[TrendingPoliticsNews] Former President Donald Trump’s grip on the Republican National Committee (RNC) has tightened as his favored candidates have clinched key leadership roles. Michael Whatley, who has voiced support for Trump’s disputed voter fraud allegations, has ascended to the top position of national chairman, officially replacing Ronna Romney McDaniel.
A niece of Mitt “Mittens” Romney, she ascended to chair of the Michigan Republican Party in 2015, then to RNC chair in 2017. Unlike her uncle, she actively supported President Trump’s claim of vote fraud following the 2020 election. Perhaps she would have done better than a net loss of eight governors, four senators, and 20 congressmen if she’d had more time to season at the state level.
Meanwhile, Lara Trump, the former president’s daughter-in-law, has stepped into the co-chair position, further embedding Trump’s influence within the RNC.
In February, Ronna McDaniel announced she would resign from office on March 8th, keeping with her promise to step down after the South Carolina primary. At the committee’s spring meeting, McDaniel expressed mixed emotions, saying, "It is a little bit bittersweet to be with all of you here today as I step down as chair after seven years of working with you all." Interesting. I am very happy that demoncrat plant is gone, but this new chair may blow up in their face.... or could be the most awesome thing evah.
Interesting times.
[Tom Klingenstein] Editor’s Note: While the imposition of group outcome equality in universities and corporations has begun to spark outrage among the public, there is one institution that has been imposing quotas far longer and far more comprehensively than any other, but that has largely escaped criticism: the United States military. Will Thibeau, an Army Ranger veteran and director of the American Military Project at the Claremont Institute, takes a deep dive into the logic of the military’s group quota system, and ponders where that logic may lead the rest of the country.
The American Military Project has uncovered an internal Air Force memo from 2022 in which General C.Q. Brown, now President Biden’s chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, directed the service “to develop a diversity and inclusion outreach plan aimed at achieving” set numerical quotas for the racial composition of officer applicant pools. This previously unreported memo is clear evidence that a group quota system is operating in the U.S. military, though Pentagon leadership are exceptionally careful to avoid using the term.

"Revealing" only if you have ignored the realities of service promotion boards over the past 40 years or so. Actual performance has sat 'second chair' to diversity and quotas for nearly as long as I can remember. The rot permeates all services as well as Federal civilian employee hiring and advancement.
So called "minority owned" business contract awarding might be another area to examine, but I digress.
Today's popular term for the practice is DEI (Diversity, equity and inclusion).

If you know the (DEI and pre-selection) game going in, your chances of survival are much better. Fighting the system is a loser. I sought the jobs that nobody else wanted. After a couple of those, you become known by assignment and branch as the "go to" candidate for the remote, hard to fill assignments.
Prestige assignments will always go to the anointed. No godfather, no problem. "Row hard and live." A Top Block OER at the 1426th Mess Kit, is still a Top Block.
Low profile, "back in the rear with the gear," no problemo. Put me in coach, I know the play. Smiling rescue dogs with waggily tails will usually, not always but usually find a good home. "It is, what it is."
Often enough, those are the ones where one can really make a difference, and because one isn’t closely watched, get much more creative about it. That was Mr. Wife’s experience, anyway, though he didn’t set about it deliberately. ;-)

Even before race quotas, if you deliver in the "hard to do well" jobs, more tolerance of your slightly out of bounds tendencies is allowed. As you approach key senior staff assignments after successful 05 command level, the tolerance is gone, even if you have a solid Rabbi chain. The harder look at your GO potential is as much inside-the-family politics as competence. And, learning when to NOT outshine your Senior Rater is a huge factor. Finally, the War College sabbatical has an audition component you never see until afterwards.
The part about being the best Warrior/Leader the system can produce, less and less important these days, consider that history has few examples of winning Generals who cannot be sure of their gender!
[Gateway] Conservatives in Wisconsin are currently looking to recall Assembly Speaker Robin Vos over his ties to China and his complacency with the stolen elections in the state.
Seven thousand total signatures are needed to force a recall election.
A Wisconsin Capitol Source tells The Gateway Pundit that Vos is still blocking fair elections to stop President Trump in 2024. Vos even stated in 2022 that he would work "as hard as I can to make sure Donald Trump is not the Nominee."
Of course, he failed. Trump is well on his way to the General Election.
Joe Hoft reported last July that Vos spoke about Democracy at the EU, representing the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) on the 6th. How ironic after the actions he took in protecting the stolen election in his state in 2020.
He has also won his elections in Racine, Wisconsin, by extremely close margins and under corrupt circumstances. Recall that On November 4, 2021, Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmaling recommended charges against five members of the Wisconsin Election Commission (WEC) for committing voter fraud in Wisconsin nursing homes by casting votes for incapacitated or mentally incompetent patients, who otherwise wouldn’t have voted lawfully, while Special Voting Deputies were deemed nonessential under the COVID guidelines and barred from nursing homes to do the job of securing voting rights and preventing elder abuse. Meanwhile, other "essential workers" like food delivery and different first-world service providers were allowed into the buildings.
[Townhall] In the spring of 2023, the so-called "Rail Safety Act" was introduced in Congress with the alleged purpose of improving freight rail safety. To 'do something' after the East Palestine derailment and vinyl chloride burn-off.
Despite its high-minded stated purpose, in reality it’s a Big Labor gift bag whose substance is costly, counterproductive and impractical.
The bill proposes a litany of new regulations, notably including mandatory new increased crew size requirements. Never mind that for years rail industry safety statistics have improved during a period of decreasing crew sizes due to safety measures that the industry has been implementing on its own.
In March 2023, the Association of American Railroads (AAR) released data proving exactly that point. Specifically, thanks to U.S. railroad’s commitment to safety and industry investments, train accident rates have dropped 28 percent since 2000, marking the last decade as its safest ever. The accident rate for Class I railroads, including CSX, Union Pacific, and BNSF, is down 49 percent since 2000, including a 63 percent drop in casualty rate per Class I railroad employee. One supposes the AAR would make this information available to Mayor Pete,
Last year, for instance, Transportation Communications Union/IAM (TCU) President Don Grissom attempted to scapegoat freight rail following a tragic accident in Ohio. He claimed that freight rail failed to invest in an "automatic safety warning system" that cautions workers of oncoming trains.
The problem? That technology does not actually exist.
What does exist is a comprehensive array of operating rules to prevent incidents from occurring and to keep employees and communities safe.
According to its trade group, the freight rail industry collectively averages a staggering $23 billion a year in private investment into their networks. As just one illustration, in March of 2023, Jacksonville, Florida, based CSX announced that it was proactively installing an additional 53 hot bearing detectors across their network to better enable the railroad to detect overheated wheel bearings before accidents occur. Once CSX finishes that installation effort, it indicated those detectors will be in place every 14 to 15 miles along their routes. IIRC, there was such a detector on the NS line near the East Palestine, Ohio disaster and the train was responding to the warning when the axle burned off. Two days later, local fire chief and the EPA agreed to the burn-off, which was the "environmental disaster" in all the headlines.
If and when "automatic warning system" technology is introduced, the rail industry’s previous record of investments demonstrate that freight rail companies will be the first in line to voluntarily fold it into their safety strategy. In the meantime, enlarging government bureaucracies and falsely maligning the rail industry will only make matters worse, not better.
[BREITBART] Hollywood star Robert De Niro is panicking at the prospect of former President Donald Trump ...The man who was so stupid he beat fourteen professional politicians, a former tech CEO, and a brain surgeon for the Republican nomination in 2016, then beat The Smartest Woman in the World in the general election... winning in November and reclaiming the White House, predicting that Trump “will come looking for me.”
Robert De Niro voiced his paranoid fantasy during a Friday appearance on HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher.
“If he wins the election, you won’t be on the show anymore. He’ll come looking for me. There’ll be things that happen that none of us can imagine,” De Niro said. “Human sacrifice! Dogs and cats living together! Mass hysteria!”

Forget the JFK files. I'd like to see Jeffrey Epstein's "guest list". Both Clintons would be no surprise, but I suspect that might get too close to home for Trump as well.
[THEGATEWAYPUNDIT] A woke social media "influencer" is going viral. But not for the reason she intended.
In a recent video, she discusses Agenda 47 and the "terrifying" things that President Trump will do if he returns to the White House.
Here are the first 15 promises he will make if he is reelected. You may have heard of Project 2025, but this is from Agenda 47, and you can read all of these on his website.
First, he promises that he will carry out the largest domestic deportation operation in history.
He will also ask for the death sentence ...the barbaric practice of sentencing a murderer to be punished for as long as his/her/its victim is dead... for anyone convicted of human trafficking.
He will close the Department of Education and return all education standards to the states to decide.
He will put prayer back into school and he will criminalize any race-based advantage programs.
He will end the Affordable Care Act.
He will ban gender-affirming care for adults and children and he will ban any federal dollars from going towards gender-affirming care. Which means anyone with government provided healthcare will no longer be able to access gender-affirming care except for Viagra and Sialis, those will still be available.
He will propose a constitutional amendment that gives a term limit to Congress.
He will deploy the Department of Justice to investigate the Biden crime family and any of his adversaries or political rivals.
He will immediately pardon all of the January 6ers and he will create a task force to investigate anyone who arrested, charged or imprisoned a January 6er.
He will increase the penalties for underage criminal offenders, strengthen immunity for coppers and deploy the National Guard to patrol woke cities.
One day one, he will reassess our participation in NATO ...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. It's headquartered in Belgium. That sez it all.... and says that every European country needs to pay the United States for protection.
He will also restore the wonderful travel ban on Moslems coming to America.
He will build Freedom Cities...this is ten new cities built on federal land...he will award them to areas with the best development proposals and he will prioritize moving young families to these Freedom Cities.
He will kill all E-vehicles and E-vehicle legislation seeking to replace that with the development of a flying car...he believes that we could create a car that vertically takes off.
He will remove all of the limits on American natural gas exports and drill baby drill for oil domestically.
He will impose a tariff of up to 60% on Chinese imports.
He will extend the 2017 tax cuts and drop the corporate tax rate from 21% to 15%.
He will push Congress to pass legislation that would give every American the right to concealed carry anywhere at any time and he will revoke any gun restrictions or legislation that seeks to inhibit people’s ability to own guns that’s been passed in the last several years.
He will demand that Europa ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... pay back all of the money we gave Ukraine and then he will use all of that money to recruit for the American military.
And he will take billions and billions of dollars from private university endowments by taxing, fining and suing the universities, he specifically names Harvard in this one, and then he will use that money to create the American Academy. It is a free online college that will be free of wokeness that he will force employers to recognize as a bachelor’s degree equivalent.
So, that’s Agenda 47. Only point of disagreement I have is Ukraine.

This old foto is an example of what you could begin to realize if Trump wins the white house.

Wouldn't it be something if "they" don't rig the presidential election but instead rig the Congressional seats up for grabs? That way, Trump wouldn't get much of anything with a Dem-controlled Congress. It's bad enough now with the RINOs there now.

...I would respectfully suggest that he repurpose the Department of Education.
Take away the standards bureaucracy and turn it into a infrastructure support agency: need buses? A new gym? A couple of bodies for the cafeteria? THAT'S who to go to if the districts need help. Stop paying for the administrators by taking away the Federal requirements/necessity for them.

There is the theory that this is what happened in the 2018 mid-terms, and even more aluminum foil posits that Republican leadership was in on it so Congress no longer had to come up with excuses to not do Trump premier policies, such as Secure Border.
In retrospect, in theory, if the voting system is going to be tampered with President vote, why not just do that for the rest of the ballet? Federal Ticket, State Ticket, Local Ticket. eg, Newsome Recall.
At that point, its like you've already bought the car, so what's a couple more dollars for heated seats?
