[BREITBART] Virginia’s election officials are enabling illegal registration and voting by foreign citizens, according to an extensive new study, titled "Alien Invasion in Virginia," by a former Department of Justice civil rights lawyer.
"Virginia election officials don’t seem to care that thousands of [foreign] aliens have corrupted their voter rolls," by illegally registering to vote, said J. Christian Adams, the former Department of Justice lawyer, and now the president of the Public Interest Legal Foundation. "Even worse than doing nothing about it, they are trying to cover it up," he told Breitbart News.
Even small amounts of illegal voting can make a decisive difference -- Democratic Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring defeated Republican Mark Obenshain in 2013 by a mere 165 votes out of 2.2 million votes cast.
But "in the eight [out of 130-plus] jurisdictions that provided us with lists of aliens recently removed from their voter rolls, we discovered that 31 non-citizens had cast a total of 186 votes between 2005 and 2015," said the report, given first to Breitbart News.
"This is just a fraction of the aliens caught in just eight counties in a state with over 130 counties," Adams said. "Even with such a small sample, the number of aliens who got on the voter rolls is staggering. The aliens are casting ballots in a state where elections have been decided by a few hundred votes."
The new report is a partnership of the Virginia Voters Alliance and the Public Interest Legal Foundation, and it details how at least 1,046 non-citizens were allowed to vote based on official voting records, he said.
State-wide, "the problem is most certainly exponentially worse [than seen in the eight localities] because we have no data regarding aliens on the registration rolls for the other 125 Virginia localities," the report said. "When the voting history of this small sample of alien registrants is examined, nearly 200 verified ballots were cast before they were removed from the rolls. Each one of them is likely a felony."
The authors highlighted the role played by Edgardo Cortés, the commissioner of the commonwealth’s department of elections.
Before his appointment by Democratic Gov. Terence McAuliffe, Cortés was a left-wing operative of Virginia Voting Rights Restoration Campaign, within the left-wing Advancement Project. The project was funded and supported by George Soros, through his Tides Foundation and Open Society Foundations.
The report makes the direct charge: "At the instruction of Commissioner Cortés, local election officials refused to provide us with records showing the voting history of non-citizens removed from registration lists.
Previous to McAuliffe taking office in 2014, state officials had used the federal Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements database, it is also known as the SAVE database, to detect and remove aliens from the voting rolls, the report said.
One of the top priorities of the Soros’ Advancement Project is to stop the use of SAVE to purge voter lists.
Adams, who is the author of the book Injustice: Exposing the racial agenda of the Obama Justice Department, told Breitbart News Virginia state officials have willfully ignored the evidence of large-scale voter fraud.
"The state Board of Elections, which has a 2-to-1 Democrat majority told local election officials to ignore our investigation, even though federal law gives PILF the right to inspect documents listing the aliens who were quietly removed from the rolls," he said.

[Zero Hedge] Just when you think the Hillary email scandal can't get any more bizarre and corrupt, it does. According to a just released letter from the Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Bob Goodlatte (R - Virginia), to Attorney General Lynch, the FBI apparently struck "side agreements" with both Cheryl Mills an Heather Samuelson to "destroy" their "laptops after concluding its search."
In the attached, Goodlatte questioned why the destruction of the laptops used to sort Clinton's emails was included in immunity deals that already protected Mills and Samuelson from prosecution based on the records recovered from their computers. Furthermore, we learn that according to the immunity agreements, FBI agents limited their search to documents authored before Jan. 2015. The Republican argued such parameters prevented investigators from examining potential proof of the destruction of evidence that may have occurred after that date, and that the deals offered to Mills and Samuelson already protected the aides from prosecution related to their alleged roles in the deletion of federal records.
"Like many things about this case, these new materials raise more questions than answers," Goodlatte wrote of the "side agreements," which lawmakers were allowed to read even though they have not yet been released in full to members of Congress.

What Comey has done to harm the FBI and Lynch to harm the DOJ is beyond measure to say nothing of what they have done to the rule of law in this country. It all goes back to HRC, WJC, and BHO.

It was no great chore for Comey to lead the organization to total and complete failure. They've been performing in the 'D and D-' range for several years, possibly longer truth be known.

One of the oldest and truest sayings in community organizing is: "The action is in the reaction." Yes, it was the founder of citizen organizing in the United States and perennial far-right piñata, Saul Alinsky, who said it.
Alinsky wasn’t advising a billionaire real estate developer who wants huge tax cuts for the wealthy. He was trying to equip the truly powerless -- workers in dangerous stockyards, tenants in dreadful tenements -- with a useful tool.
...In the current presidential campaign, one person intuitively understands Alinksy’s insight. Donald Trump showed again in the first debate that he’s intent on initiating action after action. His wild charges and outrageous statements have no content, no weight, no meaning. Their sole purpose is to provoke a reaction -- from Hillary Clinton, from the media, from the frustrated supporters of his opponent. Trump is not just a demagogue, a Hitler, a friend of Israel and Putin (which is worse nowadays?), he's cultural appropriator!

I don't think the author was watching the same debate I was watching.

And he clearly does not understand Hillary is the Saul student. Not trump. More slander from he left.

Alinsky is made to look like a candidate for sainthood. No so much the truth however. During the Depression he was an organizer for a labor unions such as the CIO. This was a time when mobsters were entrenched in the labor unions (not so much different today except instead of calling them mobsters they are called left politicians). He also hung around with Frank Niti, the Enforcer of Capone-era fame--supposedly Alinsky really was privy to where the bodies were buried. He like our Community Organizer in Chief was a community organizer although one would be hard-pressed to find any community that was better as the result of their efforts. Hillary was an admirer of Alinsky who dedicated his book to the devil, the first community organizer. Hillary does not like the memory of their saint be sullied by Republicans who use their tactics against them. They will yell foul.

You know Trump, you really area a F#king idiot.
I'm starting to think you are too f#cked in the head to run the Country.
Just your worms eye view, and failure to drag yourself out of the sewer.
You would be just another idiot high maintenance POTUS with more idiot ideas you pull out of your ass
AND
You are also in-capable of learning.
Another foolish remark about anything No President would even concern themselves (Aside of obama)
will put you in the wrong place here.
"It is true that not everyone can handle traumatic events, be it from war, bad car accidents, violent crime or even surviving a hurricane," a VFW national spokesman said in response to Trump's comments in a statement provided to ABC News. "Regarding veterans, we need to treat those who need help and research how two people experiencing the same time and place can be impacted so differently."
What Trump said was some vets have difficulty handling the awful things many of his listeners had experienced. And that's just a fact. Otherwise, every vet would have PTSD.
And he said they needed to be treated and supported.
Don't let the lefties weaponize PTSD and Gold Star Families. Don't get sucked in by ABC and Twitter spin.

My issue goes far beyond this. It goes to his continuous deluge of feeding the trolls and bringing up stupid and pointless banter instead of talking about Presidential things.
He keeps playing their game.
He is supposed to be making a new ball park and keep them on defensive by NOT addressing the stupid shit they bring up.
But rather the dire shit we are in and showing his comprehension of the magnitude of his duty by NOT talking about Rosie o'donell, MS whoever, or any of the other bullshit you find in the enquirer or people magazine.
He needs circumcision from the hollywood class and stop being so lazy as to the duties he purports to want to hold.

"When people come back from war and combat and they see things that maybe a lot of the folks in this room have seen many times over and you're strong and you can handle it, but a lot of people can't handle it,"
I don't see anything objectionable. In fact, IMO, if Hillary said this it would be proof - cited in all the papers - of that a good candidate she is.

absolutely. WaPo cut the quote short to take it out of context. Sorry, Newc, find another

I happened to have the TV on when Fox carried the panel discussion live. The quote was taken totally out of context. While Trump may have been inarticulate, the statement didn't even reach the Bushism level.

Don't let the lefts attAck spin you against trump. He could say the sky is blue and the media would twist it into hype. See past it. What he said was correct.

The thing is, Trump says a paragraph worth of great stuff and in that paragraph is a sentence that can be taken badly (and it will be) and the paragraph is lost and his fans end up spending more time explaining and defending.

Newc, it's obvious that you feel strongly about a number of topics. Unfortunately feeling and thinking are two different things. Maybe you could do less of the former and more of the later.

The source here is ABC News so of course what Trump said was reprehensible. But the fact is that if everybody could handle it then we wouldn't have a problem. Is that not the truth? I'm thinking that ABC News has a problem with the truth.

newc, here's a piece of advice: Turn the damn TV off.
I know it's a cliche when politicians say their words were taken out of context but with sources like ABC we see it happening all the time. ABC doesn't lie by telling outright falsehoods. Rather, they present a thin sliver of the truth and then they spin it in a way that makes it look or sound like something entirely different than what it really was. They do not tell you the whole story in which the truth is revealed. It's just the same as lying but it kinda sorta gives them an out. It's disgusting.
Does your wife want to watch the news no matter what you think? Me too. It got so bad at my house that I was yelling and screaming whenever David Muir came on the TV screen. I'd threaten to throw my glass of whiskey at the TV then I'd think better of it and take my drink outside on the patio. Now we watch CBS instead. I think they're just as bad but perhaps a bit more subtle in their lies which is perhaps even worse. I still think it's nicer on the patio.

RJ didn't help with the inflammatory headline.
Much like NBC news 'selectively editing' the audio recording of Zimmerman.
Its not a mistake, its deliberate and therefore lying.
When I say that it was an ABC news report I thought it might have been so. As I recall they did the same with their Sarah Palin 'interview'. Selectively edit it to make her look like an idiot.

I look at the news like I learned to read the Boston Globe when I was about 12 or 13 - 'how are these fucking bastards lying to me now?' and then go get the real story (usually from the Manchester Union Leader).

First article I've posted, I thought I'd get a chance to add commentary below the headline but never had the chance. My apologies. I don't even remember including the headline last night.

Yup. Switched from Fox to How Its Made (or similar programing) oh about half a year ago. Kids love it, and I am finding myself more and more once wasted time.
Odds on tonight's debate:
First question is to you, Mr. Pence:
Considering Mr. Trump's well known health issues, do you consider yourself well enough prepared to be president?
[WESTERNJOURNALISM] With the presidential Bush clan firmly committed to keeping its distance from Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, one family member has been photographed at a fund-raising event for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton ... sometimes described as America's Blond Eminence and at other times as Mrs. Bill, never as Another Condoleezza Rice ... A photo on Instagram shows Barbara P. Bush, daughter of former President George W. Bush, posing with Huma Abedin, Clinton’s closest confidante and top aide.
The photo was taken at an event in Gay Paree on Saturday sponsored by Abedin and British journalist Anna Wintour to benefit Clinton’s presidential campaign
In the photo, Bush is shown with Abedin, actress Dakota Fanning and Vanity Fair writer Derek Blasberg, who posted the photo.
The hashtag "#werewithher" at first accompanied the image, but was later deleted.

Saw this great big headline on Drudge yesterday. Tried to read the article which was disjointed to the point of being incoherent. Well, Drudge makes mistakes too. This is not news.

Even if it were true, who cares. We all know Bill messed around. The whole country was dragged through the muck daily back in the 90s.
A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
