[AFRICANEWS] Fears of a repeat of a genocide in Darfur, a region in western Sudan ...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans... , are mounting.
The European Union ...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing... condemned Sunday "ethnic cleansing" of Darfur's Masalit people by the RSF paramilitary.
The bloc cited reports that over 1,000 people had been killed.
The Masalit people are a non-Arab group who reside mainly in Chad and Darfur a region about the size of Spain.
Citing local monitors, Al Jazeera reported that about 1,300 Masalit Sudanese were killed by RSF fighters in early November.
The UN Human Rights Office said in July it obtained credible information stating that bodies of Masalit Sudanese and others, allegedly killed in June by RSF and their allied militia were buried in a mass grave outside West Darfur's capital.
Fighting rages in Sudan despite the warring parties signing a statement after talks in Soddy Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... The resident U.N. humanitarian coordinator for Sudan, said on Friday that the belligerents committed to establishing a Humanitarian Forum, with U.N. participation.
She added that 25 million Sudanese, half of the population, require assistance and protection.
A conflict in 2003 began in Sudan when rebels from Darfur’s ethnic central and sub-Saharan African community launched an insurgency, complaining of oppression by the Arab-dominated government in the capital, Khartoum.
The government responded with a scorched-earth campaign of aerial bombings and unleashed militias known as the Janjaweed, who are accused of mass killings and rapes. Some 300,000 people died in the Darfur conflict, 2.7 million were driven from their homes.
These same militias who were known as Janjaweed are now fighting alongside or under the banner of the RSF.
#2
All sorts of questions on this one. First, the ethnic Masalit people have tried not to take sides in the civil war in Darfur. The RSF have not previously attacked this ethnicity. Why they should now is questionable. Second, the claim that the Janjaweed, an Islamic force headed by riverine Arab military are now a part of the RSF really requires investigation. The European Union condemnation can be considered the usual European blather.
[AFRICANEWS] Suella Braverman has been removed from her position as Home Secretary after defying the directives from No 10 by publishing an article that accused the Metropolitan Police of displaying bias in their handling of protests.
Her actions were criticized for exacerbating tensions in the lead-up to protests in London.
James Cleverly has been named as her successor, while the unexpected appointment of former Prime Minister David Cameron as the new Foreign Secretary has raised eyebrows.
Mrs. Braverman expressed that serving as Home Secretary had been "the greatest privilege of my life."
This move marks the beginning of a significant cabinet reshuffle orchestrated by Rishi Sunak as he seeks to reshape his top team in preparation for the upcoming Autumn Statement next week.
The Prime Minister's official spokesperson stated, "This reshuffle is aimed at assembling a unified team under the Prime Minister's leadership to bring about the necessary long-term changes for our country."
Back in July, Mr. Cleverly had humorously remarked that he would have to be forcibly removed from his role as Foreign Secretary, leaving "nail marks down the parquet flooring." However, on Monday, he expressed that it had been a "huge privilege" to serve as Foreign Secretary and emphasized that being Home Secretary was also a "fantastic job."
He declined to comment on whether he would distance himself from Mrs. Braverman's tenure in the Home Office, stating, "I intend to carry out this role in the manner that I believe best safeguards the interests of the British people and our nation."
Braverman, a 43-year-old lawyer, has become a leader of the party’s populist wing by advocating ever-tougher curbs on migration and a war on human rights ...which are often intentionally defined so widely as to be meaningless... protections, liberal social values and what she has called the "tofu-eating wokerati."
As home secretary she was responsible for law and order and immigration policy and championed the government’s stalled plan to send asylum-seekers who arrive in Britannia in boats on a one-way trip to Rwanda. A UK Supreme Court ruling on whether the policy is legal is due on Wednesday.
Critics say Braverman has been building her profile to position herself for a party leadership contest that could come if the Conservatives lose power in an election expected next year. Opinion polls for months have put the party 15 to 20 points behind Labour.

The better idea might be to do that BEFORE, not IF the Conservatives lose power in an election expected next year.

[KavkazUzel] A court in Dagestan imposed fines and arrests on those accused of participating in the riots at the Makhachkala airport, ignoring their assurances that they did not participate in the anti-Israel action.
Good. Make it cost them.
As the "Caucasian Knot" wrote, on October 29, mass riots occurred at the Makhachkala airport due to reports of the arrival of a plane with passengers from Israel. More than 20 people were injured in the riots, including nine police officers. The criminal case of mass riots has been transferred to Moscow investigators. 201 people were detained for participation in the riots , administrative protocols were drawn up for 155 detainees, police reported on November 5.
From October 26 to 29, mass anti-Semitic actions took place in the cities of three republics of the North Caucasus Federal District. In Cherkessk, protesters demanded that visitors from Israel not be allowed in, and in Nalchik a cultural center was set on fire. In Khasavyurt, Dagestan, hundreds of people gathered at a hotel after messages on social networks that there were refugees from Israel in this hotel, according to the Caucasian Knot report “ Anti-Semitic actions in the North Caucasus: how it happened.” The Caucasian Knot has also prepared a report entitled “ A Wave of Anti-Semitic Actions in the North Caucasus.”
The Kizilyurt District Court of Dagestan examined 22 cases of participants in the riots at the Makhachkala airport and found them all guilty. The accused were sentenced to fines ranging from fines of 10 thousand rubles to ten days of arrest, despite the fact that some of them denied guilt, Kavkaz.Realii reports today with reference to court decisions*.
According to the texts of the decisions posted in the administrative case files on the court’s website, the brothers Dzhabrail and Temav Irisbiev told the court that they learned from social networks that “something was happening” at the airport and went to look, but did not get to the airport, having learned from eyewitnesses that “it’s all over.” “We didn’t even know if there was a rally there or something else,” Temav Irisbiev’s words are quoted in the text of the resolution. Despite denying guilt, the Irisbiev brothers were sentenced to 10 days of arrest.
Islamutdin Zakaryaev, who was also sentenced to 10 days of arrest, explained his presence near the airport in a similar way.
Makhachkala resident Ibragim Magomedov said that he was at the scene of the riots because he was seeing off his friend to Moscow and left the airport when he flew away. However, the court sentenced Magomedov to a fine of 10 thousand rubles.
The defendant Magomedzagid Aliyev said that he came to the airport to meet his relative who had arrived after a pilgrimage to Mecca. Due to the unrest, the relative spent the entire night on the plane, so Aliyev went home alone. However, the court sentenced him to seven days of arrest.
Magomed Sagitov found himself in a similar situation. He told the court that he met his friend at the airport, but was detained by police. Sagitov was also sentenced to 10 days of arrest, the court ruling stated.
Let us recall that Muslims of the North Caucasus reacted sharply to the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. In Dagestan, the majority of residents empathize with the Palestinians , not only out of religious solidarity, but also for humanistic reasons, said Makhachkala residents interviewed by the Caucasian Knot.

[KavkazUzel] The collection of aid for the residents of Palestine is carried out at 24 points located in the buildings of cultural centers and administrations throughout Ingushetia. Residents of the republic were encouraged to bring clothing, food and other essentials.
As the "Caucasian Knot" wrote, the head of Ingushetia on November 10 instructed the government of the republic to organize a collection of aid for the Palestinians and called on residents to participate in it.
They know what Hamas stands for... and approve.
In Ingushetia, on the initiative of the head of the republic, an action was organized to collect humanitarian aid for the affected residents of the Gaza Strip. “24 aid collection points have been opened in cities and regions of the republic, 10 of them have opened in the Nazran region,” Interfax reported today, citing an employee of the press service of the head and government of the region.
Help from residents is accepted in the buildings of rural and regional cultural centers and municipal administrations. The list of necessary humanitarian aid includes non-perishable food, warm clothing, personal hygiene products, tents, mattresses, blankets, portable stoves, generators, the message states.
The cargo will be delivered to Moscow, and then by plane of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations to Egypt, and from there by road to the Gaza Strip, the Ingushetia newspaper reported on November 12, publishing the addresses of aid collection points throughout the republic with telephone numbers.
The Ministry of External Relations, National Policy, Press and Information has created a Telegram group to coordinate the collection of aid, the publication reported today.
The Telegram group “Help to Palestine” created today contains a list of things that are accepted from residents at aid collection points. In particular, dressing materials are needed - bandages, plasters, napkins, medical equipment - canes, wheelchairs, syringes and droppers, antiseptics and painkillers. Residents are encouraged to bring baby food, cereals and pasta, canned food, including locally produced halal meat, water and cookies to collection points. In addition, blankets, blankets, pillows, bed linens, towels, sleeping bags, flashlights, batteries, dishes and generators are needed.
Only new clothes and toys are accepted at aid collection points. Used items, perishable products and products with an expiration date of less than six months, products in open packages, broken dishes, soft toys are not accepted, as indicated in pinned messages in the group.
Residents of Ingushetia are also encouraged to transfer money to help the Palestinians to a special account. As of 20.37 Moscow time, there are 204 members in the group.
The "Caucasian Knot" also wrote that Ingushetia has more than once occupied the last lines in ratings regarding the socio-economic situation. Thus, the republic took last place in the ranking for high salaries - only 8.8% of Ingushetia residents receive salaries above the Russian average. Ingushetia was also in penultimate place in the North Caucasian Federal District in terms of teachers’ salaries; their average monthly salary in January-March of this year was 26,547 rubles .
The fighting between Israel and the Palestinian Hamas movement began on October 7 with the firing of hundreds of rockets into Israeli territory, including civilian targets and civilians. The Israel Defense Forces responded by launching the Iron Swords military operation against Hamas, after which Israel announced a blockade of the Gaza Strip: supplies of water, food, electricity, medicine, and fuel were suspended. Thousands of people died on both sides .
The Islamic movement Hamas is recognized as terrorist in a number of countries: in particular, France and the European Union added it to the list of terrorist groups after the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. In Russia, the movement has not been declared terrorist, since none of its representatives have been convicted in Russia, the Prosecutor General’s Office said in response to a request from a deputy from St. Petersburg.

[Regnum] Prayer rooms for Muslims and martial arts clubs, which are created in residential buildings and are places of mass gathering of migrants, need to be checked by the internal affairs bodies for legality, as well as possible hotbeds of extremism. Lawyer and human rights activist Vladimir Novitsky spoke about this in a conversation with IA Regnum.
Recently, in some cities of Russia, mainly in Moscow and settlements in the Moscow region, prayer rooms for Muslims have begun to appear directly in residential buildings. Moreover, there are examples when houses of worship are registered as cultural centers. Such “prayer houses” attract large numbers of migrants and cause outrage among local residents. The authorities have already been asked to check the communities, since it cannot be ruled out that among the visitors to the so-called prayers there may also be representatives of extremist radical views. Local residents are also concerned about martial arts clubs, which they perceive as a hotbed of radical Islam.

^ Grom's link: Perhaps more notable is what appears to be a major purge of security officials in Dagestan itself and the beginning of major preventative measures among the youth in Russia to prevent any recurrence of such actions across Russia, particularly in the predominantly non-Russian regions. Neither of these actions may be enough to solve the problem, and both may provoke more unrest down the road (Dagpravda.ru, November 7; Rossiyskaya gazeta, November 8).
Moscow is clearly trying to present itself as being on the right side of condemning anti-Semitism. Russian officials have taken this opportunity to exploit these outbursts to tighten control over a long-restive region. In addition, these moves clearly reflect unease in the Kremlin. There is fear that the situation in the North Caucasus and other non-Russian regions is rapidly coming to a boil. Putin’s bargain with regional elites, in which they are given subsidies and some autonomy in exchange for preventing violence, is breaking down due to the Kremlin’s failures and weaknesses. The anti-Semitic, anti-Israeli attacks in the North Caucasus could well be followed by attacks on ethnic Russians and Russia itself, especially as the war in Ukraine grinds on, a war in which North Caucasians and non-Russians have suffered large and disproportionate losses (see EDM, Window on Eurasia, November 1).
Dagestan has long been marked by protests against official actions. The region is the most Muslim and ethnically diverse non-Russian republic in Russia. This past summer, Dagestanis staged demonstrations against the Putin regime’s inability to provide water and air conditioning, blocking highways and demanding that Makhachkala address their needs (Window on Eurasia, August 20, 30).
These protests have grown into something more serious for the Kremlin. The war against Ukraine has left Dagestan deeply divided. Although many of its impoverished people have been willing to fight for Moscow in exchange for high pay, others oppose the war. The region has already lost more men than it did during the entirety of the Soviet Union’s Afghan war. The Dagestanis increasingly suspect Moscow of using non-Russians, especially Muslims like themselves, as “cannon fodder” on the Ukrainian battlefield (see EDM, September 29, 2022; Istories.media, EDM, February 14).

In which the writer ignores the beam in the Russian eye to wax indignant about the beam in France’s.
[RIA] A manifestation for which they were noisily preparing, but which turned out to be nothing. The French establishment wanted to demonstrate unity in the fight against anti-Semitism, and, as usual, it all ended in scandal. The current president avoided participating in the demonstration, writing an open letter (no joke) to the nation he administers as a substitute for his presence. After which the politicians, with thinner smoke and a lower chimney, began to perform ritual antics at the kindergarten level, when someone does not want to walk hand in hand with someone else. All this happened before the eyes of those whom, as it was stated, the authorities intended to protect and protect.
And there is something to protect and protect, leaving sarcasm aside. Anti-Semitic protests in France are growing exponentially, and the houses of Parisian, Marseille, Lyon, and Lille Jews are decorated with Stars of David with sad regularity. It has not yet come to the point of pogroms of Jewish small businesses, kosher restaurants, shops and shops, but armed patrols are already on duty around Jewish schools around the clock, and synagogues on the eve of Shabbat have long been under heavy police and gendarmerie protection.
Sunday's demonstration for everything good (in support of the Jewish community of France, which is half a million people) and against everything bad (insults and threats against the French of Jewish origin) took place almost on the day of the 85th anniversary of one of the monstrous events in European history. Kristallnacht, a two-day pogrom in November 1938, when Nazi stormtroopers destroyed and burned hundreds of synagogues, not only in Germany itself , but also in Austria , looted businesses and factories owned by Jews, as well as clinics, shops, killing those who tried to protect their families. Kristallnacht became the signal for the destruction of all European Jewry. We all know how it ended.
It is worth adding here that while in Nazi Germany the “cultured German nation” was robbing and killing fellow citizens, in the Soviet Union a lullaby in Yiddish was flowing from the screens, which was sung to a black baby, and this famous scene was captured in the film “Circus”.
No doubt. But there is also the centuries-long history of Russian Jew-hatred, that manifested as the huge ghetto that was the Pale of Settlement (1791 to 1917), regular pogroms, the publication of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, and so forth that flowered into suspicion of Jews that were bourgeois, educated, or religious. Russia once had the largest Jewish population in the world, but they left.
The self-proclaimed enlightened Europe incited xenophobia and racial hatred with all its might, while the USSR glorified friendship and good-hearted relations between peoples.
Is that what it’s called nowadays?
Two more years later, when France shamefully lays down its arms before Hitler, its government, based in Vichy, will begin to deport Frenchmen of Jewish origin to death camps. The Nazis only gave instructions, but the French gendarmes, police officers, and, of course, active citizens disciplinedly took upon themselves the execution. The concierges, as befits law-abiding citizens, absolutely voluntarily handed over house books to the relevant authorities, in which residents with Jewish surnames were listed; the French Medical Order, which united doctors of all specialties, also reported to the appropriate authorities about Jewish doctors, providing the addresses of their offices and places of residence. The French Society of Railways allocated special trains, which were driven by French drivers, who transported people, their fellow citizens, old people, children and women, doomed to become crematorium smoke, to death camps.
Both the Medical Order (Conseil National d'Ordre des médecins) and the Society of Railways (SNCF) were not dissolved for their actions, they were not subjected to any persecution, even administrative, not to mention denazification. They continue to function to this day, but no one remembers the past.
And if Hitler’s bosses indicated in their directives that Jewish children starting from the age of 12 were subject to deportation, then the French authorities lowered the age, and, according to their orders, both pregnant women and infants of any age were subject to deportation to death camps.
The French denounced their Jewish neighbors, Jewish children, and Jewish orphanages so willingly that the first thing de Gaulle did upon entering Paris in August 1944 was to close the archives with denunciations for a hundred years (that is, until 2044 inclusive), transferring them to the army for storage. In the name, as he himself stated, “preserving national unity.” The decision of the creator of modern France can be understood if you know that the informers lived and continued to live later, after the war, next to either the descendants of those whom they denounced, or the miraculously surviving victims of their denunciations.
Remorse? No, the French don't know.
Moreover, until the end of the twentieth century, until 1995, the participation of French society and the French state in the extermination of tens of thousands of fellow citizens was kept under wraps, they hardly talked about it, and the topic was absolutely taboo in the press. Only President Jacques Chirac , being a noble man who understands that sooner or later hiding this terrible criminal past can lead to terrible consequences, admitted France's responsibility for the murder of 75 thousand deportees (among them 11 thousand children under 12 years old) in death camps.
Then, of course, they created museums and memorials, but it was too late. Reflection, repentance and admission of guilt work when in hot pursuit, and so, more than half a century later, who remembers and knows what?
The demonstration against anti-Semitism, with its pomp and pathos declared by the organizers (these are both chambers of the National Assembly), could not help but fail due to the fact that society first needs to understand what it has done, realize the severity of guilt and responsibility for the past, and only then put forward the right slogans.
Otherwise, the dirt of French history, the shame of the French nation, the guilt of society, no matter how much you sweep it under the rug, it will not disappear anywhere. No matter how many right words are said and no matter how many calls are made, the blood and suffering of those whom the French themselves sent to their deaths will be an eternal stain on the French tricolor. Because history punishes those who are unrepentant and pretend that nothing happened with eternal shame. The demonstration that took place in Paris on Sunday is clear proof of this.
[MSN] Rep. Ilhan Omar ...Somali-American Dem representative from Minnesota. She was apparently married to her brother and may be her own grandmaw on her mother's side. She is a member of The Squad, and would like to make the country look a lot more like Mogadishu... (D-Minn.) will this week introduce legislation to disapprove of a multimillion-dollar package of bombs for Israel proposed by the Biden administration, a source familiar with her plans told HuffPost ― posing the first congressional challenge to the U.S.’s policy of uninterrupted and expanding military support for Israel amid its devastating campaign in Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... Omar will by Wednesday file a bill known as a "resolution of disapproval" targeting a $320 million sale of precision bombs, the source said, likely with a group of fellow Democratic politicians as co-sponsors. [GEO.TV] Amid the government's crackdown to drive out all illegal migrants colonists from the country, "anti-Pakistain sentiments" are being incited among Afghans in the neighbouring country, Senator Shehzad Saleem said while addressing the upper house of parliament on Monday.
The government last month decided to deport all the undocumented foreigners living in the country in light of a surge in terrorism in Pakistain. More than 280,000 Afghan nationals have left Pakistain since the new policy was announced, according to the United Nations ...an idea whose time has gone... High Commissioner For Refugees (UNHCR).
However, women are made to be loved, not understood... the senators demanded the repatriation of Afghans in a respectful manner during a Senate meeting today.
Saleem said that there has been a history of misunderstanding and mistrust between Islamabad and Kabul. He said that the country witnessed a spike in terrorist activities and authorities decided to send the illegal migrants colonists back to their country to deal with the situation.
"An autonomous state is responsible for ensuring the safety of life and property of its citizens," the senator said.
He, however, added that Pakistain has to play a role in regional affairs and promote political dialogue with Afghanistan as well.

Muslims must kill. So, the optimum situation is when they kill each other.
[IsraelTimes] Mayo Clinic head trauma specialist Dr. Teodoro Dagi brings knowledge gained from global conflict work — including in Kosovo and Northern Ireland — to treating Israel’s war-injured
As soon as world-renowned American neurosurgeon Dr. Teodoro Forcht Dagi learned of Hamas ...the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood,... ’s devastating October 7 attack on Israel, he contacted Sheba Medical Center near Tel Aviv saying he wanted to come and help in any way he could and stay for as long as needed.
Although Dagi had not previously worked or volunteered at Sheba — Israel’s largest hospital — he was aware of its excellent reputation.
"I have tremendous respect for the hospital and have some acquaintance with how it plans for military-civilian contingencies having to do with my particular work in trauma and mass casualty events," Dagi said.
"I know of the neurosurgery department here and the neurosurgical departments in Israel in general, and I know their quality," he said.
Dagi, who lives in the Boston area, is a professor of neurosurgery at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. He was trained at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, and Johns Hopkins.
Between 2005 and 2018, Dagi chaired the medical school at Queen’s University in Belfast, Northern Ireland, rebuilding it after the Good Friday Agreement peace treaty that ended the "Troubles." The sectarian violence that lasted between the late 1960s and late 1990s killed more than 3,500 people and injured thousands more. Dagi has also worked in other conflict areas, such as Kosovo.
Dagi, who is Jewish, has a particular interest in head trauma and has consulted internationally on battlefield injury. He is an editor of several journals including the Journal of Special Forces Medicine, and in the past was a flight surgeon and taught flight surgery courses for the IDF.
Physicians at Sheba appreciate his stepping up to assist where needed and contribute his decades’ worth of expertise. The hospital has been treating many of those injured during the war sparked by Hamas’s murder of 1,200 Israelis and taking 239 hostage.
[IsraelTimes] Washington Post says gunnies sought to attack cities, military bases in planned deeper incursion; terror group gathered intelligence from laborers who worked in Israel
The Hamas ...the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood,... terror group had ambitious plans beyond what it was able to carry out during its devastating October 7 onslaught, including possibly reaching the West Bank and larger Israeli cities in order to spark a broader war, according to a Sunday report. Reconnaissance information and maps suggesting the West Bank was a target for the brutal incursion were discovered in the possession of one of the assault units that burst across the border, The Washington Post reported, citing two senior Middle Eastern intelligence officials and a former US official with detailed knowledge of the evidence. Furthermore, officials said gunnies were found with supplies to last several days, indicating plans of a deeper incursion.

The problem is this
Hamas are the symptom not the cause
Remove hamas and another hamas will rise immediately
The cause is islam
In particular 2 islamix imoeratives:
1) land once ruled by muslims must not be ceded to non muslims, ever, and
2) jews are the worst enemy of the muslims and mohammad has prophesied that when muslims kill all the jews, this will trigger the apocalypse after which muslims will rule the world. This is the hadith regarding jews hiding behind trees and rocks.
These two imperatives together are in the hamas charter
But they are in there because of islam
There is no 2 state solution that can ever solve this problem
Your choices are these:
1) israel is annihilated
2) gaza is annihilated
3) israel removes hamas but then hamas simply reforms with a different name, which will eventually lead back to (1)
4) israel defeats hamas, executes every hamas affiliate, takes all the hamas children under 10 (now orphans) and farms them out to loving jewish and christian families to be raised as christians and jews, then bans islam in gaza.
Adults remaining can choose any religion or atheism but not islam
