[FREEBEACON] A high-powered Democratic lobbying firm has admitted to the Department of Justice that it failed to file legally required disclosures of White House advocacy on behalf of a foreign government, new federal filings show.
The Podesta Group this month amended two biannual lobbying disclosure forms from 2014 and 2015
Amended, are they? Boy howdy, how did it ever come to pass that the filing deadline for the amendments was just after the election?
to note meetings and email communications between Tony Podesta, the firm’s principal, and John Podesta, Tony’s brother and a former Obama White House official who chaired Hillary Clinton ... former first lady, former secretary of state, former presidential candidate, sometimes described by her supporters as the smartest woman in the world, usually described by the rest of us as a crook... ’s presidential campaign.
The amended disclosures came after the Washington Free Beacon reported on the Podesta Group’s apparent violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act, which requires foreign government lobbyists to disclose contacts they made with government officials and news media on behalf of their clients.
The foreign government advocacy in question was undertaken on behalf of the government of India, a Podesta Group client since 2010.
Could have been worse -- could have been Pakistain...
On August 4, 2014, the Podesta brothers met with the Indian ambassador to the United States in the White House, visitor logs show. At the time, John was a senior counselor to the president. His "portfolio" of work there included issues pertaining to India.
A few months later, on Jan. 1, 2015, Tony emailed John inviting him to an event featuring the Indian ambassador, according to emails posted by WikiLeaks after hackers believed to be acting on behalf of the Russian government breached John’s account.
The meeting and the emails should have been disclosed in the Podesta Group’s original "supplemental" disclosure statements, Craig Engle, a partner at the Washington, D.C.-based law firm Arent Fox, told the Free Beacon at the time. But the firm’s supplemental statements did not mention either.

In a near perfect world, one might suspect a preemptive move resulting from FBI sniffing. I know, I hope for far too much....the good, the righteous.
[WashingtonPost] Ahead of the U.S. presidential election on Nov. 8, Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven drafted two letters. One was addressed to Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee who enjoyed broad approval among Swedes. The other was to Republican Donald Trump, the upstart candidate who was viewed negatively by many in Sweden.
The letters were intended to congratulate the winner of the election.
Only one was ever sent.
Lofven's office released parts of the letter sent to Trump last week, though considerable sections of it were censored under Sweden's official secrets act. On Monday, the Expressen newspaper released what it said was a copy of the letter in its entirety.
Expressen simultaneously also published what it said was the letter Lofven had intended to send to Clinton if she won the election. As reporter Niklas Svensson noted, there was a "clear difference" in tone between the two letters. Go figure.
Notably, in the letter to Clinton, Lofven writes in the first paragraph that "it is a pleasure" to congratulate the new president; he does not say the same to Trump. Lofven then calls Clinton's election a "milestone for the world." Noting that he leads what has been referred to as the world's first "feminist government," he says he is looking forward to working with the Clinton administration to "increase gender equality worldwide."
Here's that section in full:
"As the leader of Sweden's -- and the world's -- first feminist government, I attach great importance to the fact that you will be the first woman to take office as President of the United States. It is a milestone for the world. I am looking forward to cooperating with you and your administration on how to increase gender equality worldwide."
The tone of the letter to Trump is markedly less warm, offering only congratulations and noting that Swedes "value the broad collaboration" between their country and the United States.

[MyNews4] An independent presidential candidate has filed a recount request for Nevada's election.
Roque "Rocky" De La Fuente said in a statement Tuesday that he would push for recounts in Nevada and Florida, saying both states "'earned' the right to be audited."
"...My only interest is to create a nationwide awareness of the vulnerability of our election system and to do everything possible to assure that your vote counts for the candidate for whom it is cast," he said.
Democrat Hillary Clinton won Nevada with 47.92 percent of the vote, or 539,260 votes total. De La Fuente came in last, finishing with 2,552 total votes, or 0.23 percent of the total.
Under Nevada law, any candidate can request a recount of the votes, but officials would only determine the number of votes received for the requesting candidate and the person who won the election. The requester would also have to cover the estimated cost of a recount in advance.
In De La Fuente's petition to the secretary of state's office, obtained by reporter Jon Ralston, he asks for recounts in 93 precincts, or about 5 percent of the statewide precincts. All but eight are in Clark County.
The recount would have to find a discrepancy of at least 1 percent for either Clinton or De La Fuente from the votes tallied in the original canvass to move forward. The secretary of state would then determine if a full statewide recount should be ordered, according to state law.
A recount is required to begin five days after a request is made, and it must be finished five days after it begins.
Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein has launched several high-profile petitions for recounts in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan. Stein did not make Nevada's presidential ballot.
A call to the secretary of state's office has not been immediately returned.

You keep reading about recounts. What about a vote audit? Shouldn't we have the ability to verify absentee ballots, provisional ballots and the like to verify that they were lawfully submitted? Seems to me that would be a better use of resources.
Despite their best efforts, Mr. Trump won anyway. What matters is cleaning uo the voter rolls to ensure the integrity of future votes, which the Republican-controlled states have been prevented from doing by for the past eight years by the Obama Justice department. Remove that overt impediment and only a few states will refuse to act. Those few can be addressed later, after the borders and sanctuary cities are controlled, it seems to me.
[Daily Caller] The chair of the New Hampshire Democratic Party who was once filmed making sexually explicit comments has announced his bid to be the next Democratic National Committee chair.
Raymond Buckley, who would be the country’s first openly gay chair of a major national party, says he will bring much-needed "urgent reform" to the DNC if elected. But Buckley doesn’t come without baggage of his own.
In 2007, as Buckley was running for chair of the state Democratic Party, video surfaced on YouTube showing him making sexually explicit comments and unzipping his pants on camera. "Would you like me to fuc* you hard?" he says into the camera.
Then-Democratic Rep. Paul Hodes called the video "highly disturbing" and said "proper authorities should look into the matter to determine the best course of action."
Around the same time, Buckley’s former housemate, state Rep. Steve Vaillancourt accused Buckley of possessing child pornography, prompting a months-long investigation into the matter.
[INSIDER.FOXNEWS] On "Happening Now" today, Newt Gingrich ...former Speaker of the House, author of the Contract with America. Gingrich gave the country welfare reform and a balanced budget and the Publicans a landslide House victory in 1994. On the downside, he has a roving eye and a loose fly, he's opinionated, and he's abrasive despite his ability to work with the other side of the political aisle... blasted Jill Stein's efforts to get a recount in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan.
He pointed out that there's not a single state in the country where a recount would change the election outcome and hand the White House to Hillary Clinton ... former first lady, former secretary of state, former presidential candidate, sometimes described by her supporters as the smartest woman in the world, usually described by the rest of us as a crook... "Jill Stein represents sort of the nut wing of American politics," he said. "When the left loses as badly as they have at every level - from local state legislature to governor to Congress to the presidency - you begin to get this sort of nut fringe showing up."

But is it a nut fringe when the main stream politicians like Hillary and the media are all helping out and cheering them on to try and cripple the President-elect in any way possible?
Personally I think it is more a fifth column effort myself.

Jill Stein was a Strawman put up by the Democrats to control the far left vote. I have no doubt if Stein won any electoral votes they'd have gone Hillary when the time came.
[FREEBEACON] Rep. Keith Ellison (D., Minn.) during a 2008 trip to Soddy Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... met with a radical Moslemholy man who endorsed killing U.S. soldiers and the president of a bank used to pay the families of Paleostinian jacket wallahs.
Ellison, now a leading candidate to head the Democratic National Committee, was brought to Saudi Arabia for a two-week trip by the Moslem American Society (MAS), a group founded by members of the Moslem Brüderbund to act as its "overt arm" in the United States.
Details of Ellison’s religious pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia are scarce, but photographs discovered by the Washington Free Beacon show that Ellison met with controversial figures during the trip.
A photo album of Ellison’s hajj trip posted by MAS’s Minnesota chapter includes a picture of the congressman meeting with Sheikh Abdallah Bin Bayyah, who was vice president of a Moslem Brüderbund-created group that in 2004 issued a fatwa urging "jihad" against U.S. troops in Iraq and supported the Paleostinians’ Second Intifada against Israel.

He's a traitor (if he ever was on our side to begin with).
IT'S SO UNFAIR!!!!
[WashingtonPost] Here's a fun little thought experiment demonstrating the fundamental arbitrariness of the electoral college: Had two state borders been drawn just a little bit differently, shifting a total of four counties from one state to another, Hillary Clinton would have won the election. And if you shifted LA to Illinois, Trump would've won California. So what? Take a look at the imaginary map above, which comes from an nifty online tool called Redraw the States. It was created by a mathematician and data scientist.
This map moves Lake County, Ill. to Wisconsin, turning that state blue. It moves Escambia, Santa Rosa and Okaloosa counties from the Florida panhandle to neighboring Alabama. That's enough to turn Florida blue. With victories in Wisconsin and Florida, Clinton squeaks to victory in the electoral college, 270 to 268.
Exact same votes, slightly different borders, radically different outcome: the capriciousness of the electoral college laid bare. It also shows the fundamental wisdom of the system - populous areas can't overwhelm flyover country, taxing 51% of the people to fund the lifestyles of the other 49%.
Recall that the electoral college system is mostly winner-take-all (Maine and Nebraska are the exceptions, assigning most of their electors by congressional district). In Illinois, for instance, it does not matter whether Clinton won by 859,000 votes (her actual margin) or just 5,000 votes - in either scenario, all of the state's electoral votes go to her. Here's another thought experiment, and you don't need a map. What if a million dead and illegals in Chicago didn't vote of Clinton? Then the state of Illinois goes to Trump.
That 859,000-vote margin means Clinton could lose hundreds of thousands of votes and still win Illinois handily. In Lake County, just north of Chicago, Clinton beat Trump by about 70,000 votes. That's greater than Trump's winning margin (about 20,000 votes) in the entire state of Wisconsin.
So, if you let Wisconsin annex Lake County, that state's margin shifts from 20,000 votes in favor of Trump, to 50,000 votes in favor of Clinton. And Clinton still wins Illinois, just by a slightly smaller margin. The net electoral result is that she wins both states. Another thought experiment - if frogs had wings, would they be pigeons?

Trump won the popular vote in 3,084 out of 3,141 counties. In those 3,084 counties, Trump had nearly 8 million more popular votes than Crooked Hillary. But you would rather have five megacities choose our President than allow all of us to have a say in the election.
