[WASHINGTONTIMES] Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... may have a point about paid protesters: Job ads running in more than 20 cities offer $2,500 per month for agitators to demonstrate at this week’s presidential inauguration events.
Demand Protest, a the Socialist paradise of San Francisco ...where God struck dead Anton LaVey, home of the Sydney Ducks, ruled by Vigilance Committee from 1859 through 1867, reliably and volubly Democrat since 1964... company that bills itself as the "largest private grassroots support organization in the United States," posted identical ads Jan. 12 in multiple cities on Backpage.com seeking "operatives."
"Get paid fighting against Trump!" says the ad.
"We pay people already politically motivated to fight for the things they believe. You were going to take action anyways, why not do so with us!" the ad continues. "We are currently seeking operatives to help send a strong message at upcoming inauguration protests."
The job offers a monthly retainer of $2,500 plus "our standard per-event pay of $50/hr, as long as you participate in at least 6 events a year," as well as health, vision and dental insurance for full-time operatives.
Mr. Trump has complained about paid activists both before and after the 2016 presidential campaign, but if anti-Trump advocacy groups are juicing their crowds with hired help, nobody’s admitting it.

Undercover police or FBI should immediately solicit recruitment. Funding sources should be easy enough to identify from the inside.
"The man, who could not produce identification to the Fox News Los Angeles bureau, said his name was "Dom Tullipso"
[note that the "l's" are silent!] and said he runs "Demand Protest", which allegedly pays individuals to protest at events."
[MSN] Add Secretary of State John F. I was in Vietnam, you know Kerry Former Senator-for-Life from Massachussetts, self-defined war hero, speaker of French, owner of a lucky hat, conqueror of Cambodia, unsuccessful presidential candidate, and utterly failed Secretary of State... to list of those skipping the inauguration Friday.
A State Department official confirmed to Fox News that the outgoing chief diplomat "will not attend the inauguration."
The official did not give a reason.
At least 60 Democratic House politicians have already decided not to attend President-elect Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... ’s inauguration on Friday. While Kerry’s reasons are unclear, the House Democrats skipping the ceremonies are doing so as a boycott of Trump.

Well, I looked in the dictionary for "'Sore Loser" and found a group photo of the DC establishment. Kerry was in the middle, why the long face Jawn?

John F Kerry is not attending because he wasn't invited. Same thing with most of the democrats who are "boycotting" the inauguration, they weren't invited either. So they tried to put, to them, a positive spin on this non-invite.

Well it's partly an assumption, but mostly based on informed facts.
An example: href="http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/7661583/trump-we-have-the-biggest-celebrities-in-the-world-coming-to-inauguration"
Truth br told, members of congress are given tickets to attend, thus the comment by Trump that he hope those who are not coming will give him their tickets so he can invite others, so it's a tongue in cheek comment but they were just given tickets, not actually invited.
As for John Kerry, he's part of the previous administration, generally members from the previous administration do not attend the inauguration except those who may be part of the new administration (None AFAIK) or those who bought tickets themselves. The only person from the previous administration that will be there is Barrack Obama himself, It's doubtful his family will be there.
Hope this help. it's not all WAGs.
[BTW, I'm having trouble getting the inline http links to work properly.]

Seeking cure for ignorance, it would be interesting if Trump sent an invite out to a few to see if they'd reverse their boycott to see what whores they really are.
[The icon Fred provides below the text box -- the little world sitting on two links or ski goggles -- occasionally doesn't work. When it doesn't, I take out the quotes around the URL, which has this far fixed the problem for reasons I won't try to guess; the inevitable heat death of the universe probably comes into play somehow. Are you first highlighting a bit of text to attach it to? Are you writing the HTML code yourself?]

TW, I just tried your solution, I have been using the globe and chain icon which never worked for me. I tried removing the quotes and it still doesn't work. In the near future, I'll just past the link directly for now.
[Wash Times] When Sen. Kamala Harris grilled President Elect Donald Trump’s pick for CIA Director Mike Pompeo last week, she demanded to know his personal views on the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender movement.
Never mind, the growing jihadist threat, how the agency missed Russia’s invasion of Crimea, the potential of a nuclear-enabled North Korea, and the growing expansion of China in the South China Sea. Altogether, it was a bizarre exchange.
But apparently, she was onto something. In a wide-ranging interview with the Wall Street Journal, departing CIA Director John Brennan said he wants his legacy to be the work he did to advance the LGBTQ community.
"During his tenure he has put particular emphasis on promoting the interests of gay, lesbian, and transgender officers," the Journal reported. "He was the first CIA director to attend an annual social gathering of LGBTQ employees and has been known to wear a rainbow lanyard around the office as a symbol of solidarity.
For Mr. Brennan, who said his perspective was informed by growing up ’a white male from New Jersey,’ diversity of backgrounds leads to better analysis, which in his estimation can prevent intelligence disasters," the Journal said.

Intelligence collection, nor any of the vital concerns listed in the above para were never his primary mission as directed by Obama. He has boldly and spitefully articulated his goals and mission.
Hat tip to kriddell@washingtontimes.com (author) for outing this odious Tsetse fly. His lifestage is not nearly complete. He will require many more bloodfills. Keep an eye on the bastid !

Obama's NASA task was the environment and global warming. And where was Ambassador Stevens in all of this? Naaaah, they wouldn't do that.
In the 1990s, Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi began to enact "purification" laws designed to enforce a harsh view of Islamic law on the population. Libyan courts were given the power to use amputation, flogging and other cruel punishments against persons found to be violating traditional Islamic morality. Link

Maybe I'm just old school, but I would have gone with something like kept America safe, prosecuted her enemies to the ends of the earth, or even just didn't bomb any Chinese embassies. But then I'm not wangling for a phony-baloney job post 20-Jan.

CIA missed the fall of the Soviet Union along with many other noteworthy items during my lifetime. I really hope their successes are being kept secret because the visible track record stinks.

I once registered and voted as a Democrat. The 2 events that completely changed my thinking were:
1. The entire Democratic party pretending that "Every man of power cheats on his wife--its completely normal."
&
2. 9/11, when the Democratically-driven press fell all over themselves urging people like me not to "jump to conclusions" about the animals that committed the act (and those that sponsored it).
I've never voted for another Democrat once the 2nd of those events took place.

Lyndon Johnson, jimmuh carter and Bill Clinton taught me all I need to know about Democrats. By the time Baraq Obama got elected there was nothing he could do that would surprise me.

I once registered and voted as a Democrat too, Crusader. In North Carolina, where I lived at the time, you had to be registered as a party member to be able to vote in the primary.
I registered Democrat, voted in the presidential primary AGAINST George Wallace, and then re-registered as an independent.
Considering my motivation, I didn't even feel dirty.

[BBC] The US government has given half a billion dollars to the UN's Green Climate Fund, just three days before Donald Trump takes office.
Barack Obama's outgoing administration announced the contribution of $500m (£406m; €468m) on Tuesday, bringing the total funds to date to $1bn.
Mr Obama pledged in 2014 to give $3bn to help tackle the effects of climate change in the poorest countries.
Mr Trump has previously called global warming a hoax.
The president-elect has also threatened to pull the US out of the Paris accord - a global agreement on curbing greenhouse gas emissions - and America's commitment to the fund.
Mr Trump could decide to withhold the rest of the fund.
However, John Kirby, the State Department spokesman who announced the grant, said there was no "nefarious desire or intent" behind the timing.
[WASHINGTONEXAMINER] Making good on a promise to slash government, President-elect Trump has asked his incoming team to pursue spending and staffing cuts.
Insiders said that the spending reductions in some departments could go as high as 10 percent and staff cuts to 20 percent, numbers that would rock Washington if he follows through.
Northern Virginia would become a ghost town. And you might even be able to find a seat on a Metra train...
At least two so-called "landing teams" in Cabinet agencies have relayed the call for cuts as part of their marching orders to shrink the flab in government.
The cuts would target discretionary spending, not mandated programs such as Medicare or Social Security, the sources said.
The spending reductions are expected to be used to help pay for Trump's plan to boost the Pentagon's budget, tax cuts and some pet projects, potentially including the anti-immigration wall on the nation's southern border.
The teams also are looking at staffing cuts over four years through attrition, a hiring freeze and reorganization.
The plan is winning cheers in conservative, anti-tax and anti-spending corners in Washington that have long sought massive cuts in the bureaucracy.
Presidents rarely cut spending, choosing freezes instead. In the meantime, federal spending has reached historic levels. Trump has picked a budget hawk, Rep. Mick Mulvaney, to head the Office of Management and Budget, a clear sign that spending cuts are a top priority.

I'd like the Center for Disease Control (CDC) specifically targetted. I'd like every single participant in "mission creep", like pretending that "disease control" includes bullshit political items like guns and the consumption of salt in the diet, to be put on notice that they're now required to demonstrate what REAL "disease control" contributions they've made to the agency. If they have none, boot them. And start high on the organization chart, and only move downward to the point where anyone is making executive decisions.

Initiate an immediate Federal hiring freeze. Boomer and near-boomers are now retiring in record numbers. A 20% slash of federal workers employees should be accomplished quite easily. Some additional tips follow:
Pass a law to make 'burrowing' illegal, and make it 6 months retroactive.
Eliminate an entire federal agency by merging it's responsibilities with another.
Declare the federal gov't a 'Right to Work' organization. Declare the AFGE (federal employees union) unconstitutional and disband it immediately.
20% cuts in the public "work" force will get us back to about early to mid Bill Clinton era levels, relative to the populations size at large. It
is a nice start but we need much more.
The goal should be to get the percentage of employed that are public sector down to pre-Great Society levels, around 5-6%. In order for that to happen we need to cut 60-70% of public employees.

Well, this started on Rantburg, let's go about the red marker more!

You can't do it all the first day or even the first year, the unemployment costs would drive the budget right over the edge!
But you can not replace those who retire or choose to depart to 'protest' the new sheriff in town. Tell people their budgets will be slashed by xx% in the next three years and let nature take its' course.
You'll need a plan to transition from massive waste to minimal waste. Hire some out-of-work progressives (cheap!) then fire them when they don't perform!

A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
