The original NYT headline is the rub in this article. They have been at this racket for a very long time.
Even after they starved half the people at Jamestown for their futile and idiotic purpose.

Ain't the meme of "Climate Change" great (sark)? You can have it both ways; whether it's cooling or warming. These troglodyte alarmists flip-flop their position more than James Comey or Hillary Clinton.
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Recent reports have claimed that a dispute erupted between ousted Yemeni president President-for-Life Ali Abdullah Saleh ... Saleh initially took power as a strongman of North Yemen in 1977, when disco was in flower, but he didn't invite Donna Summer to the inauguration and Blondie couldn't make it... and the Houthis. This is good news and was also expected for a while now.
Who will turn against the other first? This is the question when it comes to this "hybrid" alliance between a party ‐ that claims to be nationalist and fights against the governance of the Imamate and whose "legitimacy" is as a result of revolting against the governance of Hamid ed-Dine imams ‐ and a group that believes in the myths of the Imamate and the Zaidi Hashemi rule. What adds to these is the more dangerous and mythical Khomeini component of their practices.

[Grabien News] News just broke that President Trump is dismissing the director of the FBI, James Comey.
Comey will inevitably be remembered for the controversial role he played in the 2016 presidential election, where his agency conducted surveillance of the Trump campaign as well as investigated the Clinton camp for mishandling classified materials, giving both sides arguments for how the FBI ultimately swayed the vote.
But even before the 2016 campaign, the FBI endured a number of humiliations under Comey's tenure. Most damning were revelations that the FBI was generally aware of almost every terrorist who successfully struck America over the last eight years.
Here are 10 of Comey's biggest embarrassments at the FBI:
1. Before he bombed the Boston Marathon, the FBI interviewed Tamerlan Tsarnaev but let him go. Russia sent the Obama Administration a second warning, but the FBI opted against investigating him again.
2. Shortly after the NSA scandal exploded in 2013, the FBI was exposed conducting its own data mining on innocent Americans; the agency, Bloomberg reported, retains that material for decades (even if no wrongdoing is found).
3. The FBI had possession of emails sent by Nidal Hasan saying he wanted to kill his fellow soldiers to protect the Taliban -- but didn't intervene, leading many critics to argue the tragedy that resulted in the death of 31 Americans at Fort Hood could have been prevented.

Michele R. McPhee, Maximum Harm, The Tsarnaev Brothers, The FBI, And The Road to The Marathon Bombing, pg 143.
The office of the Inspector General for the Intelligence Community examined those issues and the questions of whether Tamerlan was an asset (and if he wan't, why not) in its report on information sharing among the intelligence community:
1. Why did the CT (Counterterrorism Unit of the FBI) agent not visit Tamerlan's mosque [in Cambridge]?
2. Why did the CT agent not interview the woman Tamerlan was accused of assaulting?
3. Why did the CT agent not interview Tamerlan's wife, Katherine Russell aka Krina [sic] Tsarnaeva?
4. Why was Tamerlan not asked about if he sympathized with Chechen rebels?

McPhee's theory is that the Tamerlan Tsarnaev was very likely a recruited FBI asset. Her book, which is a fascinating read BTW, makes a very compelling case. She has certainly 'run the traps.'

Only 10? Why does it seem like so many more? Maybe it's all this drama queen's face time on TV and before Congress. Comey and Loretta Lynch and the DOJ and the FBI by trying to cover up all the scandals and protecting the arses of the Clintons and Obama. He would have better-served the country just by following the Constitution and the law rather than dancing on the head of a pin.
"50 bucks says that Comey will show up to work today because he couldn't discern intent from that letter."

Scandal #11 - the "The Innocence of Muslims" Nakoula debacle. Similar to the Tsarnaev deal - Nakoula was directly tied to a Islamic Terror financier when he was arrested for money laundering/fraud prior to the film being made - likely recruited by the FBI, if not, why not...and the film contributed to the whole unrest mess that that Hillary blamed for causing Benghazi...

Even though Comey was dismissed, the sun came up this morning. No massive walk-outs at FBI Main or any of the field offices. My mail arrived at about the same time. Gasoline prices appear to be unchanged. Mother's Day has not been cancelled. None of my neighbors have been... caught away into the clouds. The Russians are still the Russians.
[American Thinker] When George Will and other leading intellectuals started to rip holes in their warm comfort couches in despair at Donald Trump's long series of victories, culminating in his election to the presidency, a lot of us were scratching our heads. What was it about winning that drove George Will, Jonah Goldberg, and Bill Kristol to despair?
It made no sense. I blame new money.
Their Conservative Cringe makes even less sense today, when Trump is carrying out a series of actions that we have long clamored for.

He's not a 'White's Man', he's really not one of us.
White’s
White’s is one of the oldest and most exclusive clubs in London, established in 1693. This members-only haven of serenity is situated in a grand Portland stone Grade I-listed building on St. James’ Street, secreted away in Piccadilly. The club remains of the male-only persuasion. A plethora of royals are presently members including heir to the throne, Prince Charles. Complete with gaming rooms, a majestic bar, and a menu replete with British game, White’s is an enclave of tradition nestled in the bosom of modern London.

Does anyone read George Will or listen to him on Sunday mornings other than some in the UniParty in Washington? He is no more a conservative than Jonah Goldberg and Bill Kristol. Will puts me in mind of Cokie Roberts. He is a word merchant who peddles a phony kind of intellectual schtick passed off as cleverness. Will ought to stick to writing about baseball.
[Hot Air] Why not, says King? "Already has his clearances, knows the subject, man of integrity." Man of integrity? We all knew last night when the word came down that Democrats (or Democratic-leaning independents like King) would instantly start rehabbing Comey’s image on their side to make him a more effective martyr for Trump, but good lord. A week ago the reigning Democratic nominee was on camera accusing Comey of having cost her the election. Now he’s a "man of integrity." At this rate, we’re headed for a Trump/Comey election in 2020. What color ribbon will Democrats be wearing on their lapels next week to make the tragic end of James Comey’s career?

Schumer is ignored by everyone but the MSM. He is always tripping over his lip as he flips on issues. He has been on a quest for relevancy ever since the Pubs took over. It is a shame the good people of NY can't find another Senator who would better represent them and who wasn't a partisan hack.
After President Trump accused his predecessor in March of wiretapping him, James B. Comey, the F.B.I. director, was flabbergasted. The president, Mr. Comey told associates, was “outside the realm of normal,” even “crazy.”
For his part, Mr. Trump fumed when Mr. Comey publicly dismissed the sensational wiretapping claim. In the weeks that followed, he grew angrier and began talking about firing Mr. Comey. After stewing last weekend while watching Sunday talk shows at his New Jersey golf resort, Mr. Trump decided it was time. There was “something wrong with” Mr. Comey, he told aides."
POTUS, as the US' CEO, pushed the trapdoor actuator before the relationship became more toxic.
Schumer, Pelosi, etc., have demonstrated that the concept of "Loyal Opposition" is passé.
POTUS knows that firing Comey (who DJT may have viewed as a tool of the Left) was the alternate to the Chinese Water Torture of keeping him?
