[AmGreatness] Governor Ronald Reagan, in his 1967 inaugural address, famously remarked, "Freedom is a fragile thing and it’s never more than one generation away from extinction."
Reagan today might have expanded on his theme by declaring that civilization itself is both fragile and can lost by a generation that recklessly spends its inheritance while neither appreciating nor replenishing it—if not ridiculing those who sacrificed so much to provide it.
Such is the noxious epitaph of the Baby Boomer generation that is now passing after a half-century of preeminence and whose Jacobin agendas have nearly wrecked the nation they inherited.

[American Spectator] One of the more preposterous aspects of the protests roiling American college campuses is the insistence of the students that they be spared any adverse consequences for their actions. They expect no suspensions, no expulsions, and most of all no harmful impact on their precious internships and job prospects. Civil disobedience without penalty is purely performative, and reduces their protests to a juvenile lark, the latter day equivalent of phone booth stuffing or streaking. Had Martin Luther King Jr. written a "Letter from the Birmingham Hotel" it would have lost its moral impact. Suffering the consequences of his actions was the price of his civil disobedience. Avoiding them today renders the actions of student protesters functionally meaningless.
But spare these kids the usual opprobrium dispensed by their elders. They are in fact acting in accordance with the consequence-free behavior embraced by many of our leading institutions. Students at our top universities endure expensive courses taught by vapid ideologues, tortuous bureaucratic ordeals imposed by incompetent administrators, and witness no penalties for rule-breaking committed for officially approved political causes.
We wish to think that once these young people leave university, the "real world" will impose consequences in the form of a mythic boss who brooks no nonsense. But that is not likely, given their career aspirations. The academic majors of student activists, as noted by the New York Post, are heavy on various "Studies" disciplines, which suggests future employment in the non-profit world, where inadequate performance is difficult to measure and rarely punished. These students avoid the STEM disciplines where failure is obvious and penalized. Non-profits offer "meaningful" employment to activists without the dread prospect of being canned for non-performance. [FOX] A recently published report named a popular Southern beach destination as the most moved-to city in 2024.
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, took the crown of most moved-to city in an analysis published by PODS, a moving and storage company. Wilmington, North Carolina, shared the same spot.
PODS found that more and more Americans are opting to move to Southern states, which has become a trend in recent years.
"We’re seeing more people move to the Southern Appalachian region, which includes states like North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama," PODS explained.

...Until a few years ago, I absolutely loved the Redneck Riviera - it was tacky, it was crowded, it was getting progressively more and more expensive, but it was about as American as you could get. Hell, one of the best things about it was the number of folks from Eastern Europe who were (quite legally, and proudly so)here to make a living and eventually become citizens. People were happy, and it was fun.
But it's gotten bad. Crime and homelessness is rampant, and the two weeks a year of organized thugishness known as Bike Week(s) don't do any favors. (I know that the vast majority of them are there to just rev their bikes and have a good time, but the few bad ones more than make up for them.) The economy isn't making it any cheaper to go.
If people are moving to anywhere near MB, it ain't the city proper - it's the literal dozens and dozens of very expensive and very secure condo buildings or gated communities.

I live in Myrtle Beach Biker Week (there are two, one for all and one for blacks) is less thuggish than an hour than any 20 minutes in any Democrat city. Housing near the ocean is a fraction of the cost of anywhere else. My annual property taxes are less than I paid per month in CT. Most Yankees that moved here are Trumpsters.

[REGNUM] In the fall of 2022, when Russian troops were withdrawing from the Kharkov region, a correctional online school in Kupyansk was literally on the front line, where 60 children remained. The Russian military evacuated minors abandoned by the administration to the LPR - they were sheltered by a local boarding school in the city of Perevalsk.
There were no orphans among the children: during the year, families scattered all over the world were looking for the children, the director of the boarding school, Tatyana Semyonova, tells IA Regnum.
During active hostilities, one of the parents was urgently evacuated to Russia, others to Ukraine and Europe. But all the children who ended up in the Perevalsk boarding school were eventually reunited with their families - through the efforts of the institution’s staff, the Red Cross and other organizations.
It was extremely difficult to find the families of children who could not remember either the contacts or the names of their parents or guardians, recalls Tatyana Viktorovna.
“We found one family in the Republic of Mari El. The family was literally divided in two: parents with three children were evacuated one and a half thousand kilometers away, three younger children - a girl and two boys - here in the LPR.
In Mari El, they were given a house as they had many children. The police were able to find them only in January 2023, then the family was reunited,” says Semyonova.
At the same time, some children cried and did not want to leave. The director of the boarding school recalls a meeting between a mother and her child, who lived in the LPR, but did not know where her baby was. The child was very small and did not even recognize his mother right away.
The last boy and girl remaining in the boarding school met with their relatives in the village of Izvarino, Lugansk People's Republic, where they still live.
“WHY DID YOU TEACH CHILDREN TO SING THE RUSSIAN ANTHEM?!”
The relatives of many children were evacuated by Ukrainian volunteers to Western Ukraine and various European countries. The grandmother of one boy, says Tatyana Semyonova, traveled to Perevalsk for several days from Germany when she found out where her grandson was.
The children rescued from Kupyansk are precisely those whom Ukraine calls “stolen,” for which the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin and children’s ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova. One sixteen-year-old boy appeared in the Ukrainian lawsuit, Tatyana Viktorovna notes.
“His stepfather fought against Ukraine, was a DPR militiaman, and his mother lived in Ukraine, somewhere in a village not far from Kupyansk. She arrived, I gave her the child. Then Ukrainian journalists and employees of the guardianship authorities of the Kharkov region called me and were indignant: “Why did you teach Ukrainian children to sing the Russian anthem?!”
This boy painted a photo of himself with other children in the colors of the Russian flag. His mother took him to Germany,” says the director of the boarding school.
Many children from villages and villages spoke Ukrainian, the teacher notes. But thanks to the help of Lugansk children, the language barrier was quickly overcome.
“The main thing for me is that the children found their families and were not left alone. Thank God they are alive. And all the parents are very grateful to us for saving them. And where they will live is no longer so important.
Children are hostages of conflict. But the Russians do not abandon their own, and these Ukrainian children were saved by our Russian soldier. And they didn’t do anything with them, didn’t give them away anywhere, but returned them to their parents and legal representatives,” says Tatyana Viktorovna.
THE WEST IS DELIBERATELY DISTORTING THE FACTS
On the eve of Children's Day, May 31, Vladimir Putin held a working meeting with Children's Rights Commissioner Maria Lvova-Belova.
One of the issues was the reunification of children evacuated from the war zone with their families. Putin noted that in the West, “real political games” were created from the situation with rescuing children, and all children from Ukraine and Russia should be reunited with their families.
Lvova-Belova said that the commissioner’s office helps in cases “where there are relatives, parents who have full rights”; they have already managed to reunite 70 children with their relatives. At the same time, the Kiev regime does not cover cases when Russia transfers children rescued from the conflict zone to Ukraine, since this contradicts accusations of Russian “aggression” and the “capture” of minors.
The Ombudsman recalled that negotiations with Ukraine had previously taken place through the mediation of Qatar: a list of 29 children was recorded, of which 6 had already been returned to their homeland. These are boys aged 6 to 17 years, including two brothers. All children lived in Russia with relatives. One of the mothers and an accompanying person came from Ukraine to pick them up.
And six more Ukrainian children returned from Russia to their homeland on December 5 last year - they lived in new regions.
At the same time, back in October 2023, Lvova-Belova refuted Kyiv’s statements that there were 19 thousand forcibly displaced children in Russia. Western politicians deliberately distort facts in order to demonize Russia, the ombudsman noted.
CHILDREN-PARTISANS
The story of another family evacuated by Russian soldiers from Artyomovsk was told to IA Regnum by a resident of Gorlovka, Ella Kondratenko.
In 2014, her son died fighting in the militia. Since then, Ella and her husband Alexander began helping the Russian army and civilians. But the woman admits that she doesn’t like the word “volunteer” and asks them to call them in simpler and more understandable words - “we just help our own.”
Ella calls the family of Alexey and Oksana from Artyomovsk, who, along with their two children - a girl and an older boy - were evacuated by Russian soldiers during fierce fighting in the city, "real partisans."
“A completely unique family. The wife of the Ukrainian “birds” (reconnaissance drones) was burying them while herding cows, and the children were running between the security guards: where sand would be poured into the soldiers’ gas tank, where the tower would be jammed…” says Ella Kondratenko.
In general, for ten years, the woman continues, the family regularly helped the militias, and then the Russian troops. They collected important information and passed it on to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
“When active hostilities began, they were sitting in the basement. They were evacuated by our military, the girl and mother were injured. Thank God, everything worked out: the girl had surgery, so far so good. But who knows what will happen next - the wound was in the head.
“Cheerful, smiling girl. He says when he grows up he will be a farmer. Now she is seven years old,” Kondratenko said.
Now the family lives in the DPR, in the village of Mironovka. Alexey and Oksana and their children cannot return home to Artyomovsk yet, but they plan to do so soon.
“WE DON’T NEED ANYTHING, WE NEED A FAMILY”
Ella Kondratenko told IA Regnum another story about her friend Anna Nedavnyaya. The woman's son died in 2015. She had three sons. The youngest - Vyacheslav joined the militia in 2014, adding a year to his age - at that time he was 17.
Since his older brothers had their own families, the boy told his relatives that their children should not grow up without fathers, and told his mother that she could not change his decisions.
“He didn’t live a week before he came of age. He died in 2015, near Debaltseve, when the “boiler” there was closing. The boy burned three armored personnel carriers and died shooting at the last arriving ZIL with Aidar (the organization is included in the register of terrorists and extremists by Rosfinmonitoring).
“He was able to burn this ZIL with the Nazis, but he killed himself with the recoil. Thank God, they remember him, the children come to see their mother. There is a memorial plaque at the school where he studied,” says Ella Kondratenko.
After the death of her son, Anna Gennadievna began helping the military, getting quotas for operations that were not performed in the DPR.
In 2022, she went to an orphanage that had been evacuated from Gorlovka to Yenakievo to bring sweets and gifts to the children for the holiday.
“Two guys came out - a ten-year-old boy and an adult boy, 16-17 years old. She looked at the youngest and saw her son in him. She said: “I look, and my Vlad is standing in front of me.”
She was stunned, went up to the guys, invited them to bring anything, and the eldest answered her: “We don’t need anything, we need a family,” Ella retells her friend’s memories.
It turned out that there were four of these children. Returning to Gorlovka to her husband, Anna offered to take them to her place. So the orphanage children returned home again and found a family. Later, Anna received custody of two more children. Now there are 8 adopted children in the family, and documents are being prepared for two more.
“In our city, since the beginning of the SVO, the birth rate has increased by almost 40%. It's very simple: imagine you have a husband on the front line, he returned home for 2-3 days, you love each other. She became pregnant and will not have an abortion, even if she already has two or three children and is already over forty years old. She is afraid that she will lose her child, and that her husband may not return. And there are many such stories - women began to fear sin and fear God,” said Kondratenko.

That is what makes this interesting. Dr. Phil is one of the last people you would expect to be going on about the weaponization of the DoJ. And suddenly his large audience is confronted with an idea that not long ago was just right-wing Christian Nationalist crazy talk. Change may be afoot!
[YouTube - 2 years ago] We are living amidst a Cold Civil War. This is a war not over the size of government or taxes, but over the American way of life. Winning this war requires fundamental understandings. For starters, you must understand that you are, in fact, in a war. Tom Klingenstein explains the dimensions of this war.
[IsraelNationalNews] The leaders of the American State Department who whitewashed Fatah/PLO/PA are no less rejectionist towards a viable resurrected nation of the Jews than the Hamas or Islamic Jihad beheaders of Jewish infants are.
Once again the cause of creating Arab state # 22 has emerged on the center stage of world opinion. That would be the second state for Arab nationalism, not first, in the original April 25, 1920 Mandate of Palestine’s territory. As is often cited, but usually ignored, today’s Jordan was gifted with almost 80% in 1922.
The recipient Arabs would be those who deny Jews their sole, minuscule, resurrected one—whether it’s 9-15 miles wide by the pre-UNSC Resolution 242, ‘49 Auschwitz/armistice lines, or 242’s which granted Israel a reasonable territorial compromise, where Israel’s extreme vulnerability was finally taken into consideration in the wake of the June 1967 War, started with an Egyptian blockade of Israel…a casus belli.
The Arabs in question mostly came into the land of Israel/Judea from elsewhere, and only in fairly recent history (despite largely fictitious claims otherwise) have renamed themselves “Palestinians.” The more historically accurate designation should be “Palestinian ARABS”—where Arab is the main identifying noun, and Palestinian is the descriptive adjective.
They speak the same language, share most of the same culture, religion, and so forth as hundreds of millions of other Arabs. Granted, there’s some differences among these folks, but no more, for example, than 40 million stateless Kurds who speak different dialects in Turkey, Iraq , Syria, Iran, and so forth. Or, for that matter, Jews from over 50 different countries who’ve been oppressed in many if not most of those lands.
The following two links show how in the public relations fight to deny Jews their one state, Arabs have tried to transform themselves into the “old” and “new “ Jews over rights of possession in the ancient land of Israel/ Judea: Here and here.
Here’s a PLO executive committee member paraphrased in the above second link:
“There are no differences between Palestinians, Syrians, Lebanese, and other Arabs…It is only for tactical snd political reasons that we now emphasize “Palestinian” identity in out battle to deny Zionism and Jews any rights to the land at all.”….Zuheir Mohsein, Dutch newspaper Trouw, 3/31/1977."
When considering the claim for a 22nd Arab state, please next consider such things as…
There are Moroccan, Libyan, Algerian, Iraqi, and other Mizrahi and Sephardi Jews who predate Arab conquerors of those lands by millennia.
Do they get to demand other states besides Israel because they perhaps decide to rename themselves “Moroccans” instead of Jews?

[REGNUM] On the first day of summer, US President Joe Biden announced details of a plan to resolve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. The head of the White House emphasized that the document was proposed by the Israeli authorities, and they have already transferred it to the Hamas movement through representatives of Qatar.
The plan involves three stages. In the first, within six weeks, all Israeli forces must be withdrawn from the populated areas of Gaza, and 600 trucks with humanitarian aid will enter the Strip itself daily. In addition, Hamas must "release a number of hostages, including women, the elderly and the wounded, in exchange for the release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners."
At the second stage, after negotiations held against the backdrop of a ceasefire, no matter how long they last, it is planned to “exchange all living hostages, including male soldiers.” And if Hamas fulfills its obligations, the document states, the temporary truce will turn into a permanent ceasefire.
In the third stage, a plan for the reconstruction of Gaza will be adopted and the bodies of the dead hostages will be returned.
The proposals voiced are not new, explains IA Regnum international political scientist, RIAC expert Elena Suponina. The points that have been discussed for several months under the leadership of CIA Director William Burns together with his colleagues from Egypt, Israel and Palestine are practically repeated, the expert adds.
“What is new is that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has finally begun to understand that his goals in the Gaza Strip, including the complete destruction of radical groups, cannot be completely achieved, as opposition representatives, former prime ministers Ehud Barak and Ehud initially said Olmert,” says Suponina.
At the same time, Biden is positioning the plan as a victory for Israel, since, in his opinion, Tel Aviv has already achieved “realistic goals” during the military operation.
“At the moment, Hamas is no longer capable of organizing another October 7th, and depriving it of such opportunities was one of Israel’s main goals in this war. Fair goals, in general,” said the American president.
The Palestinians, however, do not think so - but agreed with the plan.
“The Biden plan is generally beneficial to Hamas: the movement proposed approximately the same scheme,” international political scientist Abbas Juma told IA Regnum in a commentary.
"ISRAEL DOESN'T WANT TO STOP, BUT IT CAN BE STOPPED"
Hamas officials said the movement is "ready to work constructively with any proposal that is based on a permanent truce, complete withdrawal of troops from Gaza, reconstruction of the strip and the return of temporarily displaced persons." Hamas is also ready to “complete a serious prisoner exchange” if Israel agrees to it.
At the same time, in Israel itself, despite Netanyahu’s supposed consent, fermentation began. At first, the prime minister's aides said that the plan was creaky, but they accepted it. Then the Prime Minister actually rejected him.
“The war will not end until we achieve all our goals, including the return of all our hostages, as well as the destruction of Hamas’s military and administrative capabilities,” the prime minister said, casting doubt on Biden’s words that Israel proposed the plan.
Because of this, Biden is being called a liar.
“ Biden is already accustomed to Netanyahu’s humiliation. In early May, he warned that if the IDF entered Rafah, it would not supply weapons to the Israelis.
Three weeks later, Israeli tanks entered central and western Rafah. After this, Biden administration officials decided to define what it means to “enter Rafah,” writes the British publication The Guardian.
There are also opinions that Netanyahu may pay for what he said.
“Israel has already said it has accepted the deal. If he abandons it now, it will be a death sentence for the hostages and will cause a crisis of confidence in relations with the Americans and intermediary countries,” says Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid.
At the same time, stopping now for Israel is tantamount to defeat and shame, followed by irreversible political processes, Abbas Juma believes.
“Israel is not capable of stopping, but it can be stopped. The Americans can do this - by force, by blackmail. But all this will turn out to be meaningless if the United States does not take a number of real steps, letting Israeli politicians understand that tomorrow Washington may no longer help,” says the international political scientist.
Biden, the expert recalled, openly called on the Israelis to disobey Netanyahu.
"I need your help. “Everyone who wants peace must speak out about it now and convince your leaders to accept the deal,” the head of the White House said.
New coalition as Netanyahu's salvation
The Israeli prime minister with his ambitions has long been considered the main obstacle to peace. But by “leaders,” Biden now means not only Netanyahu, but also the far-right members of his cabinet.
“The Israeli prime minister's political career is in the hands of far-right coalition members who say they will quit if Netanyahu agrees to a ceasefire,” writes The Guardian.
Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir have already announced their readiness to leave the cabinet - in their understanding, the war should continue until Hamas is destroyed.
The possible withdrawal of ministers from the coalition is a big problem for Netanyahu.
Smotrich’s party has 7 seats in the Knesset, Ben Gvir’s has 6. In general, the government coalition has 64 seats out of 120. Yes, Yair Lapid (who has 17 seats in the Knesset) has already made it clear that he is theoretically ready to compensate for the 13 who drop out of the coalition far-right mandates. But first, it will make Netanyahu dependent on his political rival. Secondly, Lapid may change his mind.
“Netanyahu is now discussing with other Israeli politicians the possibility of creating a new coalition. However, the negotiations are not easy: many Israeli politicians have previously worked with Netanyahu, and some do not want to repeat this experience. They just don't trust him. But Netanyahu will not implement the plan alone,” Elena Suponina is convinced.
BIDEN IS NOT A DECREE
Thus, the fate of the “Biden peace plan” depends not only on American pressure, but also on the outcome of internal political negotiations in Israel. Netanyahu cannot remain without a coalition majority under any circumstances—his resignation will inevitably entail criminal prosecution. Therefore, it is possible that if negotiations with Lapid and other opposition leaders do not succeed, Netanyahu will continue the war.
And he will even try to enlist the support of pro-Israeli forces in the United States (Netanyahu is due to speak before Congress in the near future). That is, says Abbas Juma, he will hope for a favorable outcome of the elections in the United States and that he will be able to finish off the Palestinians.
Simply because he has no other choice.
“Yes, the Netanyahu government in Gaza has driven itself into a strategic impasse, and the Americans are offering at least some way out. However, it is very difficult for Netanyahu to exit through this door. This is largely due to his personal ambitions and the future of his government,” summarizes Elena Suponina.

^Neh, they simply hate him because he's more popular in USA then they are.
The discovery of America and the apogee of European civilization which ushered in the modern world were based on resistance to Islamic colonialism. Since then, European nations withdrew from the Muslim world to avoid colonialism only to be colonized by millions of Muslims from their old colonies. Rather than ending colonialism, Europe went from the colonizers to the colonized, and European governments were called on to once again rule over millions of Muslims, no longer in the Middle East, Pakistan, North Africa or Asia, but in London, Paris, and across their own nations. With that the rulers swiftly became the ruled.
Where the old European governments had looked to pacify Muslims abroad, their EU descendants struggled to pacify them at home. And America soon followed. After 9/11, America had been primarily worried about Muslim terrorism coming from abroad. Now it mostly worries about Islamic terrorism coming from Muslim converts and immigrants within the United States.
A history of Islamic colonialism is repeating itself with the complicity of ignorant ideologues who describe the process by which the cruel imperialism that crippled most of the world made a comeback, subjugating women, cultural and racial minorities and all non-Muslims, as liberation.
...Islamic colonialism long predated British men with pith helmets strutting around the third world. Its death toll is in the tens of millions and the resumption of Islamic colonialism ought to be as great a concern as if Nazism had risen from the dead and tanks were speeding across Europe.
Unfortunately too many civilized peoples have forgotten their history and have been convinced that their former and future conquerors are the victims because they were briefly colonized for less than half a century, when Islamic colonialism lasted for over a thousand years, and would not be toppled by any number of peaceful protests or speeches the way that the British were.
Islamism is colonialism. The real decolonization is resistance to Islamic expansionism.
