US Defense Department is mulling a request to send the National Guard to the nation's capital to help police an incoming group of truckers
The truckers are heading to DC to protest government mandates, including vaccine requirements, as part of a trend started by Canadian drivers last month
It's not clear how many long haulers will participate in the US demonstration, but some expect there to be thousands of truckers in DC
The Pentagon said it is 'analyzing a request for assistance from the US Capitol Police and the DC Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency'

How can we break the Posse Comitatus Act? Remember the states voluntarily sent their Guard units before who were under the authority of the Guard commander in DC after January 6.
BTW, even that couldn't be done under the law until after Karina. After the Donks and their media organs blamed everything on Bush (cause the law didn't allow that option), they quietly changed the law.

[PageSix] Who is Natasha Bassett, Elon Musk’s new girlfriend?
Elon Musk appears to be moving on after his September 2021 split from Grimes.
The richest man in the world — who took the money crown from Jeff Bezos last year — was recently spotted with 27-year-old actress Natasha Bassett.
A source claimed to Daily Mail over the weekend that Bassett — who was photographed recently exiting Musk’s private jet in LA — had been seeing the 50-year-old Tesla CEO for “some time” and that they were “friends first and only became romantic after he split with Grimes.”
Here’s everything you need to know about Bassett as rumors of her romance heats up.
Delightful! If the Germans do a thing, they do it thoroughly, including matching attire. The next village over from us in Hesse, back in the day, used to have an annual Country & Western fest every summer, with bands and attendees in full country and cowboy attire, beautifully practiced in all the dances that went with the music. I felt woefully ignorant about what was supposed to be my own culture.

[Gateway] An organizer of one of multiple US trucker convoys that are getting ready to descend on DC says they will be like a "giant boa constrictor," that "squeezes you, chokes you and it swallows you, and that’s what we’re going to do to DC."
Bob Bolus, who owns a truck parts and towing business in Scranton, Pennsylvania, says that they are protesting a range of issues including fuel prices and vaccine mandates.
Organizers of one convoy, called the "People’s Convoy," claim that they have 1,000 truckers ready to participate "right out the gate," but believe it will likely grow as it moves from California to DC.
Bolus says his group is planning to stay "a day or two."

Republicans and Democrats urged Biden to use every sanction in his arsenal before Putin fully invades
Like banning the import of Russian oil? Of course that would raise the point that we are importing Russian oil. That in turn raises the point that under Trump we were an oil and gas exporter. Can't have that.

re: #1 - what he actually said, with sarcasm: Speaking with conservative podcaster Buck Sexton, the former president said: 'I went in yesterday and there was a television screen, and I said, "This is genius,"' Trump recalled. 'Putin declares a big portion of the Ukraine — of Ukraine -- Putin declares it as independent. Oh, that's wonderful.'
'I said, "How smart is that?'" the former U.S. president continued. 'And he’s gonna go in and be a peacekeeper. That’s the strongest peace force… We could use that on our southern border. That’s the strongest peace force I’ve ever seen. There were more army tanks than I’ve ever seen. They’re gonna keep peace all right.'
'No, but think of it. Here’s a guy who’s very savvy,' Trump went on. 'I know him very well. Very, very, very well. Had I been in office, not even thinkable, this never would have happened.'
Trump added: 'But here’s a guy that says, you know, 'I’m gonna declare a big portion of Ukraine independent,' he used the word 'independent' and 'we’re gonna go out and we’re gonna go in and we’re gonna help keep peace.' You gotta say that’s pretty savvy. And you know what the response was from Biden? There was no response. They didn’t have one for that. No, it’s very sad. Very sad.'
Trump also called President Biden 'a man who has no concept of what he's doing.'
Earlier Tuesday Trump claimed that Vladimir Putin never would have invaded Ukraine if he were still president, and said that Russia has become 'very very rich' under President Biden.
'If properly handled, there was absolutely no reason that the situation currently happening in Ukraine should have happened at all,' Trump said in a statement Tuesday. 'I know Vladimir Putin very well, and he would have never done during the Trump Administration what he is doing now, no way!'
Trump hit out against Biden's 'weak sanctions.'

It is 100% correct to say that Biden hasn't the faintest idea of what he's doing and that Putin has completely outwitted and wrongfooted Biden and his inept fools.
Biden and his people are the most incompetent foreign policy administration in our history. They built up our mortal rival China, created a grave threat in our own backyard, destroyed our energy independence and gave us stagflation, and ignored Russia and enabled it to forge an alliance with China.
No one who supports this Mad Hatter and his crew of race & gender-obsessed loons has any right to criticize Trump. It is undeniably true that Putin would not have done any of these maneuvers had Trump not been denied a second term in Nov 2020 due to US election chicanery that exceeds anything seen in Russia.
Biden restricted US oil production & helped send the oil price soaring, giving Russia windfall revenues which they've wisely salted away. Trump did the opposite and caused prices to plunge, starving Russia of revenue.
Biden ignored Russia, blew $5 trillion creating yet more asset bubbles, destroyed our border and focused his attention on mythical "domestic threats" of systemic rayciss and wh's'premaciss domestic terr0rism.
Trump tried to begin weaning us off China, reached out to Russia with one hand while bashing it with the other, built an anti-Iranian balancing coalition with extraordinary diplomatic breakthroughs between Israel and most of the Gulf Arab states, and started to get control of our own border.
Biden's people bray loudly and wield no 'stick' of any real consequence.
Trump said nice things about Putin -- and hit the Russians harder than any president ever has, ordering a counterattack by our special forces in Syria that killed over 100 Russian mercenaries who'd shelled them and withdrawing from the INF treaty.
We and the world would be in far better shape had Trump and crew been in the White House these past 12 months instead of Biden and the rest of his shitshow.

Does anyone even know what this administration's strategic objective is for Ukraine?
Pres. Magoo has said point blank we have no intention of offering NATO membership to Ukraine. That miserable country's once and future comedian-president says he does not "insist" on NATO membership. Neither of them has said a word about the central issue of autonomy for the Russian-speaking pro-Russian Donbas regions.
How can you possibly drive events with a successful foreign policy when you yourself don't even have a clue about what you're trying to achieve?
Nah, how bad was it? It was so bad, Team Biden Fanbois brushed it off as ok because it reminded them of a Simpson's episode.
That's fucking bad; the only people openly wearing Team Biden jerseys nowadays are the fanbois.
Noticing that is not the viewer's fault. In fact, it is kind of our duty. Like, am I a Putin stooge for noticing that perhaps the sign language person for Biden speeches would benefit from having a palsy?

AOC counts down from five before dunking her face in cold water for a few seconds. Text overlapping the video reads: "It is very very cold…and yes my kitchen is messy today deal with it."
Ocasio-Cortez's boyfriend can be heard cheering her on, "Good job, good job."
"It gave me a brain freeze," more text on the video reads."But I must say it worked! Turns out dunking your head into freezing cold ice water is a pretty good way to redirect. Hope this helps someone!"

How about a quote from one of our greatest Russia experts, the architect of containment, George Kennan, in 1998 after the Clinton Admin and Senate GOP Morons first expanded NATO:
"...the Russians will gradually react quite adversely and it will affect their policies.
"I think it is a tragic mistake. There was no reason for this whatsoever. No one was threatening anybody else. This expansion would make the Founding Fathers of this country turn over in their graves.
"We have signed up to protect a whole series of countries, even though we have neither the resources nor the intention to do so in any serious way. [NATO expansion] was simply a light-hearted action by a Senate that has no real interest in foreign affairs.''

[FoxNews] Two Black Hawk helicopters were involved in a training accident in Utah Tuesday. No crew members were injured, according to the Utah National Guard.
"Breaking: We can confirm that two Utah National Guard UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters were involved in a training accident at approx. 9:30 a.m. near Mineral Basin. [Breitbart] An as-yet-unidentified migrant is dead following an incident where a Border Patrol agent attempted to apprehend a group of 20 migrants. The details of the killing have not yet been released.
The Cochise County, Arizona, Sheriff’s Office reported they received information at about 10 a.m. on Saturday morning regarding the death of a migrant near Skeleton Canyon. The incident appears to have involved a Border Patrol agent and a group of migrants, Fox 10 Phoenix reported.
Sheriff Mark Dannels told Breitbart Texas that very little information has been learned at this point. It took two days to process the scene and get the body off the mountain.
“We will begin interviews around the migrant’s death on Wednesday,” Dannels said.
Cochise County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Carol Capas told Fox 10, “Sheriff’s Deputies responded along with Search and Rescue volunteers who discovered that a male subject was deceased on scene. The additional subjects were taken from the area on foot and subsequently transported to a facility for interview purposes and further processing.”
Mexican consulate officials told Tucson.com that five Mexican nationals were arrested in the same incident that led to the death of the migrant. Officials also reportedly notified the Mexican consulate regarding the death.
It is not clear at this time, how many other migrants were involved in the incident.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokesman John Mennell reportedly told the Associated Press that the migrant was shot by a Border Patrol agent, Tucson.com reported.
Sheriff Dannels emphasized that it is not yet clear if the agent shot the migrant or if he was shot by someone else.
“The smugglers around here are out of control,” the sheriff told Breitbart Texas.
The incident reportedly took place about 30 miles northeast of Douglas, Arizona, in the Peloncillo Mountains.
The Mexican government releases a statement contending, “The government of Mexico rejects any act of unjustified violence against migrants.”
The incident will be investigated by the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office, the Department of Homeland Security, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Dannels said.

The move could presage a broader attack on Ukraine after the US said an invasion was already underway there.
Several European leaders said earlier in the day that Russian troops have moved into rebel-held areas in eastern Ukraine after Putin recognized their independence.
But it is unclear how large the movements are, and Ukraine and its Western allies have long said Russian troops are fighting in the region. Moscow denies those allegations.

He doesn't need to. He can just operate through proxies like he has been doing for decades and get the western part of the Ukraine to break off. Peacekeepers go in then in a year or so absorb it into Russia. The western part is the industrial part and the rest of the Ukraine is losing population so fast it will be de-nuded of people in 70 years.
Putin already has what he wants and making the western powers look like idiots is just icing on the cake.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said Tuesday that Germany has taken steps to halt the process of certifying the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline from Russia.
He told reporters in Berlin that his government was taking the measure in response to Russia's actions in Ukraine.
"That sounds technical, but it is the necessary administrative step so there can be no certification of the pipeline and without this certification, Nord Stream 2 cannot begin operating," Scholz said.
The White House has welcomed Scholz's announcement and said it would be following up with measures of its own.
Scholz calls Putin's actions 'unjustified and incomprehensible'
The German chancellor labeled Russian President Vladimir Putin's recognition of the separatist territories in eastern Ukraine "unjustified and incomprehensible."
Speaking at a joint press conference with Irish Prime Minister Micheal Martin, Scholz said Moscow needed to be held to account for its actions.
"Now it is down to the international community to respond to this unilateral, unjustified and incomprehensible action taken by the Russian president. We need to coordinate our approach … in order to send a clear signal to Moscow that activities of this kind cannot remain without consequences."
Scholz said Germany's energy needs would need to be reassessed by the relevant government authority.
"The department of the German ministry of economics will reassess the security of our supply needs in light of what has taken place."
The German chancellor continued to push diplomacy as a way of averting what he called a "disaster."
"In this phase it is important, apart from initial sanctions, to prevent a further escalation and with it a disaster. All of our diplomatic efforts will be aimed at achieving this."

This was the whole point of claiming Russia was going to invade Ukraine in the first place. Get this pipeline cancelled! Hooray for our political elites in DC, they can and do start wars over pipelines. The Syrian war started over a pipeline from the ME oilfields to Europe.
#3
No loss for anyone. The Germans can certify the pipeline at anytime in the future. Meanwhile, they keep purchasing Putin's oil.
Putin could respond to Germany by putting the current pipeline under repair and restricting flow to the West. Better yet, according to Putin, the pipeline is "sabotaged" by the Ukrainians.

problem with Germany getting natural gas from USA is that the gas would have to be liquefied and brought to Germany.
So instead of costing, say, $6 per million BTU at the end of the US pipeline, the cost at the port in Germany would be, say $24/per million BTU
I'm not sure how much Germany now pays for gas from Nord Stream 1 but my guess it is about $9-12 which includes the gas plus the transmission fee

[Townhall] Romania is prepared to accept 500,000 Ukrainian refugees, the country’s Defense Minister Vasile Dincu told reporters Tuesday.
According to a report from Reuters, Dincu said "there are several estimates, but we could receive over 500,000 refugees, that is...the number for which we have prepared alongside the interior ministry and other institutions."
Dincu added that "there is a plan prepared for all large cities, there are areas for this near the borders."
Romania shares approximately 380 miles of border with Ukraine. Reuters noted that the country saw "relatively few" Ukrainian refugees when Russia annexed the Crimean Peninsula in February and March 2014.
"We are also not expecting a major influx coming here now, but one never knows," Dincu told reporters.
NBC News noted that Romania’s Interior Minister Lucian Bode said the government was crafting an "action plan" to accommodate refugees, which included temporary mobile camps in northeastern Romanian border counties.
"We are currently analyzing how many refugee camps we can install in a relatively short time, 10, 12, 24 hours," Bode reportedly told Romanian television network B1.
Early this month, Poland’s Deputy Interior Minister Maciej Wasik told Polish Radio that the country is prepared for a wave of one million Ukrainian refugees.
"We have to be prepared for the worst-case scenario and [we have] been taking steps so as to be prepared for a wave of up to a million people," he stated in the radio interview.

[WND] GIG HARBOR, Washington — Urging CDC scientists to speak out, Dr. Robert Malone and Dr. Ryan Cole reacted Monday to the news reported by the New York Times that agency officials admit they have withheld COVID data broken down by age, race and vaccination status because the American people might misinterpret it.
"This meets the criteria of scientific fraud," said Malone, the key inventor of the mRNA technology platform used in the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. "Withholding data is scientific fraud."
