[The Hill] Former CIA Director John Brennan was reportedly "deeply saddened" by President Trump's remarks at the Central Intelligence Agency on Saturday.
According to former CIA deputy chief of staff Nick Shapiro, Brennan believes that Trump "should be ashamed of himself" for his "display of simple facts self-aggrandizement."
"Former CIA director Brennan is deeply saddened and angered at Donald Trump's despicable display of self-aggrandizement in front of CIA's Memorial Wall of Agency heroes. Brennan says that Trump should be ashamed of himself," Shapiro said in a pair of tweets.
During his remarks on Saturday, Trump took the opportunity to blast the media for their coverage of the inauguration, accusing news networks of lying about the size of the crowd that attended the event.
"Honestly it looked like a million and half people, whatever it was it was. But it went all the way back to the Washington Monument ... and by mistake I get this network and it showed an empty field, and it said we drew 250,000 people. Now that's not bad, but its a lie," Trump said.
Trump also denied having a "feud" with the intelligence community, blaming it on "dishonest" media and vowing to strongly support intelligence officials.
"As you know I have a running war with the media," Trump said. Now you know, that I know, so please muzzle your dogs.
"They are among the most dishonest human beings on earth. And they sort of made it sound like I had a feud with the intelligence community. And just want to let you know that the reason you’re the No. 1 stop is exactly the opposite."

While the left works the donors, Hollywood, and msm, Trump works the grass roots. Started day 1 of his campaign, started day 1 in office. The secret to his success.

Anon, I think there is a difference between a feud with the CIA leadership, Brennan, and the CIA community-the rank and file. The CIA is full of hard working Americans that care for our nation. The leadership has become political and needs to be fixed.

In an analogy to waste water treatment, the scum that settles on top of the secondary cell or clarifier, must be skimmed off and returned to the mixed liquor in the primary cell, for further aeration and broken down into CO2 and H2O

[Breitbart] Legendary interviewer Larry King assured fans that he was not hurt after protesters objecting to the peaceful transfer of power between presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump smashed in the windows of his car.
"Protestors in DC smashed the windows of my hired SUV & many other cars," King posted on Twitter. "I was working in-studio & am ok, but my driver is a bit rattled."
- Scarlett Johansson was seven minutes into her speech when her mic was cut off
- She was visibly annoyed and tried to shrug it off before complaining to a friend
- The 32-year-old said she would support Trump if he supported women's rights
- Johansson called on the president to allow her daughter to have the same access to services and 'privileges' that Ivanka Trump had during her youth Note to activists. Never ever diss one of your own (hopefully in perception only) when they are behind enemy lines.

Scarlett Johansson has an estimated net worth of $80 million. Perhaps she might like to consider using her own money to pay for her daughters "privileges".

I sure hope the girls get back from the march in time to clean up the kitchen...I have friends coming over later to watch football and we are going to need some hot snacks!!!
I need some shirts ironed for work this week too.

Actually Scarlett was by far the most respectful and least insulting speakers at the march (for contrast, see Ashley "nasty woman" Judd). Trump should invite her to the WH and pretend to listen to her.

Rambler in Virginia, The right they truly care about is the right for blacks to abort their babies in large numbers because that is primarily who is getting the abortions at Planned Parenthood.
Trump needs to let folks know they are promoting racist genocide wrapped in women's rights and split the African-Americans away from the Democrat plantation.
A spokesman for the Secret Service told The Gateway Pundit the agency is aware of the comment by aging pop star Madonna made at a large liberal women’s protest against President Donald Trump held in Washington, D.C., Saturday, that she has "thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House." The spokesman said an investigation would be opened but that the decision to prosecute rests with the U.S. Attorney’s office.
Transcript from the video excerpt of Madonna’s speech made at the Women’s March on Washington which appeared to be from prepared remarks.
"I’m angry. Yes, I am outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House. (Crowd cheers.) But I know that this won’t change anything. We cannot fall into despair. As the poet W. H. Auden once wrote on the eve of World War Two, "We must love one another or die." I choose love. Are you with me? (Crowd cheers.) Say this with me: We choose love!...We choose love!...We choose love!"
1. video of Madonna saying the thing she is accused of saying.
2. article in magazine of interview in which Madonna confirms she said that thing and is proud of it [OR that she is sorry she said it, because it was dumb.]
3. Recommendation: Trace her web of telephone and internet contacts. Unless she turns out to be connected to groups involved with violence, ignore the silly, self-important performer, as she lacks the skills or contacts to achieve her claimed goal. What she really wants is attention.

Forget CNN. Fox news is pulling away with the power every day. They let go George Will at Fox, Hallelujah!!. Then they bring on Farage. “He was right when he called it a movement but a movement can’t exist, a movement can’t flourish without a leader and Trump is the only person I’ve ever met in my life who makes me feel like an introvert. He is a larger than life personality. When he was given the rule book for how you run for president, he tore it up." Now that's saying something. This is going to be fun.

Seems to me the Media has found Trump's weak spot. He doesn't like to admit he was incorrect. So they'll drag it out and show the photo comparisons until they can make him look the fool or force an admission of being incorrect.
For some in the Clinton orbit, the 2016 cycle has not ended. In fact, Hillary Clinton’s stunning upset loss to President Donald J. Trump seems to have prompted some of her top allies to open another front to defeat the president through impeachment. Joe Schoffstall and Lachlan Markay of the Washington Free Beacon have obtained a confidential memo from longtime Clinton ally David Brock that alleges he will use his PAC, American Bridge, to set the wheels in motion.
This will be a multi-year project, with Brock hoping that articles of impeachment against Trump will come out of their work. He also hopes to build a network of donors that rivals the right-leaning Koch Brothers:
Brock is currently at the Turnberry Isle Resort in Aventura, Fla. for a weekend conference with more than 100 major liberal donors. Attendees are mapping out a course to combat the newly sworn-in president.
According to the private and confidential memo, Brock plans to defeat Trump "through impeachment," using American Bridge, his liberal super PAC, as the main vehicle to do so.
"No other progressive organization has the resources and assets that American Bridge has amassed over the past several election cycles to hold Trump, his administration, and the politicians accountable," the 44-page confidential memo states.

The problem with the plan of impeachment in the next 4 years is it has to go through congress. Two years from now during the next congressional election the map is not favorable to the demoncrats and they won't get back the house, which is necessary to start the impeachment.
They also have to win the senate, which is possible but difficult, but there is no way they will get a 2/3 vote to impeach.
The only sweet spot for them to actually do this is if Trump wins ANOTHER term and then the demoncrats win back congress in the 6th year and manage to convince a lot of Republican Senators that Trump is a crook.
Soo... pie in the sky liberal wet dream meets shitty plan and while both are doing nasty things with each other in liberal's brains, reality runs over everyone with a tank.
President Donald Trump assured employees at the CIA of his strong support and said he would unleash them to defeat Islamic terrorists after previous presidents had held the intelligence community back during the nation’s 16-year-old war with extremists.
The Donald assumes that the CIA wants to be unleashed against terrorists. I wouldn't be so sanguine...
"We have not used the real abilities that we have. We’ve been restrained,” Trump said in a rambling speech that strayed into criticism of the media, his performance during Friday’s inaugural speech and his belief that the U.S. should have “kept the oil” after invading Iraq.
Standing before the CIA Memorial Wall, which is engraved with stars representing employees who lost their lives in service to the country, Trump rejected the notion that he had been in a “feud" with the intelligence community over its investigation of the Russian government’s hacking of the presidential campaign.
He was not specific about what additional “abilities" the Central Intelligence Agency should use against terrorism, but during his presidential campaign, Trump openly suggested his predecessor, Barack Obama, was wrong to ban waterboarding and other “enhanced” interrogation techniques criticized as torture.
"Radical Islamic terrorism, and I said it yesterday, has to be eradicated, just off the face of the Earth," Trump said in his speech at the CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia. "This is evil."
Trump visited the agency on his first full day on the job to begin patching up relations strained by his public criticism of the intelligence community’s investigation of Russia’s hacks of Democratic Party officials’ e-mail accounts during the campaign. After winning election, Trump repeatedly questioned the community’s findings.
"These are the same people that said Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction," Trump’s office said in a December statement challenging the findings on Russian hacking.
In a later pair of tweets, Trump appeared to accuse Obama CIA chief John Brennan of being behind the leak of an unverified dossier purporting to contain compromising information on Trump and said the previous team “couldn’t do much worse.”
Trump was angered by comments Brennan made in a Fox News interview in his final week in office.
“What I do find outrageous is equating intelligence community with Nazi Germany,” Brennan, who served in the administrations of Presidents George W. Bush and Obama, said in the interview. “I do take great umbrage at that, and there is no basis for Mr. Trump to point fingers at the intelligence community for leaking information that was already available publicly.”
Trump quickly retorted, saying on Twitter: “Oh really, couldn’t do... much worse - just look at Syria (red line), Crimea, Ukraine and the build-up of Russian nukes. Not good! Was this the leaker of Fake News?,” a reference to the dossier.
Now as president, Trump was more conciliatory.
“There is nobody who feels stronger about the intelligence community and the CIA than Donald Trump,” he said. He was accompanied by his National Security Adviser, Michael Flynn, and his nominee to lead the agency, Mike Pompeo, who is awaiting Senate confirmation.
"Maybe sometimes you haven’t got the backing that you’ve wanted," Trump said. "You’re going to get so much backing, maybe you’re going to say, ‘please don’t give us so much backing. Mr. President, please don’t give us so much backing.’"
After an introduction by acting CIA Director Meroe Park, Trump jokingly suggested that most of the audience had voted for him, but said he wouldn’t ask them to raise their hands. "The military gave us tremendous percentages of votes," he said. "Probably almost everybody in this room voted for me. I would guarantee a big portion."
He just can't help himself, can he...
The visit was planned with the expectation that Pompeo, a Kansas Republican, would be confirmed by the Senate on Friday and could be sworn in Saturday. Instead, objections from Democrats postponed the vote until next week.

"The military gave us tremendous percentages of votes," he said."
A sharp stick in the eye to his hosts. Flynn has had to have informed him of their decades long contempt for DoD and the military.
[CNN] It was not the Inauguration Day that Hillary Clinton ... former first lady, former secretary of state, former presidential candidate, sometimes described by her supporters as the smartest woman in the world, usually described by the rest of us as a crook... imagined.
When the skies finally opened up on Friday and rain began to fall over the US Capitol, Clinton's turn to stand before the thousands gathered on the Mall and take the oath of office as the 45th president never came.
Instead, she remained seated with her husband, Bill Clinton ...former Democratic president of the U.S. Bill was the second U.S. president to be impeached, the first to deny that oral sex was sex, the first to have difficulty with the definition of is... , by her side. And she watched a man whom she believes is fundamentally unfit to hold the highest office of the land get sworn in as her next president.
Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... 's inauguration on Friday and the ceremonial passing of the baton by Barack Obama I inhaled. That was the point... crystalized before a watchful nation the deeply personal loss that Clinton had suffered in November.
For the former Democratic presidential nominee, the decision to attend Friday's ceremony was not an easy one.
Clinton anticipated that it would be painful for her to watch Trump become the next president, according to a former aide, but felt she had no choice but to attend given her role both as former first lady and Trump's challenger. It weighed on her, this aide added, that her presence symbolized the peaceful transition of power, regardless of her own emotions about the day.
The Clintons arrived on Capitol Hill shortly before the swearing-in. At the same time, the presidential motorcade was making its way down Pennsylvania Ave. towards the Capitol. In one car sat two men who had each taken away Clinton's dreams of becoming president -- Obama and Trump.
Clinton wore a white coat -- something she did often on the campaign trail to represent the color women wore during the suffrage movement. She and Bill Clinton were introduced to the inaugural stage by the announcer as "the 42nd president of the United States, William Jefferson Clinton, and the honorable Hillary Rodham Clinton." ... sometimes described as Deplorable, Irredeemable and at other times as Mrs. Bill, never as Another William H. Seward ...
For Clinton's supporters, both were painful reminders of how close Clinton -- the first woman to clinch a major political party's nomination for president -- had come to becoming to the president of the United States.
With the exception of when she exchanged pleasantries with other dignitaries on the stage, Clinton, for the most part, appeared stoic.
Trump, with his former political opponent seated behind him, delivered an inaugural address reminiscent of his campaign speeches, vowing that the "forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer."
"This American carnage stops right here and stops right now," Trump said.

After all the fighting, most of her antics were vile and unacceptable. At least she was man enough to stand up and be there admitting her defeat. I don't give that woman much credit, but she gets it for this humiliating defeat and still going.
Or, maybe it was Bill that forced her to go because it was as close as he could get to Trumps daughters!!!

The sad thing about Hillary is that she cannot stand outside herself, like great leaders, and see herself and correct mistakes and improve. IMHO, Hillary was more of a figurehead than a leader to be. Her record in public "service" was lacking, to be charitable. Bill and a bunch of others put her up to this presidency thing to use her as a figurehead for their own nefarious aims. They appealed to her ego, her "right" of being the first woman president, etc. etc. The sad thing is that she really had no product to sell, other than First Woman President(TM). She was used as a cheap trick, and she maybe has started to realize this.

For all the fussing about her presence and feelings, Hillary was merely there as the wife of former president Bill Clinton. All of the other presidential candidates who were there came in their capacities as serving legislators or incoming officials in the Trump administration.

AlanC's description is spot on, and that is what made it easy for her to be used by people smarter than her. As AP pointed out. The latter, would not have been possible with the former.

See, AlanC and I may have a different approach on how we see her and her role in the election, but we can still be civil and friends.....Hey Alan, watcha doing with that boxed set of 18 century dueling pistols? [ABC.NET.AU] When Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... arrived at the inaugural luncheon following his swearing-in as US President, he immediately shook hands with his election rival Hillary Clinton ... former first lady, former secretary of state, former presidential candidate, sometimes described by her supporters as the smartest woman in the world, usually described by the rest of us as a crook... , who was sitting with members of his family.
"There is something that I wanted to say," he told those who had gathered.
"I was very honoured -- very, very honoured -- when I heard that President Bill Clinton ...former Democratic president of the U.S. Bill was the second U.S. president to be impeached, the first to deny that oral sex was sex, the first to have difficulty with the definition of is... and Secretary Hillary Clinton was coming today.
"I'd like you to stand up, I'd like you to stand up."
What followed was a standing ovation, but it wasn't the one that Mrs Clinton had been looking forward to getting on January 20, 2017, before her dream of returning to the White House -- this time as president rather than first lady -- was shattered last November.

"And that is, it looks like you ended up in the same seat you had in 2012."
I'm sure Bill spent more time "admiring" (putting it loosely) and "valuing" (again, putting it loosely) women (...uh...putting it loosely) other than Hillary than he did her.
If she wants to claim the title, I'm guessing its more akin to "interim head coach" than it was a permanent position.

For me the most glorious thing of the entire inauguration was watching Bill and Hillary leave the capital and get into a single sedan to drive away the end of great expectations and return to being almost unimportant. Everything they do has the undercurrent of power and access, which can be bought. When they are clearly relegated to sideline mementos of past significance no one wants to pay for their silly speeches or fund that ridiculous bribery fund masquerading as a charity. Huma waited outside and Bill will go back to serial lechery as they slide into insignificance. Thank God!

As to "allowed out without paying bail" it will be tricky getting a conviction from a hypothetical DC jury, but these are frequent flyers all, and next time around, in a "real" state, they have skipped bail on Felony Riot charges, re-offended, and bad things start to happen.
"Dans ce pay-ci, il est bon de tuer de temps en temps un amiral pour encourager les autres."
Every city needs to round up a gaggle of scum, and put them through a bit of "convict boot camp". Or, as Ronnie Johns (playing "Chopper Reed") would say, "Harden the f#&K up"

Of course, even if they bother to show up for trial, get convicted and sentenced (all unlikely), if a Democrat takes over in 2020, his or her first act will be to commute their sentences. And award them the Presidential Medal of Freedom for their "heroic" acts.
And how the heck do you get released on your own recognizance on a FELONY charge?

Failure to show ends up with an outstanding bench warrant applicable to all 50 states. Nothing like giving the 'man' the means to screw with you anytime, anyplace.
Police arrested 217 people in Washington D.C., on Friday after Inauguration Day protests turned into a full-scale riot.
The anti-President Donald Trump protests began largely peaceful Friday morning, but after Trump's noon swearing in, the protests became increasingly violent before they descended into a riot.
Rioters set fire to newsstands and trash cans in the middle of some D.C. streets, while others lit car fires, smashed business windows and injured police officers. and the rioters all had similar gear and clothing - who organized and funded the riot?

Democratic Party brings Jews & Muslims together - do Muslims have to bring their own knives?
[BLOOMBERG] Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... began his first full day in office Saturday at a prayer service in Washington where pastors of many faiths urged him to embrace peace and compassion, as tens of thousands of women gathered across town on the National Mall to protest his presidency.
"Look with compassion, O heavenly Father, upon the widowed and orphans, outcasts and refugees, prisoners, and all who are in danger, that they may find you and be comforted," Anthony Vance, director of public affairs at the United States Baha’i Community, read during the service at the National Cathedral, a U.S. post-inaugural tradition dating to George Washington.
Trump will travel in the afternoon to CIA headquarters to meet with intelligence agents, his press secretary, Sean Spicer, said on Twitter. He’ll be accompanied by his National Security Adviser, Michael Flynn, and his nominee to lead the Central Intelligence Agency, Representative Mike Pompeo, two people familiar with the matter said.
Trump’s relationship with the intelligence community is strained after he publicly criticized its leaders for announcing that the U.S. had determined the Russian government was responsible for hacking Democratic Party officials’ e-mail accounts during the presidential campaign.

[POLITICO] President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... ’s staff started arriving at the White House less than two hours after their boss took the oath of office.
Raj Shah, a new deputy communications director, showed news hounds his teal-blue badge (in contrast to the B.O. regime’s royal blue hard passes) and said he was on hand "literally to hit ’send’ on things." Indeed, the prepared text of Trump’s inaugural speech and the first White House pool report landed in inboxes from a White House press address labeled "OCIO."
It’s unclear how many others will make it onto the White House campus on Friday, Shah said. Vans have been carrying staffers over from the transition offices, "a bunch of NSC staff, primarily," he said, referring to the National Security Council.
Asked whether Trump would make more executive moves during his first hours in office beyond those he signed at the Capitol, Shah said, "Stay tuned for that."
He added: "Don’t start drinking yet."

A long time ago (and far far away) I was involved in a study regarding variations in the current draw of light bulbs when subject to changing air pressure. The results led to a change from incandescent to fluorescent bulbs, and power filters on limited access rooms.
A little more recently I read a patent brief for a paint additive with similar interesting properties. When energized (illuminated) the molecule would vibrate in out of band frequencies. Pretty much a light powered tunable transponder, in the paint.
Remember the new embassy building in Russia a few years back? Frequency scans for transmitters is no longer a sufficient preventative. Active anechoic treatments will be necessary.
