Seems like Rand should also put a copy of the criminal referral in a bottle and toss it into the Potomac and then compare which referral yields results faster.

So.... how many still think it was an "accidental" lab leak?
[Fox News] According to federal guidance circulated among hunting education groups and shared with Fox News Digital, the Department of Education determined that, under the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (BSCA) passed last year, school hunting and archery classes are precluded from receiving federal funding. The interpretation could impact millions of American children enrolled in such programs.
"It's a negative for children. As a former educator of 30-plus years, I was always trying to find a way to engage students," Tommy Floyd, the president of the National Archery in the Schools Program, told Fox News Digital in an interview. "In many communities, it's a shooting sport, and the skills from shooting sports, that help young people grow to be responsible adults. They also benefit from relationships with role models."
"You've got every fish and wildlife agency out there working so hard to utilize every scrap of funding, not only for the safety and hunter education, but for the general understanding of why stewardship is so important when it comes to natural resources," he continued. "Any guidance where it's even considered a ’maybe’ or a prohibition for shooting sports is a huge negative."

The government is not anti-shooting. It is more anti-accuracy.

Dept of Education - show me in the Constitution that is a federal function.

So, don't whine, open a Jr. ROTC recruiting chapter.
Shooting, marching, PT, early boot summer sessions, scholarships. Everything they could ask for.

There are so many different pathways to fund education programs — national organizations, state departments of wildlife, sporting groups — there really is no need for federal funding, and it is probably much faster and easier to get support elsewhere. Skidmark’s ROTC is just one of a great many.
Like the Chik-fil-A boycott that quickly turned into a buy-cott, turning away from federal funding is probably the best way to spike their guns against future efforts to control the outcome by controlling the pursestrings.
Especially if the hunting and archery programs are tied into state mandated curricula items. At one point my little PTA committee had put together a 3” thick binder with prepared lesson plans — including classroom materials — to fulfill Ohio state curriculum points for grades K-6 using the elementary school’s 5 acre nature preserve, including art, language arts, and science topics, among others.
[Just the News]The executive order transfers authority from military commanders to independent military prosecutors in cases of sexual assault, domestic violence, murder and other serious offenses by changing the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
The changes were passed by Congress in the Fiscal Year 2022 National Defense Authorization Act.
"The historic reforms announced today will better protect victims and ensure prosecutorial decisions are fully independent from the chain of the command," according to the White House.

It pushes the cover-ups into a new chain of command. Other offenses will follow until you have de facto political officers adjudicating guilt based on DEI principles.

It's got to be part of the plan to position USMIL to be used against out-of-favor civilians, but I don't see how.

The US military was one of the last, overwhelmingly conservative, mostly merit-based institutions in America. It is being rapidly bent left, minority-led, ghey, woke and mercenary. The targeted domestic threats the Swamp sees are Trumpian supporters who are antithetical to that.

As a 27 year vet, both enlisted and commissioned, I don't get it. It's just politics here. This is how it already is. The charges listed above are already taken from the commanders and investigated by CID, Criminal Investigative Division, of whatever service equivalent is. If there is something there in the accusation, there is a general courts martial. A trial by a senior officer, outside the owning command or if the person wants a jury there will be a jury established of members outside his command. I dont know how the Navy does it on ships at sea but for the rest of the services it goes like this.
As a commander I would think it to be a little intrusive, but a good thing. This removes any perception of bias in the command group, either way it goes and protects the young company commander as our history changes. Perceptions is really important as the command group rises in ranks and exits the military. Let me give an example.
When Don't Ask, Don't Tell became a presidential policy it was met by the gay community with distain, for the rest it was a bad joke. I was a dumbass company commander at the time. I had a number of gay women in the ranks, they worked hard and I could care less what they did. When the directive came out one soldier came to me and wanted to be processed out. She said she would not lie about who she was and felt the directive demeaning and wrong, which I agreed. She asked for a chapter discharge for being gay. After a cup of coffee, a good sweat, and a rehearsal of my line I called my boss and said, hay boss I got something for you! Under UCMJ I had no choice but to put her out. I was lucky, she had no intent to challenge it or make an event out of it, she just would not compromise her integrity. Before I could finish the chapter I was formally relieved of doing the chapter by a COL, legal type, and he chaptered her out. I was pissed, this was my troop, not his. My legal said that someday this chaptering will be on line with the military persecuting the blacks in the ranks and judged by a different history than we are living. They were effectively taking me out of the picture to protect me. A wisdom I later understood.
So from this perspective, maybe a commander should not be the guy here for these types of crimes. Let a professional investigator take it over, and a real judge and jury.

Last time I check - good order and discipline were the sole authority of Congress to regulate by the Constitution.
[Epoch Times] The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is tracking toward recommending that Americans get an annual COVID-19 vaccine, the agency's new director says.
Dr. Mandy Cohen, who recently replaced Dr. Rochelle Walensky, says that the new CDC recommendation is expected to be finalized and announced in September.
"We’re just on the precipice of that, so I don’t want to get ahead of where our scientists are here and doing that evaluation work, but yes we anticipate that COVID will become similar to flu shots, where it is going to be you get your annual flu shot and you get your annual COVID shot," Dr. Cohen told Spectrum News.
"We’re not quite there yet, but stay tuned. I think within the next couple of weeks, month we’re going to hear more from our experts on COVID shots."
The director, a strong proponent of the vaccines, didn't offer any safety or efficacy data or any other details but said she worries "about parents not vaccinating kids" against COVID-19 and other viruses. And other viruses.

Whatever they recommend will become mandatory for school kids. It’s population control.

I may have to raise bail money for my son and daughter in law if they try to force this on my grandkids.
For that matter I might have to put some aside for myself.

They will back down from a challenge, but they will make money with it being on the kids list. Most people will just have the default course given. With it being on the mandatory kids list, the pharma companies remain shielded from lawsuits for kids that have reactions.

The Emergency Provision got them contracts without human testing or most of the usual requirements. Getting it on the kids list without the usual testing prevents the roll back into a position when they need to do the testing that they never did. It cements the scam.
If a parent balks on the kids shot, I think they will quietly back away. I don’t think they want this to be a polarizing issue that ends up in court with discovery.

If they withheld pertinent information, that could nullify the immunity.

All of the cases May, June, and July total some 880,000 - the same number of new cases as a single day - January 20, 2022.
Same time period - 9,972 deaths in three months, about the same as two days in February, 2021.

This is a terrible idea. Traditional flu shots appear to be marginally effective but if you add the ineffective COVID 19 to the list most people will just avoid all annually recommended seasonal vaccines.

HELL NO. Anyone recommending this needs to surive a year of DAILY 'boosters' at 10x the dose to prove it's safe. Do that I 'might' consider it after testing for 50 more years. Fauci should get boosters every hour until he's immune:p
