In our Sevastopol, one such "researcher" of a German sea mine had his head blown off by an explosion.
If you see such a mine, do not approach it. Notify the authorities and wait for the sappers, who will either dispose of it on the spot or take it to a testing ground and blow it up. Do not become a Darwin Award winner.
The Sochi administration has denied information that a sea mine was found on one of the city's beaches.
"The information published in public groups about the presence of a foreign object on the beach has not been confirmed. No such fact has been identified in Sochi. The location does not visually correspond to the view of the Sochi coast," the message on the Telegram channel says.
The operational headquarters of the Krasnodar region confirmed this information.
Earlier, the Telegram channel "Military Observer" reported that a sea mine washed up on the Black Sea coast in Sochi. In the published footage, tourists were retrieving the projectile from the water; they rolled the round spiked object onto the beach.
It was noted that the find could be one of the drifting Ukrainian mines.
