Special counsel David Weiss is alleging that Hunter Biden illegally bought a revolver in 2018 and falsely claimed that he was not an unlawful drug user, CBS News noted. Judge Maryellen Noreika said the prosecution must prove Hunter Biden was addicted to drugs at the time, but they don’t have to prove he was using drugs the day he bought the gun.
"A source with knowledge of the Oct. 23, 2018, police report told Fox News that it indicated that Hallie Biden, who is the widow of President Biden’s late son, Beau, and who was in a relationship with Hunter Biden at the time, threw a gun owned by Hunter Biden in a dumpster behind a market near a school," Fox News reported.
Hallie Biden was married to Biden’s son Beau, who died of glioblastoma on May 30, 2015, at the age of 46. Beau Biden was twice elected as the Attorney General of Delaware; during his tenure, he served for a year in Iraq with the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps.
Hallie Biden married Beau Biden in 2002, but after he died, she engaged in a romantic relationship with his brother, Hunter, in 2016, which lasted until 2019. Hunter Biden was going through a separation from his wife, Kathleen, who reverted to her maiden name, Buhle, in 2019. Buhle later said she only discovered the affair after her daughters, whom she said had seen texts on their father’s phone, urged the family’s therapist to inform her.
"I was shocked, but not heartbroken. Heartbreak has already flatted my self-esteem that past year," Buhle noted in her autobiography, "If We Break."
Joe Biden commented on the affair, "We are all lucky that Hunter and Hallie found each other as they were putting their lives together again after such sadness. They have mine and Jill’s full and complete support and we are happy for them."
Hunter Biden has been accused of being part of an influence-peddling scheme that includes his father.
Rep. Lisa McClain (R-MI) stated, "I want to talk about examples of Biden’s influence-peddling scheme. This time, it was Romania. It follows the same general pattern as we have seen with other countries like China, Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan. Here’s the pattern. It’s really simple. A corrupt foreign oligarch needs access to the U.S. government. Hunter Biden sells influence to the U.S. government. The oligarchs pay up. Hunter stopped getting paid as soon as his father leaves office... Seriously, what services was Hunter Biden providing to the Romanian oligarchs for millions of dollars? We’ve yet to hear it!"
Rep. Gary Palmer (R-Al) noted that Joe Biden personally met with Biden family business associate Tony Bobulinski, Hunter Biden, and Jim Biden (Joe’s brother) to discuss a business venture related to the Chinese energy company CEFC. He asked Bobulinski if he had met Joe Biden. When Bobulinski said he had, Palmer asked what the purpose of that meeting was.
"I wish Hunter Biden was sitting next to me and he could under oath describe it, but I was meeting with Joe Biden and the only reason why I was there is because I was the CEO of the enterprise that they were putting together with the Chinese company CEFC," Bobulinski stated. "At a high level, Hunter actually introduced me to Joe because before Joe came and sat down with us, Hunter said ’Hey, give me five to ten minutes, I need to read my father in on it.’"

[JustTheNews] The office alleged that the State of California improperly claimed about $52.7 million in federal medicaid reimbursements. The Biden administration has plans to allow as many as 100,000 uninsured illegal immigrants to access taxpayer-funded health insurance.
The state of California incorrectly claimed millions of dollars in federal Medicaid funding for health services that were provided to illegal immigrants, according to the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General .
The OIG released an audit last month that alleged the California Medicaid program didn't use proper methodology to evaluate reimbursements for resources given to noncitizens who aren't eligible to be fully covered by Medicaid.
"States are generally prohibited from claiming Federal reimbursement for Medicaid services, other than treatment of an emergency medical condition, provided to certain noncitizens with unsatisfactory immigration status (UIS)," the office said in a statement.
The office explained that California’s Medicaid program gives coverage that goes above Medicaid benefits to illegal aliens.
The Inspector General said that California improperly claimed about $52.7 million in federal medicaid reimbursements.
"California improperly claimed $52.7 million in Federal Medicaid reimbursement because it continued to use the proxy percentage that was developed in the early 2000s without assessing whether the percentage correctly accounted for the costs of providing nonemergency services to noncitizens with UIS under managed care," the IOG stated. "In addition, California did not have any policies and procedures for assessing and periodically reassessing the proxy percentage."
In regard to recommendations for how California could fix the situation, the OIG recommended the state refund the reimbursement to the federal government.
"We acknowledge California’s difficulty in replicating our recalculated proxy percentage and calculated refund amount. By refunding the $52.7 million to the Federal Government using a manual process, the State agency would address our first recommendation," the office said.
House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green, R-Tenn., said last year that Medicaid emergency spending for illegal immigrants more than doubled from fiscal year 2020 to fiscal year 2021. Green said that Medicaid spending on emergency medical services for illegal immigrants went from roughly $3 billion in fiscal year 2020 to over $7 billion in fiscal year 2021.
Earlier this month, the Biden administration published a new rule that would allow thousands of illegal migrants to get healthcare through ObamaCare.
The new rule, according to a White House statement, removes a prohibition on illegal immigrants protected from deportation under the 2012 Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program from accessing healthcare through the Affordable Care Act. It could go into effect as soon as Nov. 1.
The administration estimates that 100,000 uninsured illegal immigrants will be able to access taxpayer-funded health insurance under the rule. The immigrants will be able to apply for coverage through Healthcare.org and state-based marketplaces.

That way the state's taxpayers pay for Newsom's crime. How about if Newsom pays out of his own deep pockets? Better yet, how about if Newsom goes to jail?
And by the way, who was it at who HHS paid those claims? How about if they go to jail too?

Mysterious shooting outside Army Special Forces residence in North Carolina raises questions Two Chechen men who spoke broken English were found near the soldier's home. The family alleges the suspected intruder, 35-year-old Ramzan Daraev of Chicago was taking photos of their children. And that is this: Threats against election officials in the United States of America is domestic terrorism. Terrorism is defined as a threat or violence for a political outcome. That’s what this is. I think the Department of Justice is really ramping up and starting to prosecute. We’re working with law enforcement across the country to really start to address these things. It’s not too little too late."
Officialdom tends to overreact when threats are made.
