[TownHall.com] Understand that if America is stupid enough to let liberals take power again, they will persecute and prosecute normal Americans like us who dare to dissent. That's not a guess or a prediction - that's a commitment they have made to their fascist followers. They've seen what the truth can do to their schemes. After 2016, there's no way they are going to take a chance on another electoral rejection by us normals, so they don't even pretend to support free speech anymore. It will be one gender neutral being-one vote, one more time, and then never again.
Hold on. That's clearly nuts, right? This is obviously crazy talk that's talking crazy, isn't it? Don't liberals love free speech?
[Dhaka Tribune] A few years back, I witnessed something that I, ever since, have identified as the prime example of a despicable direct attack on religious minorities.
It was a Friday afternoon. I was wrapping up my prayer mat, scanning the area for some shade to complete the munazat, when I saw few men storming towards an under-construction building. I grew genuinely alarmed, if not interested, when I saw one of them pick up a piece of metal rod before entering the construction site.
I was a curious little boy and had the time, so I followed. I quietly followed them as they made their way up the stairs. The end of the expedition had all of us walking into a small room on the fifth floor facing the mosque, to find an old labourer tirelessly working his razor-sharp saw at some steel beams, trying to cut out small segments. It was a noisy business.

Someone need to tell those guys to quit acting like liberals.
[Right Scoop] Mark Levin opened his show tonight on the stunning investigative report on the Obama nuke deal from Politico this morning. He read from the post while giving commentary along the way, explaining just how big this really is and how the administration and media lied about it.

Rememberhow obsessed the media was over Michael Flynn having a phone call with the Russian Ambassador? Levin points that out and adds that while he despises Putin, “Barack Obama has done more damage to America than Vladimir Putin has done on this best day!”
The Flynn thing was just dissembling, diversion and a smoke screen to conceal a really, really bad treasonous deal with the Iranians as well as other criminality from being investigated during the past 8 years?

In reading this and remembering the description of how powerful and omnipresent ValJar was throughout the White House policy circles, can there be any doubt who was the architect of all this? That so many places always saw a beneficial outcome for Iran in decisions cannot merely be advocacy from the top. They had to provide their agent with specific places to apply pressure or delays for their benefit. I know Sessions has the stones for doing what is right, but opening this will reveal a level of treachery and corruption at the heart of the Obama presidency unprecedented in our history. Does anyone have the resolve to turn this rock over?

“Barack Obama has done more damage to America than Vladimir Putin has done on this best day!”
Day?! In one stroke, 0bumhole did more damage to the world than all of Putin's efforts put together! And this is only the beginning. Wait until the rest surfaces.
[The Hill] Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said on Monday night that government funding negotiations can continue, after President Trump appeared open to delaying a fight over the border wall until the fall.
"It's good for the country that President Trump is taking the wall off the table in these negotiations. Now the bipartisan and bicameral negotiators can continue working on the outstanding issues," Schumer said in a statement.
The administration's push for border wall money had stalled negotiations over the fiscal 2017 funding bill that lawmakers have to pass by Friday to avoid a government shutdown.
But Trump told a group of conservative journalists that he would be OK with getting funding for the U.S.-Mexico wall as part of the fiscal 2018 spending bill that will be passed later this year.
In 1906, Congress appropriated a sum of money not to exceed $100,000 for the repairs and restoration of Constitution. Despite expenditure of these funds, by 1924 the condition of the frigate was such that if she was not rebuilt, the Navy’s only two choices would be to break up the ship or let Constitution sink at the dock. The Secretary of the Navy, Curtis D. Wilbur, upon viewing the ship, appointed a Board of Inspection and Survey which after inspecting the ship, recommended on February 19, 1924 that Wilbur ask Congress for a $400,000 appropriation. “The Secretary, however, took the attitude that it would be a fine gesture on the part of the people of the country, and particularly the school children, if they contributed small donations for the purpose.”

When 'Chuck' agrees with something, I almost always think it's a bad idea.
Experience from historical data, I guess.

Absolutely Mullah Richard. If Schumer is for something, it is a safe bet to be against it. His motivation is strictly Party and not what's good for the country.

Either the will of the people is obeyed(border enforcement is overwhelmingly supported) by our elected representatives, or they lose the consent of the governed. The defeat of the signature promise of the Trump administration will be seen, rightly, as proof that Washington governs for the benefit of the elites, and that illegal immigration is the cornerstone of the democrat party strategy for a socialist future. You cannot let this happen or all credibility will evaporate.
[DAWN] THE past couple of weeks have seen a series of chilling events related to blasphemy -- or rather accusations of it -- unfold in the country. On April 13, Mashal Khan was brutally lynched at his university in Mardan. This was followed by a similarly gruesome incident in Sialkot on Wednesday when three sisters murdered a man, Fazal Abbas, accused of blasphemy. Just as the nation was reeling from these bloody incidents, news emerged from Chitral on Friday regarding another blasphemy accusation. As reported in this paper, a mentally disturbed man created a ruckus during Friday prayers in a local mosque. His remarks worked up the crowd, which tried to get hold of him. However, denial ain't just a river in Egypt... the local preacher was quick enough to hand him over to the police, which surely saved his life. Yet the mob was not satisfied and stormed the cop shoppe to punish the ’blasphemer’. Footage from the scene is horrifying: while security and administration officials try to calm them down, the assembled mob of thousands bays for the man’s blood. Security forces had to resort to tear gas shelling to disperse the mob.
Indeed, it appears that all sense of reason, logic and rationality is fast disappearing from this country, and even the flimsiest of accusations seems to be enough to set a mob upon an individual. Few are concerned with the facts of the case -- with details such as whether the offence even took place, what was the mental condition of the suspected offender, whether any personal enmity was involved, etc falling by the wayside. There is an instant demand for ’justice’, as the mob plays judge, jury and executioner. While Mashal Khan and Fazal Abbas’ lives were lost to this madness, there was a silver lining to the Chitral case: the holy man played a commendable role by handing over the seemingly deranged individual to the police. The law enforcers, too, did the right thing by sending him for a medical examination. As is more often seen in such circumstances, holy mans are the ones working up the mob into a murderous frenzy. But in Chitral, the preacher’s quick action helped save a life. Indeed, in order to help prevent further such incidents, the state should work with religious parties to help calm down mobs whenever blasphemy accusations spring up. Changing society’s mindset may take decades; using holy mans to control mobs may be an essential first step.

reason, logic and rationality is fast disappearing from this country,
Can you specify the last point at which any of those hadn't disappeared? What changed?
...The Final Solution, with its immediate extermination of the Jews, has been replaced by the Two State Solution, an intermediate process in which the land on which Jews can live in security is partitioned into smaller and smaller pieces.
The Lebensraum of Islam demands ever more breathing room. And fewer breathing Jews. Israel is carved up into smaller indefensible ghettos. The number of places where the world decides that Jews can be allowed to live, shrink. The rest become "settlers" who must be evicted for the sake of peace. Even if the place they're "settling" is Jerusalem. The oldest Jewish city on earth.
And this Two State Solution, this intermediate process, has the almost universal backing of the major Jewish organizations who are so very deeply concerned about the Holocaust. It has the backing of the diplomats and politicians who put out canned statements urging that we learn the lessons of the Holocaust. The only lesson they have learned though is that another Holocaust needs better marketing.
...There have been two Jewish responses to the Holocaust, on the one hand promoting tolerance and assimilation and on the other hand the State of Israel. Tolerance has done nothing to prevent the hatred and murder of Jews. In many cases it has actually served to promote it.
Every Muslim attack in Europe and America can be laid at the door of tolerance. When a Jewish woman is thrown out of a window in Paris or a Rabbi is beaten in Brussels, the true perpetrator is "tolerance".
...Today the two responses to the Holocaust are battling out to the death, Tolerance and Assimilation vs the State of Israel. And the State of Israel is getting the worst of it. The teachers of tolerance blame Israel for the failure of their own ideology, manifest in the rising hatred of Jews around the world. If Israel wouldn't exist, somehow Jews wouldn't be hated, their thesis goes. As if Anti-semitism had been discovered lying around in a dustbin sometime after 1948.
But it is tolerance meanwhile that is killing Israel. The left has pushed Israel to the wall, because it represents the inversion of their ideology, it represents the reality that the best hope of the persecuted is not in multiculturalism or in tolerance classes, but in taking responsibility for their own safety and survival.

The courts have failed. The culture is failing. Unless Congress acts, we may lose not only free speech on college campuses, but free speech in America. In the memorable phrase of my friend, Foundation for Individual Rights in Education president Greg Lukianoff, college students are "unlearning liberty," carrying the virus of censorship and oppression beyond the university and into the nation. Hit them in the pocket.
p.s. Maybe it's time to start rethinking the entire "Get college degree and earn more money." thing

The concept is good but it should probably be someone other than Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos. IMO Hillsdale College should be in charge of this effort. Presently, one would be hard-pressed to find a conservative or Pub amongst the university academic or administrative ranks--the left began taking over in the 1960s and have run with it ever since.
