[Asharq al-Aswat] No country in the world was as patient with Qatar ...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates... ’s political transgressions as Soddy Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... , Bahrain, and UAE have been for the past two decades.

Qatar's Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani recent call for warmer relations with Iran has annoyed Saudi Arabia. I got that. But how much financial and intelligence support is Qatar giving Iran? And why? What is in it for Qatar?
[Dhaka Tribune] In March 2001, six months before September 11, the Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... destroyed the famous Buddha statues in Bamiyan ...a place in Afghanistan that used to have some historically interesting statues of the Buddha carved into a mountainside. Then the holy men showed up and now all they have is some big holes... , Afghanistan, calling them idols and therefore unIslamic.

[Mercer] A degenerate culture, filming and fawning over the most dangerous individuals in society, who are free to roam around and plot murder: UK’s Channel 4 produced a TV documentary, The Jihadis Next Door, strarring featuring one of the London Bridge attackers, Khuram Butt. Butt was not on the lam, or being apprehended by UK Insecurity Forces, or hunkering in a bunker in Iraq. He was parading around in Barking, east London, broadcasting his intentions. Pretty much.
Even the Imam at the mosque expelled Butt for his murderous lust, but not his British protectors. There were warnings. Scotland Yard? MI5? All missing in action. Always. Isn’t abnegation by the State Security apparatus the norm, rather than the exception? A norm the sheeple agree to live with?
British authorities hound, even jail, English men and women found in contempt of Islam. But never the reverse.

Rounding these bastids up and deporting them would amount to an admission of 30-40 years of immigration failure.
The goal of these tribal separatists is an urban independent state, a Swaziland on the Thames. If they can take control of the urban centers, they can exercise control and eventual dominance of the entire country.
[TheRightScoop] Krauthammer says that the reason they [Europe] have so many terror attacks is that Europeans don’t allow Muslims to integrate into their society the way we do. Tucker Carlson doesn’t see it that way ‐ he thinks we’re just 30 years separated from European terror attacks. Both views have some merit, but I think Krauthammer is arguing from a basis of reason applied to observation, while Carlson is going by what his populist ideology can sell to his gullible audience.

Assimilation and integration works just fine IF THE IMMIGRANTS WANT IT TO!!!!!
The basis for the melting pot in which my grandparents were stewed was that they knew that they were leaving a bad situation and moving to a good situation and that it was up to them to make it work.
Now they come here and feel entitled to other people's hard earned rewards. No assimilation or integration required.

Alan C: My family were Irish immigrants, my mother's family Polish. My wife's family immigrated from Europe after going through the Holocaust in Europe. I have often hear my mother-in-law say she loves this country. They all had to learn English, have a sponsor, and have the promise of a job. Immigration and assimilation did work with the culture from which they came--not so much with the current Islamic culture.

Charles Krauthammer comes awfully close to blaming the victim.
No Mr Anonymous blogger he does not. When European governments first began to embrace Multiculturalism critics warned of the predictable social downsides. And BTW, those admonitions were not exclusive to Muslim populations. As the enclaves began to multiply and those premonitions began to materialize any criticism was met fiercely with false allegations of bigotry. And given the trajectory resulting from the decades of Socialist Justice in the US Carlson's warning may develop even sooner than he predicted.

JQC, pretty much all Kraut here, first one about 1880 the rest by 1910. Maternal side kept more German traditions including a brew master but they all left cause the economy sucked in Germany.
Not one regretted the move but then they were all very young when they got here.

Western Europe is artificially contracepting itself into extinction. All of this is window dressing. No babies = no future. The US isn't far behind them, maybe 50 years.
[IsraelTimes] In a bid for world domination, Turkish President Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First ... Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him... is deliberately flooding Europe with Moslems to "Islamicize" the continent, former defense minister Moshe Ya’alon charged.
"Erdogan is intentionally Islamicizing Europe. People are ignoring it. It’s deliberate Islamization," he told The Times of Israel.
Today, three different streams of Islamic extremism aspire to global hegemony, said Ya’alon, who announced he will compete for the Israel premiership in the next elections. "Iranian Shiite Islam, the Sunni Islamic caliphate and the Moslem Brüderbund, led by Erdogan."
The Turkish president for years allowed jihadists from across the world to come to Syria and Iraq and return to their countries as skilled fighters, the former minister charged. He cited the Greek defense minister as complaining to him last year about The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire.... promoting illegal immigration to his country from Arab and Moslem states. The Greek official told Ya’alon about a young Moroccan, who on his way to Germany, arrived in Greece on a rubber boat after having flown to Turkey. Apparently, the man had paid only $50 for the ticket from Marrakech to Istanbul.
"That was a subsidized flight. Who subsidized it? They’re being pushed to Europe," Ya’alon said. The authorities in Athens gave Turkish intelligence a list of 1,224 Turks who were being smuggled to Europe, but Ankara denied any involvement, Ya’alon cited the Greek minister as saying.
"Erdogan is acting like a leader of the Moslem Brüderbund and he wants to Islamicize Europe," Ya’alon said. "So when the Europeans demanded he stop this stream [of refugees], what did he ask them? To allow Turks to go to Europe without visas. And what did he tell Turks living in Europe three weeks ago? To increase their birth rates! That’s the Islamization of Europe."
In a rally in March, for instance, Erdogan urged his compatriots in Europe to have "not just three but five children."
In addition, Turkey is funding mosques and Islamic cultural centers all over Europe, especially in the Balkans, the former defense minister said. "He wants hegemony also in Europe."
Ya’alon -- who had a falling out with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last year, after which he quit the government and the Knesset -- said the new US administration appears to be much closer to Israel’s position than that of Barack Obama I mean, I do think at a certain point you've made enough money... "After eight years of great gaps between Israel and US there is potential for change," he said, lauding Netanyahu for standing up to Obama. Ya’alon also praised Trump for considering Iran as "the core of the problem in the Middle East, and not as part of the solution," as the B.O. regime did, he said.
A dairy farmer-turned-general-turned-politician, Ya’alon accuses Netanyahu of corruption and of seeking to undermine Israel’s democracy, but agrees with him wholeheartedly on most, if not all, security and defense matters (though he said he was not happy about the June 2016 reconciliation deal Israel struck with The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire....
[American Spectator] Call it Global Stockholm Syndrome, Mass Psychogenic Illness, or the Leftist Plague, as it will be called, in a hundred years, by grandparents who are explaining to their grandchildren the demise of Western civilization. The disease that leaves the sufferer with not an ounce of critical thinking ability -- and, yes, leftism is a disease, one that is airborne, one that is spreading rapidly, and one that, sadly, there is no cure for.
First, we have to diagnose leftism, in the hopes that we can one day find a cure and even better, a vaccine to save future children the pain and suffering that goes along with this horrible disease. So, if you think you are coming down with symptoms, or fear loved ones are, or that 90 percent of your Facebook page has been infected with the leftist plague, here are the 20 ways of the "am I," or "are you," or "are they" leftist test:
1. Climate change is more of a threat than Islamic extremism.
2. You think the cure for terrorism is a hug.
3. You think the president or people on the right are more dangerous than Islamic terrorism.
4. You watch The View.
5. You think Joe and Mika make a cute couple.
6. You were saddened by the television show Girls being canceled.
7. You have more disdain for friends who think differently than jihadists who want to kill you.
8. You need a "safe space."
9. You think people should be fired for free speech.
10. You find yourself protesting in Birkenstocks.
11. You agree with Tucker’s second guest.
12. The president has caused you to lose sleep, given you rashes, harmed your sex life, or "broken you."
13. You are or want to be a pundit on CNN or MSNBC.
14. You find Samantha Bee even mildly amusing.
15. You take ten private jets to a climate change summit
16. You have private armed security and call for gun control.
17. You are in the entertainment industry; yes, there are a handful of exceptions, and I mean a handful.
18. You have had a sexual fantasy featuring Bernie Sanders or 19. Sarah Silverman and think a summer home in Venezuela sounds romantic.
19. You find Don Lemon informative.
20. You haven’t laughed once while reading this.
The list could keep going, and leftism, like alcoholism, is a disease that only the sufferer can truly diagnose. But, if you have answered "yes" to at least one of these, I would highly suggest getting immediate medical attention. If you are not seeing a psychiatrist, there is no time like the present, and if you get that message asking if this is a medical emergency, please call 911; please do. If you have answered "yes" to three or more of these questions, an exorcism would be more beneficial. I’m afraid that, even with all the advances in modern medicine and therapy, your disease might be beyond human repair.

Yes, and just like trying to tell an alcoholic he has an alcohol problem - he/she can't hear/understand/believe you.
Why is there no "Progressives Anonymous"?

Well, I think #20 could also be a symptom of advance cynicism. I didn't laugh at any of them because a) I didn't know most of the names referenced; b) anything having to do with leftism is NOT funny but nauseatingly gross.
