[FOXNEWS] U.S. Attorney Jessie Liu has recommended moving forward with charges against CNN contributor Andrew McCabe, Fox News has learned, as the Justice Department rejects a last-ditch appeal from the former top FBI official.
McCabe -- the former deputy and acting director of the FBI -- appealed the decision of the U.S. attorney for Washington all the way up to Jeffrey Rosen, the deputy attorney general, but he rejected that request, according to a person familiar with the situation.
The potential charges relate to DOJ inspector general findings against him regarding misleading statements concerning a Crooked Hillary Clinton ...former first lady, former secretary of state, former presidential candidate, Conqueror of Benghazi, Heroine of Tuzla, formerly described by her supporters as the smartest woman in the world, usually described by the rest of us as The Thing That Wouldn't Go Away... -related investigation.
A source close to McCabe’s legal team said they received an email from the Department of Justice which said, "The Department rejected your appeal of the United States Attorney’s Office’s decision in this matter. Any further inquiries should be directed to the United States Attorney’s Office."
McCabe spent 21 years with the FBI. He became the acting director in May 2017 after President Trump fired former director JamesThe spine of the FBI is the rule of law Comey The disgraced, except in his own mind, former head of the FBI... Last month, a source close to the process told Fox News that McCabe had a "target on his back" because of the Justice Department inspector general findings.

DOJ will put one of their junior varsity team on it and deliver as well as Mueller delivered to the Donks. You get one shot to convict. You think with all the anti-Trump sympathizers in the joint you are going to get a motivated legal team? I have a bridge in San Francisco to sell you.
[The Feds had a slam dunk case on political corruption in NM with video and voice. Lost the case in court cause the prosecutor didn't want to do it. Failed at the start by not putting one bit of effort in jury selection. One juror afterwards openly said, no way was he going to convict.]
[BearingArms] The U.S. House of Representatives passed three gun control bills on Tuesday, ramping up the pressure on the U.S. Senate to "do something" now that Congress has returned from its legislative session. The three bills include a measure offering grants to states to set up "red flag" laws, a prohibition on gun ownership for those convicted of misdemeanor hate crimes, and a ban on magazines that can hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition. Later this month the House Judiciary Committee is also expected to pass a sweeping ban on semi-automatic firearms and magazines over 10 rounds.
The additional gun control measures passed by the House are meant to apply pressure to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who said gun control would be "front and center" when the Senate returned, but has since said he won't bring any gun bill to the floor that won't be signed by President Donald Trump. On Tuesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said McConnell's inaction has led to the deaths of Americans. Horrible, ineffective and tyrannical idea after idea. This is the full sprint to a total gun ban by the left. One can only hope that the Senate doesn't cave to this and Trump doesn't sign it if they do.
Otherwise the Republicans are dead as a party. And so is the US.

Ban on semi-automatics? That ain't going to happen. If so, we are going to make felons out of a large segment of the population; people who vote. It would pave the way for a 1860 redux and a resistance like has never been seen. Most likely, an open season on politicians would be fostered who passed this.

QC, we are already labeled "Terrorists" by the speaker of the house's district. Pretty close to a done deal on that. So not it can be illegal for the NRA member to peacefully assemble because they are a terrorist org, their free speech is curtailed, and any sense of due process is voided in San Fran. Its not a matter of when, its a matter of how wide and far this will go before people stat expending ammo on the issue to get their God given rights back.

Bolstered by young voters and liberals, 34% of likely New Hampshire Democratic voters say they prefer party leaders like Ocasio-Cortez over House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, according to the poll. Just 30% of Democrats say they prefer Pelosi over AOC.
AOC leads by 4%, 34% to 30%. That's ... enormous. What's the margin of ewrror of the poll?
By the way, by my math, that leaves 36% that prefer 'none of the above' - the largest of the three choices. Maybe that's the real headline!

Can you imagine how fun it would be? Teeth and Eyes for Speaker!
[BREITBART] Democrat presidential hopeful Robert "Beto" O’Rourke; ...Kennedyeque businessman, musician, skateboard artiste, and politician who represented Texas' 16th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives from 2013 to 2019. Beto is a Latino nickname for people whose names end in "erto," like "Roberto" or "Alberto." He is seeking the Dem nomination for President in 2020 because he has nice hair and lots of teeth. He was born into a local political family in El Paso, Texas and is a graduate of a prep school and Columbia University, which is not in Texas. In 2005, he was elected to the El Paso City Council. He was elected to Congress in 2012 after defeating eight-term incumbent Silvestre Reyes in the Democratic primary. He declined to seek re-election in 2018, instead running for the Senate against Republican Ted Cruz, running a campaign that drew national attention because of his skateboarding skills. A few months after he lost, he announced his campaign for President... is suggesting credit cards are an enabling factor in mass shootings.O’Rourke conflated the two via Twitter and followed it by pushing financial institutions to take action.
He wrote, "Credit cards have enabled many of America’s mass shootings in the last decade‐and with Washington unwilling to act, they need to cut off the sales of weapons of war today."
O’Rourke is pushing for corporate gun control even as 145 of America’s well-known companies ask Congress to take up more gun control.
On September 12, 2019, Breitbart News reported that Bain Capital, Credit Karma, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Doordash, GAP, Levi Strauss & Co., Pinterest, Reddit, Royal Caribbean, Twitter, Uber, and Yelp, and 133 other companies sent a letter to Congress asking for universal background checks and legislation allowing court orders for the confiscation of firearms.
CitiBank adopted gun control requirements for customers in March 2018.
Breitbart News reported CitiBank’s gun control policy set forth three requirements for "new retail sector clients or partners." Those requirements: (1) they don’t sell firearms to someone who hasn’t passed a background check, (2) they restrict the sale of firearms for individuals under 21 years of age, and (3) they don’t sell bump stocks or high-capacity magazines.

Bingo. Look also at California politics: the Boy Governor Gavin Newsome's influence-soaked (also alcohol-soaked) rise to wealth and power due to daddy's ties to the Browns and the Getty family.
Willie Brown's stash, and his ho' Kamala H's rise to wealth thanks to her socialite connections.
Both Feinstein and Pelosi married commercial real estate brokers with close ties to SF politicians. Etc etc

Some bits on Amy Sanders - Beto's wife
Her Father Sold a Real Estate Business to GE for at Least $2 Billion
Amy’s father, William “Bill” Sanders, is known as a real estate mogul, according to El Paso Inc. He owns Verde Realty and has been highly successful in all his businesses. The book “The Richest Man in Town” noted that Bill Sanders began Verde after building a fortune in the real estate investment trust business. He founded LaSalle Partners and then Security Capital, one of the most successful REITs in the country, and later sold it to GE. (Some sources say he sold it for $2 billion and others say $5.4 billion.) Security Capital was one of the most influential real estate companies in history. Forbes, however, has cautioned against assuming that Amy is a billionaire heiress.
[BREITBART] The far-left members of the "Squad" ‐ Reps. Alexandria Boom Boom Ocasio-Cortez Dem represntative from da Bronx in Noo Yawk and leader of the Mean Girl Caucus in Congress. One of the Great Minds of the 21st Century, she is known as much for her innaleck as for her dance moves. She is all in favor of socialism, even though she's fuzzy on the details... (D-NY), Ilhan Omar ...Somali-American Dem representative from Minnesota. She is apparently married to her brother and may be her own grandmaw on her mother's side... (D-MN), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), and Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) ‐ participated in an NAACP forum Wednesday evening and declared that members of the Republican Party are "scared" of them "because they know how powerful" they are.
Ocasio-Cortez talked about her background as a waitress and told the moderator, Angela Rye, that she does not "shy away" from her background of working in restaurants because it prepared her for her current job as a congresswoman.
"Nothing will give you the ferocity of advocacy like having that kind of experience," Ocasio-Cortez said.
"No one can tell me about things like sexual harassment. No one can tell me things like working for tips on a wage that is less than the minimum wage. No one can tell me about taking the subway at 3 o’clock in the morning home from a night shift," she said, claiming that "no one else has those experiences on the other side of the aisle."
"Very few people have those experiences, and by the way, when they do, like John It is not pronounced 'Boner!' Boehner ... the occasionally weepy former establishmentarian leader of House Republicans... , they’re lauded for it. They’re like, ’That’s a guy I could have a beer with,’ but with me, it’s like, so‐" she continued with a gesture.
The freshman politician added that the Republican Party is "scared" of the "Squad."
"It’s because they’re scared because sometimes I think that the Republican Party recognizes our power more than we do sometimes," she said.
"Tweet that," Rye interrupted.
"Because there is a reason we are on Fox News 24/7 while every pundit ‐ while they’re sending mailers with our face on it ‐ because they know how powerful we are more than sometimes our own ‐ frankly I think ‐ our own party does," she added.
At that point, Rye mentioned that Republican Dan Bishop, who defeated Democrat Dan McCready in North Carolina’s Ninth congressional district Tuesday night, gave the "Squad" a "shoutout" in his victory speech by noting that his victory was a rejection of the "radical liberal policies" pushed by members of the "Squad."
"Is that why he won by a smaller percentage than Trump did in his district?" Ocasio-Cortez mused.
Bishop secured a win with 50.7 percent to McCready’s 48.7 percent.

Oooooooo! Scary! Scary!
Plus that load about working in restaurants prepared her for being a Congresscritter. Does that mean she works for tips now?

So you sound a lot like Pol Pot, you hate your elders, you think because you slung beer and warded off leering looks by pushing bouncers on guys, and gals, you are more worldly than the congressman and women? You know nothing of the law, you know nothing of second and third order effects. What you do know is arrogance, self-riotousness, and decision making by emotion. You operate from one ethnocentric-bigoted emotional outburst to another. But I do agree on one thing about you, people like you are a danger to a civil society, people like you are responsible for the killing fields, for the Bolshevik revolution and on and on. What saddens me is you have a following, that believe you and your fogged over single synaptic sense of truth. We are at a place in history where this republic is fragile, and now we have elected representatives, like you with very impressive single digit IQ's. I am afraid, very afraid for our future.

Scared of you because your ideas lead to economic ruin, dictatorship, and genocide but you've got a significant number of zealots willing to give it another shot.
[KXAN] Twenty-two Greenpeace USA activists created a blockade on the Fred Hartman Bridge in Baytown, Texas early Thursday ahead of the third Democratic primary debate in Houston.
Eleven of those climbers are dangling over the side of the bridge, an activist said in a Facebook Live video. The climbers held colorful ribbons and streamers to block traffic under the bridge. "Look! Pinatas!"
The group aims to "shut down the largest oil export channel in the U.S." for 24 hours.
Law enforcement officials told the local NBC affiliate that Houston Ship Channel was temporarily closed down because the protesters threatened to lower themselves to stop ship traffic.
"This climate emergency was fueled by Trump’s climate denial and the oil industry’s greed," the group wrote in the Facebook posts. "We’re here to resist."
Harris County constables are on the bridge monitoring the scene. Law enforcement officials told local media that the protesters were peaceful so far. At least two lanes of the bridge were also blocked to traffic and they are expected to remain blocked until the protest is over.

They should have tried to block the road instead. Then their remains could have been tossed off the bridge. I'll bet they don't try this again, because Houston traffic jams aren't known for mercy and tolerance to the people deliberately causing them.
[THEHILL] Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax (D) on Thursday filed a $400 million defamation lawsuit against CBS Corp. and CBS Broadcasting in New York, accusing the organization of publishing false statements from two women who accused him of sexual assault.
The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court in Virginia's Eastern District, came in response to CBS interviews with the accusers the network conducted in February.
"Fairfax brings this action to restore his reputation and clear his name, ensure the truth prevails, stop the weaponization of false allegations of sexual assault against him, and vindicate his rights under civil law," the lawsuit says.
Fairfax has denied the accusations made by Vanessa Tyson and Meredith Watson. Tyson says Fairfax forced her to perform oral sex on him at the 2004 Democratic National Convention.
Watson, who said Fairfax raped her while they attended Duke University, came forward in an interview with CBS's Gayle King.
The women went public with their accusations after many called on Gov. Ralph Coonman Northam ...Governor of Virginia, another Dem Great White Hope. He won election by calling his Publican opponent Ed Gillespie a racist, but then, don't they all?... (D) to resign after a photo from his medical school yearbook page resurfaced showing people in blackface. If Northam had resigned, Fairfax would have become governor.
"We stand by our reporting and we will vigorously defend this lawsuit," CBS News said in a statement to The Hill.
[AmericanThinker] ...As Chicago's longest serving alderman faces prison time, his spouse will become the state's most powerful judge.
The state's high court justices on Sept. 10 elected Justice Anne Burke to chief justice of the Illinois Supreme Court, succeeding former Chief Justice Lloyd A. Karmeier. (snip)
Burke's rise to chief justice comes while her husband, 14th Ward Ald. Ed Burke, faces a 14-count indictment on federal corruption charges. In January, federal prosecutors accused the alderman of attempting to extort the owners of a Burger King franchise in his ward by withholding a remodeling permit in order to pressure them to hire his private law firm to handle their property tax appeals.
