[DAILYWIRE] In October 2016, a Texas woman sent packages laden with explosives to Governor Greg Abbott, President Barack Obama teachable moment... and Commissioner of the Social Security Administration Carolyn Colvin. The only reason Abbott was not either severely burned or killed was that he did not open the package as designed.
According to court documents, Julia Poff, 46, was reportedly angry at Abbott because she had not received support from her ex-husband. The package to Obama was detected in screening and rendered safe. The package to Colvin was reportedly motivated by the fact that Poff had applied for Social Security benefits and been denied.
Poff tried to learn the identity of witnesses talking to the FBI and the grand jury, asking her friends not to talk to the FBI. She had been fired from her job at a law firm because she had stolen money from a client.
The court documents stated Poff had been evicted seven times for non-payment of rent, leaving the premises in disrepair with actions including pouring concrete in drains, stuffing potatoes in toilets, and dogs locked in for a week left to defecate and urinate.
The court said that because the evidence against Poff was so strong, it enhanced the risk of Poff fleeing; it also said she represented a safety risk to the community.
Poff was charged last week with Injurious Articles as Nonmailable and Transportation of Explosives with the Intent to Kill and Injure.

October of 2016. One might think that an attempt to blow up the governor of Texas was a newsworthy event. Apparently not, if we are only hearing about it now.
[THECONSERVATIVETREEHOUSE] What a tangled web is weaved…. Hillary Clinton paid her lawyers at Perkins Coie for opposition research on candidate Donald Trump. In turn Perkins Coie paid Fusion GPS to gather information. Fusion GPS paid Christopher Steele to write the “Russian Dossier”.
The FBI also paid Christopher Steele. Additionally, prior evidence surfaced suggesting the FBI used the dossier to get FISA warrants against the Trump campaign. And NOW we discover that Fusion GPS paid journalists and five media companies to participate.
Oh, if this ain’t just sketchy as all hell:
WASHINGTON – Newly filed court documents confirm that Fusion GPS, the company mostly responsible for the controversial “Trump dossier” on presidential candidate Donald Trump, made payments to three journalists between June 2016 until February 2017.
The revelation could be a breakthrough for House Republicans, who are exploring whether Fusion GPS used the dossier, which was later criticized for having inaccurate information on Trump, to feed anti-Trump stories to the press during and after the presidential campaign. The three journalists who were paid by Fusion GPS are known to have reported on “Russia issues relevant to [the committee’s] investigation,” the House Intelligence Committee said in a court filing.
But the recipients’ names, the amounts, and purposes of those payments were either redacted from the documents that Fusion GPS filed to the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia or were not disclosed.
Fusion has asked the court to issue a restraining order against the House committee, which is demanding documents from the company that, among other things, explain the payments it made to reporters. Most of the documents sought are banking records.
One of the documents filed by the company this week was an affidavit from one of Fusion GPS’s co-founders, Peter Fritsch. That affidavit said, in part, “[The House Intelligence Committee] has also demanded records related to transactions between Fusion GPS and certain journalists — i.e., Request Nos. 66, 68-69, 107-112. Those requested records involve transactions that are not pertinent to work related to Russia or Donald Trump.” (read more)
Things could get a whole lot more interesting if Kimberley Strassel is correct in her research and analysis of how the Clinton Campaign paid for the creation of the “Steele Dossier”, pushed it to the FBI, and then used their influence to generate media coverage of it. There’s a lot more questions to be asked; a lot more.

The FBI also paid Christopher Steele. Additionally, prior evidence surfaced suggesting the FBI used the dossier to get FISA warrants against the Trump campaign. And NOW we discover that Fusion GPS paid journalists and five media companies to participate.
So in addition to illegally obtained FISA warrants, we've got the FBI with long-time Clinton surrogate Jim Comey at the helm [using the dossier as the same vehicle] laundering money through Fusion to finance the media campaign against Donald Trump.
Running concurrently are the 'bash Trump' efforts of an endless line of former CIA/DNI directors and assistant directors.
That Christopher Steele chap, what an absolute genius [sarc off]. Tom Clancey must be shaking his head in the heavens. By the way, anyone see or heard from Steele ?
Who could have possibly devised such a fiendish scheme ?

Right, BP. I didn't know you had to bribe these bastards. I thought they did it all out of their own spite. It certainly is a disappointment that their names were redacted.

Since Steele got his information from high ranking officials in the Russian government, does this not mean that the whole effort represented Russian influence on the 2016 election.
This includes the payment of $1 million by the Clinton campaign, the dissemination of the document produced to the FBI and the press, the collusion of the bought press, the use of the document by the FBI to get FISA warrants, the investigation of the Trump campaign, the collusion of high FBI officials with all this, FBI payments and investigations of the Trump campaign, Comey's machinations, and even the Rosenstein appointment of a special investigator. ALL OF THIS brought about by RUSSIAN INFLUENCE. IT goes beyond the 2016 campaign to the PRESENT TIME.

So paying honorariums to media companies and journalists to get the dossier into play???
Tell me again who was trying to manipulate the election.
I still think the dossier was part of the reason Trump won. The average citizen saw right through the entire episode as a Clinton dirty trick and refused to be swayed by it. The media kept playing it and it turned out to be counter intuitive, the more they played it, the fewer people believed it.
Only the looney left would invent a document and then take it as an act of faith that it was true. Reinforces Herr Detroit Goebbels about the ole "repeat a lie long enough" thing.

imo, Conyers (maybe), Franken (definitely), Danger (absolutely), etc. exhibited one of the three following:
Moral Corruption
Poor Judgement
Ignorance of the issue
Allow the perps to twist in the consequences. Including, if it can be proved, Mr. Moore. Btw, what happened to the "Yearbook?"
[Gateway Pundit] On November 6th, POLITICO reported Senator John McCain received treatment at Walter Reed Medical Center after injuring his Achilles tendon.
"Senator McCain was treated at Walter Reed Medical Center over the weekend for a minor tear in his right Achilles tendon, as well as for other normal and non-life-threatening side effects of cancer therapy. Senator McCain has returned to work in the Senate and will be wearing a walking boot until his injured tendon is fully healed," the Senator’s office said in a statement.
"I can’t tell you how much I hate wearing this boot!," tweeted McCain showing off his boot on right foot.

Whenever that happens, it's obviously a network error. Moderators should be cleaning up the duplicate posts, or better yet the forum software should detect and disallow dupes. This site doesn't do it?
