[FirstPost] Xi’s handprint is all over the Third Plenum’s decisions. The economic slowdown? No change in course. National security concerns? Double down on control. Technology? A race to dominance. Is this a blueprint for a stronger China, or a nation trapped in Xi’s vision?

It's unverifiable, but what I could gleam from various China reports news sites (all located outside of China, except for a couple in Taiwan.
It seems that Xi may be brain dead and is still on life support, but his doctors are afraid to unhook him for fear that they may be charged with his 'murder'.

[FoxNews] Facebook said the restriction on Reagan ads had been lifted after automation error.
"Reagan" star Dennis Quaid responded on Tuesday to Facebook's explanation for why it was throttling efforts to boost marketing of his new biopic about the 40th president, suggesting it didn't hold water.
At first, Facebook reportedly wouldn't allow the movie's marketing team to boost a post with Quaid's picture promoting the movie through a paid advertisement. Also, Facebook suspended the movie's official account on at least two occasions over clips it posted of Quaid discussing the movie in media appearances.
The marketers said they were told by Facebook that the post "mentions politicians or is about sensitive issues that could influence public opinion, how people vote and may impact the outcome of an election or pending legislation." But, as Quaid pointed out to Fox News' Trace Gallagher, Reagan died in 2004 and certainly isn't eligible for another term in office.
"It seems to be automated that way for some reason. No one's responsible for that," Quaid said. "This happened several times, actually, and we were suspended two days in a row … The last time I heard, Reagan hasn’t been on the ballot in 40 years and not only that, he’s not even eligible to run because he served two terms."
A Facebook spokesperson told Fox News Digital, "While there are no restrictions on this page that would prevent the admins from posting, we did identify a handful of ads from this account that were incorrectly rejected. This happened because our automated systems mistakenly determined that content about President Reagan required prior authorization in accordance with our policies for ads about Social Issues, Elections or Politics. This was a mistake and the restriction on the ads has been lifted."
[World Net Daily] I've said this for over 20 years: We have a two-party system. The Democratic Party is filled with radical, extreme, Marxist, communist traitors who want to destroy America. Pure evil. Satan inspired. They are the enemies of good, patriotic Americans. They are the real "domestic terrorists." But my party — the GOP — is a party of weak-willed, feckless cowards afraid of their own shadow, and sellouts who claim to be Republicans but really play for the other side.
This is true, now more than ever. Except now it's true squared times 100,000!
Think of what Democrats (i.e., radical communist traitors) and the deep state have done to President Donald Trump and other great American patriots over the past few years with this weaponized government.
President Trump was impeached twice over nothing. He was hounded for his entire four-year term by false charges. Then the dirty Democrats and deep state rigged and stole the 2020 election to keep him from finishing the job.
Next they persecuted Trump for the past four years to try to stop him from ever taking back the White House. They indicted him four times. They forced him to spend tens of millions of dollars in legal fees. They tied him up in court instead of campaigning. Their rigged judges and juries first tried to bankrupt him in civil court and then convicted him in criminal court of 34 felonies, without a unanimous verdict.
When all of that couldn't stop Trump, it sure appears the deep state conspired with either our own government, FBI and Secret Service, or a foreign enemy, or both, to try to assassinate Trump.
Now many legal experts believe Trump will be sentenced to prison on Sept. 18 by a judge who is a biased, out-of-control, liberal crusader with a serious case of "Trump Derangement Syndrome," as well as plagued by ridiculous conflicts of interest (his daughter has made millions of dollars working with leading Democrats).
It's impossible to believe this could be happening in America.
Don't forget what they did to Peter Navarro and Steve Bannon (who sits in prison right now).
And the Jan. 6 prisoners — who have become political hostages, enduring cruel and unusual punishment.
Think of what Democrats (i.e., radical communist traitors) and the deep state have done to President Donald Trump and other great American patriots over the past few years with this weaponized government.
Due to West Coast migration, inspired by "Yellowstone".
[FoxNews] "To preserve our independence," Thomas Jefferson once said, "we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt." Or, as Benjamin Franklin said, in his everyman style, "those who go a-borrowing, go a-sorrowing."
The warning from our founders has fallen by the wayside. Reckless spending by career politicians in Washington has left our nation and future generations saddled with $35 trillion in debt, as was recently noted by the Department of Treasury.
It does not have to be this way. In Montana, we chose a different path. Our state is debt-free.
Thanks to good fiscal discipline and strong budget management, we had a budget surplus of $2.5 billion in 2023. While some in Washington might look at a surplus of that size and be tempted to expand government, we resisted. Instead, we allocated the surplus as any family would.
First, we returned over $1 billion to taxpayers through tax cuts and reductions. As a general principle, I believe hardworking Montanans deserve to keep more of what they earn. It's their money, not the government's. That's why we delivered the largest property tax and income tax rebates in state history.
We also provided the biggest income tax cut in state history. These supplements are especially vital as hardworking Montanans, like all Americans, face the affordability and inflationary crisis created by President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris's spending spree.
The issue is not the debt, it's the 'stupid government spending': Ken FisherVideo
Second, we stopped kicking the can down the road and fixed what was broken. Just like a family would make needed repairs to their home, we made one-time capital investments to address deferred building maintenance, improvements to our prisons, building and repairing roads and bridges, and providing historic investments into our behavioral health system.
But I was clear: We should not plant acorns that would grow into mighty oaks in perpetual need of constant watering, trimming and feeding.
Third, we doubled our rainy day fund and other reserves to secure our strong future.
They keep trying. Perhaps this time they’ll succeed, which would nail the election for him.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Donald Trump could be blindsided by an 'October surprise' that would obliterate his chances at retaking the White House, a former Bush administration official has said.
Legal scholar John Yoo sounded the alarm that the former president could wind up in prison - as soon as next month.
Trump has been desperately seeking to hold off his sentencing hearing until after the election, following his conviction by a Manhattan jury of 34 counts of falsifying business records.
But the controversial Judge Juan Merchan has consistently denied his appeals.
While speaking to Fox News host Bill Hemmer on Thursday, Yoo said Merchan wields the power to 'order Donald Trump...to jail immediately.'

Ex-Bush Lawyer??.
Doesn't that re-enforce the general belief that the DC Elite (D's) & (R's) working overtime to keep Trump from office to protect themselves and their bkgrd rule? BTW: which they try to deny.

^ While I philosophically disagree with John Yoo's take on presidential power, he's an honest player who has nothing particularly against Trump. In fact, based on his podcast appearances, I believe he rather likes him. This is an honest warning.

Actually, for an October event, I was expecting Biden to have a "health event" and tragically die, so Kammie can be sworn in, and we have a state funeral, and all that.
That way, when the 'emergency' causes the election to be cancelled, she's already in office, and there's no stopping it.
Please tell me I'm paranoid.

I agree about Yoo being an honest player, and I am convinced they are planning to imprison Trump immediately upon sentencing/ or at a minimum some for of residential confinement with limitations on outside contact that a sych a state of imprisionment would impose. The signal may well be the level of federal forces marshaled in NYC in anticipation of the ensuing unrest.
Since it is a NY State criminal matter, can Trump, upon seeing the cues that presage his detention, remain in FLorida and use the extradition delaying lawfare techniques to remain free until the election? Asking for a friend?
• Vaccines often cause various side effects, making it hard to identify common causes. Neurologist Andrew Moulden discovered that vaccines frequently trigger microstrokes, which can lead to a myriad of acute and chronic diseases.
• Forgotten research from the 1960s, shows that blood cell clumping is a root cause of many diseases—a belief also shared by Chinese Medicine.
• Colloidal chemistry and zeta potential science reveal that positive charges around blood cells cause clumping. Agents with concentrated positive charges, such as aluminum and the COVID spike protein, are especially problematic.
• Improving the physiologic zeta potential benefits a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses. A strong case can be made that many conventional and holistic therapies work in part by enhancing zeta potential.
Note: this is an abridged version of an article I previously published here. Since I receive many questions on this topic and readers wanted an concise version of it, I worked to distill it down to its key points so this topic could easily be shared with others.
Many medical problems stem from the diagnostic approach of physicians, especially with complex illnesses, which are often misdiagnosed and lead to ongoing patient struggles.
Complex conditions can present with varied symptoms across patients and resemble other illnesses (e.g., fibromyalgia vs. chronic fatigue syndrome). In turn, poorly trained physicians often default to psychiatric explanations, overlooking the true causes.
Vaccine injuries have a wide range of symptoms and hence have confused doctors for over 200 years (with many doctors in the past labeling them as "encephalitis"). Presently, I believe three main mechanisms underlie the myriad of vaccine injury:
Immune Dysfunction: Vaccines frequently cause chronic autoimmune disorders and varying degrees of immune suppression.

...My mom - a seriously Old School RN who did it for 42 years - always reminded me that a vaccine contains, if even in unbelievably tiny amounts, things that are dangerous to people.
We tolerate the risks because the other risks caused by the disease are so overwhelmingly dangerous that in the long run, it's worth it. And in the vast amount of diseases, that's true. The problem we face now - and we can kinda go back to the DOD anthrax disaster in the 90s for this - is that we've got people now who believe that vaccines are a divine directive and are going to make us take iffy ones whether they work or not. COVID was one; and I got a bad feeling there's going to be more.

^ Yep. Got my second Shingrix (Chicken Pox Vax) shot yesterday. Arm's sore, but I've known several people that got Shingles and they were miserable. Long enough track record I trusted it.

Frank G I've had shingles twice. After the first time in 1983 I was told I would never get it again. 3 months after the covid "vaccine" I got it again. 4 doctors told me and a Japanese study agreed that the covid shot caused my shingles. That was 2 years ago and I still have pain.

Had shingles a few years ago. Not a pleasant experience.

And that they were mandating two-year-old children to wear masks on airplanes (and kids in general in schools) was beyond disgraceful. We are run by a sick bunch of ghouls.
Oh, BTW, masks didn't work 100+ years ago during the Spanish Flu, either.

It seems those of us here on Rantburg are better medical research experts than the Gov. Medical experts. Because, as many of us on Rantburg, very early on pointed out these same issues. Plus, the lack of C-19 Virus filtering issues long before the "experts" did.
"This is a non-medical mask and is not approved for protection against COVID-19."
QUESTIONS:
When will there be a Class action lawsuit against Mr. Fauci and China for the Wet Labs, and a World Court Criminal Trial for the deaths of 7 Million + persons?

If the goal was to make people healthy and fight a global pandemic that got everything wrong. If the goal was to gain control of the Whitehouse and congress then yes they got it right.
#12
Did they do anything right? Of course they did. They got what they wanted from this pandemic which was cheat-by-mail balloting which allowed Biden to steal the 2020 election.
