[NYPOST] A "sexual predator" who allegedly removed his ankle monitor and then overdosed, was taken back into custody just one day after he was released from a more than nine-year prison sentence for lewd and lascivious battery with a victim 12-15 years old, according to the sheriff’s office.
Albert Lee Gardner, 29, was released from his nine-and-a-half-year sentence on July 7 and was arrested on July 8 after authorities found his ankle monitor in a convenience store trash can, the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office said in a release.
A probation officer called deputies to the 7-Eleven in Brooksville, Florida, after noticing his GPS tracker had been there for an unusually long time.
Gardner had been given five and a half years of supervised release following his sentence, according to FOX 35.
Deputies then got a call about an overdose at an apartment and found Gardner had taken what his sister called an "unknown narcotic." He was revived with Narcan. WHY??
After being cleared at a hospital, Gardner was booked without bond and charged with violating his probation and tampering with an electronic monitoring device.

At least somebody's checking the trackers there.
Turns out, in Texas they generally don't even check.

Such tracking hardware is usually managed by a private company. Like traffic cameras. It's another grift.

Glad he was caught. If they had to issue a BOLO for him, every Starbucks in the area might have been missing staff periodically until the Garner was back where he belonged. Are they sure he went out after drugs, maybe he was trying to locate an extra bowling pin to add more difficulty to his act.

Dramatic video shows parents grab their children and head for the shore
A dark fin cuts through shin-deep water on the busy Florida coastline
It appears to be dusk - when sharks, as nocturnal creatures, are most active
Most shark species are nocturnal, and the Florida Museum urges swimmers to 'avoid being in the water during low light hours (dawn or dusk) and at night when many sharks are most active and feeding'.
An average of five people die each year globally due to unprovoked shark bites,' experts at the museum said.
'The yearly average of unprovoked shark bites on humans globally is 70, resulting in about five deaths,' they said.
'These worldwide numbers are small given the millions of humans that enter the water.
'You have a better chance of dying from a bee sting, a dog or snake bite, or lightning than from a shark bite.'
[KDAF/AP hat tip to the Dallas Morning News] The summer of 2023 is behaving like a broken record about broken records.
Nearly every major climate-tracking organization proclaimed June the hottest June ever. Then July 4 became the globe’s hottest day, albeit unofficially, according to the University of Maine’s Climate Reanalyzer. It was quickly overtaken by July 5 and July 6. Next came the hottest week, a tad more official, stamped into the books by the World Meteorological Organization and the Japanese Meteorological Agency. In the DFW are, the record for 42 hundred-degree days in a row was set in ... 1980.
With a summer of extreme weather records dominating the news, meteorologists and scientists say records like these give a glimpse of the big picture: a warming planet caused by climate change. It’s a picture that comes in the vibrant reds and purples representing heat on daily weather maps online, in newspapers and on television.
In the past 30 days, nearly 5,000 heat and rainfall records have been broken or tied in the U.S. and more than 10,000 records set globally, according to NOAA. Texas cities and towns alone have set 369 daily high temperature records since June 1. Since 2000, the U.S. has set about twice as many records for heat as those for cold. There ya go! Proof of climate change. Unless the records before 2000 might indicate otherwise.
The larger the geographic area and the longer stretch of time during which records are set, the more likely the conditions represent climate change rather than daily weather. So the hottest global June is "extremely unlikely" to happen without climate change, as opposed to one city’s daily record, Texas state climatologist John Nielsen-Gammon said. Yeah, and don't forget about Greenland's ice melting 400,000 years before (man-made) climate change!

In Oklahoma there was an ambitious dam and reservoir construction plan from the 1930s to 70s to control the frequent massive flooding of the North and South Canadian Rivers. The result was an overall change of the climate in Central Oklahoma with higher humidity during the summer -- "It never rained in August before". What rains used to be torrential 'gully washers' as fronts of supercell thunderstorms slammed the state.
TL/DR: Climate is complicated and their computer programs are based on guesswork and 'simplifications'.

[Shafaq News] Speculation has been mounting about the fate of China's Foreign Minister, Qin Gang, who has not been publicly seen for nearly a month; the lack of information has sparked various rumors and questions about his sudden absence.
Covid? Organ transplant? Blood transfusion from 20 year olds? And of course there’s always death, in all its myriad forms...
Gang's last public appearance was on June 25, when he met with Russian, Sri Lankan, and Vietnamese officials during their visit to China, as The British Telegraph newspaper reported.
Since then, he has been notably absent from a series of high-level diplomatic meetings both domestically and internationally, including a discussion of foreign ministers from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in Jakarta and the upcoming BRICS summit in Johannesburg involving Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa.
Notably, Gang was absent from a meeting in Beijing attended by high-ranking foreign delegates, including Henry Kissinger, and during a rare visit by Ukraine's deputy economy minister, marking the first visit by a Ukrainian official to Beijing in four years.
The Chinese government attributed his absence to "unspecified health reasons" ahead of the ASEAN summit, with Wang Yi, China's chief diplomat, taking on his responsibilities during the meeting. However, by candlelight every wench is handsome... when asked about the minister's absence, a spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry offered no further information during a regular presser in China.
Various speculations have arisen regarding the reasons behind the absence, but there is no concrete indication of his involvement in political issues, as reported by the British newspaper.
One widespread rumor is that the Chinese minister may have been having an affair with Fu Xiaotian, a Chinese TV presenter, who also disappeared from public view recently. Such an affair could be considered a violation of Ministry of State Security regulations in China.
Gang was known to be a close confidant of President Xi Jinping and is considered a staunch loyalist. Before his current position as Foreign Minister, he served as the spokesperson for the State Department. He played a significant role in overseeing US-China relations, including a lengthy meeting with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in June of the previous year.
His sudden absence has left many questioning the circumstances surrounding his departure from public life.
[ElPais] Voter turnout at Spain’s national election stood at 53.12% at 6:00 p.m. local time, with two hours left to cast ballots in mainland Spain, reflecting a decrease of almost four points compared to the 2019 polls, when it was 56.85%, according to figures released by the Interior Ministry. This figure does not include postal voting, which this year has reached record numbers, with 2.47 million voters choosing this option. Turnout rose in the regions of Galicia, Extremadura, the Balearic Islands, Cantabria, the Canary Islands and Asturias and fell elsewhere, mainly in Catalonia, Madrid and the Basque Country.
With 22,562 polling stations open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. this Sunday, the prospect of a hot day pushed many people to go early. A majority of polling stations lack air conditioning, and they have been equipped with electric fans, portable air conditioning systems and refrigerators containing bottles of water to make the day easier for the citizens who were summoned to man the 60,314 polling tables across the Spanish territory.
With the snap election taking place in the middle of summer, the railway company Renfe enabled shuttle buses on the Madrid-Valencia route after a serious incident in a tunnel interrupted traffic in both directions. The breakdown affected some 4,000 passengers, including many citizens who were going home in order to vote. The main opposition Popular Party (PP) has insinuated that the breakdown may have been due to an alleged boycott by Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez of the Socialist Party (PSOE). Before this, the PP had suggested that mail-in ballots would experience trouble; instead, there has been a record 2.4 million mail votes.

[ZeroHedge] The head of the group Unified Grassroots in Saskatchewan is raising concerns about gender ideology in the classroom.
Nadine Ness said she has been contacted by several parents who are worried about the percentage of students in some classrooms who are identifying as LGBT.
In one case, she said, a father told her that in his 13-year-old son’s class, 13 out of 30 young people identify as LGBT.
She was also notified of a principal in a different school telling a parent that some 32 percent of Grade 7 and 8 students are identifying as LGBT.
Her concern is that the percentages seem very high.
“I think it sends a clear message that something is happening in the classroom that is leading kids to go that route of either identifying or being confused about gender,” she told The Epoch Times.
“That 32 percent is not what’s reflected in society.”
“It just confirms what I’m hearing from parents across the province,” she added. “It’s not every classroom. It seems that they all have a few things in common where the children will have been exposed to teachers or people within the school system that are constantly pushing that ideology.”
She went on to say that it is probably normal that some children would identify—but not the percentages she is being told.
“I’m sure there’s some of them that do identify, but that many kids are getting confused—we have to ask ourselves, is this what’s in the best interest of the children that are going into these schools?”
Ms. Ness said she has been told some of the numbers come from a survey within the Saskatchewan school system, but said she has not been able to find out much about it.
“And if it’s province wide, I wanted the public to start demanding accountability from the government … I have yet to be able to get a copy of it to know what questions are asked and I actually had some teachers reach out to me, and they told me they don’t even get to see the questions … They’re putting these kids in front of a computer screen to answer the survey, and no teacher gets to actually see what questions are asked.”
The Epoch Times contacted the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education for more information about the survey, but did not get a response by deadline.
For Ms. Ness, the issue is why the percentage of young people identifying is so high.
“I hope it triggers studies and for the Ministry of Education to look into this,” she said.
“Is it just confusion? Is it indoctrination? Or is this really just where we’re going as a society?” she asked.
“Is this natural or not natural?”
Unified Grassroots is a non-profit organization that was started by parents in 2021 over concerns about the effect of COVID-19 policies on children. Ms. Ness said they have thousands of members and followers provincewide.

Remember that the kids probably receive special privileges for identifying as such (boys getting access to girl's locker rooms, getting lots of attention, etc.) and kids being kids have figured out how to work the system.

[NYPOST] An angry mob of women in northeast India attacked the home of a main suspect in the gang rape of two minority women
...the majority in this case are Meitei, who are mostly Hindus and live in and around the city of Imphal, while the minority are the mainly Christian Kuki who live in the surrounding hills. The issue is that the Meirei want to be treated like another minority in order to get government set-asides, too. Apparently shame and raping Kuki womenfolk after beating and murdering their men is the way the Meitei have chosen to achieve this...
in May which has enraged the country.
The Dire Revenge attack on Friday in Manipur was in response to a video that went viral on social media this week that showed two women, aged 19 and 21, being stripped naked and paraded through a street two months ago.
The victims were part of a larger group running from a village in the Kangpokpi district as it was burned by a mob of 800 to 1,000 people.
Police said the man is believed to have dragged the two tribal women onto the street and incited the mob to rape them and march them through the community.
"Local women pelted stones and burnt some parts of the house belonging to the prime accused in a village," said Hemant Pandey, a senior police official in the state capital Imphal, confirmed Friday.
"We request women to protest peacefully as there is intense unease. We understand their rage."
[OneIndia] Manipur Police has arrested a sixth person in connection with the May 4 parading of two tribal women in Kangpokpi district of the state, officials said on Saturday.
The two women are alleged to have been sexually assaulted before being set free by a mob. A 26-second video of the incident surfaced on Wednesday.
Police said the arrested person is a juvenile. Police had made the first arrest on Thursday, a day after a 26-second video of the horrific incident surfaced on July 19. Three more arrests were made later that day. The fifth accused, 19-year-old youth, was arrested on Saturday.
The State Police is making an all-out effort to arrest the remaining culprits by conducting raids at many suspected hideouts.
It said that a total of 125 checkpoints were installed in different districts as security measures.
On Thursday, a man who was part of the mob that paraded the women at B. Phainom village and was seen dragging one of them was among four people who were arrested as the incident drew widespread condemnation. These four people were remanded to 11-day police custody on Friday, police said.
More than 160 people have bit the dust, and several have been injured since ethnic violence broke out in the state on May 3, when a 'Tribal Solidarity March' was organised in the hill districts to protest against the Meitei community's demand for Scheduled Tribe (ST) status.
Meiteis account for about 53 per cent of Manipur's population and live mostly in the Imphal Valley, while tribals, which include Nagas and Kukis, constitute 40 per cent and reside mostly in the hill districts.
[OneIndia] On the same day that two tribal women in Manipur were subjected to a horrifying incident involving stripping, parading, and alleged gang rape by a mob, another tragic incident unfolded in the state's Kangpokpi district. This comes a day after chief minister and BJP leader Biren Singh conceded that 'hundreds' of instances similar to that portrayed in a chilling video had taken place in the state since May 3.
Two young women, aged 21 and 24, who were employed at a car wash in the Konung Mamang area of Imphal East district, around 40 kilometers away from the site of the previous incident, became victims of brutal assault and murder amidst the ongoing wave of ethnic violence that continues to grip the region.
According to reports, a large group of men, accompanied by some women, attacked the two women working at the car wash. A male co-worker, who witnessed the horrifying incident, revealed that the women in the mob incited the men to sexually assault the victims inside a room.
As per the account provided by a cousin of the younger victim, more than 100 Meitei men and women conducted a search for the two women on May 4. The search led them to discover the victims inside a room at the car wash.

Hard to tell the players without a scorecard in this one. Ain't being super religious to the point of violence a nice way to live your life?
Here's as good a place to start as any: it's beginning to look like they made SARS-2-Covid by splicing bits and pieces from FIP into a bat coronavirus.
I think we need a "The Lights Of Perverted Science" category.
This is an interesting idea as to why one might have wanted to engineer a non-canonical FCS into proto-SARS2: they could have been inspired by how a mutated FCS in feline CoVs turns a harmless FECV into a deadly FIPV. Some of those deadly strains had their FCS mutate into PRRAR: https://t.co/cBLexSRU8x
Which means after three years of saying "This is like FIP for humans" I found out the bastards actually probably spliced FIP bits into their SARS second draft.
Which means it's going to be persistent in the population and difficult to vaccinate against, and a pain in the ass whenever it mutates to the worse form.

Perhaps I'm just a conspiracy theorist, But I still DO have a copy of the withdrawn Indian 'HIV paper', and while I don't claim to be a virologist; the allegations of genetic variability properties of the ACE-2 receptor as a possible vector for attacks on certain populations was intriguing and worrisome.
If there truly were (I recall an 8) nucleic acid sequence unheard of in wild coronaviruses but the same sequence that allowed the similar RNA HIV virus to make a protein that attaches to T-cells as the initiator of the cascade leading to clinical AIDS that would suggest a manipulated genome. Really putting my tinfoil hat on; could this be Faucis Frankenvirus he loaned to the Chinese when Gain of function research was outlawed in US in 2014?
I was involved in likely the first case of HIV identified in N. FL in early 80s. Whatever the issues were with the vaccine now; that paper prompted me to get vaccinated ASAP. I'd likely already had the then S form of the WuFlu virus in 12/2019...
On March 17, 2020, a paper entitled "The proximal origin of SARS-CoV-2" was published in the scientific journal Nature Medicine (1). The paper assessed the genome sequence of SARS-CoV-2 and concluded, "Our analyses clearly show that SARS-CoV-2 is not a laboratory construct or a purposefully manipulated virus" and "we do not believe that any type of laboratory-based scenario is plausible."
This paper played an influential role—indeed, the central role—in communicating the false narrative that science established that SARS-CoV-2 entered humans through natural spillover, and not through research-related spillover (2-8).
Email messages and direct messages via the messaging program Slack among authors of the paper obtained under FOIA or by the U.S. Congress and publicly released in full in July 2023 (2-8), show, incontrovertibly, that the authors did not believe the conclusions of the paper at the time the paper was written, at the time the paper was submitted for publication, and at the time the paper was published. They thus show that the paper was, and is, the product of scientific fraud and scientific misconduct.
It is imperative that this clearly fraudulent and clearly damaging paper be removed from the scientific literature.
We, the undersigned, call upon the editors of Nature Medicine to retract and remove the paper.
All I can do is hope this is a start. I'd like to request the moderators roll this forward daily for about a week or so, to see if we can get this to spread. At least we can make the idiots who manage the censorship work at their damn jobs.
Rolled over. Snowy Thing also posted the tweet below for Sunday — I thought our discussions would be aided by stacking both posts together.

Also the notion that we can just wipe the slate clean and assess the *current* state of the COVID origins debate as though everyone has been acting in good faith is obviously wrong. One side (natural origins) has engaged in gross misconduct to manipulate public opinion. https://t.co/R0o3K9OGlA

Those that signed off expressing their "expert" opinions stating: "Our analyses clearly show that SARS-CoV-2 is not a laboratory construct or a purposefully manipulated virus" and "we do not believe that any type of laboratory-based scenario is plausible." .
Should never be allowed to express or let alone considered an authority on any medical/lab related subject hereafter.
🤫 Maybe the media will investigate, to see if any $$$$$$, position, or a reward was given for their "expert opinion".🤫

[FoxNews] Melbourne scientists grow human brain cells on silicon chips
A team of researchers in Australia has been awarded more than $403,000 in federal funding to merge human brain cells with artificial intelligence.
Melbourne's Monash University, which led the research into growing human brain cells on silicon chips, said in a release that the money came from the National Intelligence and Security Discovery Research Grants Program.
The program was led by Turner Institute Associate Professor Adeel Razi and is a collaboration with start-up Cortical Labs.
It involves growing around 800,000 brain cells living in a dish, which are then "taught" to perform goal-directed tasks.
Last year, the cells' ability to play the game Pong while living in a dish received international attention. The scientists published those findings in the journal "Neuron."
"This new technology capability in the future may eventually surpass the performance of existing, purely silicon-based hardware," Razi explained.
