God damn, these people are freaking STOOPID! Missed it by that much!
Jill Stein has everything she needs to launch a presidential recount. She's got the cash, the grassroots fervor and the spotlight of an adoring media. But there's one thing she needs to overturn Trump's victory: a calendar.
Stein missed Pennsylvania's deadline to file for a voter-initiated recount. That blown deadline is a huge blow for Democrats who have pinned their hopes on recounts in the Keystone State, Michigan and Wisconsin.
"According to Wanda Murren, spokeswoman for the Pennsylvania Department of State," the Philadelphia Inquirer reported Monday, "the deadline for a voter-initiated recount was Monday, Nov. 21."

Shes supposedly now filing a lawsuit in PA claiming the election was, and I quote, "Illegal".
These people have gone insane. No matter how you feel about Trump, you have to thank him for doing away with any doubts that the progressives and leftists are completely against the values this country was founded upon.

They are the *enemy*. Some we must merely "tolerate".
But the most extreme of them must be outted. Doing so allows us to watch the reactions of others...and with those reactions the blind followers of the enemy can be spotted and documented as well. When we have the advantage, we have to press it.

They're so stupid at math, when they gave ballots to illegals, had the dead vote and had voting machines switch votes, they still lost the election. Warning, these are the same people who created Common Core, too.

The Nation is at stake...petty bullshit squabbles about "Common Core" just detract from what is at stake. Anyone reviewing a Hillary Clinton article and finding themselves to mention "Common Core" should ask themselves if they have their priorities straight.
Sorry, but we're just a little *busy* here trying to save the United States. Try us again when we've made some significant progress.

Furthermore, I'm of the opinion that George pushed the recount issue through Stein so as not to have the Dems call for the recount themselves. Stein get her money and camera time, the Dems get their recount, George gets his deeper distrust of the election system. Win-win-win.

#10 and #11 My Common Core math indicates yawl are suffering from a lack of faith. I see Loose-Loose-Loose for the Dims. This is a good for Trump. He got all mushy about prosecuting the Clinton Mafia and in return they try to spring a trap on him. It will teach Trump about getting all mushy over rattle-snakes, again. Your Welcome.

She will have no trouble finding a judge in PeeAye who will issue a ruling that the law is whatever the judge says it is, nothing less, nothing more. Wanna bet who the judge sides with? Hint - not the people of PeeAye.

Stein is not only fundraising for her party but laundering her reputation to erase any claims she lost the election for the Democrats, no she put up a fight against Trump!.

I personally believe the Dems set up Stein and the Libertarian guy to siphon votes from Trump.
Unfortunately, the big stink over how the DNC jobbed Bernie sent a lot of voters to Stein and the Libertarians and away from Clinton. So the dog bit the hand that fed it.
Trump won Pennsylvania in pretty good fashion so I doubt the recount will mount to much. It will be used to snivel and whine for the next four years about Trump not being legitimate because of the popular vote. Of course, I would think the Secretary of States in those three states could tell a person who got less than 2% of the vote to go pound sand.
[WASHINGTONEXAMINER] Hillary Clinton ... former first lady, former secretary of state, former presidential candidate, sometimes described by her supporters as the smartest woman in the world, usually described by the rest of us as a crook... 's legal counsel gives some confusing advice.
Democratic super-lawyer Marc Elias, known for his expertise in recount and election law, has demanded Republican Gov. Pat McCrory drop his calls for a North Carolina recount, on behalf of the apparently victorious Democrat Roy Cooper.
Meanwhile, ...back at the dirigible, Cynthia backed into the galley, the barbecue fork held in front of her. Jack! she called. Where the hell are you?... Elias is charging ahead on Clinton's behalf in an anticipated three-state recount that is far less likely to change the result of the presidential election.
Even after Clinton conceded and the B.O. regime gave a clean bill of health to the presidential election, Elias announced that the Clinton campaign will participate in a recount. "It's fundamental to ensure that every vote is properly counted," he insisted on Saturday.
Not so in North Carolina. "Cooper's lead in NC is now 9,133," Elias tweeted Monday. "McCrory should concede."

[HOTAIR] Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... promised to crack down on "sanctuary cities" as part of his get-tough immigration enforcement policies, in part by using federal funding to force them into compliance. Texas cities who defy federal immigration law may find themselves locked out of state funding, too, if Governor Greg Abbott gets his way. Abbott renewed a promise on Twitter last night that he’s made for at least a year to start cracking down on "sanctuary cities" in the Lone Star State, and he’ll soon get the opportunity -- if the state legislature provides it:
The tweet the article references can be seen at the link. For some reason my copy/paste skillz completely fail to include copying and pasting it.
In case one thinks Abbott a Johnny-come-lately after Trump’s surprise win three weeks ago, this has been one of Abbott’s goals for at least a year. Thirteen months ago, Abbott made the same pledge, which has waited only for the legislature to return to session:
Gov. Greg Abbott, targeting "sanctuary city" policies on immigration, warned Dallas County Sheriff Lupe Valdez on Monday to back down from a policy change on federal immigration detention requests.
"Your refusal to fully participate in a federal law enforcement program intended to keep dangerous criminals off the streets leaves the State no choice but to take whatever actions are necessary to protect our fellow Texans," Abbott wrote.
His front man, Jon Wittman, confirmed later Monday that the governor was throwing his support behind legislation to bar "sanctuary city" policies, under which police are barred from asking those they stop about their immigration status. Abbott wants the Legislature to address the matter in 2017, Wittman said.
Despite large Republican majorities in the state legislature, bills targeting "sanctuary cities" failed in 2014. After Abbott’s statement, they promised to do better in the next session. Plans for a special session to consider the issue came to naught, though:
A majority of politicians in both the Texas House and Senate back Gov. Greg Abbott’s recent moves to rein in "sanctuary cities" that don’t comply fully with federal immigration policies.
As conservative politicians continue to press for a special session on the issue, The Texas Tribune has confirmed that a majority of state representatives support Abbott’s crackdown against sanctuary cities.
A letter sent to Abbott by the Texas Conservative Coalition on Oct. 28 contained signatures from 43 representatives, and another 14 state representatives have since added their names. At least another 19 representatives also support the measures according to responses to emails or calls from the Tribune, surpassing a majority of the 150-member body.
According to the Texas Tribune, Abbott declined to call the special session. That might have turned out to be wise. The 2016 election demonstrated a mandate for tougher immigration policies, which will make it easier for Republicans in Texas to pursue this next year. It also helps to have it considered under normal order along with other state business, spreading the focus on other issues.
The sanctuary-city movement has always been aberrant -- a declaration of defiance of the rule of law by those who get elected to enforce it. It has also been cost-free, at least up to now. Abbott and Trump want to change that equation, and it will be intriguing to see how far they can pull up pursestrings without the courts intervening. That’s why Abbott wants to have the legislature behind him on his fight. Will Congress give Trump the same partnership?

Title and link are right but the content above is from another post. This evenings after dinner wine must've been too good for one glass.

Dallas is already going bankrupt because back in the day when Dims had more control in Texas they promised pensions to fire and police that couldn't be paid in Big D.
