[WNKY] The Latest on a report that President Donald Trump directed his personal attorney to lie to Congress (all times local):
7:50 p.m.
The special counsel’s office has issued a rare public statement disputing the accuracy of a news report saying that President Donald Trump told his personal attorney Michael Cohen to lie to Congress.
The statement by Robert Mueller’s office on Friday night doesn’t cite any specific errors.
Spokesman Peter Carr says, "BuzzFeed’s description of specific statements to the Special Counsel’s Office, and characterization of documents and testimony obtained by this office, regarding Michael Cohen’s Congressional testimony are not accurate."
12:50 p.m.
Donald Trump’s personal attorney is denying that the president told his former legal fixer, Michael Cohen, to lie to Congress about the details of a Trump business proposal in Russia.
Rudy Giuliani says in a statement that "Any suggestion‐ from any source‐ that the President counseled Michael Cohen to lie is categorically false." Giuliani is responding to a Buzzfeed News report saying that Trump directed Cohen to lie to Congress.
The report was based on information from two law enforcement officials with direct knowledge of special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation. The officials are not named in the story.
The report says Cohen said Trump directed him to lie and investigators have additional documents and testimony backing that up.

OK, now lets watch Congress investigate anyway.
Nobody should believe FuzzPeed after the lies about the "Trump Dossier", and this puts a nail in the lid -another partisan hack lie, spread by the partisan hacks at Buzzfeed and Gawker.

Honest Question: Who is Allahpundit, and why does he blog at an allegedly conservative site? The guy has gone way looney left in his pursuite of Anti-Trumpism. Ed Morrissey is pretty good, doesnt let his opinion of Trump interfere with straight up analysis. And unlike "AllahPundit" he has the guts to show his face and use his own name.
Why the secrecy "Allahpundit"? No courage to stand behind his words? The GTFO and go to Buzzfeed where they like liars like you.

Rest of the media knew it was a lie, spread it anyway.
Even if they have to retract it later, it still contributes to the overall impression they want to give.

Allahpundit dates back to the early days of the Iraq war. He was conservative back then but Trump caught Trump derangement syndromes somewhere back in 2016 (it was a hell of an outbreak, few of the infected ever recover).
[Free Beacon] Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's luggage has been returned to the halls of congress by cart, according to a picture sent to the Washington Free Beacon by a snap-happy tipster.
The picture shows the luggage were returned to Pelosi on "military liaison" marked carts.
Pelosi's bags were packed for a congressional trip to Belgium and Afghanistan, but the trip was canceled just before the delegation was set to leave by President Donald Trump, who let her know in a letter that she would have to fly commercial if she still wanted to make the trip.

Some wag said that Trump really blew it on this one. He should have allowed Pelosi to fly over there on a military transport but cancelled the return flight.
Refueling suspended at Lajas Air Base Azores due to local fuel contamination. Congressional junket stuck on tarmac. No one coming in or going. Could be days, possibly weeks.

#4 Very insightful. Between the Puerto Rico junket and this cancelled trip, one gets the impression it's hurting their a$$es to be here while the shutdown goes on.
