Illegal Alien Who Fired On Deputy Had Four Different ICE Detainers, Criminal History
Sanctuary State Madness
[Napa Valley Register via Weasel Zippers] The Napa County Sheriff's Office published dramatic body camera footage Wednesday that shows part of a deputy's fatal confrontation with a driver who shot at her.

Deputy Riley Jarecki noticed a car parked in the 1100 block of rural Henry Road at 10:59 p.m. Sunday, the Sheriff’s Office said. The graphic, 48-second video clip, first uploaded to YouTube, shows the deputy speaking with a man, Javier Hernandez Morales, seated behind the wheel.

Jarecki stood next to a red, parked car, and spoke with Hernandez Morales through a slightly open front window on the passenger's side. The man permits her to look around. She shines her flashlight into the car and walks around the rear of the vehicle, approaching the driver’s side window.

The deputy then knocks on the front, driver's side window.

"Roll it down," Jarecki said.

Hernandez Morales hesitates, murmurs something to himself, and rolls down the window. In Spanish, Hernandez Morales asks, "What’s up?"

He points a gun at her and fires at least once. Jarecki radios that shots have been fired as the car's rear lights flash. The ignition turns over and Jarecki, who appears to have retreated to the passenger side of the vehicle, fires numerous rounds toward the driver's seat.

She radioed that shots had been fired at 11:05 p.m., the Sheriff's Office said. Within minutes, social media was abuzz with locals listening to the police scanner.

The Sheriff's Office held a news conference Wednesday afternoon for Bay Area media that provided new information about Sunday's fatal encounter on a rural south Napa County road. The names of the deputy and the dead motorist were released for the first time.

Hernandez Morales, 43, is a Napa resident and former farmworker. He had a criminal history in the county and had several aliases that had to be investigated before the Sheriff's Office could release his name, Undersheriff Jon Crawford said.

Al-Shabab Claims Killing Of Somali Deputy Attorney General
[RADIOSHABELLE] The al-Shabaab
... the Islamic version of the old Somali warlord...
murderous Moslem group grabbed credit for the liquidation of Somalia’s deputy attorney general on Wednesday in Mogadishu.

Authorities say the attack took place in the Hodan district as Mohammed Abdirahman Mursal left home for work.

Witnesses told VOA Somali that two men on a cycle of violence blocked his way, ordered him to exit the car and shot him dead. The reason for the attack was not known, although al-Shabaab has in the past assassinated government officials, civil servants, soldiers and elders.

The men, who were armed with pistols, expeditiously departed at a goodly pace in the car. Police later found the vehicle abandoned.

Somali officials condemned the attack on Mursal and described him as a rising attorney who studied Islamic law in Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
. One official who spoke on condition of anonymity said Mursal was planning to go to Qatar
...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi...
later this year to take courses for an advanced law degree.

In September 2017, al-Shabaab button men assassinated Mursal’s mother, Anab Abdullahi Hashi, who was secretary general of a Somali women’s organization.

Al-Shabaab Attacks Somali Army Camp Outside Mogadishu
[RADIOSHABELLE] Armed Death Eaters from the al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Shabaab
... Somalia's version of the Taliban, functioning as an arm of al-Qaeda...
have staged an overnight attack on a Somali military outpost near Mogadishu.

Local residents in Bal’ad district, about 30Km north of the capital said the fighters encountered resistance as they tried to storm the army base.

The attack has led to an hour-long shootout between al-Shabaab combatants and Somali government forces, which caused heavy casualties.

The raid was the latest in a series of attacks by al-Shabaab in the country amid ongoing military operations to flush out the Death Eaters from their bases.

Dozens killed in clashes between Nigeria villagers and 'bandits'
[Al Jazeera] At least 59 "bandidos" were killed by a civilian defence force when they attacked a village in northwest Nigeria, security officials and locals said.

Local reports said the corpse count could be even higher, after a local government official said 15 other bandidos were killed in the nearby village of Danmarke, the AFP news agency reported on Thursday.

"We killed 59 of the bandidos and we lost seven men in the fight, which lasted for almost four hours," Bube Shehu, a resident of Danjibga village in Zamfara state, said of the festivities on Wednesday.

Shehu's account was backed by a military officer in the state but there was no immediate corroboration from police.

The worsening security situation in the northwest, President Muhammadu Buhari's strongest regional support base, is one of a number of challenges to his re-election, as voters go to the polls on Saturday.

Farming and herding communities in the region have suffered increasing attacks from criminal gangs who raid villages, steal cattle and kidnap for ransom.

Saudi Coalition launches new offensive to capture border region
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Saudi Coalition launched a new offensive along the Yemeni border, yesterday, targeting a district controlled by the Houthi
...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The Yemeni government has accused the Houthis of having ties to the Iranian government, which wouldn't suprise most of us. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews ...
forces in the Hajjah Governorate.

Backed by Hajour rustics, the Saudi Coalition stormed the Houthi defenses inside the Mustaba District on Wednesday.

According to local reports, the Saudi Coalition was able to make a small advance in the Mustaba District before their warplanes began to heavily bombard the Houthi defenses.

On Thursday, the Saudi Coalition made another push to capture the Mustaba District; however, they were reportedly repelled by the Houthi troops in the area.

With a fragile ceasefire taking place inside the Hodeidah Governorate, most of the fighting in Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of. Except for a tiny handfull of Jews everthing there is very Islamic...
has turned to the Saudi border, where the Houthi forces and pro-government troops continue to trade attacks.

Iraqi agents dismantle multinational ISIS finance ring
[Rudaw] Iraqi intelligence agents announced Thursday they have dismantled a multinational ISIS funding network ‐ calling it the biggest such bust in Iraq’s history.

"The biggest finance group of ISIS in the history of Iraq has been dismantled," the National Intelligence Service said in a statement Thursday, using the Arabic acronym for the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. group (ISIS).

Without delving into detail, the statement says the finance network was scattered across several countries with branches across the globe.

"This group, in its financing, depended on currency exchange offices and a variety of shops, through a complicated method, to disguise and confuse monitoring the movement of its funds," the service said.

No details were given as to how much money the network handled, nor did it mention any arrests.

On October 9, 2018, the Kurdistan Region’s counterterrorism forces published footage of its offices raiding an ISIS finance ring. Ten senior ISIS financiers were tossed in the clink
Yez got nuttin' on me, coppers! Nuttin'!
in Baghdad and Erbil, according to the US-led coalition.

In Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, there are a huge number of small currency exchange shops which are wide open to exploitation by money launderers.

On Monday, CNN was told by a US military official that more than a thousand ISIS fighters recently crossed into Iraq from Syria carrying up to $200 million in cash.

The jihadists, now territorially defeated, have lost many of their sources of revenue. Its self-reliant sleeper cells must now infiltrate Kurdish and Arab villages around the Qarachugh, Makhoul, and the Hamrin mountains to find food and water.

There has also been a rise in kidnappings for ransom money, with fighters often demanding tens of thousands of dollars.

(ISIS/ISIS/IS/ISIS).

According to a report from Syria’s Deir Ezzor Governorate, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) turned over the 150+ ISIS fighters to Iraq after a meeting with the former this week.

Iraq was the second Arab League state after Tunisia to agree to repatriate the captured Islamic State fighters.

However,
Switzerland makes more than cheese...
while Tunisia has agreed to take back their citizens, they have yet to make any effort to repatriate these captured Islamic State members.

Iraq is expected to take back more Islamic State fighters in the coming weeks, as a lot of Iraqi nationals are currently imprisoned inside Syria.

Abu Sayyaf threaten to behead hostages in video
Abu Sayyaf militants holding a Malaysian and two Indonesian fishermen captive are threatening to behead the trio unless a ransom is paid for their release.

A video has surfaced, showing one of the Indonesian men with a knife held to his neck appealing to Indonesia's president as well as an Indonesian negotiator to help secure their release. The video was uploaded on Facebook on February 14 and appears to have been edited from a longer video.

The two hostages seen in the video with their faces covered are believed to be Indonesians Heri Ardiansyah, 19, and Hariadin, 45. The two were kidnapped together with Malaysian hostage Jari Abdulla, 24, in eastern Sabah waters close to the Philippines' Tawi Tawi Island chain on December 5.

The video surfaced several days after Abu Sayyaf gunmen called Jari's wife saying that no Malaysian authorities or negotiators have contacted them to secure her husband's release. The gunmen, who spoke in broken Malay, said that her husband would face "difficulties" if there was no contact from Malaysia.

Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Omar Mammah has said Malaysian police were working with their Philippines counterparts to secure the hostages' release.

Abu Sayyaf kills soldier, injures three in Patikul
[Yahoo] A clash in Sulu that broke out between members of the Philippine Army and the Abu Sayyaf yesterday morning left one soldier dead and three others injured. The two groups clashed in the village of Igasan in the town of Patikul.

The terrorists retreated to other areas when the battle ended after 20 minutes. The military launched airstrikes towards the places in which the rebels were suspected to have fled.

The military is uncertain if the group they fought with yesterday included Hatib Hajan Sawadjaan, the mastermind behind the bloody cathedral bombing in Jolo last month.

"The boom-mobile exploded remotely in the village of Shheel" close to an oil field acting as a base for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) forces fighting IS, the Britannia-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

Six conscripts from the Kurdish-led SDF were also killed as they escorted the workers in vehicles from the Omar oil field, it said.

Twin bomb blasts strike Kobane and Afrin
[Rudaw] Five Kurdish fighters of the People’s Protection Units (YPG) in the northern Syrian city of Kobane were killed on Thursday when a bomb went kaboom! near their base, according to a war monitor. Several civilians were also killed and injured in a separate blast in the northwestern city of Afrin.

Another YPG fighter was reportedly injured in the Kobane blast. The city, which was liberated from the Islamic State

jihadist group (ISIS) in 2016, lies close the Ottoman Turkish border.

No one has grabbed credit for the attack.

The YPG, which makes up the backbone of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), has spearheaded the ground offensive against ISIS. It is on the brink of liberating the last speck of territory controlled by the jihadists in Deir ez-Zor.

A separate attack earlier on Thursday saw a boom-mobile strike central Afrin shortly after a parade of Ottoman Turkish-backed gangs through the northwest Syrian city, according to a war monitor.

At least 10 people, including children, were maimed in the blast near Dersim Hospital in the Villat Street, the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reports.

The opposition-linked White Helmets said two non-combatants were killed, including a little girl, and 22 were maimed.

A video has emerged on social media purportedly showing the aftermath of the blast. Rudaw English has not been able to verify the footage.

It was not immediately clear who was responsible for laying the explosives.

Ottoman Turkish armed forces and their Syrian proxies took over Afrin in March 2018, forcing the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) to withdraw.

Ankara believes the YPG poses a threat to its national security, accusing it of fostering ties with the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

’Operation Olive Branch’ lasted several weeks and saw thousands of ethnic Kurds displaced from the canton in northern Aleppo province. Evidence has emerged of abuses, looting, and ethnic cleansing perpetrated against Kurdish residents by the Ottoman Turkish-backed militias.

The National Army ‐ a Ottoman Turkish-led amalgamation of Syrian opposition groups ‐ issued a statement on February 20 announcing a new security campaign ostensibly targeting drug pushers and funders of terrorism, the Observatory reports.

"To our people in the Syrian North, as a completion of the peace campaign launched by the Syrian National Army achieving its first goal of arresting the corrupted and rebel commanders and groups, a new phase of the campaign starts today," the statement, seen by the Observatory, states.

"It is going to work on achieving the second goal through prosecuting and arresting the drug pushers in order to stop their criminality by dealing with their peers of the gangs of the PKK and of the criminal regime in the occupied areas," the statement added.

The SDF has pledged to prioritize the "liberation" of Afrin from Ottoman Turkish-backed forces once ISIS has been defeated.

The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire....
has threatened to send its forces east from Afrin to push Kurdish forces back from its southern border.

Kurdish forces fear Ankara will launch such an offensive if US troops stationed in northeast Syria withdraw.

Top French jihadist believed killed in Syria
[IsraelTimes] Fabien Clain spoke in IS recording claiming responsibility for 2015 Gay Paree attacks; sources say he was killed in terror group’s last stronghold.

A top French Islamic State

They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
jihadist who became notorious after voicing an audio recording claiming responsibility for the November 2015 attacks in Gay Paree has been killed in an overnight Arclight airstrike, security sources told AFP.

Fabien Clain, who is believed to have gone to Syria in March 2015, was killed in the terror group’s last Syrian redoubt of Baghouz, the sources said on condition of anonymity.

Clain is a seasoned jihadist, who was found guilty of helping send holy warriors to fight US forces in Iraq in 2009 before leaving himself to live in Islamic State’s self-proclaimed caliphate six years later.
According to this article in our archive, the Clain brothers planned to send child fighters to Europe during the Merkel flood, pretending to be asylum seekers.
In his video after the Gay Paree attacks, Clain can be heard announcing that "eight brothers wearing boom belts and carrying assault rifles" had conducted a "blessed attack on... Crusader La Belle France."

The chilling propaganda recording warned that the Gay Paree 2015 jihadist rampage was just "the beginning of the storm."

The IS button men slaughtered 129 people in coordinated attacks at restaurants and bars around Gay Paree, the Bataclan concert hall and the national stadium in an atrocity that stunned the world.

His brother Jean-Michel Clain, also a jihadist, was maimed in the same raid that killed Fabien in Baghouz, where the last IS fighters are holding out against US-backed Syrian forces, the sources said.

There was no immediate confirmation of the report from the French defense or foreign ministries.

Fabien, also known as Brother Omar, or Abu Adam al-Faransi, converted to Islam in the 1990s and is thought to be in his early 40s.

He was originally from the French Indian Ocean island of La Reunion, but later moved to mainland La Belle France.

He was sentenced to five years in prison in 2009 for organizing a network responsible for sending recruits to fight US soldiers in Iraq.

At the time, he and brother Jean-Michel were active in a radical Islamist network, known as the Artigat cell, in the Toulouse
