[Daily Caller] TIME Magazine left out one major ‐ or rather, minor ‐ detail of Anthony Weiner’s sentencing in a tweet Monday morning.
"Anthony Weiner is being sentenced for sexting," TIME wrote. "He faces up to 27 months in prison."
Of course, as many Twitter users pointed out, Weiner isn’t being sentenced for "sexting," but rather for sexting a minor. Weiner pleaded guilty to one charge of transferring obscene material to a minor ‐ the girl he sexted with was 15 years old. He also asked the girl to "sexually perform" for him on video chats.
[Breitbart] The construction of President Donald Trump’s promised prototype border wall began on Tuesday. Six companies that won the competitive bidding process will begin testing various types of walls. The companies will begin building eight test sections of wall on Tuesday, Fox News Insider reported.
"Today is the day the dirt actually moves," Fox’s Adam Housley reported from the area. He said it will take about a week or two before anything significant is constructed. Not a problem. Take your time, do it correctly.
Just a few weeks ago, the finalists were announced by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Breitbart News’ Michelle Moons reported in August.
The companies selected to build the eight prototypes were:
Caddell Construction Co. (DE), LLC of Montgomery, AL
Fisher Sand & Gravel Co., DBA Fisher Industries of Tempe, AZ
Texas Sterling Construction Co. of Houston, TX
W.G. Yates & Sons Construction Company of Philadelphia, MS
"The concrete border wall prototypes will allow CBP to evaluate the potential for new wall and barrier designs that could complement the wall and barrier designs we have used along the border over the last several years," CBP officials stated. "As the border security environment continues to evolve, CBP will continually refresh its own inventory of tools to meet that evolution."
In June, one contractor produced a video showing a prototype of the wall, Breitbart Texas reported.

This might be an opportunity for a wife to get rid of a bad and abusive husband. Accidents do happen--She just has to be careful she doesn't back over him repeatedly.
[National Review] The regime continues to violate international norms, and it remains hostile to America. The Obama policy has failed.
We should not have been surprised by the reports that the United States may close its embassy in Havana after the State Department confirmed that 25 U.S. diplomats and relatives stationed in the Cuban capital have suffered mysterious sonic assaults. The consequences of the hits include permanent loss of hearing, concussions, light brain trauma, headaches, and constant whistling sounds, all possibly the result of sound waves directed at them. The injuries suffered by the U.S. diplomats and their families in Havana are clear and grave.
"As soon as some of the victims left Cuba, they stopped hearing noises," the Daily Mail reported, and "some of the victims are still struggling to concentrate or even recall common words, evidence of long-term mental damage."
Raúl Castro has denied that he had foreknowledge of any aggression, but he cannot evade responsibility without implying that his regime is incapable of honoring international treaties that require it to protect foreign diplomats. Some in Washington have been urging the U.S.
government to give Castro the benefit of the doubt.
The Cold War is over, they say, and the recent events are nothing but an "inexplicable" lapse in the "constructive" bilateral relations initiated by former president Barack Obama. But the constant internal repression and the international conduct of the Castro regime do not justify a positive evaluation.
[Iran Press TV] Venezuela’s opposition has announced that it will not attend planned talks with a government delegation in the Dominican Republic, saying the other side has failed to meet its promises regarding human rights When they're defined by the state or an NGO they don't mean much... and elections.
"There won’t be anyone traveling to Dominican Republic," read a Tweet from the opposition Democratic Unity coalition on Tuesday, adding, "We hope that in coming days they meet requirements, our desire is that this comes to fruition."
The Venezuelan opposition sent a delegation to meet the Dominican Republic’s president this month to seek a solution to the country’s deep political crisis. However, death is not the end. There remains the litigation over the estate... it boycotted the talks planned for Wednesday, saying the government could use the talks as a time-wasting "show" to protect itself amid a worsening economic situation.
At least 125 people were killed in months of festivities and protests in Venezuela earlier this year. President Nicolas Maduro has repeatedly accused the opposition and its Western backers of capitalizing on the country’s economic woes, which has been exacerbated by a global slump in oil prices, to undermine his Socialist government.
Amid the demands put forward by the opposition for attending talks are a date for the next presidential election, freedom for hundreds of locked away Drop the rod and step away witcher hands up! activists, a foreign humanitarian aid corridor, and respect for the opposition-led congress.

[Iran Press TV] The North Korean government has been secretly attempting to reach out to analysts close to the United States’ Republican Party in an effort to understand President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... .
The president and North Korean leader Kim Pudge Jong-un ...the overweight, pouty-looking hereditary potentate of North Korea. Pudge appears to believe in his own divinity, but has yet to produce any loaves and fishes, so his subjects remain malnourished... have recently stepped up threats against one another; however, Pyongyang’s outreach program for Asia experts with GOP connections in Washington even precedes that, The Washington Post reported on Tuesday.
"Their number one concern is Trump. They can’t figure him out," a person with direct knowledge of the move was cited as saying.
With tensions escalating between the two nuclear-armed states, such an approach would become more urgent as misunderstanding could serve as catastrophic.

[Iran Press TV] Calling Europe ...also known as Moslem Lebensraum... slow, weak and ineffective, French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday said the EU should embrace a joint budget, shared military force and harmonized taxes to stay globally relevant.
With Brexit looming, Macron warned the rest of Europe against the dangers of anti-immigrant nationalism and fragmentation, saying that goes against the principles of a shared Europe born from the tragedy of world wars.
"We thought the past would not come back ... we thought we had learned the lessons," Macron told a crowd of European students at the Sorbonne university Tuesday as he seeks to make La Belle France's mark on Europe's future.
After a far-right party entered the German parliament for the first time in 60 years, Macron said this isolationist attitude has resurfaced "because of blindness ... because we forgot to defend Europe."

So they need a Europe with an army to enforce its will on member states. And fuck what the people of Europe need. So frightening, I can't even imagine.

He thinks the EU is the way to avoid another world war like they experienced in the 20th century. Good luck with that. What happens when the EU clashes with Eurasia or East Asia? Are they gonna unite with the Chinese too? Instead of fighting they will bow down to the Chinese Communist Party? I wouldn't put it past them. A one-world government would be a fine idea if it was free, fair and democratic. But I think we all know that isn't going to happen.

[DAWN] Finance Minister Ishaq Dar appeared before an accountability court in Islamabad on Wednesday in connection with a corruption reference filed against him by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
The minister will be indicted in the case today. The reference was filed against Dar for possessing assets beyond his known sources of income.
A situation of chaos was observed outside the accountability court when Dar arrived for the hearing. The doors to the court were shut for news hounds, and the finance minister had to wait at least 20 minutes outside before he was allowed to enter the court premises from the back door.
No media representative is therefore witnessing the court proceedings which are currently underway.
On Monday, Accountability Judge Mohammad Bashir handed over a copy of the reference filed by NAB to Dar’s counsel, along with copies of related documents, which comprise 23 volumes.
The court had rejected a request by Dar’s counsel, Amjad Pervez, to grant them seven days to peruse the voluminous record, saying that since the Supreme Court had set a six-month deadline, it could not adjourn proceedings for a week.

Prominent anti-fascist leader Yvonne Felarca was arrested Tuesday following a rowdy Antifa "Victory March" in Berkeley, California.
Felarca, a 47-year-old middle school teacher who leads the Coalition to Defend Affirmative Action, Integration & Immigrant Rights and Fight for Equality by Any Means Necessary (BAMN), was arrested following a scuffle with demonstrators who had turned out for a Patriot Prayer rally.
Images and video obtained by Campus Reform appear to show Felarca being surrounded by numerous police officers in riot gear in the middle of the street. According to an eyewitness on the ground, the activist was then taken to the back of a police car that promptly left the scene.
Felarca, an organizer of many anti-fascist demonstrations in Berkeley, has a history of publically advocating for violence against her political opponents.
Earlier in the summer, Felarca was arrested and charged with inciting a riot after she openly punched a member of a white nationalist organization who was peacefully protesting in the street.
According to numerous reports, the video of the incident showed Felarca punching the man in the stomach while shouting "get the fuck off our streets."
The political organizer has also frequently clashed with the Republican students at Berkeley, accusing them, without evidence, of "stalking women" and targeting minorities.
UPDATE, 7:45 p.m. Eastern: Berkeley Police has released Felarca's mugshot via Twitter, confirming that she was arrested for "battery and resisting arrest." Mug shot of this mentor to Middle School (that's "Junior High School" to some of the crowd) kids is at link. You'll probably recognize the sweetheart.
