A jaw-dropping video shows the moment nearly 100 robbers ransacked a California gas station in the middle of the night.
Surveillance footage displays dozens of masked and hoodie-wearing thieves taking their sweet time to grab as much as they can carry just after 4:30am on Friday at the station in crime-ridden Oakland.
The raid came just days after Oakland's progressive mayor bragged about a drop in crime in the hellhole city.
The operation appeared to be well-planned with all hell breaking loose after a car was deliberately driven into the glass doors of the store.
No sooner had the crash occurred, the robbers were on scene and ready to snatch anything they could, turning the place upside down in the process.
Meanwhile, the police were nowhere to be seen with the robbers seemingly taking their time.
In video footage, those taking part in the robbery could be heard laughing as they casually perused the aisles of the store looking for stuff to take.
The owner, named Sam, called Oakland Police Department upon arriving at the 76. He was allegedly told to 'file a report online.'
The owner told KRON4 then he then attempted to contact the OPD Police Chief Floyd Mitchell only to be told that he had to make an appointment.
Police later clarified that the call to law enforcement came after the suspects had left the premises.
'Video evidence was later reported to OPD that made clear the scale and details of the incident, including the large number of suspects, and the incident was immediately elevated to a Priority 1 incident, which prompted an officer to go to the scene to make contact with the owner, and investigators are now reviewing evidence and working directly with the gas station owner,' OPD said in a statement.
Just days earlier, Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao, 38, had been boasting of a reduction in crime in the city which has been blighted by criminality in recent years.
The progressive Democrat lawmaker is the first mayor in the city's history to be up for recall, after a campaign to oust her gained more than 40,000 signatures.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) — The Myrtle Beach Police Department is upping its presence in the community this weekend after what it calls "disturbing and dangerous" incidents involving fireworks on the Fourth of July.
In one case, police released jaw-dropping surveillance video that caught a large group of teenagers and young adults shooting fireworks at each other, neighbors, homes and cars at Ragin Street and Vereen Avenue.
Sounds like the Palestinian Territories.
Police said it also caused a brush fire near a home, putting people inside in danger.
Authorities said when Myrtle Beach police officers and firefighters responded, fireworks were then shot at them.
In a second case, a teenage boy was hurt when fireworks and a gun were shot at a family gathering on Canal Street that he was attending.
Then in a third case, a young person showed up to the hospital after they were badly hurt by fireworks.
WMBF News is working to learn exactly where each of those cases took place.
"All of this is unacceptable, disturbing, and dangerous. This is not ’harmless fun with fireworks,’" the Myrtle Beach Police Department said. "These are criminal acts that hurt people and damage property.
The Myrtle Beach Police Department said it will be providing a heavier than normal presence in the community throughout the rest of the weekend. It is also enforcing a curfew for minors between midnight and 6 a.m. The department added that noise and fireworks laws will also be strictly enforced.
"We are concerned that this type of behavior will continue and more people will be seriously injured if we don’t work together to put an immediate end to it. We need help from our community," the Myrtle Beach Police Department posted.
The department is investigating each of the cases and said that those responsible, as well as the parents or guardians who allow it, will be identified and held accountable.
Police are asking anyone for information in each of these to help identify people involved in the crimes. Anyone providing information that leads to an arrest can receive an award up to $1,000.

Thirteen senior citizens reported being brutally attacked and robbed in just one week in an Oakland community. But according to leaders at one senior living facility in the city, they say the number is much higher and closer to an astounding 30.
’It was happening every hour on the hour,’ says Sister Marie Taylor, president of the Westlake Christian Terrace resident council. She says she’s counted nearly 30 violent mostly peaceful attacks and robberies on elderly Asian residents in a span of less than a week.
According to the article, residents of the assisted living facility number more than 700, and the average age is 85 years old; when venturing out to grocery shop or run other errands, they’ve been robbed and "brutally" beaten by prowling thugs. The solution? Well, from the ever-so-helpful local government:
Oakland Police say there was a spike in robberies citywide with 83 between June 25th and July 1st. However they say there is no particular reason for the surge. They’re urging elders to walk in larger groups and to do so only during the daytime.
"No particular reason" my rear end. Under Democrat reign, criminals have been emboldened to the nth degree; and why shouldn’t they be? They’ve been given a pass for any and all theft that doesn’t break the $950 threshold; they’ve seen judges, courts, and juries abuse their authority and trust to punish political opponents; they’re let off the hook because of their skin color and "reparative justice"; they’re slapped on the wrist, even after the most heinous crimes, because queer "tolerance" trumps protecting the innocent; and they were permitted to destroy homes, cities, and businesses, even burning scared, innocent people alive, carte blanche, all because a thug on drugs overdosed during an arrest. That’s why there’s a surge in crime.
And, I mean no offense whatsoever, but whether it’s a single octogenarian or a group of them, what difference does that make to a gang of violent mostly peaceful thugs, most likely male, possibly armed, and in the physical prime of their youth? I mean seriously, what a joke. Even more so when you consider that many of these victims are Asian people, who are generally much smaller in stature than other races. With advice this useless, why not just suggest the erection of signs that read "This is a mugging- and beating-free zone"?

[FoxNews] Ring doorbell captured home invasion near Denver in 'an old crime with a new twist,' expert says
A trio of depraved armed robbers posing as deliverymen barged into a Colorado family's home and attacked two children in what could be an alarming new trend, an expert and police say.
The kids' anguished parents – who were not home at the time of the June 12 home invasion – witnessed the fake delivery men enter their house on a Ring doorbell.
The men allegedly attacked the babysitter and assaulted two children – a 14-year-old girl and a six-year-old boy, according to a release from the Aurora Police Department.
"It’s an old crime with a new twist," said retired NYPD Sgt. Joseph Giacalone, who is a professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. "These guys are always looking for a new way to get into your house, and I'm sure police are very worried about whether this is a growing pattern."
A tactic criminals once used was trying to gain access to a home by posing as utility workers, Giacalone said. However, this approach is no longer effective with workers wearing distinct uniforms and carrying identification cards, he added.
The terrifying Colorado home invasion that took place about 10 miles from downtown Denver is the latest in a string of robberies involving fake delivery workers.
The ordeal unfolded a little after 8:30 p.m., when one of the suspects approached the door wearing a bright orange vest and carrying a box, according to footage obtained by KDVR.
"They were dressed in construction vests and claimed they were there to drop a package off. The suspects were holding a package and waited for the residents of the home to open the door," the Aurora Police Department said. "When they did, the suspects forced their way in and robbed the family."
One of the people inside the home opened the door slightly, and the man wearing the vest immediately pushed his way in.
He then began yelling at two accomplices in Spanish that he had gained access.
Ring camera footage showed one of the men holding what appeared to be a gun in his hand as he barged into the home and another suspect exiting a car that was idling outside to join them.
The teen girl was touched inappropriately during the roughly one-minute ransacking, which netted the thieves jewelry and cash, her mother told KDVR.
The babysitter and young boy were also shoved to the ground during the break-in.
The homeowners called police after being alerted to the intruders by their Ring camera.
Police departments across the country have warned homeowners to be careful about opening their doors to strangers after a spate of home invasions.
Giacalone said that the most important precaution to "prevent something terrible from happening to your family" is to verify the identity of the delivery person.
"If someone knocks on the door saying you need to sign for a package request to see their ID, whether through a window, a peephole or a door camera," he suggested.
Homeowners, he added, should also peer out their windows to ensure there is a UPS or Amazon truck parked nearby.
[TMZ] Heslin's husband Scotty Dynamo released the sad news on his Instagram account Friday ... telling the public the budding actor had died on Tuesday, July 2nd from an "unexpected cardiac event."
A GoFundMe has been set up to help with funeral and medical costs, as Heslin had passed after a week-long hospital battle.
Heslin was 30 years old.

At least two people were killed, and seven others injured after a driver crashed into a Manhattan park Thursday night during a Fourth of July celebration, authorities said.
The incident happened just before 9 p.m. on the Lower East Side, according to the New York City Police Department.
NYPD Chief Jeffrey Maddrey said in a press conference on Thursday that the driver of a Ford F-150 pickup truck was traveling at a high rate of speed and ran through a stop sign at the intersection.
The suspect's grey pickup truck then traveled onto the sidewalk where it struck people who were at a Fourth of July celebration, according to Maddrey.
First responders at the scene found the truck on top of four victims, police said.
Authorities said that nine people were struck, and at least two were killed.
Maddrey said they are still working to determine the ages of the victims, but they believe at least two children were taken to the hospital.
Police say that responding officers smelled alcohol at the scene, but tests are ongoing.

[American Thinker] The present world we see today can be traced back to a war that is almost unknown in America, yet had it turned out differently — and it almost did — much of the world problems were see today might not exist.
The Dutch Boers (lit: farmers, also called Afrikaners) in South Africa fled inland, away from the Cape Colony, after the British took it over in 1814. They did not want to live under British rule.
The Dutch did not like the imposition of English language and culture. They resented the abolition of slavery. (Where have we heard that before?) But it was more than slavery.
The Boers were primarily the descendants of Dutch, Huguenot, and German Calvinists. In the 1830s, these Dutch farmers left the then-British Cape Colony and headed for the interior, where they would form the Orange Free State and the Transvaal Republics.
This was called the Great Trek, and it became the stuff of legend. The arduous journey and settlement of the interior paralleled the American conquest of the West. Great paintings were made; books were written about it.
The Boers were religiously conservative Calvinists. Their leaders carried bibles with them. Admittedly, some took it a bit too far — Paul Kruger misinterpreted the bible to conclude that the Earth is flat — but they were overall quite admirable.
But the British kept interfering with them. They could not let the Boers go free. The English tried to interfere with us, too. They impounded our sailors, a cause of the War of 1812. They tried to persuade the Republic of Texas not to join the Union. They tried to interfere in our Civil War.
Only the Boers were too few to fight back.
In 1881, the Boers won the First Boer War, which secured their independence, though the British claimed they were still a vassal state. The British had expected the Boers to remain backward rubes, annoying, but mostly inconsequential. So to London, their "independence" was deemed a minor concession.
Only gold and diamonds were being found in the Boer Territory, and incredible amounts of wealth fell into the hands of the Boer — rather than the British, who wanted it for themselves.
So tens of thousands of British subjects poured into the Boer Republics to stake their claim. The Dutch Afrikaners called them Uitlanders (Outlanders, foreigners). The Boer government would not enfranchise them. They knew that to do so would destroy their Dutch Afrikaner republics.
This was clearly a manufactured crisis, similar to those who would ask Israel to give the Palestinians a right of return that would demographically destroy the Jewish state.
The British wanted those diamonds and gold, and they used every trick in the book to claim that the Boers were oppressors.
At first, they tried to overthrow the Boers in the Jameson Raid of 1895. The Boers caught wind of the plot and thwarted the raid.
The British would not let up, and in 1899, they started moving armies to the border to threaten the Boers.
With no other choice, the Boers pre-emptively struck, and for three years, the world saw a few heroic Boers make a monkey of the mighty British Army. The British had to create concentration camps, where Afrikaner women and children were held — and often starved — to force a surrender.
IT SCANDALIZED THE BRITISH
What prompted this war was major British money. Cecil Rhodes, a former prime minister of the British Cape Colony and a mining magnate and conspirator in the Jameson Raid, along with a few London bankers, wanted complete control of all the gold and the diamonds. Those diamonds and gold could finance Rhodes’s elitist dreams for world British control.
Rhodes wanted to bring America back under British rule.

it would be difficult to estimate how many because the companies that employ them are breaking the law and have to pretend (and maybe believe) that they are legal immigrants
