[Daily Mail, Where America Gets Its News] FBI agents stormed the North Port, Florida home of 'person of interest' Brian Laundrie on Monday and hauled away his parents while declaring the area a crime scene moments after authorities called off a search of a nearby nature reserve, saying they have 'exhausted all avenues.'
The FBI tweeted on Monday that it 'is executing a court-authorized search warrant today at the Laundrie residence in North Port, FL relevant to the Gabrielle "Gabby" Petito investigation.'
'No further details can be provided since this is an active and ongoing investigation,' the FBI added. Images taken from the scene show FBI agents leading Chris and Roberta Laundrie, Brian Laundrie's parents, out of the home.
The dramatic development come a day after investigators found the body of a person believed to be his fiance, missing van-lifer Petito, in Wyoming.
Footage from CNN shows a large continent of law enforcement officials arriving at the home on Monday. FBI agents and police moved into the Laundrie house in force around 9.40 am this morning. Five vehicles turned up with officers pouring out after the house was suddenly taped off with yellow police line tape.
Shouts of ‘search warrant’ could be heard. Laundries parents were taken swiftly out of the home and into a black propel carrier. FBI agents lined up outside the door before heading in at speed. One officer said to onlookers: 'Stand back. It’s for your own safety.'

Will be looking for the updated U-tube video on Celebrities that left us in 2021.
Could run 90 mins or multi-parts.
But it does go to show Hollywood is willing to die to get in front of a TV cam to pat each other on the back. Just to say something they think witty, stupid, culturally weird, or politically 360.
All while have dressed in outfits costing what some people make a year.

Is "woke" Hollywood going the same way as the "woke" NBA, i.e. marketing their products in China?
Lebron - Hong Kong protesters need to go home before opening night of Space Jam 2.
The longer answer, is Hollywood has been continually courting the international, especially chinese market since the re-make of Red Dawn.
When Star Wokes was advertised in china the movie poster had to be redone to eliminate various diversity cues, which disney was all to happy to comply with.
They are all Woke, until China is on the phone, they aren't interesting in that Baizuo bullshit, specifically banning any American films which promote that.
Little bit of evidence, Marvel as a line is the premier propagandist of woke, their new comics, their re-imagines, their advertised plans for the movie line. Except Shang-Chi, purpose selected and made for the Chinese market.
But because the Tenants of Woke require absolute brainlessness, the movie tanked, because why would the Chinese be interested in eating leftover Panda Express?
[Hot Air] Joe Biden was taking a well-deserved rest at his beach house (kidding) so perhaps he didn’t notice that the first all-civilian space crew successfully returned to earth over the weekend. On Saturday Elon Musk’s SpaceX completed a historic private spaceflight yet the president hasn’t bothered to congratulate Musk for the accomplishment. Musk hasn’t received a phone call or so much as a tweet to congratulate them.
If Biden isn’t a big fan of Musk, who cares? He should at least acknowledge the accomplishment of four gutsy Americans who ventured into space without histories of formal astronaut training. The spaceflight served as a fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The three-day landmark Inspiration4 mission has raised over $60 million from the public so far. Jared Isaacman, the billionaire who bankrolled the spaceflight also pledged $100 million and Musk added $50 million. That will pay for the treatment of a lot of children.
The world’s second-richest man would like a little attention from the leader of the free world. Kudos came in from all around, including from NASA administrator Bill Nelson, a Biden appointee. He offered his congratulations to the crew multiple times. Nelson is a former astronaut.
[BBC] Muriel Gardiner's interest in the work of Sigmund Freud took her to Vienna in the 1920s to study medicine. There, the wealthy American became part of the underground resistance in the fight against fascism, helping to save countless lives. Her courageous actions would help to inspire a film for which Vanessa Redgrave won an Oscar. What were the events that shaped this extraordinary life?
Early one November morning in a hotel room in Nazi-annexed Austria, Muriel Gardiner was woken by a sharp knock on the door.
Opening it, she found a Gestapo officer demanding to know what she was doing in the country. With her heart beating wildly, the medical graduate politely told him she had been visiting the city of Linz as a tourist. More questions followed but the officer finally left.
Had he investigated further, he might have learned that Gardiner was not who she claimed to be.

The Moron Chip
Deep within the brain of most humans, resides the Moron chip. This
chip, when working properly, is constantly observing the person's
behavior. In the event of dangerous or stupid behavior, it will go into
alarm mode. Historically, this chip may be what helped the smarter
cavemen to not become "food" or "stuff on a rock".
What we have here is a moron chip failure

The resemblance is quite amazing actually, but in race card matters, the truth is no defense it seems.
That assumes the statistics are correct. But we know that somewhere north of a quarter of those reported as dead of Covid-19 actually only died with a positive test for Covid, whether or not they displayed symptoms.
[AP] COVID-19 has now killed about as many Americans as the 1918-19 Spanish flu pandemic did — approximately 675,000.
The U.S. population a century ago was just one-third of what it is today, meaning the flu cut a much bigger, more lethal swath through the country. But the COVID-19 crisis is by any measure a colossal tragedy in its own right, especially given the incredible advances in scientific knowledge since then and the failure to take maximum advantage of the vaccines available this time.
"Big pockets of American society — and, worse, their leaders — have thrown this away," medical historian Dr. Howard Markel of the University of Michigan said of the opportunity to vaccinate everyone eligible by now.
Like the Spanish flu, the coronavirus may never entirely disappear from our midst. Instead, scientists hope it becomes a mild seasonal bug as human immunity strengthens through vaccination and repeated infection. That could take time.
"We hope it will be like getting a cold, but there’s no guarantee," said Emory University biologist Rustom Antia, who suggests an optimistic scenario in which this could happen over a few years. "Imagine if there was a 99.7% chance you wouldn't get cancer, but you were forced to go on chemotherapy just in case."
For now, the pandemic still has the United States and other parts of the world firmly in its jaws.
While the delta-fueled surge in infections may have peaked, U.S. deaths are running at over 1,900 a day on average, the highest level since early March, and the country’s overall toll topped 675,000 Monday, according to the count kept by Johns Hopkins University, though the real number is believed to be higher.
Winter may bring a new surge, with the University of Washington’s influential model projecting an additional 100,000 or so Americans will die of COVID-19 by Jan. 1, which would bring the overall U.S. toll to 776,000.
The 1918-19 influenza pandemic killed 50 million victims globally at a time when the world had one-quarter the population it does now. Global deaths from COVID-19 now stand at more than 4.6 million.

So covid still pales in comparison to the 'Spanish' flu.
But more folks are crowding, and unmasking, but I am still waiting for one documented 'superspreader' event.

A Deeper Comparison.
1st of all.... Stating "As deadly as the 1918-20 Spanish Flu". Is a misleading Media Headline grabbing comparison. We have 3x's the population and 1000x's fast means of transportation to spread it than in 1918-20.
FACTS:
Lets use the Guesstimates of 650K dead from both pandemics. Yep even the 1918-20 650K number was a book authors estimate. Then the overall dead per million for the Spanish Flu far exceeds the Covid-19/21.
Running the US Population for each pandemic and did some basic old school math.
We know the figures are Media driven over-hyped full of issues. But using their numbers against them.
1918-1920
A US population was about 103.# Million.
Using the estimated 650k Death figure vs 103M equals 6.31%
2019-2021
A US population is about 331.# Million.
Using the estimated 650k Death figure vs. 331M equals 1.96%
SUMMARY: 1918-20 Spanish Flu roughly had about a 435% higher death rate per million than the Covid-19/21.
So the US would need 2,827,500 deaths to be as deadly as the 1918-20 Spanish Flu.
INTERESTING SIDE NOTE: Given what we know about 1918, I like to see someone run a computer model of a Covid-19/21 Pandemic in 1918, with ITD projections.

[National Pulse] Karl Eikenberry — a former Ambassador to Afghanistan under President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden — now collaborates with several Chinese Communist Party-funded influence groups seeking to "co-opt and neutralize sources of potential opposition" to the regime and works for a state-run university in China, The National Pulse can reveal.
The sole political appointee to fill the role in the Obama-Biden years, Eikenberry served as Ambassador to Afghanistan from 2009 to 2011. His appointment followed his service as a Lieutenant General in the U.S. Army focusing on Afghanistan, overseeing the training of the now-defunct government’s army and police forces.
Since his departure from the role, Eikenberry has affiliated with several Chinese Communist Party-run institutes and initiatives.
In addition to serving as a senior advisor to the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Defense, he doubles as a Visiting Professor at Schwartzman College housed at Tsinghua University. The alma mater of Chinese Communist Party leader Xi Jinping, Tsinghua University has a history of launching cyberattacks against the U.S. government.
Tsinghua also has a "clear connection between them and the state administration for technology and industry in discussions on what [they] can do to help the national security," according to former Senior Intelligence Officer in the Defense Intelligence Agency and State Department Official Nicholas Eftimiades.
Similarly, Eikenberry is an International Security fellow at Stanford University’s Center for International Security and Cooperation (CISAC). The National Pulse has previously highlighted the center’s deep collaboration with several Chinese military and government-linked entities, including those flagged by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for espionage and blacklisted by the U.S. government.
Eikenberry is also part of a working group based at the University of California San Diego’s (UCSD) 21st Century China Center, which is predominantly funded by the co-founder of the e-commerce giant Alibaba. The China-based firm has close financial and personnel ties to the Chinese Communist Party and its military. It has been flagged as a "tool" of the Chinese Communist Party by the U.S. State Department.
Beyond academia, Eikenberry has also participated in dialogues at the East-West Institute sponsored by the China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF). The organization was founded by the Vice-Chairman Chinese Communist Party’s "United Front," an effort that seeks to "co-opt and neutralize sources of potential opposition to the policies and authority of its ruling Chinese Communist Party" and "influence foreign governments to take actions or adopt positions supportive of Beijing’s preferred policies."
Another event sponsor — the China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC) — has been flagged by the U.S. government as a United Front group operating under the auspices of China’s military.

"Prior to his arrival at Stanford, he served as the U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan from 2009 until 2011. Before appointment as chief of mission in Kabul, he had a thirty-five year career in the United States Army, retiring h lieutenant general. His military operational posts: commander and staff officer with mechanized, light, airborne, and ranger infantry units in U.S., Hawaii, Korea, Italy, and as the Commander of the American-led Coalition forces in Afghanistan. He held various policy and political-military positions, including deputy chairman of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Military Committee in Brussels, Belgium; director for Strategic Planning and Policy for U.S. Pacific Command at Camp Smith, Hawaii; and assistant army and later defense attaché at the United States Embassy in Beijing."
The last is most interesting.
[National Pulse via Citizen Free Press] U.S. taxpayers have been footing the bill for Chinese military-linked studies for over a decade, a National Pulse investigation has revealed.
Various National Institutes of Health agencies — including Anthony Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases — have funded over 250 studies authored by researchers at institutions controlled by China’s People’s Liberation Army, The National Pulse can exclusively reveal.
Following a unique investigation into the origins of scientific research papers, the whopping level of collaboration with the Chinese military will further concerns in the United States that the political class has surrendered to the Chinese Communist Party. Last week it emerged that the ranking General in the U.S. Armed Forces agreed to tip off China in advance of a U.S.-led attack.
The unearthed studies, from the National Institutes (NIH) online database, expand upon the People’s Liberation Army’s (PLA) ties to the Wuhan Institute of Virology unearthed by The National Pulse.
U.S. TAXPAYERS FUNDING THE PEOPLE’S LIBERATION ARMY.
Of 265 studies identified by The National Pulse, the Chinese military entity most frequently appearing on studies funded by the NIH is the Beijing-based PLA General Hospital, a subsidiary of the army’s Joint Logistics Support Force of the Central Military Commission.
A now-deleted informational site about the facility notes it is "the largest comprehensive hospital in the whole army" that is "responsible for the medical and health care tasks of the leaders of the state and the military commission."
[FOXNEWS] Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, travelers stopping by America's most expensive gas station reacted to the soaring prices and more general inflation gripping U.S. consumers. Y'all keep votin' Democrat now. They'll fix it for ya, just like they've been doing.
"A little insane, right?" one man traveling through Mendocino, a small coastal city in northern California with beautiful views, told Fox News.
Another man agreed.
"It’s a problem," he said. "The price of everything is going up."
Schlafer’s Auto Body & Repair, the only gas station in Mendocino, charged $6.74 a gallon — the highest in the nation — at the time of Fox News' interviews. The average price for gas in California is $4.39, over a dollar more than this time last year, and the national average is $3.20.
One of two employees who works at the nearly 100-year-old independent station, Joe, told Fox News the station has to charge high prices.
"Our volume is very low," he said. The employee told Fox News the station has to purchase a $35,000 load in 10 days.
"If we're paying $4 a gallon for gas, if it's not marked up, we're not going to be able to pay for that," he said.
Nationally, prices have climbed 5.3% over the past year and 0.3% in August, according to the most recent Consumer Price Index Summary. Gas prices rose 2.8% and food prices rose 0.4%.
"It’s tough, it’s hard for people," one woman told Fox News. "It’s hard for the elderly to afford."
Her friend, who lives in an RV with her husband, said: "We’re on a fixed income so we don’t have money to spend like this."
Bill Kemper has been coming to Mendocino for years.
"It’s crazy, it's terrible, it's not necessary," he told Fox News.
"I’m retired myself so I live on a fixed income. So these things matter to me and my generation," Kemper continued. "I worked hard like everybody else in my situation did to be able to retire, but if prices keep escalating like it is, it’s going to make it very difficult for everybody in California and in the country as well."
