[FoxNews] A 37-year-old Memphis-area man was charged with making threats against President Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Obama, the Justice Department announced Friday.

allegedly posted on X several times last month, threatening to shoot, kill and assassinate Biden and crash his plane and threatening to assassinate Harris and Obama.
Hall was federally indicted Tuesday and charged with two counts of threats to a sitting president and vice president and one count of a threat to a former president. He was arrested and booked in Mississippi July 30 by the Southaven Police Department.
He could face up to five years in prison on each count if found guilty.
Earlier this week, an Arizona man who allegedly threatened to kill former President Trump was arrested after a manhunt as the Republican presidential nominee headed to the state for an event on the southern border Thursday.

The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office told Fox News Digital it took 66-year-old Ronald Lee Syvrud into custody without incident. He was arrested around 2:30 p.m. local time in Cochise County.
Cochise County public information officer Carol Capas told Fox News Digital Syvrud made threatening posts on social media targeting Trump over a period of two days.
The sheriff’s office said earlier that Syvrud has outstanding warrants from the state of Wisconsin for DUI and failure to appear for DUI and from Graham County, Arizona, for hit-and-run and felony failure to register as a sex offender.
Syvrud is listed on the Wisconsin Department of Corrections sex offender registry for "second-degree sexual assault of a child" with an Arizona address.
Court records reviewed by Fox News Digital show Syvrud was most recently charged with assault in June, but that was dropped in July.

Robert Telles, 47, is on trial for killing journalist Jeff German, who had penned critical stories about the official, and the defendant faced tough questioning during cross-examination on Thursday where the prosecutor presented him with a surprise text message sent from his wife that had vanished from his phone.
Telles, a former Democratic Clark County administrator of estates, read out a text message from his wife, showing that she had wondered where he was around the time German was ambushed and killed outside his home nearly two years ago.
''It says, 'Where are you?''' Telles said, in response to prosecutor Christopher Hamner.
Telles testified earlier that he had ignored several text, email and voice messages while he was at home, and gone for a walk and then to a gym the day German was killed.
Prosecutors have suggested that he had left the phone at home as he executed a meticulously planned fatal attack on the journalist.
Hamner zeroed in on cellphone records presented Wednesday by a defense witness that included no listing of the text from Telles' wife.
The prosecutor said it was found on her Apple Watch device, and that the message had been deleted from Telles' phone.
Telles said he had been in possession of the phone all day and that he had had the ability to save and delete messages.
He did not admit that he had deleted the message.
Hamner noted the time — 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 2, 2022 — was the time security video presented earlier to the jury showed a maroon SUV that Telles had agreed looked just like his, was in German’s neighborhood.
It was driven by a person wearing an orange outfit and a big straw hat. Telles himself referred several times Thursday to that person as German’s killer.
Telles said on the stand that a professional assassin stabbed German to death.
He has accused a real estate firm of being behind the murder in order to frame him for trying to fight corruption that he saw in his office.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Oregonians have reacted angrily to a taxpayer-funded scheme that doles out $30,000 for non-legal migrants to buy homes, but excludes US citizens.
Hacienda Community Development Corporation, a Latino-led group in Portland, says in a promotion that it will give first-time home buyers up to $30,000 to get on the property ladder.
But there's a catch, the advert adds. The scheme is 'only for people who are not American citizens.' It is instead open to refugees, asylum seekers, Green Card holders, and those who arrived in the US illegally as children, the post says.
Oregon state representative Ed Diehl is among those to say he's 'appalled' at the scheme, which he said was funded through the state's tax-funded Economic Equity Investment Program (EEIP).
Hacienda and its CEO Ernesto Fonseca, who hails from an impoverished part of Mexico, did not answer The Mail's requests for comment.
The post was unearthed and shared on X earlier this month by a community information group called Oregon Citizen. The group says it was being shared quietly through schools so that the immigrant parents of students could find out about it.
Hacienda is in-part funded through the EEIP, which was created through Oregon's Economic Equity Investment Act of 2022.
It receives millions of dollars from Oregon state taxes and also from federal taxes through the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The EEIP received $15 million at launch and was allocated another $8 million this year.
That money is distributed through Hacienda and other groups that deliver 'culturally responsive services,' according to Oregon Senate Bill 1579.
The funds are aimed at supporting 'economic stability, self-sufficiency, wealth building, and economic equity among disadvantaged individuals, families, businesses, and communities.'
Hacienda was funded through Business Oregon and EEIP to the tune of $692,775 this year, Oregon Citizen says.
The group did not reply to our questions about excluding US citizens from its home loan schemes.
It was founded in 1992 and aims to get poor 'immigrants and communities of color' into homes, says its website.
Immigration has become a key issue in Oregon, with state Republicans moving to repeal some of the state's sanctuary laws, which protect some migrants from deportation.
Still, voters in the Beaver State have nuanced views about migrants.
Polling by Portland firm DHM Research in April 2023 showed that about half of voters say illegal immigration is a serious problem.
The other half, one assumes, have long owned their own homes and enjoy being able to hire low-wage illegals for domestic labour.

[Breitbart] Special Counsel Jack Smith reversed course in his quest to seek expedited hearings in his Washington, DC, case against former President Donald Trump.
Smith sought the hearings to determine which actions that Trump allegedly took he could charge in his election interference case against the president.
The Supreme Court’s July 1 decision that presidents enjoy partial immunity for actions taken in office in an official capacity spurred Smith to alter his approach.
Before Smith relented in his latest push to expedite the increasingly shaky case, Judge Tanya Chutkan had planned to hold hearings in the fall to determine which of Trump’s acts were official acts subject to prosecution.
That determination will now occur after the election — if it occurs at all.
Chutkan is likely to announce the path forward in a September 5 hearing.
Smith’s case against Trump in Chutkan’s court continues to hit roadblocks. His appointment itself was ruled unconstitutional in a Florida court.
If Trump wins the presidency, Smith’s case — and his appointment — are all but certain to come to an end.
[Red State] One member of Trump's personal protective detail and four members of the Pittsburgh Field Office, including the special agent in charge, have been identified for possible disciplinary action. One of the five agents was also the event coordinator.
We'll soon know if this is a real investigation or a coverup. The decision to deprive Trump of adequate protection was made far above the Pittsburgh Field Office. If all the blame is placed on a handful of field agents and a pyramid of (figurative) heads isn't built outside Secret Service headquarters in Washington, then all we're seeing is a coverup perpetrated, and Congress should not stand by and let it happen.

New York City is moving to enforce a 60-day limit on stays in the city's emergency shelter system, a move city officials say will hasten the eviction of many of the 30,000 migrant families living in shelters.
The New York Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance said the state has granted the city permission to begin issuing 60-day eviction notices to migrants and other homeless families not receiving public assistance.
The policy was implemented in January, but until now, state regulations had spared migrants from the 60-day limits on shelter stays. Homeless families living in other shelters run by the city have been subject to the policy for months.
More than 30,000 migrants are staying in shelters run by the city's Department of Homeless Services, spread across 150 hotels, large-scale emergency housing sites and other locations.
“People should not be in shelters their entire lives," New York City Mayor Eric Adams said at a press briefing. “This is traumatizing, and I don’t know if any of you have seen what it is, but it is traumatizing to live in these conditions.”
Homeless advocates have urged the city to halt the time limits on shelter stays, calling them "cruel and disruptive" for vulnerable families who are just settling into schools and communities.
"Shelters have always been designed to be a temporary stop-gap until families can get on their feet, but without inclusive and supportive housing solutions, our shelter system will remain overburdened and our families will continue to fall through the cracks," the New York Immigration Coalition said in a statement.
City officials said they plan to evict migrants on a rolling basis and will be helping connect them with alternative housing. They say some families can reapply for shelter if they have nowhere else to go.
“We’re telling people that they have 60 days and that they can see if there’s other places, other family members,” Deputy Mayor Anne Williams-Isom said during a briefing.
The city also plans on moving about 800 migrants from a large shelter on Randall's Island as part of a crackdown on tent encampments set up next to the shelter by migrants who have maxed out their stay.
New York City has had an influx of more than 210,000 asylum seekers over the past year and a historic surge of immigration along the U.S.-Mexico border, a crisis that Adams said is "not going away."
The city is providing housing, food and other necessities for more than 60,000 migrants in more than 200 temporary "humanitarian" shelters. Adams estimates the city will need to spend $12 billion on migrants through 2025.
Republicans have long said New York City's "sanctuary" policies are encouraging asylum seekers to resettle in the city amid the surge of immigration.
[Breitbart] Republicans have filed a lawsuit to block President Joe Biden’s “Parole in Place” amnesty for at least 500,000 illegal migrants.
“Under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, the federal government is actively working to turn the United States into a nation without borders and a country without laws. I will not let this happen,” Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said in an August 23 statement. He added:
Biden’s new parole workaround unilaterally grants the opportunity for citizenship to unvetted aliens whose first act on American soil was to break our laws. This violates the Constitution and actively worsens the illegal immigration disaster that is hurting Texas and our country.
“This executive [office] amnesty gives over one million illegals legal status, work permits, and a path to voting citizenship,” said Stephen Miller, who is part of the lawsuit. “It is brazenly unlawful, a deadly accelerant to the ruinous border invasion, and we will use every lawful tool to stop it.”
Miller’s American First Legal law firm is a party to the lawsuit along with 16 Attorneys General.
Biden announced the amnesty in June after intense lobbying by Mark Zuckerberg’s lobby group for West Coast investors, FWD.us.
Biden’s Cuban-born, pro-migration border chief, Alejandro Mayorkas, is rushing migrants through the amnesty process, despite the near-inevitability of large-scale married fraud.

“Cecilia has already applied for her work permit and plans to apply for lawful permanent residence status as soon as she’s able to,” ABC reported.
Mayorkas has already used ambiguities in the parole law to import more than one million economic migrants since 2022.
Mayorkas is also pushing a second Biden amnesty from June, dubbed the D-3 amnesty, that uses parole to legalize up to 500,000 illegals who have the qualifications to apply for the college jobs sought by U.S. college graduates.
