[PRESSTV] Iran’s Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani says the Islamic Theocratic Republic is not providing military assistance to Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of. Except for a tiny handfull of Jews everthing there is very Islamic... and all claims to this effect are false.
Larijani made the remarks while addressing the extraordinary meeting of the Paleostinian Committee of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Member States (PUOICM) in the Iranian capital Tehran on Monday.
"We are not a country that would deny providing military assistance to anybody," Larijani said.
He added that Iran was providing military assistance to Paleostine, but had not helped Yemeni fighters in their war with Soddy Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... in military terms, dismissing any claim to this effect as a lie.
"The Yemenis' missiles belong to themselves and some countries cannot achieve their goals by making such claims," the top Iranian parliamentarian said.

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Twenty members of the ruling al-Thani family in Qatar ...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi... held an important meeting, the first of its kind, in which they rejected the policies of Sheikh Tamim.
The meeting was hosted by Sheikh Sultan Bin Suhaim al-Thani, who has already announced his opposition to Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad al-Thani’s policies, on the occasion of the National Day of the State of Qatar.
Bin Suhaim said during the meeting: "Soon we will celebrate with our family in Doha."
Sultan bin Suhaim added that Qatar would soon return to its Gulf origins.
The meeting rejected decisions to withdraw nationalities from the elders of the tribes.
Sheikh Suhaim said that the tribal stance is historic and that Qatar will never back-stab its neighbors.
The meeting commended the role of the Kingdom of Soddy Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... and sister countries to support the people of Qatar.

[Breitbart] Bangladesh’s Dhaka Tribune reported Thursday that Akayed Ullah, the jihadist responsible for a failed suicide kaboom in New York’s Port Authority Bus Terminal, visited a Rohingya refugee camp during his last trip to the country to conduct charity work.
The Tribune cites Ullah’s mother-in-law, Mahfuja Akhter, as the source for the story tying Ullah to the Rohingya camp. Ullah last visited Bangladesh in September. According to Akhter, "He stayed in Cox’s Bazar for a day and distributed first aid medicines among the displaced Rohingyas in Kutupalong." She insisted that he refused to stay in a hotel "in order to save money to purchase more medicines for the helpless people."
The Rohingya are a majority-Moslem ethnic people from Burma. Human rights NGOs monitoring the situation estimate that hundreds of thousands of Rohingya have fled the country, following the launch of a nationwide campaign to eradicate them, and traveled to Bangladesh where many suffer in refugee camps with no sign of being able to return home in the near future.
The Dhaka Tribune notes that Bangladeshi counterterrorism officers confirmed that Ullah had visited the camp in question in October, but could not definitively say that he went alone and did not provide any details as to how he decided to make the trip or if anyone invited him.
He entered the country after being sponsored for an immigrant visa by an uncle.

Is that what they're calling terrorist training camps now?
[RT] Police in the Swedish city of Malmo have retracted advice given to women in the city following the brutal gang-rape of a 17-year-old girl. The force advised women not to go out alone after dark following the vicious attack.
Officers issued the warning over the weekend following the assault, which occurred on Saturday, and marked the third such vicious rape committed by unknown perpetrators in the city in less than a month.
The original warning, reported by various Swedish media outlets, said that women should avoid venturing out after dark without someone for company. Considering it gets dark quite early in Sweden at this time of year, that would mean women should avoid being in the streets alone after approximately 3pm local time.
However, a hangover is the wrath of grapes... following criticism, Malmo police issued a formal statement on Monday retracting those remarks, describing them as "unfortunate and unclear."
"My advice is to behave as usual and not act on fear," said police spokesperson Mats Karlsson, as cited by SVT.
So far, police have not linked this most recent incident to the previous two but are also not ruling out a connection. In this latest case, there is no CCTV footage to analyze but police are attempting to recover footage from surrounding areas in a bid to catch the attackers.

I wonder what these same officials are telling their wives and daughters to do.
[INDEPENDENT.CO.UK] Austria’s new government has unveiled plans for financial "sanctions" on immigrants colonists who keep their own culture and do not "integrate" with mainstream society.
The government, a coalition between the conservative People’s Party (OVP) and the far-right Freedom Party (FPO), agreed a deal at the weekend with provisions set to make life more difficult for foreigners in the country.
The two parties’ agreed policy programme says that immigrants colonists who are judged to be "refusing to integrate" should expect "sanctions".
One specific policy outlined in the agreement includes a cut to the basic level of support payments for asylum seekers. The reduction can be recouped by families by earning an "integration bonus" if they are deemed to be adopting Austrian culture, as defined by the government.
The programme also calls for faster deportations of asylum seekers and says undocumented immigration will be halted, as well as vowing to stop the creation of "parallel societies".

[PRESSTV] Ottoman Turkish prosecutors have issued detention warrants for 106 people, believed to have worked as matchmakers for the so-called Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO), which is accused by Ankara of orchestrating last year’s failed military coup, Istanbul police say.
According a front man for the Istanbul police on Monday, 62 of the suspects had been nabbed Into the paddy wagon wit' yez! in a counter-terrorism operation centered in Istanbul but spread over 20 other provinces in the Anatolian country.
He further said that further operations to locate the remaining 44 suspects were ongoing, adding that they were "marriage officials" for supporters of the US-based opposition holy manFethullah Gülen ... a Turkish preacher living in Pennsylvania whom the current govt of Turkey considers responsible for all the ills afflicting Turkey and possibly the entire world... , who Ankara says was behind the botched mid-July 2016 putsch.
Gulen has since strongly rejected any involvement in the coup attempt against Ottoman Turkish President Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First ... Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey... , however, Ankara labeled his transnational religious and social movement, Gulen Hareketi, as a terror organization, the so-called FETO. The Ottoman Turkish government has so far submitted a total of seven requests to US officials concerning the extradition of the Pennsylvania-based figure.
The police front man further said that the suspects had allegedly helped set up arranged marriages for some of Gulen’s followers. Ottoman Turkish authorities claim that the Gulen network closely monitored the personal and professional lives of some followers, including their education, career and marriages.
Ottoman Turkish police and the country’s intelligence officials managed to identify the suspects via using conversations traced on ByLock, an encrypted messaging application that was allegedly used by Gulen’s supporters for communication, the police official said.

...It's appearing now that the train may well have been traveling almost three times as fast as the limit for that part of the track, but as always let's wait for the NTSB to do their thing.
On the other hand, it's amazing how fast those little Antifa angels scrubbed their website when they thought they might actually get nailed for this.

[IsraelTimes] Saudi, Egyptian, and other Arab diplomats urge New Delhi to speak forcefully against US recognition of Israeli capital, but plea unlikely to prompt condemnation.
Minister of State for External Affairs MJ Akbar reiterated India’s statement, which only said that the country’s policy would be unaffected by the Trump declaration. "India’s position on Paleostine is independent and consistent. It is shaped by our views and interests, and not determined by any third country," the statement said.
Netanyahu is set to visit India in January, following the high-profile visit of Modi to Israel in July, when he spent three days being shown the country by Netanyahu, but didn’t go to Ramallah, the seat of the Paleostinian Authority government. It was the first-ever visit to Israel by an Indian prime minister.
Abbas visited India in May, meeting with Modi to discuss cooperation and strengthening ties.

Bahram Ghassemi says the two frontier crossings of Haji Omran and Parwezkhan had been reopened, without giving a specific date, after the Bashmaq frontier post began working again in October.
Iran closed the border crossings after Iraqi Kurds on September 25 voted overwhelmingly in favour of independence at a referendum Baghdad insisted was illegal.

‘Miriam' is not an exotic name in German speaking countries.
No? When we lived there in the 1990s, we were assumed to be Jewish because the trailing daughters are named Sarah and Rachel. The entire village was talking about it, I was told later, once they’d got to know me and become proud of how well they’d taught me to speak German. They were right to be proud, too.
The more sophisticated of Mr. Wife’s colleagues made the same assumption.

Rachel would be more likely to be perceived as a Jewish name in Germany. However the spelling variation Rahel is not an uncommon name in Switzerland.
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The Paleostinian government slammed as "unacceptable" Monday a US veto of a draft UN resolution against President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... ’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
A front man for Paleostinian president the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas ... a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial... said the veto was "unacceptable and threatens the stability of the international community because it disrespects it".
The 14 other countries on the Security Council voted in favor, but US Ambassador Nikki Haley ...Trump administration's ambassador to the UN. At the age of 39, Haley was the youngest governor in the U.S., a distinction formerly held by Jindal. She is a Republican, which really grates on the Dems... exercised the American veto.
Nabil Abu Rudeina told AFP in Arabic that the support for the resolution, which included US allies La Belle France, Italia and Japan, "showed the (American) isolation. The international community must work now to protect the Paleostinian people."
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu immediately thanked Haley for her stance.

A veto can not be "unacceptable" without declaring yourself an outlaw to the system.
It can be "unapproved by you" but unacceptable is say you are denying the rules of the the system and don't accept the rules. That puts you in the wrong.
[RT] Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman says Tel Aviv will no longer allow a game of "ping-pong" rocket exchanges to take place with Hamas, the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood.
"In the next few months all existing tunnels will be blown up and destroyed" by new technologies invented by Israel, Lieberman said during an interview with RTVI, adding that Israel is aiming to put an end to the "ping-pong" of rocket exchanges.
His comments come amid increased tensions between Israel and Paleostinians - who are supported by Hamas - after US President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... 's official recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
According to Lieberman, Hamas is solely responsible for the escalating violence in the Gazoo Strip and argues that a large-scale attack from Hamas is inevitable, stating that "should Hamas be faced with the alternative of losing power or attacking Israel, without a doubt, Hamas will choose another conflict with Israel."
The defense minister also claims that The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire.... has been tacitly supporting Hamas, and that "we should revisit all our ties" with Ankara, to sever any dependence from Turkey and to discontinue a proposed gas project with Ankara which would give a "key to our whole gas pipeline" and Israel's energy security to Erdogan - a situation which would have "far-reaching consequences."

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] A Lebanese Uber driver with a criminal record has confessed to killing a British woman who worked at the British Embassy in Beirut, a Lebanese security source said on Monday.
The security source said preliminary investigations into the murder of Rebecca Dykes showed the motive was purely criminal, not political, and that the suspect had immediately confessed to the crime, which took place early on Saturday.
A front man for Uber said in an email: "We are horrified by this senseless act of violence. Our hearts are with the victim and her family. We are working with authorities to assist their investigation in any way we can."
The incident is the latest to highlight the issue of safety at Uber, which was stripped of its operating licence in London in September over concerns about its approach to reporting serious criminal offences and background checks on drivers.
London police complained in April that Uber was either not disclosing, or taking too long to report, serious crimes including sexual assaults and this put the public at risk. The firm’s boss has promised to make things right in the British capital.
And globally, the app has suffered a series of scandals in 2017 as a stream of executives left amid controversies involving allegations of sexual harassment and issues surrounding data privacy and business practices.
The company, valued at around $70 billion with investors including Goldman Sachs, has faced bans and protests in countries around the world as it disrupts traditional players who have accused it of cutting corners on safety.
A second security bigshot in Leb said the suspect was aged 41 and had been locked away Drop the rosco, Muggsy, or you're one with the ages! on drug-related charges in the period 2015-17.
Leb’s state news agency NNA said the suspect had picked Dykes up in his taxi in Beirut’s Gemmayzeh district on Friday evening before assaulting and killing her. Police traced his car through surveillance cameras on the highway, it said.
Lebanese police only said they had arrested a suspect and that it was not a political crime.
Dykes’ body was found strangled by a main highway outside Beirut, a security source said on Sunday. She worked at the British Embassy for the Department for International Development, her LinkedIn page said.
"The whole embassy is deeply shocked, saddened by this news," British ambassador to Leb Hugo Shorter said on Sunday.
"We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Rebecca," Dykes’ family said in a statement issued by Britannia’s Foreign Office. "We are doing all we can to understand what happened."
