[Atlanta Journal-Constipation] An investigation into alleged corruption at the U.S. Penitentiary in Atlanta has led federal officials to ban several prison staffers and nearly empty out the prison, transferring about 1,100 offenders to correctional facilities in other states , The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has learned.
As of Friday, 134 inmates remained inside the Atlanta prison, according to its official website. Back in March, it had more than 1,800 inmates. Employees have been told that ultimately all prisoners from the penitentiary and inmates at the adjacent minimum security camp will be transferred.
The prison went into an institutional lockdown on June 22 after receiving a "serious threat" and an institution emergency was declared, a staff memo obtained by the AJC states. Two days later, an official with the Federal Bureau of Prisons told the staff in a follow-up memo the lockdown was being extended after investigators discovered a "prevalence of narcotics and cellular devices being used by the inmate population."
That same day a prison teacher found 24 cell phones, 30 chargers, ear buds, Under Armour long underwear, wrapped bundles of a "leafy substance," weed grinders, assorted chains and necklaces and one bottle of air freshener. And that was just in the Education Department.
A little more than two weeks later, BOP sent out memos notifying staff that four senior officers, along with one wage supervisor, had been barred from the federal pen and should not be allowed entry "under any circumstance."
They were barred "in the interest of the efficiency of the service," the memos stated.
To employees at the prison, though, the opaque wording concealed nothing. One complained that the Bureau of Prisons had "gone nuclear" in rooting out problem employees, while others said an overhaul was long overdue.
"We’ve been shouting from the rooftops for years and they didn’t do a damn thing," said one longtime employee, who fears losing his job if his identity were revealed. "It’s been a long time coming."
Inmates were transferred out the last week of July.
The Bureau of Prisons did not respond to a request for comment.
The southeast Atlanta complex is a medium-security prison for men. The complex also has a detention center for pre-trial detainees and inmates being held for transfer, as well as an adjacent camp for minimum security inmates.
Evidence has piled up in recent years about lax security at the complex, with lapses blamed at times on inadequate staffing. Tales of raucous parties and free-flowing contraband, though, pointed to staff complicity.
[EN.ALGHADEERTV.NET] A sixth-grade student poisoned and killed a private school security guard to steal money from the school’s safe, according to the Egypt Independent.
What a precocious lad!
Authorities in Sohag revealed that the guard was killed and the school’s finance office was robbed by a student. Names of the victim and the accused were not released.
According to reports, the student confessed to the crime. He fed the guard koshary, a traditional Egyptian street food, containing rat poison in order to steal a safe that he kept in his office.
The student took advantage of a friendly relationship with the victim and offered to buy him lunch. After eating, the guard fell to the ground soon after and died.
The Balina Police Department received a call from the school’s owner, saying that a body had been found and that computers, surveillance equipment, and a safe containing over $40,000 (650,000 Egyptian pounds) were gone, the Egypt Independent reported.
Security cameras from nearby properties caught the boy poisoning the guard. He was arrested and immediately confessed to committing the murder and theft.
The accused confirmed that while he was at school to pay the year’s tuition fees, he saw the large sums of money inside the school safe and decided to steal it.

The whole purpose of jails was an alternative to offing sociopaths. Jail was never to be an issue of dignity. For those not yet convicted, fine Sheriff. Those convicted are not entitled to dignity. Their victims were.

Dane County is primarily Madison, Wisconsin ("90 square miles surrounded by Reality, where 'Common Sense' goes to die") along with rural 'bedroom communities' (where the liberals with more money live) and a few actual agricultural areas in the west part of the county.
The Sheriff is probably not trying to be a pansy, he's just a product of the system.

[France24] French Resistance member Pierre Georges shot dead a German naval midshipman on August 21, 1941, at Barbès-Rochechouart metro station in occupied Paris — the first deadly attack on the occupiers, which prompted the Nazis to kill hundreds of hostages they were holding in the occupied zone. FRANCE 24 looks back at this seminal moment for La Resistance, 80 years on.
The crisp bureaucratic prose of the Paris police report captures the daring and drama: "This morning, at 8:05am on August 21, at Barbès-Rochechouart station, line 4, at the platform for the Porte d’Orléans direction, a German naval officer, Mr. [Alfons] Moser, was shot twice as he was getting into the first-class carriage. [...] An individual standing at the door of the carriage fired two shots from a gun, through his pocket, at the officer approaching the other door. The perpetrator and another individual quickly got off the train, ran to the exit, jumped over the barriers and fled the scene."

Well, the nature trail they were on is in an area named "Devil's Gulch". Possibly for a reason.

My boy is up in Mammoth mountain and he warned us while hiking about Carbon monoxide that comes out in some areas and displaces the oxygen. You get tired, dizzy, then dead in fairly rapid order if you aren't paying attention. I would think the autopsy can spot that sort of thing.

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] A conservative talk radio host from Tennessee who had been a vaccine skeptic until he was hospitalized from COVID-19 has died. He was 61.
Nashville radio station SuperTalk 99.7 WTN confirmed Phil Valentine’s death in a tweet on Saturday.
Valentine had been a skeptic of coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... vaccines. But after he tested positive for COVID-19, and prior to his hospitalization, he told his listeners to consider, "If I get this COVID thing, do I have a chance of dying from it?" If so, he advised them to get vaccinated. He said he chose not to get vaccinated because he thought he probably wouldn’t die.
After Valentine was moved into a critical care unit, his brother Mark said the talk radio host regretted that "he wasn’t a more vocal advocate of the vaccination."
"I know if he were able to tell you this, he would tell you, ’Go get vaccinated. Quit worrying about the politics. Quit worrying about all the conspiracy theories," Mark Valentine told The Tennessean on July 25.
"He regrets not being more adamant about getting the vaccine. Look at the dadgum data," Mark Valentine said.

Reminds me of the lie that hydroxycloroquine is fish tank cleaner.
Ivermectin is is a very safe drug for humans. (Probably used in animals too, like a lot of drugs) The doctor who discovered it over 30 years ago was awarded the Nobel prize for it’s discovery. There is mounting evidence about it’s efficacy for Covid. That’s probably why they are doing such a hit job on it. If there is a pretty good, safe therapeutic then emergency use authorization for a “vaccine” is not needed. Perhaps also why there is a mad rush for full approval of the vaccine.
Here’s some peer reviewed science from the American Journal of Therapeutics:

FDA cannot legally issue an emergency approval of the vax if there are treatments available.
Also, this is blatantly dishonest. Ivermectin has human indications approved by the FDA. Like many drugs, it also happens to have veterinary indications.

'You are not a cow!'
ivermectin 'is not an anti-viral'
All nominally true, however...
Humans and cows are both mammals which means they have a lot in common, from gross physical anatomy down to cellular structures, and metabolic pathways.
Nobody said ivermectin was an anti-viral drug. If I understand correctly, it has an anti-inflamatory effect which comes in handy when dealing with parasites and other invaders.
Given all the bad public health messaging, I hope someone is taking notes because Covid is going to be a textbook case of how not to do public health.

SteveS: When Satoshi Omura went on youtube to talk about Ivermectin and antiviral properties, he got censored.
So... we're lied to continually by the Technogarches, told "shut up redneck..." but the censorship falls on a smart guy from one of the supposedly smart races with a Nobel Prize that he didn't get for a horse dewormer.
All of this shit is politics from the people who think politics is just another way to make war.

All we need to know it is working. I have seen the results myself. Works very fast as well(within 24 hours). So now they will shut it down to control people. First do no harm, yea right.
#13
as with a lot of treatments, taking to high a dosage of ivermectin or taking it while also taking drugs which are antagonistic to ivermectin, e.g., blood thinners, could be dangerous
it is true that some studies are underway on use of ivermectin as a therapy for covid
it is true that some results of these studies are positive
it is true that studies take too long and this is frustrating

eSwatini is just Swaziland with a bad dye job, hoping the new haircut will help her find a swell sugar daddy.
[All Africa] The regional body has essentially ignored the plight of the emaSwati who continue to suffer under the brutal reign of King Mswati III, activists say."This is a regional problem. We have no confidence in any of the African organizations that should be taking a lead in this particular matter. They are turning a blind eye ... so we are certainly not happy [with the lack of solidarity]. This is why we are looking at different avenues."
So says Qhawekazi Khumalo, 37, spokesperson of the United eSwatini Diaspora, a non-governmental organization (NGO) that advocates for democratic governance and human rights ...which are usually entirely different from personal liberty... in the country. Khumalo, who is a member of the South African chapter of the Swazi Lives Matter global solidarity movement, says the United Nations ...where theory meets practice and practice loses... High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) must execute its mandate to protect human rights by taking decisive action against violations taking place in eSwatini.
Speaking at an eSwatini solidarity march to the UNHCR's regional office in Pretoria on 13 August, Khumalo said: "No matter how small [eSwatini] is, we are all part of the human family and surely we deserve the same freedom that everybody enjoys."
At a Southern African Development Community (SADC) troika summit of the organ on politics, defence and security cooperation that was held in Lilongwe, Malawi, on 16 August, President Mokgweetsi Masisi of Botswana only afforded two paragraphs to the situation unfolding in eSwatini. He simply said the ministerial and technical fact-finding mission sent on 4 July and again from 15 to 22 July had completed its assignment and the report had been shared with King Mswati III for consideration.
The fact-finding mission, which purported to speak to all "stakeholders", ignored eSwatini's banned main opposition party, the People's United Democratic Movement (Pudemo).
Lamenting the lack of time, resources, effort and depth of the mission's efforts, Khumalo said: "If you are not able to consolidate everybody who speaks on this system and speaks on change, then what's the point?"
A BOYS' CLUB
Pudemo president Mlungisi Makhanya says the movement has been disappointed by the indifference of the governments in the region as well as SADC.
"What SADC has shown is that it has no interest in the citizens of the region. It is only a boys' club where the leaders, not the people, are what matters. When they approached the issue of Swaziland, what was foremost on their minds was how to serve Mswati and his murderous regime. They have no interest in the killed people of Swaziland, the multitude of people who continue to lie in hospitals and those who continue to languish in Mswati's jails. Their interest is regional stability at the expense of the human rights of the people of the region," he said.
The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (Numsa), which was present at the march along with shack dwellers' movement Abahlali baseMjondolo and the South African Federation of Trade Unions, called on progressive organizations to support eSwatini's citizens to achieve their demands in the face of King Mswati's brutally violent mostly peaceful regime.
The death toll from #Haiti's #earthquake this month has risen to more than 2,200, with 344 people still missing, the country's civil protection agency said.https://t.co/gOerbwkLig
[EN.ALGHADEERTV.NET] Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on Sunday signed a decree imposing sanctions on Andriy Derkach, the Ukrainian politician accused by the United States of being a Russian agent and interfering in U.S. elections, the presidential office said.
The sanctions include an asset freeze, a ban on capital withdrawals, the revocation of Derkach’s licences, restrictions on him transferring resources of any kind, and other measures.
A top Ukrainian security official said in a briefing on Friday that Ukraine was sanctioning Derkach, along with members of the Russian military and Russian judges.
Derkach has previously denied wrongdoing and said he was being targeted for exposing corruption.

Stages of Vaccine Development and Testing
1.Laboratory and Animal Studies
Exploratory Stage, 2-4 years
2.Pre-Clinical Stage, often lasts 1-2 years
Many candidate vaccines never progress beyond this stage because they fail to produce the desired immune response.
3.(Investigational New Drug)IND Application
A sponsor, usually a private company, submits an application for an Investigational New Drug (IND) to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The sponsor describes the manufacturing and testing processes, summarizes the laboratory reports, and describes the proposed study. An institutional review board, representing an institution where the clinical trial will be conducted, must approve the clinical protocol. The FDA has 30 days to approve the application.
sorry to post again, but it looks like a minimum of 3 years and 30 days to get a "vaccine" approved by the "FDA"
I have wondered how far the immunity extends. Can the FDA be sued? Your doctor? Pharmacist? Anyone know?
Lawsuit could be as simple as failure to provide adverse reaction info (the insert in the box is blank if you can believe it) which means failure to secure informed consent.
This product has not been approved or licensed by FDA, but has beenauthorized for emergency use by FDA, under an EUA to prevent Coronavirus
Disease 2019 (COVID-19) for use in individuals 12 years of age and older; and
• The emergency use of this product is only authorized for the duration of the
declaration that circumstances exist justifying the authorization of emergency
use of the medical product under Section 564(b)(1) of the FD&C Act unless the
declaration is terminated or authorization revoked sooner.
Obviously these things can be faked or edited rather easily...but that is the .gov
Grab your Mortan's, because nearly everyone is taking this as a legally available medicine like what you see on TV, so perhaps that link is uncorroborated as of this time.
