[ToloNews] The Islamic Emirate's Ministry of Defense said that maintenance teams of the Afghan air force have so far repaired more than sixty helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft that were rendered unusable by technical issues.
"More than sixty different aircraft have been repaired by the Djinns engineering and technical team of the Air Force Command," said Enayatullah Khwarazmi, front man for the Ministry.
According to the Ministry of Defense's front man, among sixty repaired aircraft, three transport aircraft (Two An-32s and one An-26) have also been repaired and are now ready to fly.
"Through the efforts of the engineering and technical team, two military An-32s and one An-26 transport aircraft have been repaired and are ready for service," Khwarazmi said.
Military analysts said that the professional personnel of the previous government should be employed in order to make the most use of these helicopters.
"Considering the situation, the development that has occurred in the Ministry of Defense is excellent. We hope that the other developments will advance more successfully and positively," said Hekmatullah Hekmat, a military expert.
"If the Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... wants to use these helicopters, they should recruit the former government personnel, especially skilled and technical ones," said Asadullah Nadim, another military expert.
According to the Ministry of Defense, work is still being done to repair the damaged helicopters and aircraft.
Earlier, the Islamic Emirate said that following the fall of the previous administration, the military of the former government transferred more than forty Afghan helicopters to Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
[SAHARAREPORTERS] The Nigerian Government said it has identified 100 high-risk financiers of Boko Haram ... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality... , in its fight against the menace.
The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola made this known at the 3rd Ministerial Conference on Counter-Terrorism Financing, with the theme, "No Money for Terror", which took place in India, Vanguard reports. According to the minister, the financiers have links to at least 10 countries of the world.
The minister, who was represented by his aide, Abdulmalik Suleiman, on Sunday, said: "The Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit, NFIU, has played a significant role, in supporting all our intelligence, security, and military services.
"The unique ability of the NFIU to work with counterparts in the region and across the world, particularly through the framework of the Egmont Group of FIUs, is a key asset for our country.
"In particular, I would like to take a few minutes to discuss some recent results achieved with the support of our partners. In 2019, the NFIU commenced an in-depth analysis of the financing of the Boko Haram group.
"This analysis, which took almost 18 months to complete, resulted in the identification of almost 100 high-risk financiers and identified links to 10 different countries.
"The NFIU was able to build a thorough picture of the transnational sources of the group’s finance, using intelligence from several countries, including our immediate neighbours, Cameroon ...a long, narrow country that fills the space between Nigeria and Chad on the northeast, CAR to the southeast. Prior to incursions by Boko Haram nothing ever happened there... , Chad, Niger, and Togo.
"Ultimately, the results of the analysis resulted in the arrest of 48 of the financiers and the ongoing prosecution of a number of them."
Presidential front man, Garba Shehu, in March 2021 said the Nigerian Government arrested operators of 400 Bureaux De Change for allegedly funding Boko Haram insurgency in the country, saying the suspects were transferring money to the terrorists.
Nigerians have since been asking the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government to disclose the identities of the suspects, a request the government has repeatedly ignored.
Shehu’s colleague, Femi Adesina said the Buhari-led government is not interested in naming and shaming the financiers of terrorism but in their prosecution.
Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), had also said the government would not name and shame the suspected financiers of terrorism before their trial.
"Naming and shaming of suspects is not embarked upon as a policy by the federal government out of sheer respect the constitutional rights of Nigerians relating to presumption of innocence," Malami had said in a statement.
"It is a product of constitutionalism and the law. It is rooted in the law and the names of the suspects will accordingly be made public at the point of judicial arraignment while the. Trials are judicial processes and not about media sensations.
"Naming and shaming in the Nigerian context must be rooted in constitutionalism. We must strike a balance between constitutional presumption of innocence and evidential proof of reasonable ground for suspicion in making disclosures associated with terrorism funding and financing.
"Where reasonable grounds are established, suspects must be naturally taken to court at which point their identity must be disclosed and the naming becomes apparent. Shaming, on the other hand, is the product of conviction at which point the public is equally judicially put on notice. In essence, naming and shaming within the context of Nigerian law are judicial functions which commence with arraignment and terminate with convictions."
Though the Minister claimed 285 suspects had been charged before the Federal High Court, sources told SaharaReporters that only over 40 were being prosecuted by the government before the court based "on prima facie cases of terrorism."

[SECONDTONONEPAF] Earlier in March, a new shape took to the skies over Pakistan.
Six J-10Cs, bearing the tail numbers 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, and 106, entered Pakistan via PURPA (waypoint) on the northeastern border with China.
Precise and lethal equipped with canards, delta wing design, a soaring 4.5 generation Omni-role, all-weather-capable jet — PAF’s ’Vigorous Dragon’ had arrived to safeguard the country’s future for years to come.
The scenes were reminiscent of 1968, when six French Mirage fighters, tail numbers ranging from 101 to 106 entered Pakistani airspace. Leading the formation was Wg Cdr MM Alam.
Sqn Ldr Hakimullah, Sqn Ldr Farooq F Khan, Sqn Ldr Farooq Umar, Flt Lt Arif Manzoor, and Flt Lt Akhtar Rao, flew at his wings.
Fast forward to 2022.
Leading the formation of Dragons was OC No 15 Sqn, Wg Cdr Imtiaz Rahim Shehzada.
Wg Cdr Bilal Raza, Sqn Ldr Jibran Rashid, Sqn Ldr Hasan Anees, Sqn Ldr Zeeshan Muhammad, Sqn Ldr Ali Qasim, flew on the wings of their leader.
The formation is on its way to Kamra from Chengdu.
Back at PAF Base Minhas, the air is rife with energy. A sense of excitement and pride runs through all, gathered at the occasion to welcome the Dragons. All eyes are glued towards the beginning of the runway to catch the first glance of Dragons about to appear for landing.
Assembled on the tarmac of the base is the senior leadership of PAF under its honorable leader, ACM Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, the CAS PAF.
Finally, the historic moment had arrived. First Dragon bearing Serial No 101, flown by Wg Cdr Imtiaz Rahim appeared on the scene. The six J-10Cs touched down at PAF Base Minhas at Kamra.
Senior air officials observing from the tarmac breathed a sigh of relief and applauded the perfect landings.
As the aircraft appeared on the tarmac, a water canon salute was presented to the incoming Dragons, a tradition followed to welcome the arrival of new aircraft at a facility.
Before Wg Cdr Imtiaz Rahim could disembark and line up his crew for presentation, he found Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, climbing the ladder, to greet him.
"Does the plane live up to our expectations?" asked the smiling Air Chief.
"I’ll have to admit, it is one of the best fighter jets in the world.
With all the work we had been doing in China over the months, improving our tactics in the way we operate the platform, I can safely say that the capability that we have brought back with us is truly phenomenal, far better than what we expected, sir," Wg Cdr Imtiaz Rahim responded.
It’s a significant investment, but in defense, nothing comes cheap. The J-10C is a cutting-edge platform, moving the PAF into a new ball game in terms of operational readiness, in terms of the nature of the platform the PAF was acquiring.
When the "Second to None" team spoke with ground crews and the pilots, it was fair to say that the J-10C was a step in the right direction, something that the PAF had been working towards for a long time.
It was just fantastic to see them arrive, having traveled all the way from China. It was a thing of beauty.
Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force maintained that the induction of the Dragons highlighted the fact that the investments the air force made in capabilities and in capacity was significant.
"The fact that we will be flying the J-10C makes a statement that PAF, has significant defense capability and is willing to do its part in the world, and is willing to meet its obligations," the Air Chief said during the arrival ceremony of the jets at PAF Base Minhas, where the enthusiasm was contagious. There's more at the link, incl. pictures. But it's all one paragraph.

[IsraelTimes] Military says over 2,500 suspects arrested in months-long operation; cites steep rise in settler attacks against Paleostinians, including in usually non-violent mostly peaceful areas
Citing Military Intelligence assessments, the Israel Defense Forces on Monday said it had foiled some 500 terror attacks in the past year, during a months-long operation in the West Bank.
According to the IDF, the army has arrested more than 2,500 terror suspects in the West Bank since late March, following a series of deadly attacks. The attacks have left 31 people in Israel and the West Bank dead since the start of the year, including several soldiers.
The IDF said that of 3,000 individual arrest operations, 550 involved special forces. At least 250 weapons and NIS 2.7 million ($785,000) in cash allegedly intended for terror were seized in the operations.
Meanwhile, ...back at the desert island, Bert climbed the cocoanut tree, looking for ships. He saw none. He looked in the other direction and saw Irene, vigorously scrubbing her backside... the IDF recorded at least 281 shooting attacks and attempts against Israeli civilians and soldiers in the West Bank this year, compared to just 91 last year.
During the operations, around 150 Paleostinians have been killed by Israeli fire, according to the Paleostinian Authority. The IDF says many of them — though not all — were killed while carrying out attacks or during fierce festivities with security forces amid the near-nightly raids.
Much of the operation has been focused on the northern West Bank cities of Nablus and Jenin, long considered a hotspot for terror. According to IDF assessments, some 25 percent of the Jenin refugee camp — where troops have repeatedly come under fire during arrest raids — is affiliated with the Paleostinian Islamic Jihad ...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah... terror group.
SETTLER ATTACKS ON THE RISE
The IDF also said there has been a steep rise in settler attacks against Paleostinians in the West Bank, recording 838 incidents this year, compared to 446 last year and 353 in 2020.
The attacks included stone-throwing attacks against Paleostinians and incidents of vandalism commonly referred to as "price tag" attacks. Perpetrators call them retaliation for Paleostinian violence or government policies seen as hostile to the settler movement.
Of the settler attacks this year, just 14 were considered by the IDF to be "serious" ones, where Paleostinians were maimed or property was seriously damaged.
The IDF did not provide an exact number, but asserted that there were fewer serious settler attacks this year than last.
Only 101 police investigations into settler attacks were opened this year, and just 28 indictments were filed.
The IDF said settler attacks this year were no longer only coming from settlements or illegal outposts considered bad boy, such as the Yitzhar area, but also from supposedly moderate areas.
[IsraelTimes] Organized by Sharaka non-profit, group focuses on women’s empowerment in Bahrain before arriving in the Jewish state.
In an effort to build bridges and promote the Abraham Accords, a delegation of 13 American Moslem leaders landed in Israel last week.
"The conflict between Israel and the Paleostinians has led to a polarized situation in which Moslems around the world feel they can’t even engage with Israel," Dan Feferman, director of Communications and Global Affairs at Sharaka, one of the organizations behind the trip, told The Times of Israel on Monday. "We want to build a relationship of dialogue and understanding, where people can explore and discuss and get to know one another."

[IsraelTimes] Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... -based terror group warns Otzma Yehudit chief that he’ll share fate of far-right minister assassinated in 2001.
The Paleostinian Islamic Jihad ...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah... terror group on Monday threatened the life of far-right Otzma Yehudit leader Itamar Ben Gvir, who responded by promising to "crush" the Gaza-based terror group.
A front man for Islamic Jihad’s West Bank division warned that Ben Gvir’s "fate will be the same as that of Rehavam Ze’evi, the proponent of [population] transfers."
Ze’evi, who advocated for the transfer of Arabs out of Israel and the West Bank, was assassinated by Paleostinian bandidosDeath Eaters in 2001, while serving as tourism minister.
The Otzma Yehudit chief is a disciple of the late krazed killer rabbi Meir Kahane, who similarly advocated for a forceable transfer policy, though Ben Gvir recently distanced himself from that position and now says he only wants to expel "disloyal" Arabs.
The statement from Islamic Jihad also referred to Ben Gvir’s expected appointment as the next police minister, warning it would "accelerate his death."
In response, Ben Gvir said that "the threats of a terror organization won’t deter me. We are determined to restore security to Israel."
He called for the immediate establishment of a right-wing government so that "we can crush the Islamic Jihad."
Ben Gvir has faced death threats several other times over the past year, with the Shin Bet security service announcing in May that it foiled a plot by the Hamas, the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood, terror group to assassinate him.
Otzma Yehudit is part of the right-religious bloc led by presumed prime minister-to-be Benjamin Netanyahu, who has been working to assemble a coalition since his Likud party and allied factions secured a majority of Knesset seats in the November 1 election.
[NPASYRIA] On Monday, the Syrian parliament in Damascus said that The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor... , for more than 11 years, has continued its attacks on Syria and committed brutal massacres against Syrians.
The parliament issued a statement on the 83rd anniversary of Turkey’s annexation of the Liwa Iskenderun. The statement said that Turkey, from the beginning, worked to consolidate the policies of occupation and Turkification on the region, breaking the laws of the League of Nations at the time.
The statement added that these exact Ottoman Turkish policies have been practiced again for the last 11 years.
The parliament pointed out that Turkey has committed brutal massacres against Syrians, provided support to terrorist groups, stolen Syrian resources and bombed civilians. It also has repeatedly cut off water to Hasakah city, depriving a million people of drinking water.
The parliament indicated that Ottoman Turkish practices constitute a clear violation of international law.
This comes at a time when the Ottoman Turkish president threatens to launch a new military operation in northern Syria, under the pretext of protecting his country’s national security.
Turkey has took control of many Syrian cities including Afrin, Azaz, Jarabulus, Idlib, Tel Abyad, and Sere Kaniye.

[REGNUM] Al Jazeera: Turkish authorities require Kurds to leave three Syrian cities
The Turkish authorities demand that the Kurdish armed formations from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) group leave the cities in the province of Aleppo in northern Syria, Al Jazeera TV channel reported, citing its sources.
We are talking about Manbij, Ain al-Arab (Kobani) and Tell Rifat. According to journalists, Ankara agrees to the return of the Syrian authorities to these settlements.
As REGNUM reported , on November 28, White House National Security Council strategic communications coordinator John Kirby said that the US authorities believe that Turkey has the right to self-defense against terrorist attacks, but Washington advocates de-escalation in northern Syria.
