But illegals can have weapons.
[FixNews] Vice President Kamala Harris will travel to Florida on Saturday where she will tout a Biden administration effort to provide "training and technical assistance" to individuals "responsible for implementing laws designed to keep guns out of the hands of people who pose a threat to themselves or others."
To be fair, it’s not as if she has anything better less useless to do.
The new program drew immediate backlash from some Republicans who called the effort a "massive Red Flag Operation." ...not now that she's czarred the border...
The National Extreme Risk Protection Order (ERPO) Resource Center, according to a Saturday Department of Justice press release, will specifically provide assistance to law enforcement officials, prosecutors, attorneys, judges, clinicians, victim service and social service providers, community organizations and behavioral health professionals. They're going to provide assistance to law enforcement officials, prosecutors, attorneys, judges, clinicians, victim service and social service providers, community organizations and behavioral health professionals. Law enforcemnt currently "deals with" the problem. Prosecutors (e.g. Alvin Bragg, etc.) undeal with it by not prosecuting or reducing charges. Judges can then take over and reduce (but not increase) the charges. Clinicians can take an obvious nutball, pronounce him not dangerous, and overrule the lot of them and let them out. Victim service and social service providers? Two words: Rita Fisher. Read it and become incensed. Community organizations? They mean community organizers. When VFW, American Legion, or Disbled Vet of America show up on the list let me know. Behavioral health professionals? Thought they were talking about clinicians. Do they make house calls? I mean, do we really, really need more civil servants? More to the point, do we really, really need a towering bureaucracy of appointees to drive them?
Once, long long ago, when dinosaurs ruled the world, I was feeling low and I went to the VA. I got a nice lady psychologist and she sent me to group therapy sessions at the Baltimore VA. Most of my fellow vets in the group were black, since Baldymore is about three quarters black. All of them had drug problems, most had been at least jailed, if not imprisoned. Some were doing okay; age does take the edge off.
The thing is, all of us had had to walk in. The VA does not come out on the street looking for you. There's no Great Case Manager in the Sky to track all the vets in the neighborhood. Maybe you'll be referred from an emergency room, more likely just told to contact them.
So what happened? Not being stoopid in that direction, I saw that the other guys' problems were worse than a few bad dreams and an occasionally testy temper. The nice lady psychologist retired and I was assigned to a Moslem Pak psychologist. Life is tough. Sometimes you just have to move on.
"ERPO laws, which are modeled off domestic violence protection orders, create a civil process allowing law enforcement, family members (in most states), and medical professionals or other groups (in some states) to petition a court to temporarily prohibit someone at risk of harming themselves or others from purchasing and possessing firearms for the duration of the order," DOJ noted.
That is an attempt by the Leftist judiciary to poison the well. A textual reading of the Constitution says they're not because Congress has by its power of Article 1 said that the militia is composed of male citizens via Title X USC.

You can see where this might go, if a "medical professional" determines that holding certain kinds of political beliefs are symptomatic of danger to others, poof, SWAT arrives, a few folks resist and the proof is created for the Great Unwashed on Tik-Tok that all such persons are dangerous and thus can be deprived of their 2A rights collectively.

[FoxNews] 17-year-old Indiana high schooler Cameron Blasek said you must 'stand for what you believe in'
High school student Cameron Blasek received a patriotic paintjob free of charge for his pickup truck after East Central High School administrators in St. Leon, Indiana attempted to stop him from displaying the American flag earlier this month.
Blasek, 17, proudly displayed an American flag on his truck for most of his senior year, but Blasek said school administrators told him it broke school rules and needed to be removed.
"They had told me if you don't remove this flag, you're getting written up for insubordination. And I told them, hey, you know, there's no rules or regulations saying I can't, I read the [rules] off their handbook."
Soon afterward, other students arrived at school flying American flags on their cars, and the news story went viral.
GCI Digital, a business based out of nearby Cincinnati, heard about Cameron Blasek's patriotic story and decided to spring into action.
The business gifted a brand-new custom American flag wrap to the high school senior, free of charge.
The backdown:
Principal Tom Black told Fox News Digital that the rule "was never about the U.S. flag and it was regarding all flags on vehicles."
After consultation with the Superintendent, however, Black determined the school could allow the U.S. flag while still restricting other flags.
[PJMEDIA] Mike Schmidt is the Multnomah County District Attorney who was bought and paid for by George Soros ...either Ernst Stavro Blofeld or Auric Goldfinger come true... and his ilk. Schmidt is the guy who refused to prosecute hundreds of Antifa ...the armed wing of the Democratic Party... rioters who set Portland on fire in the summer of 2020.
Now, four years later, as election day grows near, Schmidt is having second thoughts on setting free two violent mostly peaceful "protesters" and window-crashers that he gave a pass to during the year of the Summer of Love.
In November 2020, Schmidt dropped ten felony counts against Nicole Noriega and six felonies against Chester Hester.
Reporter Andy Ngo reports that Schmidt has refiled charges against these two layabouts.
The thugs trashed at least ten businesses along Hawthorne Boulevard in November 2020 as part of an anti-Thanksgiving riot thrown by Antifa.
If the voters elect him after he so clearly demonstrated what he’s made of, they deserve what they’ll get.
[PJMEDIA] Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. ‘This Is A Man ThatDoes Not Seem Demented’...
Not too demented anyway. has released a new campaign video with Barack Obama How much damage could he do in four years?... Eight, then... and Nancy San Fran Nan Pelosi Congresswoman-for-Life from the San Francisco Bay Area, born into a family of professional politicians. On-again-off-again Speaker of the House. It's not her fault when they lose, but it's her accomplishment when they win. Noted for her heavily botoxed grimace and occasional senior... uhhh... moments... . Though the video claims to have been recorded live, it hilariously features an insane number of jump cuts, suggesting it actually took multiple takes throughout the recording process to get Biden's performance on the mark.
But, that aside, the video made it quite clear that Joe Biden is so desperate, that he's trying to rehash long-debunked accusations against Trump in the hopes of trying to turn his faltering campaign around.
"This is the guy who doesn't care about science and reason," Biden claims in the video. "Remember, during the pandemic, Donald Trump ...The tack in the backside of the Democratic Party... told us to inject ourselves with bleach. He said there's nothing to worry about if you do that."

Of greater import to me, what has the Biden family got on the Clinton's, Obama's, etc. that is so damning that these powerful ex-Prezes have not yet actuated the Déclic on Mr. Biden?
Good. Does Wyoming make it a majority of states yet?
[THEGATEWAYPUNDIT] Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon signed a bill on Friday that bans doctors from performing "gender transition" and sex change procedures on minors.
Under Senate File 99, any healthcare professional who provides a minor with puberty blockers, hormone therapy, or sex change surgeries will be subject to having their licenses suspended or revoked.
While he signed the bill, the governor did not seem enthusiastic about doing so.
"I signed SF99 because I support the protections this bill includes for children, however it is my belief that the government is straying into the personal affairs of families," Governor Gordon said in a statement about the legislation.
Gordon continued, "Our legislature needs to sort out its intentions with regard to parental rights. While it inserts governmental prerogative in some places, it affirms parental rights in others."
Of course, the American Civil Liberties Union of Wyoming opposes the ban.
"By signing this bill into law, Gov. Gordon has put the government in charge of making vital decisions traditionally reserved for parents in Wyoming," ACLU of Wyoming Executive Director Libby Skarin said in the announcement. "This ban won’t stop Wyomingites from being trans, but it will deny them critical support that helps struggling transgender youth grow up to become thriving transgender adults."

[GEO.TV] United States President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. Old, boring, a plagiarist, fond of hair sniffing and grabbing the protruding parts of women, and not whatcha call brilliant... or is that an act?... , in a fundraiser rally mocked the Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump ...dictatorial for repealing some (but not all) of the diktats of his predecessor, misogynistic because he likes pretty girls, homophobic because he doesn't think gender bending should be mandatory, truly a man for all seasons...... and senator Ted Cruz; ...US Senator from Texas. Republican contender for president in 2016, his stiff and abrasive manner earned him the title most hated man in the Senate. After a close win over Beto O'Rourke, who tried to out-Lastino him, he grew a beard and let his biting wit shine through. Cruz's comments have been known to leave life-threatening wounds at better than forty feet... , calling both "loser".
Biden, 81, made fun of the 77-year-old Trump's debt and how he is unable to raise money, Daily Mail reported.
Addressing the rally on Wednesday, he shared that his campaign was able to raise $53 million in the month of February, while Trump's campaign reported that they raised $10.9 million in February.
During the Dallas fundraiser, which was the first of two Texan fundraisers, Biden announced that he had collected $2.5million for his re-election campaign.
Talking about candidates, he urged donors to support Colin Allred against Cruz.
He said: "You've got to elect Colin as your next senator, so Ted Cruz joins another loser, Donald Trump."
Furthermore, he mocked the former president in front of a crowd of about 100 people for his "crushing debt."

Biden mocks Trump and Cruz in fundraiser rally, calls them 'losers'
[BREITBART] As turmoil continues within the House Republican caucus, former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy ...the GOP house majority leader. His primary accomplishment to date has been first to hold on to power against a conservative revolt and then to order an impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden’s involvement in his son Hunter’s business deals. At that point he lost his job when he was run over by loose cannon Matt Gaetz. This was what's known in the intelligence profession as evidence something or other... (R-CA) appeared on Fox News Channel’s "Jesse Watters Primetime" and weighed in on that turmoil and the decisions his successor, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), is facing.
According to the former Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, politician, the beginning of the end for Republicans came when Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) led his ouster last year.
"Kevin what is going on with the spending and what just happened with Johnson?" host Jesse Watters asked.
"I don’t know what they’re doing spending now, but when I became Speaker, I instituted a 72-hour rule that got not just the members the opportunity to read the bill, but America as well," McCarthy replied. "You’d never waive it unless it’s a Continuing Resolution, something you’re already doing so people would know. I think it’s always helpful to allow people to read the bill, allow America to read the bill. And really, this comes down to what’s happening in Congress today. It goes back to when those eight Republicans led by Gaetz partnered with every single Democrat to decide who could be Speaker. That’s when Republicans lost the majority."
"Jesse, remember what we were able to do in a small majority of the first nine months?" he continued. "The strongest, most conservative border security bill, energy independence. We did a Parents’ Bill of Rights. We stopped DC from decriminalizing. We stopped the pandemic officially. We stopped them from kicking out our men and women in the military who refuse the vaccine. We have the biggest cut in savings voted on American history — more than $2 trillion. We got welfare reform. We cut $20 billion of that from the IRS ...the Internal Revenue Service; that office of the United States government that collects taxes and persecutes the regime's political enemies... that was going to hire to go after us, very successful and you work together with a small majority, and all those bills had 72 hours to read them because people could get behind them."

[GEO.TV] Former president Donald Trump ...Oh, noze! Not him!... has severely crticised New York Attorney General Letitia James as a court in NY has ordered the Republican candidate to pay a hefty amount in damages following allegations of fraud against banks and insurers.
"Arthur Engoron is a Rogue Judge who was intimidated by the big, nasty, and ugly mouth of Leticia James, considered by many to be the WORST Attorney General in the US," Trump said in a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, reported Inquisitr.
"She is a Low IQ individual who campaigned for Governor, using my name, and got TROUNCED."
"She and her PUPPET Engoron, who valued Mar-a-Lago at $18,000,000 when it is worth 50 to 100 times that amount, have destroyed all business prospects for New York State, that is already dying, or dead."
"But have no fear —When I become the 47th President, we will MAKE NEW YORK GREAT AGAIN!"
James has built a reputation for taking down powerful figures. Her recent $355 million fraud win against the ex-president and his sons raises her profile but also fuels accusations of bias.
Regardless of bias claims, she's undeniably achieved major legal victories.
In the first round, maybe. We’ll see if they stand up on appeal, and then if the punishments are ever executed.

Never what I want.
[Regnum] The work was partially suspended by the US federal government due to the cessation of funding reported this on March 23.
It is clarified that the suspension of work (shutdown) of government departments at the federal level occurred at 00:01 on March 23 (07:01 Moscow time).
Moreover, the day before, on March 22, the US House of Representatives approved a series of amendments to the bill providing for the allocation of funds in the amount of about $1.2 trillion. The funds are planned to be used for the work of the main part of federal departments until the end of the 2024 fiscal year (ends in the United States on September 30).
The bill was submitted to the Senate, which had to vote on the document before midnight, before the bill was signed by US President Joseph Biden. But the vote on the bill did not take place due to Republican objections to some amendments.
Democratic Majority Leader Senator Chuck Schumer of New York clarified that during the debate it was possible to reach agreement on the bill. It is expected that voting on the document will take place in the near future.
Earlier, IA Regnum reported that US President Biden on March 1 signed a temporary bill to extend government funding. The law provides for the extension of funding for some federal departments until March 8, others until March 22.
The US House of Representatives on February 29 approved a bill on short-term funding to avoid a federal government shutdown. The document was supported by 320 members of the lower house of Congress, 99 people voted against. The federal government's current temporary funding limits were set to expire on March 1 and March 8.

This was basically a continuing resolution bill with some additions. It passed 74-24 in Senate and 286-134 in House (not what the Regnum says). Biden signed it 23 March about noon.
The bill does not include augmented funding for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan. That will have to done in a separate bill (or 3 separate bills).

The partial shutdown was early am on a Saturday and only affected agencies that don't work on Saturday. By noon on Saturday, Biden had signed the bill and the shutdown was over. Agencies that require work on Saturday were not shut down.

Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
