(CNSNews.com) ‐ Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton revealed on Thursday that the FBI didn’t question aides to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton about her use of a private email server to conduct government business until Judicial Watch was about to do so, and then used redacted documents the watchdog group had obtained under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
Judicial Watch first uncovered the existence of Clinton’s private email server after receiving documents under FOIA during its investigation of the Benghazi scandal.
"It was our litigation that forced the FBI to do the half-baked investigation it did," Fitton pointed out during a panel discussion on the Clinton email scandal.
"As we find out more details about the FBI investigation, we found out that a lot of these investigations that the FBI was undertaking did not take place but for Judicial Watch’s pressure from the litigation. The witnesses weren’t questioned until it became clear Judicial Watch was either going to get discovery or was getting discovery and would be questioning some of these same witnesses," Fitton said.
"It was so bad that we just learned in the latest FBI document dump that the FBI was using documents that were produced to Judicial Watch under the Freedom of Information Act with redactions. So they couldn’t even get the full document. They were using those documents to question the witnesses.
"And of course there’s a lot of outrage about the FBI immunity agreements, the Department of Justice immunity agreements granted the Clinton aides at issue in this case," he added.

Rest assured however, the items of concern to JW were....'on the FBI's radar or watch list.'

I support JW when I can. They do good work. I'm surprised they are not listed at the SPLC as a part of Hillary Clinton's vast right wing conspiracy. They probably are a part of the basket of deplorables as are the rest of us. HRC is a walking, talking hate group all by herself--if the internal voices count.
[Free Beacon] FBI files released last week as part of the Hillary Clinton email investigation show that her private server was made in a makeshift lab on K Street, Fox News reported Friday evening.
The report also noted that it took Clinton's IT specialist, Bryan Pagliano, months to create the server.
If Hillary Clinton's "home-brew" server ever got the Mary Shelley treatment, IT specialist Bryan Pagliano would make a fine Dr. Frankenstein - FBI documents reveal new details about how he painstakingly created the machine over a series of months while working in a room along Washington's storied K Street.
According to files released last Friday evening, Pagliano worked to design and build the now-infamous server inside a room once used as part of Clinton's campaign headquarters. On the street known as Washington's power corridor, Pagliano even used computer remnants from Clinton's failed 2008 presidential bid, where he had worked as an IT specialist.
Pagliano said that after he made the server in the K Street lab, he rented a minivan and drove the server to Chappaqua, New York to install it in Clinton's home, according to Fox.

wow - this guy must be an IT genius!!! slapped a MB, processor(s) and some RAM in a metal box, some hard drives (extra props for a RAID Array) - even saved money by repurposing old parts from 2008 - and it only took him MONTHS - i bask in the reflected glory.

Maybe he had problems with the CPU liquid cooler and didn't realize it was supposed to be a closed-loop passive system.
Maybe he installed little sprinkler heads next to the ram or something.
Only takes our IT folks about a week to build and commission a monster box out of a little workroom. It might take me longer than that to do it myself, but I don't drink as much coffee as they do.
Even less when they buy it somewhere.
Can't even imagine that it would take him this long to 'design' and build unless he is an absolute idiot or couldn't find the right Flame Stickers for the case.

You ought to be fair to Pagiliano, he might have had other jobs at the same time such as procurement and scheduling. Bill might have had a few requests. After all, Slick might have wanted the energizer bunny installed at strange hours. He did save time by not designing security into the system. It might have taken months longer if he had.
[KREM] Lawmakers in Washington are pledging to get tough on voter fraud.
The state is moving forward on a plan that would require proof of citizenship anytime.
The latest change comes after an embarrassing week for voting administrators in Washington.
According to reports, the suspect in last week’s deadly mall shooting, Arcan Cetin, may have faked his voter registration. However, Switzerland makes more than cheese... Cetin still participated in several different elections.
It is for that reason that state voting workers are getting tougher on rules.
At the news conference on Friday, Washington’s Secretary of State, Kim Wyman insisted change is the only way to prevent voter fraud.
To reduce cases of voter fraud, Secretary Wyman is proposing a safeguard that is common in other states.
Under the proposal, people would have to present proof of citizenship whenever they get a drivers license.
Voting workers would also have access to that information, and could determine if a person is eligible to register to vote.
"These are ideas that have been discussed in Olympia for a decade, the time for action is now," said Wyman.
The Federal Department of Homeland Security has required these changes since 2005, but Washington never followed those orders.
In fact, Washington is one of only three states that do not check for proof of citizenship.
Auditors across the states said they have been flooded with angry calls in the last few days.
"They're upset about this. They think that every person has the authority to vote and we cannot prove it," said Yakima County auditor, Charles Ross.
Oddly enough, on the morning of September 30th, local television station KING5 ran this update about their previously living killer:
UPDATE: KING 5 learned Thursday that Arcan Cetin, the 20-year-old who killed five people at Cascade Mall on Sept. 23, is in fact a U.S. citizen.
For days after the shooting, Cetin was described by local and federal law enforcement as being a permanent U.S. resident. He immigrated to the U.S. from Turkey when he was a child, after his mother married an American citizen.
On Thursday, a federal official told KING that further investigation revealed that Cetin is a naturalized U.S. citizen. That means he was legally registered to vote.
But the single source, anonymous official did not say when Mr. Cetin obtained his citizenship, the fact of which his parents, acquaintances, and he himself on social media did not mention, so possibly he did vote before the paperwork was completed.

Yeah, sure. I'll believe it when it when the law changes.
Until them, I'll assert "None of you in Washington state have the guts to do what is right."

[FOX43] An audit of the Department of Human Services found thousands of dollars in state public assistance benefit funds were paid out to recipients who were already deceased, Auditor General Eugene DePasquale said Thursday.
According to the audit, 2,324 recipients who were already dead received $693,161 in public assistance funds on their EBT accounts between July 2013 and June 2014.
"Not only does DHS continue to put dollars on the cards assigned to individuals who have died, it often fails to detect use of those dollars," DePasquale said at a news conference Thursday.
Digging deeper into some of these recipients, investigators found that benefits paid to deceased recipients were still being used to make purchases.
"In one of the cases we found a cardholder who died on May 1, 2013, continued to receive $200 per month placed on their EBT card through September," he said in a news release. "Then, over a 22-day period in December 2013 and January 2014, nearly $800 in purchases were made with that card."
The Department of Human Services disputed the numbers given by DePasquale, saying its calculations found $331,432 in incorrect payments over the same time period. The department claims it recovered $681,660 from the accounts of the deceased in this audit.

Government is "the things we do together."
Stupidly.
Without adequate internal controls.
Without adequate punishment for those of us who do it poorly.

Reminds me of the line that Japan had the largest population of of people near or over 100. Till they did a checkup and found that the 'pensioners' had died and the families conveniently forgot to report the deaths to the government which would have stop the monthly checks. Watch those direct deposit schemes that 'save' the government money on printing those old dirty checks.
BTW, if you retire and draw social security and you move to a foreign country, who reports the death? Who verifies they're still alive?

I dunno how this works, but my dad, who was on social security, died in Europe after living there about 6 years, and within a week or so of his demise the State Department sent me a letter & their own form of death certificate to verify what happened.
[BusinessInsider] The Mexican magazine Letras Libres made a blatant comparison between Donald Trump and Adolf Hitler on the cover of its October issue, superimposing blocky text reading "Fascista Americano" above Trump's lip on a close-up photo.
Enrique Krauze, the magazine's editor, is a frequent critic of Trump and argued in a recent Slate article that Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto made a "historic error" in inviting the Republican nominee to the country in August.
"From Trump, Mexico received only words, words worth no more than the paper they were scribbled on," Krauze wrote. "In exchange, Mexico, filling the sad role of the useful idiot, gave a bigot the pat on the back that he required."
Trump has referred to immigrants from Mexico as drug dealers, rapists, and criminals and declared that Mexico will pay for the construction of a wall along the US border.

If Trump is elected, he has threatened to cut off the poison coming into the U.S. and the money going out of the U.S. to Mexico. I guess they don't like this.

Human behavior. Just like a community in our own border who blame all their problems on society rather than look in the mirror of their own behaviors that create their problems. And my, the hypocrisy - just google Article 33 of the Mexican Constitution.
Hitler, the leader of the National SOCIALIST WORKERS party, is just another word like 'Nazi' itself as another epithet in their vocabulary for displaying hate, like the other old 'N' word.
[MONEY.CNN] A member of the Wall Street Journal's editorial board has urged Americans to vote for Hillary Clinton to avoid a potentially disastrous Donald Trump presidency. "Her election alone is what stands between the American nation and the reign of the most unstable, proudly uninformed, psychologically unfit president ever to enter the White House," Dorothy Rabinowitz, a Pulitzer Prize winning columnist for the newspaper, wrote in an opinion piece.

So "Dorothy" thinks Hilldebeast is "stable"?
Is anyone professionally attending to "Dorothy"? Shouldn't her employer provide some assistance in that regard?

Just judging from all the push back and pile on of Trump coming from all directions, he's got to be doing things right. Must be that he has turned over the rocks and the slimy's have crawled out.

I have personally, on one occasion witnessed a close relative suffer from psychotic side effects of levodopa.
If the suspicions are true and Hillary is suffering from Parkinson's disease there's no way one could trust in her permanent mental stability over 4 years.

Both Hillary and Obama have also claimed Trump is unqualified for POTUS. If that were not so pathetic, it would be laughable. Both are inveterate liars. There is nothing they have done that has turned out well for the U.S. Both are criminals.
And with Johnson acting like a 16 year old stoner, having Aleppo-sodes, they need an alternative to the alternative.
And to you Libertarians, which there might be legitimate ones or leanings here at Rantburg, I mean no disrespect to you, but the everyday Libertarians I have come across is summed in Johnson, and it is embarrassing.
As I quipped to a legit Johnson supporter, "Not knowing what Aleppo is in today's conflicts is like not knowing what Berlin is during WWII."

Jeb! apparently still hasn't figured out that the only ones paying him any attention whatsoever are his fellow "elites" and MFM provocateurs. I still get a chuckle recalling that he spent over $100 million to get 3(?) delegates. In the immortal words of that great philosopher, Bugs Bunny, "wotta maroon!"

Thank dawg Trump kicked his ass, Jeb! Is a RINO but low energy. We can look back on this in 3 years and think, well she's no worse than JEB! Except for the rotating blackouts and ration books. But that was going to happen anyway. All RINOS to the wall!
