[ToloNews] The Afghan delegation in Washington was told that the US will provide 37 Black Hawk helicopters and two A-29 Super Tucano fixed-wing attack aircraft to Afghanistan, sources told TOLOnews on Monday.
Currently, Afghan forces have more than 160 helicopters and aircraft.
On Monday, Abdullah Abdullah ...the former foreign minister of the Northern Alliance government, advisor to Masood, and candidate for president against both Karzai and Ghani. Dr. Abdullah was born in Kabul and is half Tadjik and half Pashtun. He also held the meaningless salaried sop position as CEO of Afghanistan, while Ghani was president... , the chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation, at a presser said that the US will end its military presence in the country but will continue its assistance to Afghanistan and the Afghan air forces.
"A new chapter has been opened in US and Afghanistan relations," he said.
In his meeting with the Afghan delegation, US President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. We hold these truths to be self-evident. All men and women created ... by the — you know — you know, the thing... promised the Afghan leaders a "sustained" partnership even as he moves to accelerate winding down the US’s longest war in Afghanistan.
President Ghani and Chairman Abdullah also met at the Pentagon with US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.
While Biden vowed that the US was committed to assisting Afghanistan, he also insisted that it was time for the American military to step back, according to the News Agency that Dare Not be Named report.
On Friday, President Ghani also said that Afghans will not be compelled to submission by force and that the Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... should agree to a ceasefire and enter a political process.
[Garowe] Authorities in Kenya have reported a mass exodus of youths from the al-Shabaab ...... Somalia's version of the Taliban, functioning as an arm of al-Qaeda... group, where they had reportedly joined in the past few years, amid an ongoing crackdown to tame the Lions of Islam from waging attacks in the country.
This year alone, authorities told Voice of America, at least 350 youths have dumped the Somalia-based al-Shabaab Lions of Islam and are now being reintegrated into their respective families. The defections mostly took place along the coastal strip of the East Africa nation.
At the moment, reports indicate, only a few youths from the coastal region are crossing over to Somalia to join the bully boys. This, officials said, is informed by counterterrorism strategies that have been put in place by security forces in Kenya.
Kenyan counterterrorism officials are in the county of Mombasa this week to help sensitize the community against violent mostly peaceful extremism and to assist former al-Shabaab fighters. Their efforts are targeting six counties directly affected by the terror group’s activities along the Kenya-Somalia border.
Canon Harun Rashid, chief officer in charge of preventing violent mostly peaceful extremism at Kenya’s National Counter Terrorism Center, said the center is processing more than 300 former al-Shabaab fighters who are seeking to re-enter society.
"It's not just a blanket returning program," Rashid said. "All these individuals who are coming in, there is a process of filtering them and understanding the kind of crime they have committed, and the legal system is also waiting to see prosecutable areas once these returnees are put into such a program. Then there is the sensitization part of it, the deradicalization part of it."
Reports still indicate that there are dozens of Kenyan youths still fighting alongside the Lions of Islam in Somalia. The group is fighting to topple the fragile UN-backed Somalia administration now under the leadership of President Mohammed Abdullahi Farmajo.
The security officers need "to understand the radical drivers, to understand the legitimacy behind the turbans calling for their agenda," Rashid said.
Nairobi-based security analyst Richard Tuta said Kenyans who joined al-Shabaab could return to Kenya if the government accepted them.
"Remember, some of these young people did not go there because they were radicalized," he said. "They went there because of other factors — like, for instance, to get a source of income, because one of the ways used to induce them to cross over is because they are promised even to be paid in dollars. So when the government gives them an amnesty, it makes it easier for them to make a comeback."
Munira Hamisi, head of youth affairs and community empowerment in the county of Mombasa, said her county was ready to provide economic opportunities to more than 100 youths who return from Somalia.
"As a department, we have a Mombasa County revolving fund that has an economic stimulus package for our young people, where youth-led business licenses have been waived," she said. "We also have a revolving fund where we are giving out soft loans to businesses that are owned by young people and women."
The coastal strip is one of the worst affected by the al-Shabaab raids, with the group targeting areas in Boni Forest within Lamu County. Currently, the Kenya Defense Forces are running Operation Linda Boni which has largely succeeded.
Also greatly affected are Wajir, Mandera, and Garissa counties which border Somalia in the northeast. Last year, al-Shabaab Lions of Islam raided a US Naval Base at Manda in Lamu, killing three American nationals including a member of the forces.
[LIBYAREVIEW] Libya’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Najla al-Mangoush, took part in the ministerial meeting of the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS, which took place in Rome, on Monday. The meeting was headed by Italian Foreign Minister, Luigi Di Maio their American counterpart, Antony Blinken, and representatives of 83 other members. In her speech, al-Mangoush stressed that this meeting confirms the determination "to do our duty to protect our homelands from an bully boy organization that destroyed cities and villages, plundered homes, and killed innocents."
She reviewed the difficult and decisive stages that Libya went through due to ISIS during the previous years. As well as security and military efforts undertaken in different cities, until it was eliminated in the city of Sirte.
She pointed out that Libya is one of the countries that had a prominent role in curbing the role of ISIS in the region, "the Libyans faced several battles in the west, east and south, which cost the Libyan people lives, property, gear, etc."
Al-Mangoush explained that this terrorist organization’s reliance on weak security coordination between countries, "makes us seek to intensify cooperation to bridge security gaps by cutting off its sources of funding, supporting security agencies and border guards, exchanging information and joint cooperation in preventing illegal immigration flows, and providing all that is necessary to eliminate ISIS as much as possible."
The FM also noted the positive developments taking place in Libya today will enhance Libya’s stability, and the stability of neighbouring countries. She added that the new executive authority is responsible for preparing the way for presidential and legislative elections, set to be held on 24 December 2021.

Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. A 24-year-old man
...that’d be crazy Somali asylum seeker Jibril A., or perhaps his name is Abdirahman J. — sources disagree...
stole a knife from a store in the city of Wurzburg and started attacking people. The suspect stabbed three women to death and injured seven other pedestrians. It is unclear what his motives were.
Chia Rabiei, without regard for his own safety, engaged the attacker in a physical fight. A viral video caught how with the help of his backpack, he was able to keep his opponent at bay and managed to stop him from harming more people until local police forces arrived.
"He stabbed a young man who was sitting on a bench and was unaware of what was going on, right before my eyes. I think he stabbed him four to five times," Rabiei said in an interview with Rudaw’s Fuad Raheem.
When I saw this, I understood that this man would attack anyone who stood in his way. I lost all fear during that moment and approached him," Rabiei continued.
The 42-year-old Kurdish father and refugee from Mahabad has been living in Germany for the past 18 months. He used to be a taxi driver, but currently lives in a refugee camp and is finishing his German language courses.
Though many applaud Rabiei's courage, he stressed the importance of his intentions behind the action.
"I get thanks from everyone. However, some men learn by reading. A few learn by observation. The rest have to pee on the electric fence for themselves... I did not do this to earn a medal, I did it for humanitarian reasons. I had no other reason for doing this," Rabiei explained
Markus Soder, the Bavarian Minister-President, has opted to award Rabiei with a medal of bravery.
"You are brave enough to intervene even when it is not your responsibility and even at the expense of your own well-being," Soder acknowledged.
"However dark this day may seem, this gives us a glimmer of hope."

So why is the Democrat Leadership so silent?
When was the last time any of the Democrat Leadership spoke out against such racially charged Black Congressional Leadership and/or BLOM Hate Speech and comments?
Having so far lived thru the Black Panthers (1960-1990's) call to kill whitey, OBAMA's (2008->) Lets Polar-bear White seniors, and now watching the biden, harris, pelosi (2020 - >) era of attack Whitey and Asians era. I have to wonder why the Democrat Leadership has been so soft spoken When & If at all, the last 20+ years of such racism?
Is it because the Democrat leadership condones and quietly supports the Black Radical movement (BLOM) of pimping race hate, because it still delivers votes come election day?

A strong reason to continue election audits as most likely these elections have been stolen for a long time. We might ought to go back and see if Hussein was really elected.

with respect to Michelle Bachman
I agree that some of her advocacy was off the deep end. However, to her credit, she and her husband were foster parents to 20+ young women and seemed to have done a good job on this.
Also she is a former beauty pageant Miss Congeniality winner.

[Rudaw] Salahaddin province on Monday announced the return of 200 displaced families from the province and said all camps in Salahaddin have been closed, the deputy governor confirmed to state media on Monday.
Muhammad Mahmoud Hussein al-Jubouri told state media "the displaced have been returned to their areas in al-Awja, south of the center of Tikrit ...birthplace of Saddam Hussein... and the area of al-Rifayat in Balad district."
Jubouri said the local government is making special efforts to restore stability to liberated areas by restoring basic services, especially in the south of Salahaddin province.
Almost 200 families in al-Jada camp in Nineveh province have returned to their homes in djinn-infested Mosul ... the home of a particularly ferocious and hairy djinn... and Salahaddin, the Iraqi Ministry of Migration and Displacement said earlier in June.
Last year, the Iraqi government began a push to close 17 camps around the country, three years after the defeat of ISIS, including in the Kurdistan Region.
The government has been criticized for this policy. Rights monitors say returns must be voluntary.
Many displaced Iraqis are reluctant to return home because of continuing violence in their home areas, a lack of reconstruction, and little in the way of basic services. Some who voluntarily left the camps to salvage their homes and livelihoods have been forced to return to the camps, unable to piece together the basics.

[BESAcenter] ...Hamas aims to kill as many Israeli civilians as possible, but its rockets place both Israelis and Palestinians in peril, because many of those rockets—in this case 680—misfire and explode inside Gaza. The death and destruction caused is, of course, usually blamed on Israel. The question addressed here is how many Palestinians are likely to have been killed by these errant Palestinian rockets in May. The estimate arrived at is 91, amounting to 36% of the alleged Palestinian death toll.

Well that makes these rockets far more effective at killing Gazans than killing Israelis.
If a third of those killed all together were members of Hamas or other militant organizations, this would mean that Hamas et al. killed as many Gaza civilians as the Israeis did.

About 700, 20% of the total rockets fired, fell on Gaza. That only 90 people were killed by that is a testament to how ineffective those rockets are.

[Rudaw] A Canadian woman who left Alberta in 2014 for Syria has been released from al-Hol camp in Syria, her family’s lawyer said on Monday, cited by Canadian media.
Canada’s Global News reported that she is the first Canadian adult to leave the detention camps holding Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Lawrence Greenspon, the family's lawyer, told Global News the woman’s four-year-old daughter was returned to Canada in March with the assistance of US diplomat Peter Galbraith.
It is still not known whether she will face charges when she returns to Canada, according to the Canadian news agency, which also reported there were at least nine women, five men, and dozens of children from Canada held in jug by Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
