[Breitbart] The Communist Chinese government has been flooding the United States with illicit gun parts as part of a "Disintegration Warfare" strategy it is employing against America aimed at tearing the country apart from the inside, according to a blockbuster new book by Breitbart News Senior Contributor Peter Schweizer.
In Blood Money: Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans, Schweizer reveals how Chinese companies, which are heavily regulated by the Chinese government, are flooding the U.S. with auto sear switches, a small metal device also known as "Glock switches" that can convert handguns into machine guns. They are illegal for most gun-owners in the U.S., but are being shipped in boxes by the "thousands" from China, Schweizer reveals.
As with fentanyl, the Chinese government is sending the auto sear switches to sow chaos and death inside the U.S. as part of a "Disintegration Warfare" strategy, according to Schweizer.
The "Disintegration Warfare" strategy, Schweizer writes, "focuses on—in the Chinese leaders’ words—going after the United States’ ’soft underbelly’ in terms of politics, economics, and the spirit and psychology of [its] people." It is based on the ancient Chinese strategist and general Sun Tzu’s teachings on how to win a war without fighting. The strategy is aimed at undermining a rival country’s "national will, values, and cohesion."
BLUF: [MAIL] Furthermore, a recruitment target might be threatened with blackmail in an emergency – signs he was preparing to go to the FBI, for example – but it's rarely used to compel cooperation.
John Sipher, a 28-year veteran of the CIA's National Clandestine Service, said that there is not enough information available to know for sure whether a foreign intelligence service was behind the brothel operation, but based on what's been disclosed so far it's likely.
'You've got high level officials with access to secrets who may have been filmed having sex with a prostitute, and are at high risk of manipulation or coercion.
'The FBI would be criminally negligent if it hasn't already opened a counterintelligence investigation,' Sipher said. Could this be the real reason for the massive influx of illegals, the Trump indictments and the war in Ukraine? Is there a Jeffrey Epstein component ?
The brothels were raided in November and prosecutors said they were looking to charge 28 people in Massachusetts alone.
Han Lee, the alleged mastermind, Junmyung Lee, 30, and James Lee, 68 – all South Korean-born U.S. nationals – were charged in November with running the sex ring. The three Lees are not related.
Han and Junmyung both live in the Boston area, where four of the brothels were located. James lives in Torrance, a suburb of Los Angeles.
Members of Congress, military officers, and national security contractors who 'possessed security clearances' were among the steady customers at the 'high-end brothels' run by the ring, prosecutors say.

Americans can't even organize a brothel for elites without foreign involvement?
Grom, I think you must understand how crooked American politicians are but I'm not sure you grasp just how stupid they are.

^ So true Merc. But thankfully, the last of the JFK assassinatiin docs will be released soon.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] A transgender cat killer will serve at least 24 years in a male jail for murdering a BMW engineer she randomly targeted as part of a warped sexual fantasy inspired by a Netflix documentary.
Scarlet Blake's own defence lawyer admitted his client was so dangerous no parole board would ever feel it was safe to release her back into society.
The 26-year-old smashed a vodka bottle over Jorge Martin Carreno's head, strangled him then pushed the Spaniard into Oxford's River Cherwell, where he drowned.
Four months earlier, Blake had livestreamed herself killing a neighbour's cat and placing its body in a blender.
Blake, whose parents are respected doctors, targeted the 30-year-old BMW worker as he walked home from a night out in Oxford on July 24, 2021 – the first Saturday night after Covid restrictions were eased.
She had been prowling the city's streets wearing a military-style hooded jacket, and carrying a rucksack containing a 'murder kit' complete with a garrotte and leopard print dressing gown cord.
Blake got away with Mr Carreno's murder for two years before her ex-partner Ashlynn Bell tipped off police.
She was convicted last week after a three-week trial. The judge also imposed concurrent two and four-month sentences relating to the killing of the cat.
A source confirmed Blake, who was given puberty blockers when she was 17
…almost a decade ago…
and started to received hormone treatment when she was 18, would serve her sentence in a male prison.
Blake had carried out the horrific crimes as a way to impress her US-based online girlfriend, Ashlynn Bell, her trial heard.
“You decided to kill someone because you believed Ashlynn Bell would find it sexually exciting, as in fact she did. As you later said to another partner, you killed ‘because my lover said it’d be hot,'” the judge noted in his sentencing remarks.
“There was, therefore, a clear sexual motivation for the killing.”
[Breitbart] Fox News host Mark Levin said Sunday on his show "Life, Liberty & Levin" that Breitbart News Senior Contributor Peter Schweizer’s new book Blood Money: Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans was "jaw-dropping."
Levin said, "A journalist who uncovers really seedy muck in our government and by certain populations. And Peter Schweizer. And it’s always an honor to have Peter on the program as an exclusive guest when he has a new book coming out. He doesn’t just put out books. He his books, his team does an enormous amount of research. They back it up with facts and footnotes, and it’s always jaw dropping."
He continued, "His new book, "Blood Money Why the Powerful Turned a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans" is stunning. It’s stunning in the breadth to which communist China owns our government. It’s stunning in the extent to which it affects our society. It is stunning by the fact that we have a president, the United States, and a family. As Peter has reported before, that basically has taken tens of millions of dollars from this government, which I think is one of the reasons why they don’t stand up to communist China."
Levin asked, "Let’s start with China’s foot soldiers, China’s foot soldiers in America. What do you mean by that?"

What's truly jaw dropping is our continued feign that this is all shocking news. Easier to continue fooling ourselves and perhaps things will fix themselves. Just too darn busy with all these White supremacists.

[CNN Business] Dr. Ruth Gottesman, 93, who spent 55 years as the chair of the school’s board, made the historic donation in the name of her late husband, David "Sandy" Gottesman, who was an early investor of Berkshire Hathaway and a longtime friend of Berkshire’s famed CEO Warren Buffett.
Philip Ozuah, president and CEO of Montefiore Medicine, the school’s parent company, announced the "transformational gift" on Monday, saying that "this is the largest donation to any medical school in the country."
Sandy Gottesman, who was the co-founder of New York-based investment firm First Manhattan Co., died in 2022.
The Gottesmans had long been involved in health care philanthropy. In 2010, their gift of $25 million to the Albert Einstein College of Medicine went towards creating the school’s Institute for Stem Cell Research and Regenerative Medicine. Sandy Gottesman also served on the board of New York’s Mount Sinai Hospital.
"I am very thankful to my late husband, Sandy, for leaving these funds in my care, and l feel blessed to be given the great privilege of making this gift to such a worthy cause," said Dr. Ruth Gottesman in a news release.

[FOXNEWS] A woman in Ireland lost a more than $800,000 in an injury lawsuit stemming from a car crash after photos showed her launching a Christmas tree during a post-holiday competition — and winning the event.
Kamila Grabska, 36, sued an insurance agency in the country, RSA Insurance, after a 2017 car crash she claimed caused her debilitating neck and back pain that prevented her from holding down a job for five years, the Irish Independent reported. Grabska is a mom of two from the town of Ennis in County Clare, Irish media reports.
The car accident was the result of someone hitting Grabska’s car from the rear, and allegedly left her unable to carry her young children or complete household chores. She quit her job shortly after, received disability payments and argued that her previous and future lost income totaled more than $500,000, according to the Telegraph.
Newspaper reports, however, soon surfaced of Grabska competing in a Christmas tree-throwing event on Jan. 8, 2018, nearly a year after the accident supposedly left her with "disabling" pain." The Irish High Court reviewed a photo of Grabska launching a tree, which the judge, Carmel Stewart, described as a "very graphic picture," according to the Telegraph.
The competition involves people throwing roughly 5-foot spruce trees as far as they are able.

[Hot Air] WEIRTON, West Virginia -- Most people in this town will tell you they'd rather have taken a physical punch to the gut than get the news they received yesterday when Cleveland-Cliffs Steel announced it was idling its tinplate production plant, a move that directly cost 900 people their jobs.
It isn't just those workers who face catastrophic uncertainty; this closure also jeopardizes the jobs of thousands more people whose businesses supported the plant: the barber shops, gas stations, mom-and-pop grocery stores, the machine shops that make the widgets for the steel industry. And there's also the demise of the tax base, which affects the school district and the quality of the roads.
Thirty years ago, more than 10,000 people worked here at Weirton Steel. Now, the last 900 workers left have just lost their jobs.
"It's just another scar to add on what people in power have done to our lives and our community over the past 40 years," said one employee who declined to give his name, adding, "Honestly, how many times does this story have to be told before someone in power cares about our lives."
The DC Swamp long history deficit spending habits and resulting inflation, wage increases and 1000's of new taxes has made using US production and labor cost prohibitive.
BTW: Regarding NAFTA.
Remember 1 of the KEY items it was sold to the USA Citizens was it would stem the flow of Illegals, as it would provide employment in those countries.

I worked for Nucor Steel for several years in the 90s. At the time steel production had moved out of the rust belt into rural areas. That was before everything manufactured had to be made in China. To me it looks like Cleveland-Cliffs is a company that will start up or shutdown on the margins of industrial production trends. Perhaps, they just need a dose of Trump economic growth.

On February 26, 2024, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan celebrated his anniversary. He is 70 years old. Erdogan received his first serious political position in 1994, when he became mayor of Istanbul. At that time he said: “Whoever takes Istanbul will take all of Turkey!” The words turned out to be prophetic.
[USA Today/AP, hat tip to Dallas Morning News] Inflation has changed the way many Americans shop. Now, those changes in consumer habits are helping bring down inflation. Or, at least the rate of inflation
Fed up with prices that remain about 19%, on average, above where they were before the pandemic, consumers are fighting back. In grocery stores, they’re shifting away from name brands to store-brand items, switching to discount stores or simply buying fewer items like snacks or gourmet foods. "19%, on average", you say? I wonder what items went into the 'average'. More Americans are buying used cars, too, rather than new, forcing some dealers to provide discounts on new cars again. But the growing consumer pushback to what critics condemn as price-gouging has been most evident with food as well as with consumer goods like paper towels and napkins. And electric vehicles. Consumers speak louder than the Green New Deal.
Many consumers have reacted like Stuart Dryden, who lives in Arlington, Virginia. On a recent trip to his regular grocery store, Dryden pointed out big price disparities between Kraft Heinz-branded products and their store-label competitors, which he now favors. Life is choices, Stuart. Why'd you wait so long to save money?
Dryden has taken other steps to save money: A year ago, he moved into a new apartment after his previous landlord raised up his rent by about 50%. His former apartment had been next to a relatively pricey grocery store, Whole Foods. Now, he shops at a nearby Amazon Fresh and has started visiting the discount grocer Aldi every couple of weeks. Adam Smith's 'invisible hand' at work. Hurray, capitalism!

The inflation rate is slowing means that Joe is destroying us at a slower rate. Metaphorically, consumers have learned to take showers in the middle of the night.

When I was at business school, we read endless cases that included the phrase, "Company X manufactured products for it own brand and also for the private label market." The brand names are the same as the store label.

In reality, Tom, what Company X provides is generally not the manufactured product in a private label package, but use of their equipment and skilled workers that would otherwise be sitting idle. The formulae and raw materials are provided by the private label, and may differ markedly from what goes into the brand product.

And ironically, when the cheaper private label product made with Company X's equipment and labor cuts into their sales, they can't just stop, because what the contracting private label pays is real money too.

[Ynet] Israeli military manufacturer Elbit Systems announced on Monday that it has been awarded a contract worth an eye-popping $600 million to supply systems to Hanwha Defense Australia for the Australian Land 400 Phase 3 Project.
According to a statement, the project, which will span over five years, "aims to deliver advanced protection, fighting capabilities and sensors suite to the Redback Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFV) for the Australian Army."
[Guardian] More women may be psychopaths than previously thought, says expert. Dr Clive Boddy says assessment skews towards obvious male traits but female psychopathy is more subtle.
Not really subtle, no. But different — we all know about that toxic woman in the office, or someone’s horribly manipulative mother.
When it comes to a typical psychopath, the suited and booted Patrick Bateman from the novel American Psycho might spring to mind, but, according to one expert, the number of women with the neuropsychiatric disorder could be far greater than previously thought.
Scientists assume that women are sweet angels? Utterly adorable.
Psychopaths are generally considered to lack empathy and guilt, exhibit antisocial behaviour, lie frequently and be ruthless, narcissistic and manipulative.
“Psychopaths are after money, power and control,” said Dr Clive Boddy, from Anglia Ruskin University, who is an expert on psychopaths in the corporate world.
While the idea of psychopaths as violent, antisocial criminals has given way to a more nuanced view – with Boddy among those to argue they are often found in big business – the idea that they are mostly male has remained.
“The behaviour of female psychopaths seems to be subtle enough and less obvious than male psychopaths and therefore they’re not recognised as much,” Boddy said.
“A small but mounting body of evidence describes female psychopaths as prone to expressing violence verbally rather than physically, with the violence being of a relational and emotional nature, more subtle and less obvious than that expressed by male psychopaths,” he noted, adding that may include spreading rumours and lies for personal advantage.
Boddy said one problem was that part of the assessment used to identify psychopaths – known as the Levenson self-report psychopathy scale (LSRP) – was skewed towards identifying the disorder in men.
That, he said, was because while the first part of the assessment looked at how emotionally detached, selfish, uncaring and manipulative a person was, the second part – which covered the psychopathic lifestyle – focused on violence and antisocial behaviour.
“The secondary element, and the measures for it, were largely based on studies of criminals who were in jail at the time and psychopathic – so the feeling is, among researchers these days, that those measures are just not suited to identifying female psychopathy.”
There had also been fewer studies looking at psychopathy in women than in men, he said, and assessors may be reluctant to label women as psychopaths.
Some estimates have suggested there could be a 10:1 ratio of male to female psychopaths, but Boddy’s work, using only the first part of the LSRP, suggested the figures were very different.
“It’s almost one to one,” Boddy said, although he noted large-scale studies of randomly chosen adults would be needed to get a more definitive picture.
Boddy, who is due to give a talk on female psychopaths at the Cambridge festival next month, said that while an estimated 1% of men were psychopaths, the diagnosis sat at one end of a spectrum.
“Estimates [using the first part of the LSRP suggest] there are about 23% of men who, although they’re not categorically psychopathic, have enough of the traits to be problematic for society,” he said.
Boddy’s own research, based on surveys of white-collar workers, suggested such traits were not uncommon in females. “Around 12% to 13% of females have enough of those traits to be potentially problematic,” he said.
