[Best Doc] In South Africa, determined people, both men and women, are coming together in a united effort to safeguard rhinos and other endangered wildlife from ruthless poachers. Armed with their courage and dedication, these protectors, some with military backgrounds or as volunteers, are rallying to defend the precious flora and fauna of national parks. Their mission: to combat this pressing threat and preserve the environment for future generations.
Graphic video. On May 10, two black males brutally beat people inside a Los Angeles clothing store during an armed robbery. The victims were repeatedly pistol-whipped. The store's floor was drenched in their blood. One of the victims remains in the ICU. pic.twitter.com/ZDFJZwlNDI

But I think Los Angeles did not recall (or, rather, never got the chance to vote on recall because of--wait for it--inspection of the validity of signatures on the petition! With 42% being fraudulent, if I recall) their Soros DA, nothing will happen to these males (they are NOT acting like men, and so I follow Andy Ngo's example in not calling them men.)

[Daniel Greenfield] When I was working on the David Horowitz Freedom Center’s ’Disloyal Military’ investigation, I predicted that Air Force Chief of Staff Charles Q. Brown Jr. would be selected as the next Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The media is now reporting that Biden will indeed pick Brown to replace Milley. And as bad as Milley was, expect Brown to be much worse.
Under Gen. Brown, the Air Force has become the most woke of the major service branches.
Brown disgraced himself and his uniform during the Black Lives Matter race riots by releasing a video in which he "seemed to barely contain his rage" while ranting "that the ideals of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution ’that I’ve sworn my adult life to support and defend’ have not always delivered ’liberty and equality’ to all."
What horrible acts of oppression did one of the most powerful men in the military experience that made him turn on America? In his own words to People Magazine, "When you get to senior levels, you have reserved parking spots around the base. I was in civilian clothes, I parked in a spot and someone came out and said, ’That slot is reserved for the Pacific Air Force’s Commander.’ And I go, ’Yeah, I know, because I am the Pacific Air Force’s Commander.’"
Someone questioned Brown’s parking space once and all the white male officers must pay.

This is why he was given the job. A politicized military can only ever have one over-arching purpose: targeting the citizenry.

Jackass. He was in civilian clothes and was asked for ID appropriately. It wouldn't have mattered if he was black, white or green with magenta stripes. When you are a racist then everything has a racist motive.

Full circles we go. Remember when there was too many male officers? Ya, they put the 11 women in my flight class into advanced aircraft, pushing out all but the number one in the class. After 3 years none of the women were flying. Babies, staff assignments, marriages, etc... At a million a pop.

It is the DoD's turn for the left's Long March through the institutions until the Pentagon looks just like the rest of DC.
[Independent] Locust infestation could wipe out 25 per cent of Afghanistan’s wheat crop this year as 875,000 children slip into malnutrition.
A swarm of damaging locusts threatens to eat its way through a quarter of Afghanistan’s annual wheat crop — at a time when the Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... -ruled country is plagued with rising poverty, a difficult economy and malnutrition among thousands of children.
It sure looks like Allah is displeased with Taliban rule...
Eight of the country’s total 34 provinces have been plagued by the Moroccan locust, known to be the most economically damaging pests in the world, the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) said in a statement.
"The reports of Moroccan Locust outbreak in Afghanistan’s breadbasket is a huge concern," the agency’s Afghanistan representative Richard Trenchard said. "It represents an enormous threat to farmers, communities, and the entire country," he said.

Yet the US government is still sending $1 billion/year to Afghanistan. That enough money to feed every one of the 40 million 3 grain based meals/day
[aviacionline] The first supersonic light attack and advanced trainer aircraft designed and built in Turkey (Turkiye), the Hurjet, successfully completed its maiden flight.
At 7:35 a.m. (local time) today, the Hurjet prototype took flight for the first time from the runway attached to the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAS) facility. During this first flight test, the aircraft reached an altitude of 14,000 feet and a speed of 250 knots. The flight lasted 26 minutes.
The Hurjet prototype had been undergoing runway tests since March 18 of this year and when it took off today, it became the first military aircraft designed and built in Turkey’s history to take off. The Turkish Air Force (Turk Hava Kuvvetleri) expects to receive the first Hurjets from 2025.
[Dawn] While the Pakistan Polio Laboratory at the National Institute of Health confirmed the detection of wild polio ...Poliomyelitis is a disease caused by infection with the poliovirus. Between 1840 and the 1950s, polio was a worldwide epidemic. Since the development of polio vaccines the disease has been largely wiped out in the civilized world. However, since the vaccine is known to make Moslem pee-pees shrink and renders females sterile, bookish, and unsubmissive it is not widely used by the turban and automatic weapons set. Currently the disease is only found in Pakistain and Afghanistain... virus in an environmental sample from district South Wazoo of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, the Islamic Development Bank approved a financing contribution of $100 million, inclusive of a $35 million grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, to the fourth phase of polio eradication project in Pakistain.
According to the Pakistain Polio Lab, the wild poliovirus Type-1, which was isolated from a sewage sample collected from Qureshi Mohalla in the district’s Wacha Khaura union council, was genetically linked to poliovirus found in sewage sample collected from the same district in September 2022.

[News With Views] The horrific murders that took place in late March at a Christian school in Nashville has led to many investigations — as to the motive, the means and the way the killings were carried out. Audrey Hale, age 28, "identified" as a transgender male, going by the name of "Aiden." Hale apparently planned the carnage for some time, leaving behind a "manifesto" which justice officials have refused to release, in order to protect the "trans" agenda. During her planning, she also created detailed maps of the Covenant School and church building, with multiple possible entry points and it appears the victims were killed at random. The "target" of the attacks were the church — and the school itself — which she had attended as a child.
When Hale "came out" as being a homosexual, her Christian parents refused to accept that. But her parents were apparently in the dark about many things related to their daughter, even though she still lived with her parents at age 28. They were not aware that their daughter identified as "transgender." They believed she once owned one gun, but that she had sold it. In reality, she owned seven guns, three of which she used during the attack, and she trained regularly at a local gun range. Her mother said she left home that day with a red bag, but had no idea that guns were inside or what she was planning.
But Hale shared her plans on social media in advance, stating that "something very bad" was going to happen that day. She had also been posting about suffering from severe depression in the weeks leading up to the attack, and she was being treated for an undisclosed "emotional disorder."

If we would institutionalize mentally ill people again...
But, no, we've all seen One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, and so we know that institutionalization is bad. The shallowness of our perceptions continues to amaze me.

[defenseWeb] Greek state-owned company Hellenic Defence Systems is partnering with global aerospace and technology company Paramount to produce the N-Raven long range loitering munition as the Irix.
The partnership was made public at DEFEA (Defence Exhibition Athens) 2023 this week.
The loitering munition system is called Irix after the word used by Greek poet Homer to describe hawks, and is poised to make history as the first loitering munition produced in Greece, Paramount said in a statement.
The agreement provides for the manufacture of internationally competitive long range loitering munitions in Greece, for the Greek market as well as export to international customers.
Leading Greek state-owned company, Hellenic Defence Systems (EAS), is a strategic partner to some of the largest companies in the international defence industry, with a 140 year-strong tradition of designing, developing, manufacturing and supplying the Hellenic Armed Forces with NATO-type defence systems. The Hellenic Ministry of Finance is the main shareholder and the company is supervised by the Ministry of National Defence.
Nikolaos Kostopoulos, EAS Chief Executive Officer said, "We are excited to be going into production — in Greece — with one of the world’s most advanced long range loitering munitions. In Paramount we found an ideal strategic partner, recognised as a pioneer in loitering munitions".
"EAS and Paramount jointly developed an innovative and advanced product, specifically for the Greek market, called Irix. This is a lighthouse project for the redevelopment and enhancement of the Greek defence industry, which we are immensely proud of."
IRIX is based on Paramount’s N-Raven unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technology. The N-Raven is digitally designed with quick technology transfer in mind to enable government manufacture of loitering munitions technologies in own countries.
The partnership includes technology and skills transfer for local co-production of Irix as well as EAS’ ongoing participation in continued research and development (R&D) of future Irix system upgrades.
