[Libya Herald] Around 80 demonstrators in Misrata yesterday demanded the unification of Libya armed forces, the return of the police and an end to militias such as the Benghazi Revolutionaries Shura Council and the Benghazi Defence Brigades. Gathering in the city’s main square they said they fully supported the Libya army and the country’s other security forces.
The protest came in the wake of Wednesday’s deadly attack on Misrata’s court buildings by elements of the so-called Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems.... . The corpse count remains at four, but the number of maimed is now put at 41, some of them seriously injured.
There were attempts to prevent the demonstration. According to one of those present, around 30 people turned up and accused the demonstrators of being Hafter supporters. This was denied and led to counter accusations that those trying to stop the event did not support the 2011 revolution. The right to demonstrate was part of that revolution, the demonstrators said. It was also pointed out that a number of those who were now trying to stop the demonstration had themselves turned up in the same place the previous week and demonstrated in support of Baset Igtet.
There would have been more people at the event, the demonstrator claimed, but people were worried about being accused of backing Hafter.
Meanwhile, ...back at the shouting match, a new, even louder, voice was to be heard... the deputy head of the Presidency Council, Ahmed Maetig, has ordered the ministries of justice and finance to fund urgent repairs to the court complex so that it can resume its work.

[Al Jazeera] Ndele, Central African Republic - Dieu-beni Celestin Tebefra sits alone in his narrow office, a portrait of the president who named him to this post hanging over his shoulders.
He is the sole representative of the central government in this strategic northern town - but his administrative toolbox is empty.
"I don't have gendarmes or police. It's hard to lead and assert my authority. If I make a decision, who's going to enforce it?" Tebefra asked with a sad shrug. "There are no judges, no magistrates."

[Iran Press TV] Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi has rejected Soddy Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... ’s "ridiculous and rehashed" accusations against the Islamic Theocratic Republic, saying the promotion of Takfiri ...an adherent of takfir wal hijra, an offshoot of Salafism that regards everybody who doesn't agree with them as apostates who must be killed... extremism and terrorism is among obvious hallmarks of Riyadh’s foreign policy.
"Threatening and the employment of military force and language of bullying against small neighboring countries, the undeniable war crimes dossier in Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of. Except for a tiny handfull of Jews everthing there is very Islamic... and the promotion of Takfiri extremism and terrorism have been among the obvious traits of Saudi foreign policy in recent years," Qassemi said on Saturday.
In order to cover up its record, Saudi Arabia has no option but to put the blame on others, distract public opinion and spend huge sums of money; however, such methods would fail, he added.
The Iranian spokesperson said whenever Saudi officials feel under pressure from world public opinion for their military aggression on Yemen and their support for terrorism they move to level preposterous and hackneyed allegations against Tehran.
Surprisingly, Riyadh, which has a long record in spreading of terrorism, violence and aggression, is shamelessly and delusively setting conditions for Iran's active presence in the international community, he said.
Qassemi made the remarks in response to recent accusations by Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir, who claimed that Iran supports terrorism and destabilizes the region. In another allegation, he said that Iran must give up meddling in the affairs of other countries to become a constructive member of the international community.
Saudi Arabia has been incessantly pounding Yemen since March 2015 in an attempt to crush the popular Houthi ...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The Yemeni government has accused the Houthis of having ties to the Iranian government, which wouldn't suprise most of us. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews ... Ansarullah movement and reinstate former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, who is a staunch ally of the Riyadh regime.

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] A British court has tossed in the calaboose I ain't sayin' nuttin' widdout me mout'piece! a pharmacist for six years after it was revealed that he attempted to radicalize children by showing an ISIS beheading video to a primary school pupil.
Zameer Ghumra, 38, was found guilty of spreading terrorist propaganda and "brainwashing" two young brothers into becoming ISIS fighters.
According to the Guardian, Ghumra "taught children how to survive a kaboom and fight with knives, rewarding them with sweets to keep them onside."
Judge, Gregory Dickinson QC described his crimes as "shocking" and as causing "offence to the vast majority of law-abiding Moslems."
Ghumra has shown no signs of remorse over his actions, Dickenson said.
One of the boys being trained by Ghumra reportedly said in court that he was shown "ISIS training videos and people being beheaded."
"There was talking and then the American soldier was beheaded.
"It made me feel disgusting. He said: ’If you truly love Allah, then you do it.’ I told him I get a horrid feeling when I see this."
One of the boys also said: "He believes in a very, very, very extreme Islam. He believes if anyone’s non-Moslem and they say anything bad about Islam you kill them. And you can’t make friends with any non-Moslem."
Ghumra was said to have been setting up an Islamic school as well as working as a pharmacist.

Was he showing them ISIS videos or teaching them soccer?
[Iran Press TV] Ottoman Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu says he is ready to work towards normalization of his country’s strained ties with Germany.
In a Saturday interview with Der Spiegel weekly, Cavusoglu offered a strikingly conciliatory response to the question about whether there would be any normalization in Ankara-Berlin relations.
"Yes. And I am ready to make an effort towards that," he responded.
"If you take one step towards us, we will take two towards you," Cavusoglu added, noting that there was no reason for problems between the two countries.
Pointing to Ottoman Turkish President Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First ... Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him... ’s recent comparison of Germany with the Nazi era, Cavusoglu said the analogy was a kind of "response to the hostility" from Germany, stressing that Berlin had to learn to respect Ankara.
The remarks came as German Chancellor Angela Merkel ...current chancellor of Germany and the impetus behind Germany's remarkably ill-starred immigration program. Merkel used to be referred to by Germans as Mom. Now they make faces at her for inundating the country with Moslems .. is expected to appoint Cem Ozdemir ‐ a prominent politician with Ottoman Turkish parents and a staunch opponent of Erdogan‐as the next foreign minister in her new cabinet.
"Whoever comes to The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire.... as foreign minister will meet the same respect as he shows us," Cavusoglu said.
Meanwhile, ...back at the shattered spaceship, Fffflirgoll the Arcturan slithered stealthily toward the control room, where the humans had barricaded themselves... German Deputy Foreign Minister Michael Roth told Welt am Sonntag weekly that Germany was prepared to hold talks with Turkey and expressed hope "that we can soon move closer together again."

[Khaama (Afghanistan)] Pak officials have expressed deep concerns regarding the Jihadi Fatwas circulated online as they fear such moves would turn the country into a battlefield.
The Pak interior minister Ahsan Iqbal informed regarding the Fatwas during his speech at the national assembly on Friday.
Iqbal further added that no individual or group has the right to declare Jihad against each other, insisting that only the government of Pakistain has the right to declare Jihad.
He called on religious leaders and holy mans to raise their voices against such moves, warning that the country would be turned into a battlefield if necessary and immediate steps are not taken.
According to the minister of interior of Pakistain, the Fatwas are being circulated online in social media websites, urging the government to incorporate changes in clauses about Khat-e-Nabuwwat.
The Pak officials are voicing concerns regarding the Jihadic Fatwas at a time when Afghanistan has long been expressing concerns regarding the similar Fatwas issued against the war in Afghanistan.
Numerous Pak religious holy mans have issued Fatwas in the past, endorsing fight and suicide kabooms in Afghanistan.

[Iran Press TV] Chairman of Iran's Expediency Council Ayatollah Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi warns the United States and the Israeli regime are behind a "dangerous and treacherous" plot to partition Iraq, following an independence referendum held in the Arab country’s semi-autonomous Kurdistan region.
"It is crystal clear that the US and Israel are the architects of this dangerous move and plot in the region and they seek to create a new Israel in the region," Hashemi Shahroudi said during a meeting of the council in Tehran on Saturday.
He expressed great sorrow over efforts to instigate another act of sedition in Iraq’s Kurdistan region and break up the Moslem country, emphasizing that the secessionist "move is undoubtedly a major act of treachery against the region and the Moslem world."
The senior Iranian holy man added that the US was playing a "dangerous" role in regional developments and noted Washington supported the Kurdistan independence referendum and sought to compel Baghdad to accept the secession plan.
However, there's no worse danger than telling a mother her baby is ugly... Hashemi Shahroudi, said the Iraqi government and nation were vigilant and "regional countries, including the Islamic Theocratic Republic of Iran and The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire.... , have adopted a firm and principled stance vis-à-vis this new plot."

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] An American official asked President of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region Massoud Barzani ... hereditary head of the Kurdish Democratic Party, maybe a little too close to the Medes and the Persians for most people's tastes... why they held the referendum now and why they rejected all demands to postpone it.
Barzani told his American guest that Baghdad’s government began to receive heavy and advanced weapons from the US, including military jets, which means that in few years, the balance will be in favor of the Iraqi army. Barzani also told the American official what worries him and said he expects "the Shiites, supported by Iran, to win and the Shiites to be defeated."
