President Joe Biden and his family attended Nantucket's annual Christmas tree lighting - with the tree failing to light up on first go
They spent Friday afternoon munching on cheeseburgers and lobster rolls and taking a shopping trip around town
The president, first lady Jill Biden, Ashley Biden, Hunter Biden, his wife Melissa and son Beau were all gathered on one side of the town square, where the tree was to be illuminated around 5pm
Baby Beau, who was spotted earlier slumped over Hunter's shoulders, was awake and providing some pre-show entertainment, jiggling to one of the opening acts
When it came time for the big moment - the tree didn't react - though was properly illuminated several moments later
Mmmm! Lobster rolls!

The closest I ever got to Nantucket was to take a ferry boat ride there from the mainland. On the way I discovered the fare was not collected unless & until a passenger disembarked on the island. I didn't get off and simply enjoyed the short cruise off the coast of Massachusett, had chili & a cold beer from the ferry's restaurant, took in the sea air and enjoyed the view.
"So Charlie, that cheapskate, sez, 'F-ck it,
I'll live on this rusty old bucket!'
Well, I'd do it, too,
Only, if I did, who
Would make sandwiches?"
"Honey, just chuck it!"
And folksingers say
Charlie sails to this day
Back and forth on the Sound of Nantucket.

With a green skin tone, Joe would look like the Grinch. I am sure that has been done. I avoid all images of his face so I probably missed them. I sort of expected those memes to start as soon as Walmart transitioned the grills section to Christmas.

Weren't they worried that the island was going to tip over?
[Amer. Spectator] Former Vice President Mike Pence has been on a whirlwind media tour over the past week. He has hit CBS News, ABC News, NBC News, Fox News, CNN, and more since the release of his new book, So Help Me God, on Nov. 15.
The tour is either a test run to determine his chances of success in 2024 — or the unofficial beginning of his presidential campaign.
Pence has said that a 2024 bid is a possibility and that he will prayerfully make the decision with his family over the holidays. He has declined to support former President Donald Trump’s run for office, saying in an interview with ABC News, "I think we’ll have better choices."....
Pence, though he has endeared himself to the Left through his decision to refuse Trump’s demands that he overturn the 2020 election during Congress’ counting of the electoral votes, has encountered pushback from the Right over his record on COVID as the leader of the White House Coronavirus Task Force. His critics argue that Pence ceded too much power to Dr. Anthony Fauci and other members of the task force, such as Deborah Birx, to call for business, school, and workplace closures that gravely damaged America.
This week, Pence took the first steps toward distancing himself from the vilified Fauci and defending his record on COVID in an interview on NBC News’ Meet the Press.
Pence drew a distinction between Fauci under the Trump administration and Fauci under the Biden administration. Under his leadership, Pence argued, Fauci was given a limited role, but, under Biden, Fauci was allowed to exercise total power on COVID-related matters....

He appears to be an establishment Politician who can’t make a good decision. He and Liz Cheney can start their own ‘principled political party’ with Larry Hogan.

Another FAILURE by Trump (via his Deep State capo). Trump was elected (like Zelenskyy, lol) because he was not an establishment politician, so he went ahead and asked an establishment politician to be his VP. Trump's decision to bring on John Bolton still mystifies me.

Pence is as relevant as a smushed skunk on a rural state road. Media keeps showing Pence to us in hopes that they are damaging Trump. Essentially, they are attempting to rob us at plastic spork point.

Don't forget Pierre Delecto and Lisa Murkowski.

Success has 1,000 fathers while failure is an orphan. Pence is not the only person trying to distance himself from the train wreck that was the COVID response.
All of a sudden NO ONE is responsible for any of the disastrous decisions that ruined the economy and enabled the most comprehensive voter fraud effort in history.

Please be sure to highlight (bring to the light of day) any other "grave mistakes" that you might discover in your analysis. It's always good to hear from you.

Call it what it really was.
A well planned, joint Social Media - LSD attack. With a goal to censor the real facts and truths of the massive voter fraud and illegal activities of the DC 5th column, conducting a silent coup.

A tactical success. Strategically not so much. The country is now at a tipping point. It has become obvious that our government is not by the people for the people. There is also no lullaby likely to put us back to sleep.

^ There is the school of thought that holds "the tipping point" is precisely what the Junta desires. Makes sense as once we're there, no one will care about fixing blame as we'll all be fighting for our lives individually.

A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
