[ToloNews] Afghanistan’s representative to the UN, Adela Raz and Deputy Foreign Minister Idrees Zaman also attended the meeting.
National Security Advisor Hamdullah Mohib on Monday met with UN Secretary General António Guterres in New York and discussed Afghan elections, the security situation, and prospects for peace, Mohib's office said.
The UN SG expressed his strong commitment to Afghanistan for enduring peace and stability.
Mohib on Monday addressed the 74th session of the United Nations ...boodling on the grand scale... Assembly where he said that almost three million Afghans voted in the country’s presidential elections on September 28 despite the "threat of terrorism."
"We all voted not just for a president, but we also voted for democracy. We voted for our Constitution. We voted for freedom and illusory sovereignty. We voted for prosperity and connectivity. We voted for peace. We voted for the Islamic Theocratic Republic of Afghanistan," Mohib said.
Also in New York, Mohib met with the foreign minister of Turkmenistan, Rasit Meredow, and discussed bilateral issues, regional stability, development, and cooperation in the region.
Mohib highlighted Turkmenistan’s role in Afghanistan’s regional projects, Mohib’s office said.
[KhaamaPress] The National Security Adviser of Afghanistan Hamdullah Mohib has called on Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... to join peace or the Afghan forces would continue to fight.
Speaking during high-level debate of the 74th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations ...an idea whose time has gone... on Monday, Mohib said "To the Taliban and their foreign sponsors,
ooooohhhhh — he is talking to Pakistan’s ISI...
HEAR THIS NOW, a message from the Afghan people: Join us in peace, or we will continue to fight."
Mohib further added "And, as my colleague Ambassador Adela Raz said last week here at the United Nations: "This is a fight we can win.""
This comes as the Afghan and U.S. forces have stepped up counter-terrorism operations against Taliban and other turban and terrorist group across the country, specifically after the U.S. President Donald Trump ...Perhaps no man has ever had as much fun being president of the US... called off peace talks with Taliban.
President Trump called off peace talks with Taliban group on 8th of September in reaction to a deadly attack in Kabul city which killed at least 12 people including an American service member.
Meanwhile, ...back at the revival hall, the congregants were being herded into the paddy wagon... President Trump said his administration was pursuing the hope of a brighter future in Afghanistan.
He made the remarks at the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly late last month.
President Trump said "Around the world, our message is clear: America’s goal is lasting, America’s goal is harmony, and America’s goal is not to go with these endless wars ‐ wars that never end."
Furthermore, he said "With that goal in mind, my administration is also pursuing the hope of a brighter future in Afghanistan."
However, you can observe a lot just by watching... he said "Unfortunately, the Taliban has chosen to continue their savage attacks. And we will continue to work with our coalition of Afghan partners to stamp out terrorism, and we will never stop working to make peace a reality."

Diversifying is a good idea when the homeland can no longer be trusted — however well-intentioned President Sisi might be. If they’re smart, they’ll send scans and copies of all their holy books and records, and a complete photographic record of Church artworks as well.

No way, he's not an Ayatollah. On the other hand, he might be contemplating a coup - IRGC holds most of the advanced weapons, and most of the experienced soldiers in Iran.
