and perp walked into the Volusia Family Resource Center for processing before he would be transported to the Department of Juvenile Justice.
Volusia County School District officials later told WESH that 'safety is our top priority, and this situation exemplifies how the security measures in place at our schools, as well as our partnership with law enforcement, ensures the safety of our students and staff.
'Thank you to the students who spoke up and submitted a tip when they heard something suspicious,' school officials said.
'We take all reports extremely seriously and work with law enforcement to ensure they are thoroughly investigated,' they added.
'We continue to encourage our students that if they see or hear something, they should inform an adult immediately or submit a tip to Fortify Florida.'
Dorelli's arrest came just days after Chitwood vowed to hold any child accountable who makes prank threats amid a flood of bogus tips following the deadly shooting at Apalachee High School in Georgia.
Florida authorities had received 54 phony tips of an impending school shooting in a single night following the tragedy, costing the department about $20,000 in taxpayer money, Chitwood said.
'Every time we make an arrest, your kid’s photo is going to be put out there, and if I can do it, I'm going to perp walk your kid so that everyone can see what your kid's up to,' Chitwood vowed.
'For the little bastards out there who think this is funny, ha ha ha, you want to get on social media: You ain't that smart... You're getting caught,' he added.

[Regnum] At least four people have died in a shipwreck in the southwest of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DR Congo), the France Presse (AFP) agency reported on September 16, citing local authorities.
Another 50 are listed as missing. The tragedy occurred on the Kwango River. According to the vice-governor of the Kwango province, Remi Saki, who gave details of the incident, the vessel crashed into a bridge support and sank.
There were about 150 people on board. A search and rescue operation is underway.
As reported by the Regnum news agency, in mid-June a ship with 271 passengers on board sank on the Kwa River in the DR Congo. It ran aground in the dark. Immediately after the incident, rescuers began searching for at least 80 people who were listed as missing.
On August 19, the superyacht Bayesian sank off the coast of Palermo in southern Italy. It was caught in a storm. There were 12 passengers and 10 crew members on board. The yacht was found at a depth of 49 meters. At least five people died.
[FoxNews] The State Department said it is aware of unconfirmed reports that two additional Americans were detained in Venezuela
A U.S. service member has been detained in Venezuela, the U.S. State Department said.
On Saturday, Venezuela's Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello said three Americans, two Spaniards and a Czech had been detained as they were accused of trying to assassinate Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and overthrow the Venezuelan government, Reuters reported.
Overenthusiastic amateurs or insufficiently prepared professionals?
In a statement obtained by Fox News Digital, the State Department denied the allegations with spokesman Matt Miller saying "any claims of U.S. involvement in a plot to overthrow Maduro are categorically false."
Miller confirmed the detention of the service member and said the State Department was aware of "unconfirmed reports" that Venezuelan authorities detained two additional Americans.
The Associated Press identified the American service member as Wilbert Joseph Castañeda Gomez, a member of the Navy.
The detentions come amid an international dispute over Venezuela's recent presidential election, which was marred by allegations of fraud. While Maduro was declared the winner in July by Venezuelan officials, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said last month there was "overwhelming evidence" Maduro's opposition candidate Edmundo Gonzalez secured the most votes. Guess their's was easier to figure out than ours.
During a press conference on Saturday, Cabello said the detainees were allegedly linked to plans to assassinate Maduro and other officials.
"These groups seek to seize the country's wealth, and we as a government will respond firmly to any destabilization attempt," Cabello said, adding that officials seized about 400 rifles originating in the U.S.
The U.S. State Department denied the allegations.
Cabello said the Spanish nationals were detained as they were taking photographs in the town of Puerto Ayacucho.
"These citizens have links — we know they will say no, that it is a lie — they have links with the center," Cabello said, referring to Spain's intelligence agency.
Spain's government similarly denied any involvement, Spanish media reported.
Diplomatic tensions between Venezuela and Spain remain strained following Venezuela's disputed July 28 presidential election.
A Spanish minister has accused Maduro of running a "dictatorship."
Venezuela was also upset by the decision by Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez to meet with Gonzalez, who went into exile in Spain last week after being threatened with arrest by Maduro's regime following the election.
[MSN - Barron’s] Tech giant Oracle gave a big vote of confidence to nuclear power this week, sending stocks in the industry higher while simultaneously baffling experts who aren't sure how the company's plans are possible.
Oracle founder Larry Ellison told investors on an earnings call Monday that his company is designing one of the largest data centers in existence; a behemoth facility that could consume more power than 300,000 homes.
He also said Oracle plans to use nuclear reactors to power the facility, and is already working with a company that has "building permits" to build three small reactors. Or a nice patio
[Jpost] Police uncovered an underground cannabis lab in the Negev, seizing over 600 plants worth one million NIS, targeting crime families.
Police seized drugs with an estimated value of over one million NIS after uncovering an underground drug lab with an estimated value inside a tunnel near the Arad Bedouin towns in the Negev, the police reported on Tuesday morning.
The underground drug lab was uncovered over the weekend by officers from the Arad station, with the assistance of Border Police officers. According to the report, the tunnel containing the lab was built for the production and cultivation of cannabis, a drug considered dangerous in Israel, and requires medical permits to use.
Housing over 600 plants weighing approximately 140 kilograms, the lab was equipped with a large amount of equipment and was intended for public distribution, the police noted. The discovery of the one million-worth drug lab was part of ongoing efforts against violence and serious crime, targeting crime families, in a nationwide operation called “Emergency Halt,” the police explained.
The operation involves enhanced police action against criminals, targeting economic infrastructure and crime instigators, and is directed by Police Commissioner Dani Levi. Additionally, the operation aims to identify and arrest the crime instigators, prosecute them, and continuously reduce crime in the area while strengthening law-abiding citizen’s sense of security.
As such, the police stressed that additional investigative actions would be taken to locate and arrest the suspects involved in the growing and cultivation of the underground cannabis found in the Negev.
Previously the police reported that as part of the operation, Southern District police officers arrested a suspect in possession of an M16 rifle while scanning the streets of the city of Rahat following reports of gunshots in the area. During the initial investigation, it was discovered that the suspect was a resident of the city.
SUSPECTS ARRESTED AND GOLD BARS CONFISCATED IN OPERATION 'EMERGENCY HALT'
Also part of the nationwide operation “Emergency Halt,” police in Rahat found and confiscated gold bars and jewelry worth one million NIS which are believed to be linked to money laundering. Additionally, nearly 100 traffic tickets were handed to residents in Rahat, the police reported, explaining the objective was to ensure the safety of road farers and to increase their sense of security.
The police also announced that since the operation began on the first Tuesday of August, 268 dangerous combat equipment were confiscated, over 1,200 searches, and over 1,500 arrests were made, all of which were suspected, among other accusations, of violence, illegal arms possessions, and illegal drug possession.
Nearly 200 various firearms, including ten makeshift rifles, were seized, along with approximately 80 grenades, over 10.5 million NIS, and another half a million Dinar, which is used in several Muslim Middle Eastern countries.
Moreover, on Thursday the police also announced they had arrested a crime syndicate in the Beersheba area. According to the police, the crime syndicate was responsible for multiple break-ins into various businesses and the theft of multiple vehicles in Beersheba.
During the raid in Umm Batin in which the crime syndicate was arrested, police found multiple vehicles used by the syndicate members during break-ins and thefts and fake car licenses. Additionally, police forces identified and shut down two businesses associated with the crime syndicate, both of which operated without a license.
Expressing their commitment to combatting crime and ensuring crime instigators are found and prosecuted according to law, the police also announced that operation ‘Emergency Halt’ will continue, without setting a deadline, and that its main focus will be crime within the Arab sector.
Death, starvation, polio vaccines and GAMING consoles?
The Never-Bibi crowd is always happy to find something new to scream at him about. What odds the game console is either booty stolen from Israel on 10/7 or sold by a desperate Gazan parent for some money to buy basics from the Hamas warehouses full of goods brought in by well-meaning NGOs, then stolen upon delivery by Hamas officials before the needy could even see what they’re missing?
[Jpost] The video caused shock and anger among several prominent right-wing Israeli commentators, with many calling this proof that Netanyahu was going too easy on Gaza.
Despite persistent claims of goods shortages and price rises in Gaza, the prices of some goods have been astoundingly low, including that of a PlayStation 5 (PS5), according to video obtained by French journalist Jonathan Serero on Sunday.
The video shows the PS5 game console, fresh fruits, soaps, perfumes, sweets, snacks, soft drinks, and more in the market in the center of Gaza.
PLAYSTATION PRICE SURGE
When the PS5 was first released in 2020, there was a massive shortage of consoles, leading to the price spiking to over twice or thrice the retail price, with one person telling Metro they spent £900 on theirs, while the Guardian reported that some paid nearly £1200.
Although prices stabilized as the release rolled out worldwide, prices were often above retail for a few months.
When the PS5 was approved for import to Gaza, it was sold at a premium of between £765-£860 by Israeli wholesalers to Gazan merchants, according to the Guardian.
Imports continued to be fed mostly by gaming cafes, which charge people to play their consols.
In a time of war and civil unrest why would otherwise marginally tolerated criminal enterprises not be declared terrorist organizations?
This is like fighting within the Mafia. These are Arab-on-Arab attacks within Arab criminal gangs, mostly in Arab-Israeli communities. Occasionally attacks within/between Jewish or illegal migrant criminal gangs. There is no connection to the Jewish state, nor any desire for the Israeli authorities to notice.
[ToI] Victim suffers light to moderate injuries on Route 22, in third such blast linked to feuding gangs within a week.
A vehicle exploded on a highway north of Haifa on Sunday, injuring a man in an incident the Israel Police suspect was related to organized crime.
It was the latest in a series of violent attacks tied to the criminal underworld over the past few days that have seen cars blown up as well as shootings, as criminal gangs fight out a war on the country’s streets.
The Magen David Adom rescue service said it took a man to Rambam Hospital in Haifa with light to moderate injuries. Hebrew media reports said he was about 35.
The explosion occurred on Route 22 near Bialik interchange. Drivers were asked to avoid the area.
On Friday a car exploded in the Old City of Acre, seriously injuring a man in his 30s. Police said the incident was likely related to a criminal dispute. The Walla news site reported that the man’s 4-year-old son was lightly injured in the blast in the northern city, as were a 41-year-old man and 21-year-old woman, while a 15-year-old girl sustained light to moderate injuries.
The explosion in Acre came hours after a man in his 40s was shot dead in the central city of Tira, and a day after a car blast and subsequent fire in the central city of Ramle killed four people and injured nine others, including a two-month-old baby.
All of the attacks were apparently also related to criminal disputes, according to police.
A 17-year-old was arrested Friday on suspicion of involvement in the Ramle blast. The arrest came as some 500 police officers carried out raids in the cities of Ramle and Lod as well as in the unrecognized Arab village of Dahmash in connection to the deadly car blast.
A preliminary investigation into that explosion, which sparked a fire that spread to two nearby stores, indicated that it was caused by a grenade stolen from the Israel Defense Forces and possessed by someone already known to police, Channel 12 reported.
The Ramle attack was thought by police to have been tied to an ongoing dispute between the Jarushi and Abu Zaid crime families, with the car and nearby stores believed to be connected to the Jarushis, according to reports in Hebrew media.
The four victims killed in the explosion were identified by Hebrew media as Daa Abu Halawa, 50, and her two children Sila, 14, and Muhammad, 10, as well as Leen Mugrabi, age 24, all members of the Arab Israeli community.
National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, who is responsible for the police, has faced criticism that he is not doing enough to curb burgeoning gang violence. Ben Gvir entered office as security minister in late 2022 vowing to crack down on crime in the Arab community, but homicides have continued to spiral, with 169 members of the Arab community killed in violent crimes since the start of this year, according to the Abraham Initiatives nonprofit.
Ben Gvir, for his part, has laid the blame on Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara. Speaking at the scene of the attack in Ramle on Thursday, the minister said Baharav-Miara had refused his request to use administrative detention against criminal suspects. Ramle residents accused Ben Gvir of evading responsibility.
Administrative detention — which is used to hold Palestinian and Jewish terror suspects without trial for extended periods of time — is highly controversial, and the notion of using it to fight crime has been met with pushback from security officials.
Many Arab Israeli community leaders have accused police of failing to crack down on powerful criminal organizations and largely ignoring the violence, which includes family feuds, mafia turf wars and violence against women.
[LIFESITENEWS] “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)
Bergoglio, with his ungodly statements addressed to young people in Singapore that “all religions are a path to God,” offends the Majesty of God, betrays Divine Revelation, tramples on the principal Mysteries of our Faith and nullifies the redeeming Sacrifice of the Son of God, Our Lord Jesus Christ.
His lying words are particularly insidious because they are addressed to the new generations, whom Bergoglio deceives into believing that it is possible to be saved without recognizing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Only Savior, and that His Church is the only ark of salvation. I am the door (Jn. 10:9) said Our Lord of Himself. To deny this truth is to apostatize from the Faith and to trample on the Cross. To do so from the highest Threshold is a scandal of unprecedented gravity, surpassed only by the fearful or complicit silence of the majority of the Episcopate.
The “passio Ecclesiæ” is accomplished in the betrayal of a usurped authority, of a new Sanhedrin equally apostate.

The good archbishop is sort of a Dan Bongino of the Catholic establishment.
[FoxNews] Apache Stronghold argues that the federal government is violating its religious freedom.
The Apache tribe in Arizona is taking a fight with the federal government and copper producers to the Supreme Court, which they hope will protect what they say is their religious rights to sacred ground.
Apache Stronghold, a nonprofit group representing the tribe's interests, is fighting to preserve Oak Flat — what the Apaches say is their "direct corridor to the Creator and the locus of sacred ceremonies that cannot take place elsewhere."
According to the petition filed at the high court, the government "has long protected Apache rituals there."
"But because copper was discovered beneath Oak Flat, the government decided to transfer the site to Respondent Resolution Copper for a mine that will undisputedly destroy Oak Flat — swallowing it in a massive crater and ending sacred Apache rituals forever."
Apache Stronghold argues that the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) and the Free Exercise Clause forbids the government to do so and are asking it to reverse a lower court decision.
"In a fractured en banc ruling cobbled together from two separate 6-5 majorities, the Ninth Circuit rejected both claims. Although the court acknowledged that destroying Oak Flat would 'literally prevent' the Apaches from engaging in religious exercise, it nevertheless concluded that doing so would not ‘substantially burden’ their religious exercise under RFRA, relying on this Court’s pre-RFRA decision in Lyng v. Northwest Indian Cemetery Protective Association," the petition states.
"And while the majority acknowledged that singling out Oak Flat for destruction is "plainly not ‘generally applicable,’ it rejected the free-exercise claim ‘for the same reasons’ — no substantial burden," it continues.

This is a mess for so many reasons. They are digging 7,000 foot shafts. Then they will lower the equipment and start blasting and removing material remotely. The giant rooms, they plan on removing 4,000 vertical feet of material, IE from 7,000 down to 3,000 down. Building up the floor with the slag. At first blush it sounds cool and they have done this before in Brazile. The problem is the ground above will become unstable from the blasting and will settle. Mostly minor earthquakes and slow dropping in elevation. The land will become uninhabitable at any level for about a 20 mile radius. Indian land was the only place they could get permits, as the USG wont allow it on fed land.

From whom did they get permits on Indian land? The Indians' who they changed their mind? Or the Feds, who thought it better to despoil Apache land?

But does it represent the sovereign Apache government's interest? Or is this another self appointed organization?
