Ugandan-born Peter Mutabazi made national news recently because he adopted three white children in Charlotte, North Carolina, who needed a home. The press treated Mutabazi like a hero. It’s an unconventional family, this black father admitted, but it works. His explanation? "Love transcends racial differences."
In family courts across the nation, however, love does not transcend skin color if the adoptive parents are white. The door only swings one way. So-called anti-racism, which manifests as anti-white racism, has invaded child welfare to a startling degree. Unlike policing, university hires, or medical training, what happens in family courts is usually a quiet affair, far removed from the public eye. That makes foster care children the perfect tabula rasa for the left’s experiment in social engineering where skin color is the dominant and deciding factor.
Racist woke ideology in family courts is a huge red flag. For over 30 years, the Multi-Ethnic Placement Act (MEPA) has made it illegal to place vulnerable children in homes on the basis of race, but those laws are now often flouted by activist judges and social workers, causing children to get caught in the revolving door of foster care as courts search for a match by tribe or skin color. As a result, a little girl or boy’s hopes for adoption into a lasting family fade away, one broken attachment after another.

my uncle landed there also. My father's ship was sunk in the Coral Sea. Both of them explained their wars to me when they were n their late 80's. The reason was because I was in the military. PTSD is my diagnosis. Sea war was a dinner bell for sharks.

On the 50th anniversary of D day I was sailing on the Rhine with a group of WW11 soldiers. One of the men on the ship was a radioman for Patton. He stated that they crossed over the River on the last bridge standing. Patton directed that it should be blown up because we weren't going back!

IKE really liked Patton. MacArthur and IKE graduated Annapolis much higher than Patton that year.
I met a fellow who lied about his age and joined the Calvary riding into Mexico under the command of Brigadier General John J. Pershing. 14 years old he was. The hardest life then. I met him when he was 104. Paper on the wall unframed of his service. He is dead now so I suppose I can give you his name, George Stagerwald (misspelled perhaps).
[PJ] Tucker Carlson’s interview with El Salvador’s president Nayib Bukele revealed the nation’s obvious yet unlikely secret to success over the last several years: calling upon God’s wisdom to guide the country. While it seems a simple matter to prioritize faith in the divine Creator as a matter of policy, it also sounds shocking to viewers in the United States, where godless secularism has all but purged faith from the public square since the Obama administration.
El Salvador is an unabashedly Christian country, much like the United States used to be. There are many parallels, as the United States’ original colonies were founded on the freedom to worship the Creator in the way one chooses without fear of repercussions. El Salvador means "The Savior" in Spanish. However, it’s been easy to see the trajectory of the two nations going in opposite directions in recent years as the U.S. continues to decline in faith. Yet El Salvador has become more resolute.
Crime statistics tell a lot of the story, where El Salvador all but wiped out the violent gang problem that plagued its country and made it one of the most dangerous places in the world. When Carlson asked Bukele how he could save his country, Bukele stated he had a plan, but unofficially, he said, "It’s a miracle."

Admiral Alexander Kolchak, who proclaimed himself the supreme ruler of Russia, is certainly the most prominent figure of the white movement. For a long time they tried to make him a hero, a knight of the “white idea” (which, it should be noted, he, a pragmatist and careerist, turned to quite late). The film “Admiral,” which was sensational in its time and contained many factual errors, tried to present Alexander Vasilyevich not only as a military and statesman, but also as a very loving person. A significant part of the film is occupied by Kolchak’s relationship with his legal wife, Sofia, and the legal wife of his comrade, Anna Timireva.
So, the usual compilation of military news will not be featured for this edition of Rantburg.com

[AT] The notorious Deborah Birx has apparently never heard the term "let the dust to settle," because mere days after her partner-in-pandemic-crime, Anthony Fauci, appeared for a congressional hearing in which he confirmed that his Covid-19 mandates were not science-based, sending much of the "normie" world into a fit of hysterics because they’ve just discovered what we knew all along, Birx decided to announce new mandates for the American public regarding the "Bird Flu" virus; from Jordan Schachtel of The Dossier:
Deborah Birx says we must test every cow in America (on a weekly basis) for bird flu.
"We should be testing every cow, weekly," Birx says adding, "we could be pool testing every dairy worker."
There are around 40 million cows in the United States.

First, and I must get this out of the way because it’s a critical piece of the puzzle and it’s seemingly been overlooked by the entire media except American Thinker—I’ve written on this twice before, once in December of 2022 and once in January of this year, and I’ve yet to see another outlet or platform pick up on it. When Fauci admits social-distancing policies "sort of just appeared," he’s not saying he made them up, the conclusion to which people and the media jump, because he didn’t. They came to him directly from the Chinese Communist Party and the World Health Organization, via Fauci’s own delegate, a Mr. Clifford Lane.
Fauci’s sworn testimony in a November 2022 deposition alleges that once Lane returned from a WHO-sponsored envoy to China, the two men discussed "pandemic" measures, and it was Lane who brought back the idea of "social distancing" from the Chinese. So Fauci isn’t exactly lying that these measures "sort of just appeared" but he is misleading everyone when he pretends that he doesn’t know from where they sort of just appeared.
(For all the details please see both of my previous blogs here, and here; for the deposition transcript, which seems to keep disappearing off of the internet, please see this archived link here.)
Anyway, back to Birx, who has the gall to tell us what we "should be" doing, after participating in one of the most egregious crimes against humanity in history—not only is her credibility utterly shot, her plan is completely illegal, and a grossly invasive suggestion.
When she declares what "we" should be doing, she’s of course talking about the federal bureaucracy, in this case it would be the CDC, the USDA, the FDA, or any other alphabet swamper that has nothing to do but trample on American farmers—but what legal authority do unconstitutional federal agencies have? Well I say none, and if your county has a good, constitutionally-minded sheriff, then your local law enforcement would concur.
Secondly, this "testing" scheme would either be, a) government-funded, AKA taxpayer-funded or, b) mandated on the farms via the federal agencies, which just means that dairy and beef prices would surge beyond what they already are. Here’s a thought: make every conceivable effort to adjust your spending to prioritize sourcing your beef and dairy from small local farms instead of supporting the big operations
As Schachtel also noted, Birx is intimately involved with the pharmaceutical industry, sitting on a number of advisory boards—which makes me wonder how much she personally stands to (financially) gain if mandated dairy testing were to materialize. Former governor of Arizona Doug Ducey previously sat on the board of TGen, a non-profit company which led much of Arizona’s Covid-19 testing and tracking programs during the scamdemic, making who knows how much money in the process; would you be surprised to learn that "Republican" Ducey repeatedly extended the "state of emergency" for more than two years in Arizona, which kept TGen’s testing and contact-tracing programs in business?
Again, none of this has ever been about following the science, but about following the money.
Also, I would not trust the Lefts Test kits. Given, they openly want to eliminate beef from any menu and go Vegin.
BTW:
The idea that cattle are the major problem to the environment. A recent USDA Report indicates Vegan's are the ones causing more harm to the environment, than even cattle.
Should we start culling the Vegan's now, or after election? ☺

It isn't just impractical, its so impossible the only reason to is Birx has investment options in the test production and is designed to fail. Every false positive puts down a farm.
By the way, Birx, what was the failure rate on the Covid testing? Wasn't it so bad that a person had to pass three consecutive tests to be considered clear?
