[NBCNews] Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon, D-Pa., was carjacked at gunpoint in a park in Philadelphia on Wednesday afternoon,
The incident occurred around 2:4at FDR Park in South Philadelphia, where Scanlon had been attending a meeting earlier in the afternoon, said the spokeswoman, Lauren Cox. Scanlon was unharmed, Cox said in a statement.
"She thanks the Philadelphia Police Department for their swift response, and appreciates the efforts of both the Sergeant at Arms in D.C. and her local police department for coordinating with Philly PD to ensure her continued safety," the statement said.
Two armed men approached Scanlon and demanded the keys to her vehicle - a blue 2017 Acura MDX. Scanlon surrendered the keys and one of the two men drove off with her Acura. The second man entered a separate vehicle and followed the first man, Philadelphia police said. Scanlon was sponsor of some anti-cop bills in 2020. She was elected in 2018 courtesy of a gerrymandered district and Dem Propaganda by the local media.

[BREITBART] Illinois Senate Majority Leader Kimberly Lightford (D) and her husband were victims of a carjacking Tuesday evening in suburban Broadview. Someone left the irony on
CBS reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown ...home of Al Capone, the Chicago Black Sox, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel... reports:

The carjackers fired shots during the attack, but Lightford and her husband were not injured, according to police.
Law enforcement said that the carjackers sped off the scene in Lightford’s vehicle along with the Durango.

[JUSTTHENEWS] Nearly $100 billion has been stolen from pandemic relief funds, according to the Secret Service. The stolen money was diverted from the Small Business Administration's Paycheck Protection Program, the Economic Injury Disaster Loan program and a third program created to issue unemployment assistance funds, the agency said Tuesday, according to CNBC.
Over $2.3 billion has so far been recovered, and roughly 100 suspects, from individuals to groups, have been arrested.
The government has released roughly $3.5 trillion in COVID-19 relief money since the pandemic started in early 2020.
If I got my places right, $100 billion is less than 3% of $3.5 trillion, a little high but not shocking. I’d expected fraud would be 20% or more.
The Secret Service, in announcing the arrest and dollar amounts, also said a new national pandemic fraud recovery coordinator has been appointed to oversee agency investigations.
The new coordinator, Assistant Special Agent in Charge Roy Dotson, told CNBC: "I’ve been in law enforcement for over 29 years and worked some complex fraud investigations for 20 plus years, and I’ve never seen something at this scale."
He also said the agency still has over 900 active investigations related to pandemic fraud.
Most of that figure comes from unemployment fraud. The Labor Department reported about $87 billion in unemployment benefits could have been paid improperly, with a significant portion attributable to fraud.
The Secret Service said it has seized more than $1.2 billion while investigating unemployment insurance and loan fraud and has returned more than $2.3 billion of fraudulently obtained funds by working with financial partners and states to reverse transactions. The Secret Service says it has more than 900 active criminal investigations into pandemic fraud, with cases in every state, and 100 people have been arrested so far.
The White House downplayed the statement, saying Wednesday that the estimate is based on old reports. White House press secretary Jen Psaki ...a valley girl who woke up one morning and found she was spokeswoman for the U.S. Department of State under Obama. A new American success story, under Biden she became spokeswoman for the whole administration, and she was even able to get her sister a job... , when asked to comment on the figure, said, "There is no new research, data or analysis of fraud here."
The Justice Department said last week that its fraud section had prosecuted over 150 defendants in more than 95 criminal cases and had seized over $75 million in cash proceeds derived from fraudulently obtained Paycheck Protection Program funds, as well as numerous real estate properties and luxury items purchased with the proceeds.
[Breitbart] Thousands of convicts, moved to house arrest last year, will be able to evade returning to federal prison even after the Chinese coronavirus pandemic has ended thanks to an order from President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ).
The opinion, issued by Assistant Attorney General Christopher Schroeder and published by Politico, will ensure that thousands of convicts who were moved to house arrest last year during the height of the pandemic never have to return to a federal prison cell.
Days before former President Trump left office, his administration issued an opinion that made clear convicts moved to house arrest would be recalled to federal prison after the pandemic’s national emergency order was ended.
“Should that period end, or should the Attorney General revoke the finding, the Bureau would be required to recall the prisoners to correctional facilities,” the Trump-era opinion stated. The policy, authorized by Trump’s CARES Act, has allowed more than 35,000 convicts to be in home confinement during the pandemic.
This week, Biden’s top DOJ officials revoked the return-to-prison provision under “intense pressure” from jailbreak advocates, according to Politico. Now, the thousands of convicts on house arrest, who would have previously been required to return to federal prison, will get to finish their sentences at home.
“We do not lightly depart from our precedents, and we have given the views expressed in our prior opinion careful and respectful consideration,” Schroeder writes:
Since late March 2020 and as of December 6, 2021, [the Bureau of Prisons (BOP)] has placed 35,277 inmates in home confinement through use of all its authorities. As of that same date, 4,879 prisoners were in extended home confinement under the CARES Act, and at least 2,8301 of this group would have to be returned to a correctional facility under the view expressed in our prior opinion if the emergency were to end immediately. [Emphasis added]
…
Based upon a thorough review of the relevant text, structure, purpose, and legislative history — and a careful consideration of BOP’s analysis of its own authority — we conclude that the better reading of section 12003(b)(2) and BOP’s preexisting authorities does not require that prisoners in extended home confinement be returned en masse to correctional facilities when the emergency period ends. Even if the statute is considered ambiguous, BOP’s view represents a reasonable reading that should be accorded deference in future litigation challenging its interpretation. [Emphasis added]

(CNSNews.com) - The U.S. military, as directed by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, on Monday issued an updated policy on prohibited extremist activities by military personnel.
"Instruction 1325.06," as it is designated, takes effect immediately.
The new policy "prohibits active participation in extremist activities and clearly defines what we mean by the term extremist activities," Pentagon spokesman John Kirby told a news conference on Monday:

Awesome, so now they can go expel all the gang members who joined so they could go back home and be a trainer. Right? All the communists? The socialites who are in the service solely as a credential check-mark to obtain civilian control over the military?
[JUSTTHENEWS] Milwaukee County residents are pushing Wisconsin Democrat Gov. Tony Evers to remove a district attorney for his role in connection with the person charge in the Waukesha Christmas parade killings having been released from jail weeks earlier on an acknowledged "inappropriately low" bail.
The defendant, Darrell Brooks, was reportedly released on $1,000 bail about 17 days before the Nov. 21 incident in which six people were killed and dozens more were maimed. The residents sent a complaint to Evers asking that he fire Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm who said in a statement that Brooks’ bail in connection with several misdemeanor and felony charges was "inappropriately low."
"I think it's in his best interest, and clearly, it's in the best interest of the people of southeast Wisconsin to fire John Chisholm and make southeast Wisconsin a safer place," Orville Seymer, who organized the complaint and runs Citizens for Responsible Government, told FOX6.
Evers said he'll take the complaint "seriously," according to the Daily Wire.
Chisolm has endorsed policies that recommend low bail amounts for some non-violent mostly peaceful criminal activity, the news outlet also reports.

Not a judge but a 'Court Commissioner' and yes, CF.
DA probably won't be removed, though. The current Governor, State DA, Milwaukee DA and Milwaukee Judicial Systems are all running out of the same playbook.

Some things take more time. Your then does not, in my opinion, necessarily follow from your if. Some things take the shock election of a Donald Trump, while others merely require a stepwise reduction of lawless actions at the polls.
In the meantime, those who voted for the Soros DAs continue getting a sharp lesson in the real world meaning of their romantic choices.

Amazing isn't it that the same people who are ready to stereotype and demonize "Trumpers" who are not known to be as destructive as BLM or Antifa, have no mental ability to grasp that that 'criminals' are not victims and that there are some sociopaths in any society who look at the world as any predator in nature does.
We are at a crossroads in America. The GOP is more comfortable with violence than voting and plotting to violently overthrow your elected leaders. Do not ignore this. We must mobilize and make sure voting wins over violence. https://t.co/lD1ar3QnCT
[JUSTTHENEWS] Georgia State Sen. Burt Jones (R), who has been endorsed by former President Trump, is running for lieutenant governor of his state on a platform of election integrity as he's pushing for the elimination of drop boxes and a return to voting on paper ballots.
Jones told the John Solomon Reports podcast on Tuesday that drop boxes used in the 2020 election were not legal in Georgia, since the state legislature didn't permit them, but the consent decree made between the Democratic Party ...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects... and state officials allowed them to be used.
While the state legislature legalized drop boxes in the election integrity bill passed earlier this year, a key difference is that the drop boxes must be designated to a precinct, not "spread out all over Metro Atlanta, like they were last time," Jones explained.
