She looks like one of my great aunts. They had pictures of themselves in small groups and God they looked great. Flappers! Beads, fringe, short skirts, drinks and cigarettes in holders and all that jazz. They were funny as hell, and fun to visit. None of the four married, and they all died when they hit around 100 years old, one at a time. Georgianna, the youngest, was the last to go at 103. Her greatest fear was that I would bring a Vietnamese girl home. Different mores. I miss them.

Dunno. My first look at JB was when she played a blowsy late middle-aged housekeeper on some '50s sitcom (?My Three Sons?). Regardless of her younger pictures, I can't get that image out of my mind..
[ToloNews] A commander of the Haqqani Network was arrested on Tuesday in Nangarhar The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country.. province, a local official said.
Attaullah Khogyani, the governor's front man, told TOLOnews that the commander's name was Momen, also known as Khalid, and he was an active commander in the Haqqani network ...a branch of the Afghan Taliban, based in Pakistain. The network is a family business founded by the later Jalaluddin Haqqani... He was arrested yesterday by NDS forces yesterday while he was returning from Pakistain to Torkham.
According to Khogyani he was entering Afghanistan to "conduct terrorist activities."
The arrested man confessed to being a Haqqani commander and to entering Afghanistan to engage in krazed killer activities, said officials.
[ToloNews] Six non-combatants were killed on Wednesday in a roadside mine blast in Jawzjan province, local official said.
Marouf Azar, front man for Jawzjan governor, said the incident occurred in Farok Qala village of Muradyan district when a rickshaw was hit by mine.
Two children and woman are among the dead and one other child was maimed in the incident, Azar said.
While Azar blames the Taliban ...Arabic for students... for the mine, the Taliban have not commented on the incident.
Last month the United Nations ...where theory meets practice and practice loses... Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) raised serious concerns over a surge in the number of civilian casualties in the country and urged the Afghan warring factions to end hostilities and engage in intra-Afghan talks.
[ToloNews] At least 20 Afghan security force members, among them seven members of the special forces and three coppers, were killed in fighting with Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... murderous Moslems in Badghis, Helmand ...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan... and Balkh provinces over the past 24 hours, according to local officials in these provinces.
Another seven soldiers were maimed, said the officials.
"Last night there was a fierce battle between the government forces and the opponents in Balamurghab district and it continued until 11:00pm," said Saiqal Haidari, a front man for the Badghis police headquarters.
In the meantime, in another incident, at least six civilians, among them four children and a woman, were killed in the Muradian district of Jawzjan.
"Four children, a woman and an elderly man were martyred," said Maroof Azar, a front man for the Jawzajn police headquarters.
The Afghan Ministry of Interior said that these non-combatants were killed as a result of a roadside kaboom in Faron Qala village of Muradian district of Jawzjan province.
According to the Afghan security officials, 17 Taliban fighters were killed in the fighting in Helmand.
"All over Afghanistan, the Taliban continue their brutal killings of the Afghan people," said Abdul Zahir Tamim, a member of parliament.
Although the Taliban have refrained from launching attacks on major Afghan towns and city centers after the signing of the peace agreement between the US and the Taliban on February 29, deadly battles have continued between the Afghan government forces and the Taliban outfits in the villages and districts across the country which also resulted in huge fatalities among Afghan forces.
Afghan forces and the Taliban also engaged in fierce fighting in the Kajaki and Nawa districts of Helmand.
What would be impact of the battles on the grinding of the peace processor?
"Everyday hundreds of people, including members of the security forces and civilians, are killed by the Taliban. What kind of peace is this?" said Sher Mohammad Akhundzada, a member of parliament.
Afghan government previously said that last week has been the deadliest week in Afghanistan over the past 17 years.
According to the Office of the National Security Adviser, the Taliban last week killed 291 Afghan soldiers in 32 provinces of the country and maimed another 550 soldiers.
[ToloNews] At least 10 Afghan cops were killed in a Taliban ...Arabic for students... attack in western Badghis province on Tuesday evening, said Ziauddin Akazi, MP.
The attack took place in Bala Murghab district of the province while the security forces were going outside their base to review the security situation, Akazi said.
"Seven commandos and three police specials forces were killed in the attack and five others were maimed. The festivities continued for more than two hours," he said.
Security officials have not commented on the attack, nor have the Taliban.
[TruthAboutGuns] An armed former prison inmate led a “peaceful protest” in Lansing, Michigan in recent days for “civil rights.” In reality, the “Free People of Lansing” obstructed traffic and brandished firearms against motorists while police looked on from nearby. Inaction by the local police should surely raise questions aplenty for both local residents and people nationwide.
Paul Birdsong
...age 24 34, former Bloods gang leader, four time convicted jailbird, proud follower of Malcom X...
led the Black Lives Matter protest, one of his daily outings since the George Floyd killing, with a GLOCK on his hip and a bullhorn in front of his pie hole. The Lansing City Pulse recently profiled Birdsong:
Why aren’t the police dispersing this group obstructing traffic? Why are police allowing members of the “Free People of Lansing” to not only obstruct traffic, but to menace others by pointing their guns at motorists who simply wish to drive through?
Clearly the police in Lansing have orders not to engage.

How, at the age of 24, can he have been convicted four times, and have gotten out already? What the heck is going on here? Is he lying about his age? Was he convicted of a couple of misdemeanors or tried as a kid? Usually sentences start going up dramatically after conviction number 2.
Unless, I suppose, he was supposed to be serving an extended sentence and our wise Governor let him, along with hundreds of others, out because of the Chinese Flu.

The basic demand of the populace is still wrong.
Nobody needs to 'disperse' anybody. You have them all there, every summbitch cop hating criminal in neatly packed clusters. They're armed and agressive. There is no court under the sun who can protect them if the thousands of gun owners and trained vets decide to retaliate. All those gun rack purchasers and NRA members come out and start killing, or we are watching the intermediate stages of America's balkanization and takeover by uncivilizable locusts.
The majority simply need to make up their minds. And minority communities - black, red, brown, yellow, pink and gold - their ambition to take over needs to be crushed violently. All affirmative action and inclusion bullshit needs to be stripped away. If white people have a psychological distrust of the darker skinned, so be it. It's universal. They must learn to live with it, and try to live above the white people, not raging against the majority trying to upend civilization over it.
For heaven's sake, you've given us the napalm and agent Orange indecencies, Herb's dead goat herders, the Red Indian genocides, the taliban monstrosity, mother f$%#ing Hiroshima ! What's a little domestic culling to save the Republic ? Please come out of this faggot guilt over some cotton farms, Uncle Sam, and teach the enemy to beg for life again.

I know a guy that does Bail Bonds. We were talking today - he has a guy who called him that's in for Felony Assault with a deadly weapon. Bail is $1. He said screw that - no profit in that. Apparently nobody in the guy's family will put up the $1 and it's not his first offense. San Diego County. WTF?

There are no shooters for two reasons.
1. This is largely a media event. The crowds/rioters are not large. They number in the 100’s not 1000’s. Look at the video, not as many routers as you think. The local liberals are stirring the pot to cause problems for Trump. Nothing else. It would be easy to defend a statue.
2. Like most of us on the burg , we have too much to lose to physically fight the punk mobs. The liberals would make a media event of righty’s picking off a few rioters. For instance Raj goes out and pushes a rioter to the ground. Suddenly the accountant from Boston is running a right wing extremist group and plans to kill all good BLM. They hang Raj and his family and his family’s family. They protest at his moms house. Kick her doors in. Big city police ignore.
This is a big city problem. Let the rot in their filth. Eat their own. When they get to the suburbs then it’s out turn. But they will never get there. They know better. D
This is fodder for the left and the right. Most of America will vote for law and order.
[Rudaw] A Ottoman Turkish court has sentenced 68 Kurdish politicians and civil activists, including a former mayor, to up to ten years in prison for their alleged links to an umbrella group linked to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).
A total of 79 people were tried by a court in Malatya province on Wednesday based on charges of membership of a terrorist organization. Eleven of them were acquitted while 68 others were found guilty, T24 reported.
The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...Qatar's satrapy in Asia Minor... has detained and sentenced scores of Kurdish politicians, activists and journalists in the last decade for their alleged links to the Kurdish Communities Union (KCK), an umbrella group of a number of parties, including the PKK, which is a deemed a terrorist organization by Ankara. They have all faced terror-related charges.
The cases against the defendants from Cizre, in the Kurdish province of Sirnak province, were launched in 2011. The judges are said to be affiliated to the Fethullah Gülen ... a Turkish preacher living in Pennsylvania whom the current govt of Turkey considers responsible for all the ills afflicting Turkey and possibly the entire world. Gülen and Erdogan used to be really good friends, but only one of them could be sultan, and Gülen lost... movement, also known as FETO, which was accused by Ankara for orchestrating the 2016 failed coup attempt.
Seriously? And they’ve survived in office this long, even as tens of thousands of others at all levels have been swept up and their entire estates confiscated? Shocking.
One of those sentenced on Wednesday is Mehmet Zirig, who was elected mayor of Cizre in March 2019’s local elections on the ticket of the pro-Kurdish, leftist Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP). However, there is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened... he was removed from his position in October of the same year for alleged links to the PKK.
Zirig lashed out at the ruling, claiming that his sentencing proves that the ruling Justice and Development Party, which once enjoyed good relations with Gulen’s movement, still enjoy close ties.
Suuuurrre they do.
"I have been sentenced to six years and three months for the KCK Cizre case which was launched by FETO [linked] prosecutors.
Worse and worse — Gulenist judges and prosecutors still in positions of power — how can this be?
This decision proves that the FETO-AKP partnership continues. Neither FETO nor the Palace’s [Ottoman Turkish presidency] one-man regime can make us retreat from our struggle," he tweeted.
Most of the HDP’s 59 mayors have been removed from office and replaced by pro-government administrators, or trustees. Some of the removed politicians have been detained, tried, and convicted for their alleged links to the PKK, an gang which struggles for Kurdish cultural and political rights.
Six HDP mayor-elects were not permitted to even begin their term in office despite their victory in the March 2019 local elections.
Leyla Guven, a veteran Kurdish politician, was impeached in early June for a KCK-related case which dates back to 2009. She was later detained but released soon after, having previously served over six years in jail.
Scores of HDP officials, members and supporters have been detained or officially arrested for similar terror charges, including co-chairs Selahttin Demirtas and Figen Yuksekdag.

[Rudaw] At least 12 Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... (ISIS) Death Eaters were killed on Mount Qarachogh in the disputed territory of Makhmour, Erbil province in a joint operation by Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) and the US-led coalition in the early hours of Wednesday, a top Iraqi army official announced.
"Based on accurate intelligence information, 59 air strikes were directed against the caves and bunkers that the ISIS terrorist gangs were holed up [on Mount Qarachough]," tweeted Brig. Gen. Yehia Rasool, spokesperson of the Iraqi Armed Forces.
Rasool added that Iraqi Counter-Terror Forces were also involved in the operation.
The Iraqi army official also shared footage purported to show ground troops and multiple armed vehicles supported by helicopters hovering around the region during the operation.
ISIS has made no mention of the attack on its propaganda channels.
Kurdish Peshmerga forces control the summit of Mount Qarachogh, 60 km southwest of Erbil, but were forced out of the towns and villages of the valleys below when the Iraqi Army and Shiite paramilitias seized control of Makhmour in October 2017.
A Peshmerga source who did not want to be named told Rudaw English that the Peshmerga were informed of the operation before it began.
Today's operation comes as the Iraqi security forces launched a new phase of an anti-ISIS operation dubbed 'Heroes of Iraq: Phase Three' on Monday, in northern areas of the country where remnants of the bad boy bully boy group are continuing to wreak havoc.
The first phase of the operation was announced in mid-May, with a focus on the provinces of Anbar, Nineveh and Salahaddin. Phase two was announced on June 2, targeting ISIS holdouts on the fringes of Salahaddin and Kirkuk.
It has remained unclear whether or not today's air and ground campaign was part of the operation.
But Rasool said this operation was conducted to "complete the series of specific operations that we carry out in the rugged mountainous areas."

SHIITE??? Wiki: In Christian and Islamic tradition, the Seven Sleepers (Arabic: اصحاب الکهف , romanized: aṣḥāb al kahf, lit. 'People of the Cave') is the story of a group of youths who hid inside a cave outside the city of Ephesus around 250 CE to escape a religious persecution and emerged some 300 years later.
[IsraelTimes] Fadi Qadas, 32, accused of being in service of terrorist group for 15 years and of involvement in fighting against Israel; gag order bars details of his arrest.
Prosecutors on Wednesday filed charges against a Gazook electrician accused of firing missiles at Israel and supplying the power for the Hamas, a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth", terror group’s cross-border tunnels into the Jewish state.
According to the indictment filed at the Beersheba District Court, Fadi Qadas, 32, was in the service of the terrorist group for 15 years, supplying it with electronic parts and guidance, including during the 2014 and 2012 wars against Israel.
Qadas was arrested by Israeli forces last month, but details of his detention are barred from publication.
The charges attributed to Qadas include nine counts of various terror charges, including membership in a terror group, service for a terror group and arms dealing.
He is accused of firing hundreds of missiles and mortar shells at Israel on behalf of Hamas, including 107 missiles in rapid succession during a 2017 flare-up that sought to overwhelm the Iron Dome anti-missile system.
Qadas was also responsible for powering the Hamas tunnels dug underneath the border with Israel, according to the charge sheet, and supplied gas balloons for airborne arson attacks on Israel in recent years.
The indictment said the Gazook man was paid for his services by Hamas. It also said he had received financial compensation from the Paleostinian Authority after incurring an injury in Israeli strikes.
The PA? How very generous of them.
Since its violent takeover of the Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... Strip in 2007 from the Paleostinian Authority, Hamas has fired thousands of missiles at Israel and fought three wars with the Jewish state. It has also built dozens of cross-border passages, which have since been destroyed by Israel, with its fighters infiltrating into the country on a number of occasions during 2014’s Gaza war and killing Israeli soldiers.
[IsraelTimes] A settler group said Tuesday morning that some 2,500 Israelis visited Joseph’s Tomb, a holy site located inside an area of the West Bank under full Paleostinian control, the night before.
According to Paleostinian reports, an unspecified number of Paleostinians were maimed in festivities with Israel Defense Forces troops at the time of the visit.
There was no statement from the military on the visit or reported violence, which came a week ahead of the date on which Israel says it plans to begin unilaterally annexing parts of the West Bank.
Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan said in a statement that worshipers prayed for a full and successful annexation of the West Bank by Israel.
"We are here to send a clear message: People of Israel, the State of Israel will not give up the holy places," he said. "History will not forgive those who abandon the holy places at this time. We will not accept symbolic illusory sovereignty."
Last month, Dagan started a campaign against the establishment of a Paleostinian state and the creation of isolated settlement "enclaves" in the West Bank as part of US President Donald Trump ...Oh, noze! Not him!... ’s plan.
Near-monthly visits by Israelis to Joseph’s Tomb are permitted by the Israel Defense Forces and are carried out under heavy armed guard.
Joseph’s Tomb is located inside Area A of the West Bank, which is officially under complete Paleostinian Authority control, though the Israeli military conducts activities there. The IDF bars Israeli citizens from entering Area A without prior authorization.
The site is venerated by Jews, Christians and Moslems, and has often been a flashpoint for sectarian violence. During these visits by Jewish pilgrims, Paleostinians routinely throw rocks at the troops, and sometimes attack them with Molotov cocktails and gunfire.
In 2015 a large group of Paleostinians set fire to the compound containing Joseph’s Tomb. Paleostinian Authority security forces dispersed the hundred-strong crowd and managed to douse the fire at the tomb, which tradition says contains the remains of the biblical patriarch Joseph.
There have been other incidents of arson and vandalism at the site, including major damage by Paleostinian rioters in 2000.
Last month, an Israeli court convicted a former Paleostinian police officer for opening fire in 2011 on a group of Israelis who had visited the site without coordination. One man was killed.
The latest overnight visit came despite the announcement by Paleostinian Authority President the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas ...aka Abu Mazen, a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial. While no Yasser Arafat, he has his own brand of evil, just a little more lowercase.... last month that he was ending security cooperation with Israel, though questions have arisen over the extent to which coordination has actually been frozen.
On May 21, Abbas declared that the PA was "absolved" of all agreements and understandings with Israel and the US. Abbas said his statement was in response to repeated Israeli violations of those agreements, including its planned unilateral annexation of parts of the West Bank, and that his security forces were cutting ties with the Israeli military.
The claim has since proven to be overstated, as some degree of coordination has continued despite the dramatic announcement, though to a lesser extent than normal.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has insisted he will go ahead with plans to extend Israeli illusory sovereignty to settlements and the Jordan Valley — some 30 percent of the West Bank — from July 1.
[IsraelTimes] Wounded man taken for treatment, IDF says a second person was arrested and searches were on for several others near Beit El, north of Ramallah.
Israel Defense Force soldiers opened fire on a group of Paleostinians who were throwing fire bombs near the West Bank settlement of Beit El late Tuesday, wounding one of them, the army said.
A second man was arrested after a chase, while several others managed to escape, the army said, adding that it was continuing searches in the area just north of Ramallah.
The maimed man was taken for treatment, the IDF said.
Earlier Tuesday, a Paleostinian man was shot and killed while apparently attempting to run over Border Police officers with his car, Israeli police said. Police said in a statement that the incident, which took place in the West Bank town of Abu Dis east of Jerusalem, appeared to be a deliberate attack.
One Border Police officer was lightly injured while leaping out of the way and taken to a Jerusalem hospital for treatment.
The driver, identified in reports as a Paleostinian man, was initially listed at death's door but authorities later said he died of his injuries. Paleostinian media identified the driver as Ahmad Mustafa Erekat, 27, and claimed that he was traveling to Bethlehem on his sister’s wedding day to help his mother and sisters prepare for the wedding.
The man "drove his vehicle quickly towards the direction of a female border police officer who was injured lightly," police front man Micky Rosenfeld said.
The incident took place days before a possible Israeli annexation of some as-yet unspecified portion of the West Bank, as the Israel Defense Forces prepared for a wide range of scenarios for potential regional fallout — up to and including a large-scale wave of terror attacks.
According to a Channel 12 news report Sunday, the IDF is preparing for three possible violent reactions to annexation. The first would see mass protests by Paleostinians; the second, shooting and car-ramming attacks in the West Bank; the third, a return to the waves of suicide kabooms seen during the Second Intifada in 2000-2004.
The coalition agreement between Likud and Blue and White stipulates that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu can advance an annexation proposal in the cabinet or Knesset beginning July 1. Netanyahu has promised to do so at that date, though he has faced growing pressure from all sides, including leaders of West Bank settlements, to delay the move.
It is not clear that Netanyahu has decided regarding the scale of the annexation. Officials from the Prime Minister’s Office have suggested different scenarios in recent weeks, including an annexation that includes the Jordan Valley, which makes up almost 30 percent of the West Bank, and one limited to lands administered by Israeli settlements, or roughly 3% of the area.
While the coalition agreement lets Netanyahu move ahead with annexation without his Blue and White coalition partners, the Trump administration has reportedly asked the prime minister to obtain the support of his centrist partners in order to ensure Washington’s backing.
The Judea Military Court on Wednesday sentenced Asem Barghouti to four life sentences for the Givat Assaf shooting attack in 2018.
The court also ordered punitive damages of over NIS 15 million to the families of the various victims. Granting large punitive damages is part of a new trend of a "legal price tag" to deter terror and prisoner exchanges.
Soldiers Yuval Mor-Yosef and Yosef Cohen were murdered by Barghouti on December 13, 2018, in a shooting attack outside the West Bank settlement of Givat Assaf.
In addition, a baby was born prematurely and died days later due to another of his shooting attacks.
Three life sentences were given for the murders and the fourth for other attempted murder convictions.
Barghouti was arrested in January 2019 by a joint operation of the IDF, Israel Police and the Shin Bet in the West Bank village of Abu Shukheidim, north of Ramallah, at the home of one of his associates.
Barghouti, originally from the village of Kobar north of Ramallah, comes from a Hamas, a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",-affiliated family and had already spent 11 years in Israeli prisons for security-related crimes, including plans to abduct soldiers.
According to the Shin Bet, Barghouti had been planning additional attacks against Israeli targets and was found with a Kalashnikov rifle, large amounts of ammunition and night vision equipment.
He carried out the Givat Assaf attack just days after he and his brother, Salah Barghouti, shot seven Israelis in a drive-by-shooting attack near the settlement of Ofra, north of Givat Assaf.
Salah Barghouti was killed during an arrest attempt on December 11, 2018.
"The arrest by the Israel Security Agency and soldiers from the Yamam Brigade was the culmination of an intelligence and operational effort that began immediately after the attack, during which the Shin Bet and the IDF used intelligence, operational and technological capabilities to locate the terrorist," the Shin Bet said in the statement, adding that dozens of operatives and collaborators of Hamas in the West Bank have been arrested.
"The families of the victims and I welcome the decision of the court and hope that the terrorist will never again walk free," family lawyer Maurice Hirsch said. "To avoid the terrorist enjoying the fat salaries paid to him by the PA, I am calling on Israel's defense minister to immediately return to enforce the new legislation passed recently in Judea and Samaria that would prevent banks operating in the PA from acting as a conduit through which the blood money is paid."
