[Times of SD ]Bitch Mommy kept getting knocked up to try and stay out of prison Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes and former CEO Ramesh "Sunny" Balwani were on Tuesday ordered to pay $452 million to victims of the blood-testing startup’s fraud, and an appeals court also denied Holmes’ request to remain out of prison while challenging her conviction.
The partner of San Diego-based Evans Hotels’ heir William "Billy" Evans, Holmes rose to fame after claiming Theranos’ small machines could run an array of diagnostic tests with just a few drops of blood.
She was convicted last year of misrepresenting the startup’s technology and finances. She was sentenced to 11 years and three months in prison.
Holmes and Evans, who have two young children, were recently interviewed by a reporter for The New York Times while visiting the San Diego Zoo.
Under the restitution order made Tuesday by Judge Edward Davila, who also oversaw Holmes’ trial and sentencing in San Jose, both Holmes and Balwani are equally responsible for the full amount.
Davila rejected their argument that intervening events contributed to Theranos investors’ losses.
"The victims’ losses occurred at the moment they exchanged their money for Theranos shares," the judge said.
Holmes had asked the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to pause her sentence on April 25, two days before she was to report to prison.
The court rejected her argument that the appeal is likely to result in a new trial, the threshold for her to remain free on bail. The denial of bail on Tuesday means Davila will now set a new date for her to go to prison.
During the trial, Holmes testified in her own defense, saying she believed her statements were accurate at the time. On appeal, Holmes is challenging several of the judge’s rulings, including his allowance of evidence about Theranos’ test accuracy that postdated her statements to investors.
Balwani was convicted of defrauding Theranos investors and patients at a separate trial and sentenced to 12 years and 11 months in prison. He began serving the sentence on April 20, after Davila and the 9th Circuit rejected his requests to remain free on bail during his appeal.
Forbes dubbed Holmes the world’s youngest female self-made billionaire in 2014, when she was 30 and her stake in Theranos was worth $4.5 billion. Theranos, once valued at $9 billion, collapsed after a series of Wall Street Journal articles in 2015 questioned its technology.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] America's largest children's hospital has been providing transgender treatments to children despite promising to stop the practice, according to a new report.
Whistleblower documents released by City Journal on Tuesday purportedly show that Texas Children's Hospital has continued to provide so-called 'gender affirming care' for young gender-dysphoric patients, including the administration of implantable puberty blockers and hormone replacement therapy (HRT).
According to the documents, such procedures were carried out earlier this year, with more future treatments scheduled for June.
The documents also include image grabs of a slide deck that was presented in January 2023 titled 'Medical and Psychological Care of Gender-Diverse Youth', in partnership with Baylor College of Medicine, City Journal reports.
The online publication says that the presentation urged doctors to begin sex-change treatments for minors before puberty and consider sex-change options later.
[NYPOST] Bud Light suffered its fifth straight week of worsening sales drops since the Dylan Stench of Death Mulvaney ...the transexual influencer who single-handedly trashed a major American beer brand owned by a Belgian company, tainted Maybelline and Condé Nast, and then demanded that anybody who called him/her/it a man be arrested... controversy began — stoking doubts about whether the mega-brand can recover as the crucial summer beer-drinking season begins.
Nationwide retail sales of Bud Light sales dropped 23.6% versus a year ago during the week ended May 6 — slightly worse than the 23.3% decline for the week ended April 29, according to data from Bump Williams Consulting and NielsenIQ data.
Sales of other Anheuser-Busch brands also continued to drop, albeit at a slower rate than the week before. Those included Budweiser, down 9.7% versus an 11.4% drop a week earlier; Michelob Ultra, down 2.9% versus 4.3%; and Natural Light, down 2.5% versus 5.2% the previous week.
"This seems to be where the brand’s weekly declines have started to settle, falling in that -20% range over the past few weeks," said Bump Williams, chief executive of the consultancy, said of Bud Light. "I wonder if this going to be the ’floor.’"
Meanwhile, ...back at the comedy club, Boogie sadly admitted that he was a better peeping Tom than he was a comedian... rival beer brands competing against Bud Light — the No. 1 beer in the US, generating revenue of $4.8 billion last year — are grabbing market share at a faster clip as Anheuser-Busch grapples with the fallout over its ill-fated tie-up with the transgender influencer that launched April 1.
Sales of Pabst Blue Ribbon were up 21.6% in the week ended May 6 — slightly more than the 18.9% spike the previous week. Miller High Life gained 10.4% in sales compared to an 8.3% bump over the same time period the previous week, according to Bump Williams and NielsenIQ data.

Depending on which Wally-World you visit.
The price between a 24 can Case of Dylan-lite and Woke Cola is only $3 to $4.
Btw: Woke Cola is now selling 18 can cases at $8.95 and playing with fluid oz and case sizes for other things also.

Any one else getting that sick feeling that none this sh!t is organic? We're supposed to just believe that the entire beer industry has gone insane? The fact all of this is falling along feminist lines is the tell.

Aldi charges about $3.50 a case for purified water. I don’t think it will drop that low. It could be argued that the water is of better quality and has a comparable alcohol content.

Yo Rex - It's called DEI. It is a metric inside of ESG Scores. Company's need to score high in DEI for good ESG Scores. Good ESG Scores are what allow businesses to participate with good standing in Western Liberal Democracy's 'capitalism'.

And definitely remember, when these elite insiders meet up, the general public's disdain for the pushing of deviant behaviors is one more thing they talk about hating us for.

[The Defender] New York City will begin tracking the carbon footprint of household food consumption and putting caps on how much red meat can be served in public institutions as part of a sweeping initiative to achieve a 33% reduction in carbon emissions from food by 2030.
Like those gangsters in Africa who run a refugee camp and actively hunt down and return those who escape, so they have larger numbers for UN food drop offs, so they have more product to profit from. Captives get the bare minimum.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grammes a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be REDUCED to twenty grammes a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.” --George Orwell in 1984

If I were a loyal apparatchik of the Los York City, with this hand I would work hook and crook to gain control of potential camp properties, especially hotels and start filling them with illegals.
With the other hand I would keep them there, no need for dogs or night riders, just a database making sure that once assigned a room, they stay there. Set up a Company Store in what was the lobby, can charge to account with said ID. With established account individuals and families can spend into unrecoverable, generational debt (rent payments plus Company Store x high interest rate). They won't get kicked out, but they could never leave.
Now you have these camps of people. Fed money comes in, Fed food comes in. Well we just take that 500lbs of Fed chicken because Carbon Tax. Sell that chicken to the UN neighborhood restaurants and other enclaves which can afford to pay the Carbon Tax. Also, ballot harvesting the camp, offering a bloc of votes to the highest.....philanthropist; that's it. Get your cut of the narcotics trade, black market sales.
When it eventually burns or collapses, get that insurance money. Somebody somehow successfully sues that money comes out of general coffers not your French Laundry Account.
Honestly, the only difference I see is the wall paper.

So it's not even 'climate change' anymore? Carbon reduction has been substituted.
Where are the peer-reviewed studies showing how much carbon goes into a pound of sirloin?
As for carbon reduction, I've done my part by planting and maintaining eleven all organic carbon-controlling organisms, formerly known as "trees". Plus bushes. And lawn grass.

[KhaamaPress] The provincial Information and Culture Department of northern Baghlan province on Tuesday announced at least three historical sites were discovered in the province.
The provincial Information and Culture Department of Baghlan province in a statement said that three historical sites were surveyed by a team of professionals, including a ruined fort in the Poza Ishan area and two hills in Sheikh Ali and the other in another in the Hussainkhel area of Pul-e-Khumri center of the province.
Karimdad Rahimi, the Protection Director of Cultural Heritage of the province said, "The fort (Kohna Qala) dated back to the Koshanid era and the two hills dated back to the pre-Islamic era."
Since the return of the Islamic Emirate to power, Taliban ...Arabic for students... authorities claim to have discovered hundreds of historical monuments, sites and relics by a professional team of the Ministry of Information and Culture over the past two years.
Meanwhile, ...back at the saw mill, Scarface Al had tied Little Nell to the log and was about to turn on the buzz saw... the caretaker authorities said they have prevented the trafficking of hundreds of historical relics and precious stones across the border.
The statement further added that the ministry is putting every effort to discover historical monuments and restore those sites which are on the verge of destruction countrywide.
This comes as the Taliban group blew up the giant status of Bamiyan ...a place in Afghanistan that used to have some historically interesting statues of the Buddha carved into a mountainside. Then the holy men showed up and now all they have is some big holes... ’s Buddhas during their previous spell in power from 1996-2001, which prompted worldwide condemnations.
That’ll cause consternation among the gun-toting Luddites across the border in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
[KhaamaPress] The Ministry of Public Health announced the four-day polio ...Poliomyelitis is a disease caused by infection with the poliovirus. Between 1840 and the 1950s, polio was a worldwide epidemic. Since the development of polio vaccines the disease has been largely wiped out in the civilized world. However, since the vaccine is known to make Moslem pee-pees shrink and renders females sterile, bookish, and unsubmissive it is not widely used by the turban and automatic weapons set. Currently the disease is only found in Pakistain and Afghanistain... vaccination campaign across 23 country provinces on Monday.
The campaign, which got underway on May 15, intends to immunize 6.4 million kids in 23 provinces.
The campaign came a day after the country reported the first case of the poliovirus of 2023, as it was detected in the eastern Nangarhar The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. According to the statement released by the Public health ministry, a four-year-old child has been identified as having a decrease in the province.
Compared to previous years, the cases of Polio have declined as the two cases were reported last year.
However, Switzerland makes more than cheese... the cases of Polio were more in 2020 as a total of 56 cases were reported. As a result, it would increase the chances of the disease’s recurrence.
Therefore, the Ministry of Public Health has also started a public awareness campaign to inform the masses about the value of vaccination in eradicating polio disease.
Meanwhile, ...back at the alley, Slats Chumbaloni was staring into a hole that was just .45 inch in diameter and was less than three feet from his heavily sweating face ... the Ministry collaborates with international partners, including the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations ...boodling on the grand scale... Children’s Fund (UNICEF), to ensure the successful execution of the immunization campaign.
The Ministry has also urged parents to assist vaccine providers and ensure their children receive the shot.
[Bus Insider] After years of preparation, Chinese car companies are poised to upend the US electric-vehicle market.
But most Americans don’t want or can’t an electric vehicle. And even if they did and could, there isn’t nearly enough electricity produced to keep an increase of the things moving.
Industry watchers say it's only a matter of time before Chinese automakers bring their impressive — and importantly, inexpensive — electric cars to the US. After years of threatening to set up shop on American shores, the companies are closer than ever to making the move to the US.
On their home turf, Chinese companies have already vanquished their American competitors, eating up market share from the likes of Ford and General Motors by offering better quality and less expensive electric cars for shoppers. They've started exporting a slew of brands to Europe too.
As Chinese car industry leaders like Nio and Geely eye a move to the States, the big question is can they overcome political frictions — and will American buyers go along for the ride?
"It's going to be an interesting couple of years ahead to see whether Ford and GM and the like can stave off that Chinese competition coming in," said Martin French, a managing director at the consultancy Berylls. "From what we saw at the Shanghai auto show this year, that competition is very, very real."
China's EV industry has exploded in recent years. In 2022, US EV sales hit a new high of 800,000, while Chinese buyers snapped up some 5 million all-electric passenger vehicles. After years unchallenged, Tesla is about to lose its crown as the world's largest EV maker to a Chinese company, BYD.

Suddenly, the whole demokrat Green Energy setup by the Puppet Show makes a lot more sense.
Interestingly, despite the annoyance in range and power sources away from home, the fatal flaw in EV is the battery life and disposal (pollution remediation costs).
From Tesla: "Replacing a 75 kWh battery for Model 3 costs around $16,550. However, battery costs could change depending on your car’s model. Remanufactured packs cost between $9,000-$10,000, but brand-new batteries might cost up to $22,500. Depending on the process’s complexity, the average cost to replace a damaged battery pack with a remanufactured one would be between $13,000-$17,000."

Chinese tariffs on automobiles is currently 25% vs 2.5% US tariff. It was as high as 40-50%. Either of those numbers on Chinese imports is a good start. Adjust according to need.

[NYPOST] A self-described "anti-capitalist" café and coffee shop in Canada named The Anarchist with a "pay what you can" business model will close at the end of the month after just over a year in business.
The Toronto shop, which opened in March 2022, will close on May 30, its owner announced in a statement, blaming a "lack of generational wealth/seed capital from ethically bankrupt sources."
The café offered drip coffee to customers with a "pay what you can" price tag while charging for other beverages like espresso and tea drinks as well as breakfast pastries to subsidize the lost revenue. It also allowed the public to use its restroom and hang out in the storefront without making a purchase.
The store also carried a selection of radical books, art, pins, T-shirts and more for sale.
[The Defender] An FBI surveillance contractor infiltrated the chatrooms of two airline industry groups opposed to vaccine mandates to collect intelligence on the groups’ organizing activities, investigative journalist Lee Fang reported.
The contractor, Flashpoint, which in the past infiltrated Islamic terror groups, now focuses on "anti-vaccine" groups and other domestic political organizations, according to Fang.
In a webinar presentation for clients last year, which Fang analyzed on his Substack, Flashpoint analyst Vlad Cuiujuclu demonstrated his company’s methods for identifying and entering encrypted Telegram chat groups.
He explained how the company attempted to join chatrooms of transportation workers resisting the COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

Yep, and they've got plenty o' goods on me (as well as most of us I'm sure) Hell, there's even a photo published by AP that shows me taking direct action against one of their preferred militias. Silver lining is they've just too many targets to deal with currently to target all of us in rubes.

The target folders are indexed by threat, but the threat matrix includes a heavy emphasis on domestic political affiliation , and the "wire-tap" file is the intimidation/suppression mechanism for wrong-think that becomes too vocal.
[Daily Caller] Former Attorney General Bill Barr reacted to the Durham report Tuesday on Fox News’ Special Report, calling the Russia collusion narrative a "grave injustice" to former President Donald Trump.
Special counsel John Durham found the FBI used "uncorroborated intelligence" when it launched its investigation into Trump ahead of the 2016 election. The report also found agents failed to maintain "strict fidelity to the law" throughout their investigation. The FBI later made a tacit admission the Durham report is accurate, acknowledging the errors made in 2016.
Durham was appointed by Barr and tasked with investigating Crossfire Hurricane, which was the investigation into Trump’s 2016 campaign that alleged Russian collusion.
"I think [the Durham report] helps him in the short term. My own view is that he will not win the nomination," Barr said. "And I have nothing personal against him ... but I just don’t think he’s the right leader for the Republican Party going forward. I think people who want to restore America should look for a big victory that brings strength into the Congress and allows us to achieve some fundamental changes."

The Durham Report provides even those left-of-center talking heads like Tapper with incontrovertible proof of massive, coordinated, seditious conspiracy involving elements of the DoJ/FBI/IC/Media and the DNC/Hillary. Largest most corrupt political conspiracy in American history, stunningly bold in its efforts to defeat a political candidate, and obviously the basis for the subsequent, endless persecution efforts against a sitting US President.
What beggars the imagination, is, given the scale of this, why no one in the media will not see that those who would exercise this massive and coordinated an effort, would be capable, and expected, to work dishonestly to subvert the re-election of that same President. Given what we now see as certainty about the scale and brazen objectives of defeating Trump in 2016, we are somehow expected to accept that they "wouldn't dare" subvert an election in 2020? The massive, punitive reactions by the J6 Committe, Dominion and others to investigations of obviously concerning irregularities begs the question, and invokes the sage comment: "Methinks the Lady doth protest too much!"
[Gateway] On Tuesday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) introduced Articles of Impeachment against "corrupt" FBI Director Christopher Wray.
"I just introduced articles of impeachment against FBI Director Christopher Wray," Greene tweeted.
"Under his watch, the FBI has intimidated, harassed, & entrapped Americans who have been deemed enemies of the Biden regime. Wray has turned the FBI into Joe Biden and Merrick Garland’s personal police force. Christopher Wray needs to be impeached," she added.
"In his conduct as Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, in violation of his constitutional oath faithfully to execute the office of the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and, to the best of his ability, preserve, protect, and defend, the Constitution of the United States, Christopher Asher Wray continues to materially endanger the justice system of the United States and empower President Joseph R. Biden, Jr., to persecute his political adversaries at will," the Articles of Impeachment read.
"Director Wray has failed to uphold his oath and has instead overseen a denigration of the principles of our democratic republic by utilizing the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a Federal police force to punish or intimidate anyone who questions or opposes the current regime," it added.
Rep. Greene’s office released the following statement, read below:

"Impeachment" and suspension of security clearances should be obvious first steps. I recommend the accountability and criminal prosecution process of these government traitors and thugs be greatly expanded.
The "Befehl ist Befehl" meme should be given the same weight as it was at Nuremberg in the Fall of 1946.
