Kamala Harris slammed after saying most Americans are a $400 unexpected expense away from bankruptcy
Conservatives blasted VP Harris and the economic policies of President Biden after she claimed that most Americans can’t afford a $400 unexpected expense.
Vice President Kamala Harris was blasted on social media over a claim that most Americans would go "bankrupt" from an unexpected $400 expense while she was lamenting how difficult it is for women in America to get abortions.
While speaking at a moderated discussion on "reproductive rights" in Iowa on Friday, Harris spoke at length about how women in Iowa will endure economic hardship traveling to other states for a legal abortion post-Roe v. Wade if a court allows a state abortion bill to take effect.
"If she is a single parent, she's going to have to be able to pay for that childcare," Harris said. "She's going to lose time for work. Maybe she has paid family leave. Maybe she doesn't. Maybe she has paid sick leave. Maybe she doesn't. She will have to be able to pay for a plane, train, bus, gas. Most Americans are a $400 unexpected expense away from bankruptcy."
The quote was immediately criticized by conservatives on social media who suggested that any economic hardship for the average American is a result of President Biden’s policies after more than two years in office.
"Yeah, that’s called Bidenomics and it’s a problem," GOP presidential candidate Sen. Tim Scott responded. "Americans have lost $10,000 in spending power because of the Biden-Harris agenda."
Harris was likely referencing a 2022 Economic Well-Being of U.S. Households survey released this year that showed nearly 40% of Americans lack the cash on hand to cover a $400 emergency expense and would have to use credit cards or borrow money to cover it.
[Gateway] The Biden Crime Family — and possibly Joe Biden himself — are hiding money in offshore bank accounts.
Fox News host Jesse Watters reported IRS whistleblowers have documents suggesting the Biden Crime Family has offshore bank accounts.
"With Joe [Biden], I suspect there are offshore accounts," House Oversight Chairman James Comer said on Thursday.
James Comer also revealed that six major banks, including JP Morgan, Bank of America, and Wells Fargo, had submitted over 170 suspicious activity reports (SARs) to the Treasury Department, all concerning alleged criminal behavior by the Biden crime family.
Fox News host Jesse Watters said sources confirmed to "Primetime" that whistleblowers have proof the Bidens have offshore bank accounts.
"Primetime" has just discovered the Biden family, possibly Joe Biden himself, has offshore bank accounts....Let that sink in. IRS whistleblowers have indicated that they have documents suggesting that the Biden family, possibly Joe Biden himself, are hiding money offshore," Jesse Watters said.
"These IRS whistleblowers have been asked to produce the documents relating to Biden’s offshore bank accounts relating to the House Ways and Means Committee," Watters said.
"Now, these documents can’t go to Comer. They have to go to House Ways and Means because they’re the only committee permitted to see it. Sources tell "Primetime" they have not seen the documents yet, but when they do, it goes through a vote and then the documents will be released," Watter continued.
Jesse Watters said Joe Biden has never worked in the private sector so why the hell does he receive money through shell companies from his son Hunter.

Hard to jibe Joe’s income stream post VP with him not being in business. He will eventually be asked. His answer will be “investments.” Most politicians would have the same issue, so that argument will be tough to make regarding impeachment.

[Fox News] Resign, then, and keep that power-hungry illegal alien wife away Fetterman expressed dissatisfaction with the Senate and discussed his depressive episode at the beginning of his term.
Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania reflected on his first six months in office in an interview published Friday in The New York Times.
The senator gave an overall negative appraisal of the legislature, saying his first half-year in the upper house has left him with the impression that the Senate is more focused on drama than governance.
"There’s a fixation on a lot of dumb sh-t. Bad performance art is really what it gets down to. The debt ceiling — there should have been no drama with any of that," Fetterman told the outlet. "The fact that we’re playing with something like that is antithetical to the stability of our democracy. It really is. Everything is turning into a culture war. Not everything has to be a think piece, you know."

Elder and handicapped abuse have become the hallmarks of the entrenched powers in DC. This guy is a clown-show with a broken centerpiece, and anyone who thinks he is the actual, functioning mind behind anything his office says or does is clueless. The literal Junior Senator from Pennsylvania is a mix of professional demokrat staffers and his nasty, hyper-ambitious wife.

Fetterman spoke at length about his bout of depression, which kept him working out of a hospital for over a month.
"It’s a burden, but a privilege, too, to talk about it. It’s also an opportunity to be very bipartisan," he said. "Red or blue, if you have depression, get help, please. Don’t ever, ever, ever harm yourself. Do not leave behind a blueprint of that."
Bet that was a good 45-minute statement, with 3 re-writes and edits for comprehension
