[MAIL] An Ohio man has been charged with murder after shooting dead a female Uber driver who had been tricked by scammers into going to his home to collect a package.
The fatal incident, captured on the driver's dashcam, took place in the town of South Charleston, Ohio, on March 25 at around 11:25am.
William Brock, 81, told police he had been receiving fraudulent phone calls from scammers demanding money and had been threatened by them in the weeks leading up to the altercation.
On the day of the shooting, one called him telling him a relative was in jail. They demanded money from him, then placed an order via Uber for someone to collect a package from his house.
The driver was Lo-Letha Hall, 61. She was unaware the man was being targeted, and thought the job was legitimate. When she showed up, Brock shockingly whipped out a gun and demanded she identify who had sent her.

SWATTED by Uber? Hall call 911? No, once the firing subsided, Brock evidently called 911. The police should be talking to Brock's neighbors and relatives. A forensic eval of Hall's phone should be done as well.
In no way excusing Brock's actions, but there could obviously be more to this story.

Liberal DA's & Judges doing race based Catch and Release, need to be sued,
impeached and/or disbarred. Because it is clear they are NOT upholding their Oath of Office and are playing WOKE social politics, instead enforcing the law.

At some point, even Liberals and their politicians will start fearing for their own safety due to these mentally ill deviants out on catch and release. Maybe they'll even demand stiffer punishments or mental health confinements of these violent pre-adult offenders.
However, while we wait until Hell freezes over, or for DC to regain civil and social mental clarity.
Maybe addressing the mental training of youth.
Like age restrictions on computer games filled with Murder, Urban Combat, Grand Theft Auto and violent themes. That mentally teach and steer them to act out as they play, always seeking that next level.
[MAIL] Visitors to a popular rock site at Lake Mead National Park are being tracked by federal authorities after seriously damaging a formation at the Nevada hiking site.
Officials say the damage occurred last weekend on the north side of the lake, where petrified red dunes make it one of the most well-trafficked areas of the park.
A video taken by a witness to the event, shows two men working hard to shove large chunks of loose rock of the edge of an outcropping.
The video was sent to the National Park Service.
A little girl, the daughter of one of the men, stands behind them, horrified, and screaming intermittently as the rocks fall.

[GEO.TV] Colombian capital Bogotá, located at around 2,600 meters (8,500 feet) high in the Andes, is confronting a water crisis that has never occurred in generations, The Guardian reported.
The roasting of El Niño has ignited record-shattering droughts, bringing in the current reservoir that stands on 16%-the driest ever registered.
In the face of this shortage of water, Mayor Carlos Fernando Galán has issued rationing rules, which include bifurcating the city sections and water supply cuts for 24 hours. "But, let"s not waste the water," Galán emphasised that people should decrease the water usage.
“Shower as a couple,” said Galán. “This is an educational exercise in saving water, nothing else. That kind of thing is going to help us a lot. Those behavioural changes are key.”
Some experts say that Bogotá"s water supply could last only 54 days, according to Bogotá"s water supply service to city residents.
Revealing a dilemma between the significance of hygiene for Colombians versus the extent to which these practices will be followed, Mariana García Achury who is a resident of Bogotá also has her doubts regarding this agenda.
Bogotá, like some other metropolitan areas in South America, is facing the consequences of the outbreak of drought. In terms of rationing water, Mexico City was forced to start this plan last month, whereas Guatemala announced a wildfire emergency recently.
The future remains uncertain. Will the measures still be in force long? Is the population prepared for the worst drought scenario possible in Bogotá? Will they be able to plan accordingly to avoid the disaster?
[AP via Post Register] BUNKERVILLE, Nev. (AP) — The words "Revolution is Tradition" stenciled in fresh blue and red paint mark a cement wall in a dry river wash beneath a remote southern Nevada freeway overpass, where armed protesters and federal agents stared each other down through rifle sights 10 years ago.
It was just before noon on a hot and sunny Saturday when backers of cattle rancher Cliven Bundy, including hundreds of men, women and children, made the U.S. Bureau of Land Management quit enforcing court orders to remove Bundy cattle from vast arid rangeland surrounding his modest family ranch and melon farm.
Witnesses later said they feared the sound of a car backfiring would have unleashed a bloodbath. But no shots were fired, the government backed down and some 380 Bundy cattle that had been impounded were set free.
"Since then, we've relatively lived in peace," Ryan Bundy, eldest among 14 Bundy siblings, said in a telephone interview. "The BLM doesn't contact us, talk to us or bother us."
"The BLM does not have any comment on this subject," agency spokesman John Asselin said in response to email inquiries about the standoff, Bundy cattle grazing today in Gold Butte National Monument and the more than $1 million in unpaid grazing fees and penalties the BLM said Bundy owed in 2014.
At the ranch, Cliven Bundy greeted guests this week while cradling one of 74 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren that he has with his wife, Carol Bundy.
"We're all a little bit older," he said, "but we're still doing the same thing: ranching."
Later, watching two of his sons and a friend rope yearling bulls in a pen, the plainspoken and photogenic rancher — who rallied followers through a bullhorn that day saying, "Let's go get those cattle" — recalled being arrested, jailed for nearly two years and brought to a trial that was dismissed due to prosecutorial misconduct.

[Gateway] Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), who happens to be a US Senator and a Doctor of Ophthalmology, released a stunning report on Tuesday where he discovered that 15 different federal agencies knew that the Wuhan laboratory in China was trying to create a COVID-19 virus and they knew this since 2018.
Not one single official or employee in these 15 agencies revealed the truth to the American public during the pandemic. They should all be fired.
Rand Paul announced on Sunday that a brave Lt. Colonel in the Marines stepped forward with the information on the COVID origins. He was the only honest person in 15 agencies brave enough to expose the truth.
On Sunday, Senator Paul joined Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures to discuss this explosive revelation and more.
[BLAZE] Dozens of prominent U.S. and state government officials, advocacy groups, and executives from big tech companies gathered in New York last month to participate in an important simulated election exercise.
The war game exercise imagined a fictional crisis in which AI-generated photos and videos are released on social media immediately before the 2024 election. The images appear to show election officials in Florida dumping ballots, in an apparent attempt to manipulate the election’s outcome.
The simulation also included phone calls to elderly voters in Arizona that featured AI-generated voices. The calls asked elderly voters to stay away from polling centers due to threats from radical militia groups.
More than a dozen former Defense Department officials, generals, and admirals filed a brief with the Supreme Court arguing against former President Donald Trump’s presidential immunity arguments.
It comes as the U.S. Supreme Court is set to hear arguments on the former president’s assertions that he should enjoy immunity from prosecution for activity that he carried out while he was president. The former president invoked that argument after he was accused by federal prosecutors of attempting to illegally overturn the 2020 election results.
The amicus brief’s signatories include former CIA Director Michael Hayden, retired Admiral Thad Allen, retired Gen. George Casey, retired Gen. Charles Krulak, and more.
Holding at 19, but should reach the standard 51 community professionals number by mid-week. Mike Hayden has the lead. Brennan is busy with Obama and ValJar on the Iranian crisis.
