[Daily Caller] Republicans in the House issued subpoenas to the technology companies that managed Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s private emails while she served as secretary of state.
The Science, Space and Technology Committee is ordering the CEO of Datto, Inc. Austin McChord to appear before Congress and testify about the business’ handling of Clinton’s emails and other relevant details pertaining to her server.
Committee chairman and Texas Rep. Lamar Smith said in a press release that a testimony was imperative because "companies providing services to Secretary Hillary Clinton’s private email account and server are not above the law."
In a letter to McChord, co-authors Smith and Sen. Ron Johnson, contended "that a product offered by Datto, Inc.‐the Datto SIRIS S2000‐was purchased in 2013 for Secretary Clinton to provide on-site, immediate recovery of backup data in the event that the primary server failed."
Certain employees who were specifically hired to oversee emails could have had access to highly confidential and sensitive material, despite access being implicitly illegal. The committee also wants to decipher if Clinton’s email practices were in compliance with the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s cybersecurity standards.
Smith says that because companies like Datto "have failed to comply with our committee’s request for documents and interviews," a legally-binding directive was in order.
Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson, the committee’s ranking Democrat, expressed her severe disapproval over the issuance of the subpoena.
"I am outraged that the chairman is recklessly abusing the committee’s investigatory powers to brazenly do the bidding of the Trump campaign," Eddie Johnson said, according to the Washington Examiner. "I am certain that the Science Committee will not uncover any ’smoking gun’ after this issue has already been thoroughly investigated by the Benghazi Committee at a cost of $7 million in taxpayers dollars as well as by the FBI."
Two other companies, Platte River Networks and SECNAP Network Security Corp., were also issued subpoenas after failing to voluntarily answer questions relating to Clinton’s use of her private email server, according to The New York Times.

In the summer of 2012, Rep. Michele Bachmann and four other congressmen raised extremely legitimate questions about Muslim Brotherhood infiltration. The individual Bachmann identified who garnered the most attention was Deputy Chief of Staff to Hillary Clinton, Huma Abedin. Rogers disavowed Bachmann and referred to Abedin as “an American patriot”. Emphasis added.
Nothing will be done. The power elite all sit around the same table.
As one studies these seemingly mindless strategies, amazing geopolitical and legal contradictions, the linkage between what the Administration views as the 'Moderate Muslim' aka the Muslim Brotherhood becomes increasingly clear. The recruitment of so called 'moderates' or key-figures and assets, is a geopolitical control effort dating back to WWII and the Ostministerium. It continues today.
Unfortunately, or fortunately in our case, this recent Clinton episode has exposed the Muslim recruitment effort for what it is.
[THESMOKINGGUN] Meet Wise Intelligent Supreme God Allah.
Belying his name, the 18-year-old Ohioan made the imprudent choice Thursday night to be carrying a loaded handgun while a passenger in a car traveling in Akron.
During a police traffic stop, Allah was found with a Hi-Point .380 caliber handgun in the waistband of his pants. The Canton resident was jugged Youse'll never take me alive coppers!... [BANG!]... Ow!... I quit! on felony weapons charges, according to Akron Municipal Court records.
None of the four other occupants of the 2014 Kia were arrested during the stop, which occurred in front of a Taco Bell. An Akron Police Department report states that Allah and two women in the vehicle "has history of drugs and weapons."
The accused pistolero--whose rap sheet includes a felony burglary conviction--was booked into the Summit County jail, where he remains locked up on $20,000 bond.
According to court records, Allah’s residence is adjacent to a multi-county juvenile detention facility.

Not what I imagined at all for Allah, what, an 18 year old with a .380 tucked in his waistband? I was thinking the image of Allah was a squiggly line or abstract symbol such as Prince used at one time--or someone looking like R. Crumb's Mr. Natural.
A beauzeau who broke into a house, drank a bottle of rum then fell asleep on his victim's sofa has been checked in at the Gray-Bar Hotel.
Dawid Grzelewski, 32, broke into Paul Hatton's home in Bournemouth, Dorset, while he [Hatton] was at work.
Mr Hatton received an alert to tell him that his burglar alarm had been activated so he went home, took pictures of the sleeping burglar, ejected him from his flat then called police. "You need a place to stay? The bobbies'll give you one."
He was soon spotted in bushes by police nearby with a bag of amphetamine in his mouth and given matching bracelets.
Prosecutor Simon Edwards told Bournemouth Crown Court: ‘Mr Hatton received an alarm telling him the burglar alarm in the flat had been activated.
‘At 8.30am Mr Hatton went to the flat and found the defendant asleep on the sofa in the lounge. "Who are you!?"
"Zzzzzzzzzz!"
‘He took two photographs of him on his mobile phone. Next to [the defendant] was a hammer and a large screwdriver.
‘He had drunk a quantity of rum belonging to Mr Hatton.' "Where's the rum gone?"
Mr Edwards added: ‘Police attended and a blood-stained tissue was found on a worktop.
‘The defendant had injured himself. [The blood] matched the profile of this defendant.' "Here, end table! Hold my rum and watch this!"
Grzelewski, of no fixed abode, admitted charges of burglary, possession of a class B drug and breaching a suspended sentence. "It's a fair cop. You got me."
He asked for one further domestic burglary and three commercial burglaries to be taken into consideration by the judge.
He was placed in durance vile for 60 weeks and will be extradited to Poland when he is released.
[Breitbart IS] 83-year-old Francine Stein was buried on Wednesday in the presence of strangers after it became apparent that she had no living relatives or friends that would attend.
A graveside funeral at Temple Israel Cemetery in Blauvelt in New York’s Rockland County was conducted by Rabbi Elchanan Weinbach.
Rabbi Weinbach’s daughter Ora, a high school teacher in New Jersey, asked people to come in a Facebook post.
"Huge mitzvah opportunity. A woman is being buried tomorrow who has LITERALLY NO ONE attending her funeral, other than the funeral home director and the rabbi (my father). Who would like to join me at the funeral? I will be leaving Teaneck at 10:45. Free lunch with the rabbi after," the post read.
Ora Weinbach said the post was instantly shared by her friends whose friends in turn shared it, bringing in the attendees less than 24 hours after she originally posted.
[SkyNews] A soldier has died while taking part in a night-time live firing exercise at a training facility in Northumberland.
The serviceman had suffered a serious head wound after being shot during the exercise at the Otterburn training area.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 11.15pm on Monday night, but the soldier was pronounced dead at the scene.
Armed Forces minister Mike Penning said the soldier was from The Royal Regiment of Scotland, and expressed his condolences to the man's family, friends and colleagues.
He added: "The safety of our personnel is our absolute priority and while deaths in training don't happen often, any death is a tragedy."
President Juan Orlando Hernandez of Honduras said his country has signed an agreement with Israel for "cutting-edge technology" to help his army fight organized crime.
Hernandez said the agreement, which will be submitted to the legislature for its approval, will be used to battle "the highest levels of crime in the last 15 years."
Calling the pact "pivotal to the growth of the Honduran nation," the president said it "will allow the strengthening of our armed forces with capabilities we have probably never had." I wonder if USA, provided Trump is not murdered, will be interested in Israeli tech to investigate Clinton Foundation?
[BBC] For the first time since the Cold War the German government is advising citizens to stockpile food and water for use in a national emergency.
Some opposition MPs said the new civil defence concept, to go before ministers on Wednesday, was scaremongering. Citizens are advised to store enough food to last them 10 days, because initially a disaster might put national emergency services beyond reach.
Five days' water - two litres (half a gallon) per person daily - is advised.
The German news website Frankfurter Allgemeine (FAZ) said the new concept was set out in a 69-page German Interior Ministry document.
The document said "an attack on German territory, requiring conventional defence of the nation, is unlikely". But, it said, a major security threat to the nation in future could not be ruled out, so civil defence measures were necessary.
Soon, Germans began tweeting ironically under the hashtag "Hamsterkaeufe" (panic-buying).

Five days' water is fine, a month of beer supply essential.
That fortunate discovery of the preservative effect of hops, meaning a batch of beer lasts longer than a few days... making it a perfect safe water storage and delivery system. ;-)
At least have a way to filter water. If its down to drinking out of the back of the toilet or the water heater, you will want it. Low on water and unsafe to go outside is no time to get something like dysentery. There are good ones, and take up hardly any space - just remember to check the filtration rate vs. number of people + potential physical activity. Four people waiting six hours for a quart of water is probably not going to cut it. One person, maybe, if not too active, but if it is SHTF like civil uprising, chances are you will not be in the comfy chair doing crosswords.
But like EC said, a prepared person should have this stuff anyways. Dehydrated food has come so far even within the last 10 years. MREs are edible and do not require the cooking water dehydrated food does.
If you are going to play SHTF: Civil Unrest Edition, don't forget a way out of Dodge. Start with how to drive to your Weekend Out Fishing, then start throwing in variables, like Bridges Are Out! and 2+ Lane Roads Closed! No Go Section! It doesn't matter much why, and sitting in your car programming your route when minutes count is going to cost you. Especially if GPS & Cell Phone Jammed!

Enough supply of clean water (and beer) is of course the most important thing.
As for food, this is quite easy.
First week: Just rotate fresh supplies
Second week: Still mostly fresh, but more durable supplies.
Next two weeks: Durable stuff that you still like to eat. Because you want to rotate that, too.
A military attack on Germany is not really the issue. A natural disaster, disruption of the supply chain (think of a meltdown of the financial system) or a virus outbreak are the things to plan for.
Here in the city, our family would probably be self sufficient for three or four weeks, but we'd probably leave in time to stay on the family farm.

Sounds like you got a plan.
I went over our two most likely SHTF events with my wife.
First, influx of refugees due to a neighboring town evacuating from a wildfire. It was interesting because as a community not next to a water source, we are on wells, and only so much water can be pumped per day. That is where we decided upon a supply of food, water, and water filtration.
Second was our own evacuation. That was a bit different. She asks, which way do we go? I said, dunno, I might be at the fire or assisting evacuations. She had to work through that one while I sort of Game Mastered and gave suggestions. Mainly, I'm not here, the town is on fire, people are freaking out because kids are at school. That is when we put together the boogie bag.
Everything else built on those two basic stay and leave scenarios, considering geography, season, weather, distance of evacuation or strain on local resources for how long, etc.
It was actually a bit fun after the initial gravity was worked out. Like, so honey, you have the kids and went x direction, you are off a decent road and far from help, what if you get a flat tire......hey, let's go check the spare tire real quick.
Or, hey so-and-so told me which MREs are the most tradable, let us get some of those.
Hey honey, why vodka? Because in a pinch it is the most likely liquor the kids would drink, and gin turns people invisible. Don't want to be chasing Harvey the Rabbit around.
Of course we did zombies, because fad, and gotta have some fun.
[Guardian] Finland says it is close to concluding a defence cooperation agreement with the US, the latest in a series of steps the formally neutral Nordic country has taken to bolster its security in the face of heightened Russian military activity.
The country's defence minister, Jussi Niinistö, said he hoped the deal ‐ incorporating joint military training, information sharing and research ‐ would be signed before the US presidential election in November.
"It's one of the reasons to have it done this autumn. But I'm certain we will continue to work together with either one of main candidates winning," Niinisto told Reuters news agency. There was no immediate response from the Pentagon on a potential agreement.
The deal would provide a framework for increased cooperation between the armed forces of the two nations but would not involve any binding commitment for either country to come to the defence of the other. Finland signed a similar agreement with the UK in July.

...This may not be the smartest thing in the world - the Soviets Russians are VERY touchy about Finland and might start poking back just out of pure spite.

...considering it is with Mr. Read Line himself and I doubt Finland is in a position to out donate Putie to the Clinton Foundation.
Daily Mail article highlights:
Documents describing Hillary Clinton's role in the death of White House counsel Vince Foster have vanished, Daily Mail Online has learned after an extensive investigation
Foster is believed to have shot himself with a .38 caliber revolver at Fort Marcy Park along the Potomac River on July 20, 1993
Two former FBI agents involved in the investigation tell Daily Mail Online they issued reports linking Hillary's tirade to Foster's suicide
Days before his death, then First Lady ridiculed him mercilessly in front of his peers, say former FBI agents and detailed it in their report
'You have failed us,' Hillary told Foster, former FBI Jim Clemente told Daily Mail Online
Archived material related to the case, housed at National Archives in College Park, Md. were examined by the author to no avail
After filing a Freedom of Information request, it was determined that the agents' reported have gone missing
Leo DiCaprio abruptly backed out of hosting a $33,400-per-guest fund-raiser for Hillary Clinton at his LA home on Tuesday, saying the change in plans was because of the production schedule for a documentary he's producing -- but not everybody is convinced of the story.
The move came just days after the Hollywood Reporter said the star and his eponymous foundation could be linked to a scandal involving a Malaysian sovereign wealth fund, at the same time Hillary and Bill Clinton's own charitable fund is under scrutiny.
Guests attending the Clinton event in LA were notified via e-mail over the weekend that "the production schedule for [DiCaprio's] climate change film 'Before the Flood' has altered . . . which will prevent him from returning to Los Angeles . . . As a result, Leo personally asked his friends Justin Timberlake and wife Jessica Biel to host Tuesday's lunch with Hillary at their home in the Hollywood Hills."
But some attendees wondered if the move had more to do with the THR report, which said the US Department of Justice filed an asset-seizure complaint in federal court pertaining to a Malaysian fund that backed Red Granite Pictures -- a production company behind the DiCaprio film "The Wolf of Wall Street.

You'll notice that under-taxed title-rentiers support the democrats.
Trump would be wise to look at properly taxing Hollywood in a capitalist manner.
[Fox] EXCLUSIVE: An investigation by the State Department's top attorney has found that the official who ordered the censorship of a 2013 press briefing -- deleting an exchange between a department spokeswoman and a Fox News reporter -- specifically mentioned that exchange when ordering the doctoring of the video.
That fact, buried in a new report prepared by the department’s Office of the Legal Adviser, was ignored in the report's own conclusions about why the incident occurred, and conflicted with public statements about the report made by State Department spokesman John Kirby.
In presenting the findings to reporters on Thursday, Kirby weathered 33 minutes of intense questioning about the report's inconclusive results. Department investigators now say they do not know if a technical glitch or willful misconduct caused the deletion of the critical eight-minute exchange on Dec. 2, 2013 between then-spokeswoman Jen Psaki and Fox News chief Washington correspondent James Rosen.
