[Hot Air] Roughly a year ago, the federal government established a fund intended to aid the civilian population of Afghanistan following Joe Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from the country and the subsequent takeover by the Taliban. More than $3.5 billion was placed in the fund, transferred from frozen assets previously controlled by the Afghan government. It seemed like a productive and charitable way to handle the money at the time. But now, more than a year later, a government watchdog group has discovered that none of the money has been distributed to aid the people of Afghanistan and there are no safeguards in place to prevent the Taliban from taking the money for themselves. To put it mildly, this is no way to run an airline.

In the propaganda clip, Houthi commandos entered a mock town of three home-like tents. They then entered one of the tents, shooting at a poster of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu before ripping it down and stomping on it.
Also inside were a pair of men dressed in ultra-Orthodox garb, apparently as a caricature of Jews. The two raised their hands and were taken by the soldiers before they eventually blew up the mockup.
There did not appear to be any purpose to the exercise beyond public relations, with Israel located some 1,700 kilometers (1,056 miles) away from the Yemeni border.

The Hamas cells in Denmark, Germany and Holland, were arrested in December on suspicion of plotting to attack Jewish targets in Europe.
According to a statement released Saturday by the Prime Minister’s Office, the Mossad and Shin Bet intelligence agencies, together with foreign partners, have been able to build a "comprehensive and in-depth" picture of Hamas efforts to carry out attacks in Europe.
Israel has uncovered "details on theaters of operation, terror targets, and those involved in carrying out attacks — from Hamas commanders in Lebanon until the last of the attackers in the operational infrastructure," the statement says.
The network was planning to attack Israel’s embassy in Sweden, buy UAVs, and utilize criminal organizations in Europe to support attacks, according to the Prime Minister’s Office.

White House employees and staff from more than two dozen federal agencies are set to strike on Tuesday
The anonymous internal cabal calls itself 'Feds United for Peace'
The walk out will mark 100 days of Israel's siege on Gaza, which has killed upwards of 23,000 people, mostly civilians
It comes amid growing internal resentment toward the Biden administration's handling of the Middle East crisis
I think them walking off the job is a brilliant idea. It will identify those stupid enough to think their opinion matters to their employers, and will reduce the amount of harmful work being done by this administration.
The walk out is a drastic departure from how top federal employees have shown their disapproval toward White House policy in the past, which was typically reserved to media leaks or public resignations over policy.
But the organizers, who have remained anonymous, say they are intent on changing direction from within, and they expect 'easily hundreds' of staffers to join their efforts on Tuesday.
They say they have commitments from people inside 22 federal agencies for the strike, including from the Executive Office of the President, the National Security Agency, Homeland Security, Defense Department, and the FDA.
The Biden administration has so far sent upwards of $14 billion to Israel alongside significant military support.

Reports in the Hindi media claim that he has made big revelations during the investigation that key locations that they wanted to target were: Ahmedabad, Gandhi Nagar, Surat, and Vadodara.
Shahnawaz Alam has confessed that they wanted to carry out blasts at Gujarat's BJP headquarters, RSS headquarters, Vishwa Hindu Gay Pareehad headquarters, High Court, District Court, universities, temples, mosques, Jewish places of worship, railway stations, and crowded markets.
Using rented bikes and scooters, they surveyed areas like Bohra Mosque, Dargah, Mazar of Ahmedabad, Dargah, and Sabarmati Ashram and recorded the places through their camera.
Alam has reportedly told the investigation agency that, acting on the instructions of his handler Abu SLearned Elders of Islamn, and in collaboration with his associates Rizwan Ali and Imran, the group aimed to target Ahmedabad, Vadodara, and Surat. The motive behind these attacks, as revealed by Alam, was to retaliate against the Godhra riots in Gujarat, the home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to reports.
The snuffies arrived in Ahmedabad in January 2023, where they extensively documented various sites, including railway stations, cinema halls, universities, VIP and VVIP routes, politicians' houses, crowded markets, mosques, and historic landmarks like Sabarmati Ashram.
Then they moved to Gandhinagar, surveying the RSS office, VHP office, BJP office, Gujarat High Court, and District Sessions Court. Thereafter, they proceeded to Vadodara, conducting surveillance on the District Court, Civil Court, and Railway Station, the reports added.
Subsequently, the snuffies headed to Surat, capturing pictures of the Jewish Center and conducting reconnaissance at prominent temples, including Heera Bazaar, District Court, and the ISKCON Temple.
Upon returning to Mumbai, the snuffies compiled a comprehensive presentation, including photographs and videos of potential targets, which was forwarded to Abu SLearned Elders of Islamn. Notably, dozens of bomb-making photographs were discovered on Shahnawaz Alam's mobile phone.
Shahnawaz, also known as Shafi Ujjama, was a runaway listed on the NIA's most wanted. A reward of Rs 3 lakh was offered for his capture. In October, he and two accomplices were apprehended during joint operations conducted by the NIA, Delhi Police, and Pune Police.
Shahnawaz was a key figure in the Pune ISIS module case and had previously escaped police custody in Pune. Following his escape, he had been hiding in Delhi until his arrest.
A trained engineer, Shahnawaz first came to attention when two individuals, initially apprehended for cycle of violence theft in Pune, disclosed his involvement. Initially dismissed as common thieves, further interrogation revealed their ties to ISIS as part of a sleeper cell. Subsequently, the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad.

[WallStreetPR - FoxNews] Top Iran experts in the U.S. and in Israel are warning President Biden that his administration’s strategy of de-escalation and containment targeting the world’s worst state-sponsor of terrorism – the Islamic Republic of Iran – has failed and America needs to reestablish deterrence against Tehran as fears of the regime obtaining a nuclear device grow.
Alarming reports about Iran moving at an astonishingly fast pace to possess a nuclear weapon have emerged since last month.
In December, Reuters reported that a confidential IAEA report released to member states said it had “increased its production of highly enriched uranium, reversing a previous output reduction from mid-2023.” Reuters also said in its report “that Iran is enriching to up to 60%, close to the roughly 90% that is weapons grade, at its Pilot Fuel Enrichment Plant (PFEP) in its sprawling Natanz complex and at its Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant (FFEP), which is dug into a mountain.”
In a report titled “How quickly could Iran make nuclear weapons today?” published earlier this month by David Albright, a physicist and founder and president of the Institute for Science and International Security, stated, “The long pole in the tent of building nuclear weapons is essentially complete. Iran can quickly make enough weapon-grade uranium for many nuclear weapons, something it could not do in 2003.” Albright said Iran had a “crash nuclear weapons program” up until 2003, which it then changed to a “more dispersed nuclear weapons effort.”
In his report, Albright, a former U.N. weapons inspector in Iraq, wrote, “Today, it would need only about a week to produce enough for its first nuclear weapon. It could have enough weapon-grade uranium for six weapons in one month, and after five months of producing weapon-grade uranium, it could have enough for 12.”
Asked by Fox News Digital about Iran’s nuclear ambitions, a State Department spokesperson said, “As the President and the Secretary have made clear, the United States will ensure one way or another that Iran will never obtain a nuclear weapon. We continue to use a variety of tools in pursuit of that goal, and all options remain on the table. As the Secretary has said, we always prefer diplomacy to achieve that goal, but given Iran’s nuclear escalations and its failure to cooperate with the IAEA [International Atomic Energy Agency], unfortunately we are far away from anything like that right now.”
Gabriel Noronha, a former U.S. Department State adviser on Iran, told Fox News Digital, “Biden’s hope has been to bribe Iran not to advance its nuclear program through economic concessions and non-enforcement of sanctions. Iran advanced its nuclear program anyway and pocketed the extra revenue from oil sales to increase funding to its terror proxies. We have had zero wins on the Iran file in the past three years, but seen their strength return from their weakened state during the policy of maximum pressure.”

[Ynet] Despite Hezbollah trying to distance itself from healthcare workers killed by IDF fire in southern Lebanon, mourners raise terror group's flags at funerals
The funerals of two Lebanese medics, who were killed in IDF strikes, were held on Friday in southern Lebanon. The images that came from the funerals may strengthen the claim that the slain "medics" are members of Hezbollah.
At both funerals, the yellow flags of Hezbollah were displayed and the speeches that were given were similar in their wording to the speeches given at the funerals of Hezbollah members who were killed during the war.
Hezbollah attempted to obscure the identity of the two medics, Ali Mahmoud al-Sheikh Ali and Sajd Ramzi Qassem, on Thursday evening by reporting at the time that they were two medical personnel from the Islamic Health Organization.
The organization was founded by Hezbollah in 1984 and deals with health services, medicine and psychological counseling. The photos of the two were published on the pages of the terrorist organization on social media, but Hezbollah insignia was absent from the photos.
Additionally, IDF Arabic Spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Avichay Adraee posted on Thursday evening the invitation that was distributed for the funeral of one of the medics. Adraee presented two versions of the invitation and claimed that it was first posted bearing the symbol of Hezbollah, and then it was deleted and an invitation to the funeral was distributed with the symbol of the Islamic Health Organization.
Adraee wrote in Arabic, "What is Hezbollah trying to hide about the 'civilians' who were allegedly killed while staying at a medical center in southern Lebanon? What is Hezbollah trying to hide about their identity or the role of this medical center?"
At the funerals held on Friday, the organizational affiliation of the two seemed apparently clear. At the funeral of Sajd Ramzi Qasem, which took place in the town of Ayta al-Shab, the Hezbollah symbol was added to his photos. At the funeral of Ali Mahmoud al-Sheikh Ali, which took place in the town of Rashaf, residents could be seen waving the picture of the slain medic alongside Hezbollah flags.
This serves as a reminder of the appreciation that Hezbollah operatives in southern Lebanon are given in various institutions, including schools, and even when those killed and presented as innocent civilians. More often than not, it may be that terrorist operatives have assimilated into the civilian population.
