[BLAZE] For a nation to survive, it must prefer its own culture, traditions, language, history, and folkways above any other. Liberalism strips all of that away.
The clash in Gaza has created a crisis of faith for many of those in the West who have dedicated themselves to the liberal project. While the actual conflict is centered many thousands of miles away, a mixture of ideological fanaticism and hubris has convinced most Western nations to import large populations who have carried their centuries-old feud into their new host countries.
[WIRE] One of the many remarkable things about activists who want to remake society, and invert every hierarchy that civilization has ever had in the name of "equity," is how aggressive and totally unflinching they are. They don’t ask permission, they just do it. And they do it in such great numbers, in so many different areas, that it’s impossible to even keep track of them. Even if you object to their project, as most people do, there’s no way to keep yourself fully informed about what’s happening, simply because of the scale of the whole operation.
Here’s a recap, which is nowhere near exhaustive. In just the last couple of months, we’ve learned that the LAPD is relaxing its standards for new officers in order to recruit fewer white males.
We’ve heard that the San Francisco school board will lower entrance requirements, and that the Regents Exam in New York will soon be optional for high school graduates. (As the New York Times put it, "The test had once been seen as a hallmark of academic rigor, but high-stakes graduation tests have fallen out of favor nationally.")
We’ve also been informed that the law school admission test, the LSAT, will drop its challenging "logic games" section, supposedly to help blind applicants.

Dare anyone to even mention the massive disconnection of black culture from traditional American standards, as a possible consideration as a partial motive for destroying meritocracy in business and government? If your need to dismiss competence in educational achievement as being "acting white", dismissing it as a form of alternative tribal pride, then you need to alter the standards of the prevailing culture to gain access to economic success with lesser skills and motivation.
Certainly, when standards appear to be discriminating, even when applied fairly, they must be lessened in order to avoid facing the cost of being outside traditional American culture and norms!

I believe it was Dale who pointed out car insurance is going to go through the roof with legal pot. Now, that stoner who collides with you will probably either be "unemployed" or "on disability." So, buy that expensive full-tort, uninsured driver policy.

I smelled the cheap Mexican pot in the 1970s and these days it's common to get a whiff of the new "super potent" marijoochi. Just yesterday I caught a whiff in a Home Depot parking lot. They don't have to be discreet about it anymore. They tell me it smells different than it did in the old days because now it's so much more potent. But I'm not sure it's just the potency. The way the new stuff smells makes me wonder if it's even the same drug.
Would Democrats do such a thing? I wouldn't put it past them.

[ZH] At what appears to be a culturally enriched children’s birthday gathering in some American city — Chicago, possibly, or Atlanta; it doesn’t really matter because the "urban" culture has been synthesized and exported by the media machine from coast to coast — a pair of children, one apparently 7 or 8 in an Air Jordan t-shirt and the other looking not a day over 3 in an Air Jordan track suit, can be seen waving (fake) cash and (probably fake, but let’s not give the parents the benefit of the doubt) guns in the same manner that can be seen in damn near every rap video from the last twenty years. I would hesitate in calling Black Culture, Woke Culture. Two different things. They might overlap in some areas, but two distinct different things.
I would even hesitate in calling this Black Culture. I think it would be more appropriate to call it Black Inner City Culture, or Urban Black Culture. I know too many blacks who would look down on this. Other words, this is not universal in black culture.

Hey, suppose we replace all the air traffic controllers with AI chatbots? Forward into the Future!
Obviously safety is a concern, but the chatbots do not need to be perfect. They just need to kill fewer people than humans do. Besides as the system runs, it will accumulate training data from 'incidents'.
