[JustTheNews] "We know what was going on in Ukraine," he said. "We know what was going on in Russia. We've got a pretty good idea what was going on in the Congo."
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., on Friday revealed that his panel's investigation had uncovered evidence of Biden family business dealings in Africa, Asia, eastern Europe, and the Middle East.
Appearing on "The Great America Show" with Lou Dobbs, Comer reiterated evidence that he and House investigators presented earlier this week outlining the foreign business dealings of the Biden family. That report indicated that myriad Bidens received at least $10 million from foreign parties, many of which were based in countries where then-Vice President Joe Biden had a foreign policy role during the Obama administration.
Prompted by Dobbs to outline the pervasiveness of the alleged dealings worldwide, Comer pointed to those two nations and added that "we know what was going on in Ukraine. We know what was going on in Russia. We've got a pretty good idea what was going on in the Congo."
"We've got reports of things that mainly the President's brother was doing in Qatar and in the Middle East," he continued. "So I believe that we have many more countries to go and as I said, yesterday, I've subpoenaed four banks. And we know of 12 banks that were involved with some of these Biden accounts."
Dobbs then questioned the extent to which then-President Barack Obama may have been aware of any of the Biden family's alleged illicit activities.
Comer indicated that Dobbs was the first individual to press him on that point and proceeded to theorize that Obama had opposed a Biden bid for the presidency on the basis that close scrutiny of his dealings might reflect negatively on his own legacy.
"[E]veryone knows that Obama didn't want Joe Biden run for president," Comer said. "Everyone assumed it was because he was gaffe prone or because of his age. I believe, Lou, that it was because he knew what Joe Biden was doing."
"During the last year of his vice presidency, he knew his son was no good. And he knew this was nothing but a political liability, not just for our country, not just for the Democratic Party, but for Barack Obama's legacy, because a lot of this happened during the Obama administration," he continued.
"So I think that's why Obama didn't want Joe Biden to run for president. I think it's because they knew about this," the Kentucky Republican supposed. "And remember, a lot of these cover ups would have happened during the Obama administration, with Obama appointees, in the in these deep state bureaucracies."
Comer and House Republicans are pursuing numerous investigations into the Biden family's business dealings and the administration's alleged use of governmental power for political purposes during the first two years of the Biden administration.

[REGNUM] The US government has made progress in solving the problem of the national debt ceiling, but a real solution has not yet been found. This was stated on May 13 by American leader Joe Biden , whose words are quoted by the White House press pool.
It is reported that Biden commented on the negotiations between the authorities and Congress at the Andrews Air Force Base (Maryland), located near Washington.
"They're moving forward," the American leader said, pointing to "real discussion." At the same time, the president added that an agreement had not yet been reached.
The head of the White House did not specify what day the meeting with congressmen is scheduled for.
The debt ceiling was established in the United States by law and enacted by Congress in 1917, it allows the US Treasury to issue new government bonds to finance government activities after reaching a certain level of public debt or a certain date.
Earlier , REGNUM reported that the US Treasury Department may lose the ability to fully service the US public debt by June 1 if the US Congress does not expand borrowing limits.
...or they could, theoretically at least, significantly decrease spending — but I realize that’s crazy talk.
At the same time, on April 12, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) presented a report stating that the size of the US government debt will continue to grow and during 2023 will exceed the country's GDP by 22.2%.

Kevin McCarthy said he fears that the Biden administration will "bumble into default." And that is my fear as well. I don't think any of them have any idea what they are doing and how serious the consequences would be.
This will continue until and if they cannot figure out a way to blame the Republicans. The only thing worse than the incompetence of this administration is its blind partisanship.

I am old enough to recall when the National Debt was the issue! Not the Deficit.

^ 99%+ of people couldn't explain the difference between the deficit and the National Debt with the answer on a printed page in front of them.
Politicians rely on that level of ignorance and indifference to fleece us all.

Pubs should not raise the debt ceiling. Cut the budgets. I've a few suggestions where to cut; FBI/DOJ, Education, wasteful special prosecutor investigations, IRS, foreign aid/State Dept., ATF, Ukraine war, Energy, Homeland Security, CIA to begin with

Any spending cuts will be eaten by rising interest on the debt. In a few months, payment on the debt has gone from $600 billion/year to $900 billion and rising.
[NY Post] An ex-aide to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is now working as a senior official in the New York State Communist Party.
Justine Medina, 33, spent a year employed by "The Squad" leader as a political organizer in 2020 and was paid more than $35,000 between February and November of that year, Federal Election Commission records show.
That’s not a great deal of money — probably considerably less than minimum wage when all the hours she worked are accounted for.
Almost immediately after the election, Medina began working as a full-blown Marxist. In July 2021, she was identified as "co-chair of the New York Young Communist League" by the Communist Party newspaper People’s World. The same publication today identifies her as a member of the "Executive Committee of the New York State Communist Party."
Social media records show Medina’s Marxist proclivities were in full bloom before and during her employment with Rep. Ocasio-Cortez.
"Well, I am a Communist, but work for AOC," she said proudly in a tweet from October 2020. "Communism is about equality, democracy, peace, the advancement of workers, the oppressed, and humanity in general," she added a month later.
"It is true the path there will be unkind to those who block progress, but Communism is good and should not scare you," she noted darkly in the same posting.
In AOC’s campaign, Medina was responsible for "organizing & writing policy language with Anti-War Veterans & the Peace Movement," she noted in March.
AOC follows Medina on Twitter and the two have posed for a smiling photo in the past.
Medina was involved in successful efforts to unionize Amazon’s workforce, efforts she bragged about in an article for the Communist Party website, which identified her as a packer at the Amazon warehouse in Staten Island. AOC has long been an Amazon antagonist. She played an integral role in killing a plan by the company to open a headquarters in New York City and has been a vocal supporter of Amazon unionization efforts — though some on the frontline note she has often failed to show up.
Like any good organizer, Medina also has a long history of arrests. She was booked at least twice in June 2020 during Black Lives Matter riots which convulsed the city. In a tweet, she complained cops’ zip ties were too tight. She was also busted that year for attempting to deface a plaque honoring Fred Trump in Woodhaven, Queens, according to the New Yorker.
Medina espoused her beliefs in Communism while working for AOC.
Like many socialists, Medina is a child of privilege.
She is the daughter of Cuban-American lawyer Omar Medina, a wealthy trial attorney out of Tampa with a checkered past. Omar Medina’s license was suspended for 30 days in 2013 after he made false statements on behalf of a client, the Tampa Bay Business Journal reported. That same year he was sued for wage theft — the case was settled. He lives in a five bedroom, six-bathroom, 5,316-square foot manse in Tampa worth more than $3 million. He has donated thousands of dollars to President Biden and Hillary Clinton, records show.
“As for her allegiance to the Communist Party, I could not be further removed from that. It’s a big problem,” Omar Medina told The Post. “My family escaped communism, and my daughter is misguided as to the benefits that political system provides, it flat out doesn’t work.”
Justine Medina dismissed her father as a “rich anti-Castro … liberal,” who “just buy things.”
“It’s frightening. They’re coming out of the woodwork,” said Queens Councilman Bob Holden, a Democrat. “Communism has failed in so many places that it is mind-boggling that AOC’s constituents keep electing her. This is kind of like a smoking gun that these elected officials and congresspeople are out and out communist.”

"...the path there will be unkind to those who block progress". Stunningly honest admission by an openly avowed Communist about the fate of those who would oppose her and all she stands for! When a Communist threatens you, believe them.

"Unfortunately, the lack of generational wealth/seed capital from ethically bankrupt sources left me unable to weather the quiet winter season, or to grow in the ways needed to be sustainable longer-term," the message continues.

[NY Post] Governor Hair Gel is fooked
California Gov. Gavin Newsom has come under fire from a top Sacramento Republican after he declined to support slavery reparations recommended by his reparations task force of up to $1.2 million for black residents.
The Democratic governor on Tuesday argued that dealing with the legacy of slavery "is about more than cash payments," and declined to endorse any specific recommendations made by the task force.
As a result, Newsom has gotten himself in a lose-lose situation, according to Assembly Republican Leader James Gallagher.
"No matter what he does, he’s going to anger part of his base," Gallagher told Fox News Digital.
"It will take an absurd mental gymnastics to require California taxpayers, including new immigrants, low-income workers, and even some African Americans to pay for a wrong committed by other states more than 150 years ago, but that’s the position Newsom put himself in," Gallagher said.
Newsom signed a bill commissioning the task force in September 2020, following a national reckoning with racially-biased police brutality spurred by the police murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
The move made California the first state to embark on exploring potential slavery reparations for black Americans, despite the fact that slavery was banned in the state before it became a part of the US.
"This has been an important process, and we should continue to work as a nation to reconcile our original sin of slavery and understand how that history has shaped our country," Newsom said last week. "Dealing with that legacy is about much more than cash payments." Meaning: "You assholes had to big-time the $ instead of getting a bit now and some other goodies"

If Newsome believes so strongly in reparations, let him put his money where his mouth is. I don't hear any talk about reparations for those who were wounded or to the families whose members gave their lives on the union side to free the slaves. If not, then STFU. This is a stunt to try to get votes.

Wild brawls at a Democrat endorsing convention in Minnesota? What a surprise. Redux Chicago 1968? Let it go, maybe some in the Dem Party will get some sense pounded in their heads.
