#1 White people in South Africa deserve to be hacked and killed like Jews.
I wonder if American Jews wonder what he means by this?
Nope!
Too busy voting for the party that proposes to import hundreds of thousands Jew-hating rapefugees while seriously considering calling Israel an "occupation" in the party platform.
They'll be sure to wring their hands and ask "who could have imagined?..." after the next attack, though.

Speaking as an American Jew, one of a number here at Rantburg -- not to mention the larger number of American Jewish spouses, friends and relations of Rantburgers, I find these blanket condemnations of American Jews to be extremely tiresome.
Speaking personally, I had no idea the ANC said things like that, but it really isn't surprising. Jew-hatred is common currency among communists of all stripes, another mark if the shallowness of their thinking. Nor does that make them any more evil than they already were. And, as to the ANC Jews are merely more of the white people they hate and want to kll off, I really don't see what difference it makes that they said this thing.

I think we are about to have the most serious constitutional crisis since the Abdication of King Edward VIII. I suppose we had better try to enjoy it.
If ‐ as I think we will ‐ we vote to leave the EU on June 23, a democratically elected Parliament, which wants to stay, will confront a force as great as itself ‐ a national vote, equally democratic, which wants to quit. Are we about to find out what actually happens when an irresistible force meets an immovable object?
I am genuinely unsure how this will work out. I hope it will only destroy our two dead political parties, stiffened corpses that have long propped each other up with the aid of BBC endorsement and ill-gotten money.
I was wrong to think that the EU referendum would be so hopelessly rigged that the campaign for independence was doomed to lose. I overestimated the Prime Minister ‐ a difficult thing for me to do since my opinion of him was so low. I did not think he could possibly have promised this vote with so little thought, preparation or skill.
I underestimated the BBC, which has, perhaps thanks to years of justified and correct criticism from people such as me, taken its duty of impartiality seriously.
Everything I hear now suggests that the votes for Leave are piling up, while the Remain cause is faltering and floundering. The betrayed supporters of both major parties now feel free to take revenge on their smug and arrogant leaders.
...If Zambia can be independent, why cannot we? If membership is so good for us, why has it been accompanied by savage industrial and commercial decline? If the Brussels system of sclerotic, centralised bureaucracy is so good, why doesn’t anyone else in the world adopt it?

While they're at I, would it be too much to ask our British cousins to learn to drive on the other side of the road and please, Dear God, get them to teach Lucas about how to build electrical appliances hat can actually keep beer cold?
(actually, looking forward to the vote and hope the Brexit forces win)
Omar Mateen called the cops to pledge his fealty to ISIS as he was carrying out his mass murder in Orlando early Sunday. Twelve hours later, the president of the United States declared that "we have no definitive assessment on the motivation" of Omar Mateen but that "we know he was a person filled with hate."
So I guess the president thinks Mateen didn't mean it?
Here again, and horribly, we have an unmistakable indication that Obama finds it astonishingly easy to divorce himself from a reality he doesn't like -- the reality of the Islamist terror war against the United States and how it is moving to our shores in the form of lone-wolf attacks.
He called it "terror," which it is. But using the word "terror" without a limiting and defining adjective is like a doctor calling a disease "cancer" without making note of the affected area of the body -- because if he doesn't know where the cancer is and what form it takes, he cannot attack it effectively and seek to extirpate it.
So determined is the president to avoid the subject of Islamist, ISIS-inspired or ISIS-directed terrorism that he concluded his remarks with an astonishing insistence that "we need the strength and courage to change" our attitudes toward the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community.
That's just disgusting. There's no other word for it. How about spineless and/or ignorant? Or maybe naĂŻve? Cowardly? I'm sure Zenobia could come up with a few words without even trying. :-)
America's national attitude toward LGBT people didn't shoot up the Pulse nightclub. This country's national attitude has undergone a sea change in the past 20 years, by the way, in case the president hasn't noticed.
An Islamist terrorist waging war against the United States killed and injured 103 people on our soil. We Americans do not bear collective responsibility for this attack. Quite the opposite.
The attack on the Pulse nightclub was an attack on us all, no less than the World Trade Center attack.
To suggest we must look inward to explain this is not only unseemly but practically an act of conscious misdirection on the president's part to direct out attention away from Omar Mateen's phone call.
True to form, the president spoke more words about the scourge of guns than about the threat of terror. In doing so, he actually retards rather than advances the cause of gun control he so passionately advocates.
A president totally and credibly committed to the destruction of ISIS and other terror groups seeking to bring the war to us might earn the political and moral capital to seek more extensive limits on gun ownership.
A president who cannot name the enemy even as he anthropomorphizes the weapon the enemy uses is a president unable to bring anyone to his side who's not already there.
To fight back against the evils of San Bernardino and Orlando, we do need change -- and fortunately for us, it's constitutionally mandated change. It's the change required by the 22nd Amendment -- the change that will compel Barack Obama to leave the White House on Jan. 20, 2017, after completing his second term with America less safe than it was when he took office.

This part of "we" isn't; the Demoncrats and the Leftists (but I repeat myself) part is - and that includes in particular you, Bambi, and your minions and hangers-on.
F*ck you and the camel you rode in on.
I'm stocking up on more ammunition.

I think if any Americans (beyond the father and the those running the guys mosque) share blame it would be the FBI who interviewed him 3 times and somehow didn't notice the co-worker who quit because of complaints the guy was unhinged, or the ex-wife who he battered and had to be rescued by her parents and didn't get a 'do not sell firearms to those bloke without talking to FBI' put into his files.

If he wants to claim that "we" are responsible and he is "our" leader then he needs to be held responsible for where he has led us. With a jail term.
[Ynet] Analysis: With the US Treasury just having brought a 'blacklist' to Beirut and Hezbollah constituting 40% of the Lebanese economy, the system is going under the table.
It's the event that has gotten under Lebanese merchants' skin: Mamdouh L. is a businessman whose dealings include a chain of electronics stores. Thanks to his seniority and reputation, he was able to arrange for himself a monopoly on providing equipment and spare parts for dozens of television channels operating in Beirut. It's he who purchases equipment, sends technicians, is responsible for the proper operating of broadcasts, and manages the training center. At the end of the month, he stuffs his bank accounts with impressive sums. He lives like a king in an expansive villa, keeps a fleet of cars and a retinue of servants, and his children learn in the US's most expensive universities.
But a fortnight ago, an economic-political storm landed on Mamdouh. Assistant Secretary for the Department of the Treasury of the United States Daniel Glaser, responsible for intelligence, went to Beirut with a "blacklist" of senior Hezbollah officials and insisted that the governor of the Central Bank close the accounts of 100 commanders in Hezbollah's military wing, political wing, ministers identified with the organization, and members of parliament.

But if he continues to work with Nasrallah's broadcasting studios, his electronics store will go out of business, and he himself will be in the crosshairs. On the other hand, if he tries to get away, he'll get into trouble with the Revolutionary Guards and with Hezbollah's military wing. He might find a bomb under his Mercedes one morning.
Something something frog and scorpion something.

Yea, well, with so many Muslims in USA - does it matter?

After last night’s murder of fifty people at a gay club in Orlando, politicians are rushing out their statements, most smart enough to avoid knee-jerk reactions blaming anyone but the shooter, and perhaps the group inspiring him, ISIS/ISIL/Daesh. Not all were so thoughtful.
I’m going to spare you my pledges of emotional solidarity with our gay brethren, or pious warnings not to blame Muslims in general for the hateful actions of a few. I’m going to assume you’re all adults and understand that ideologies and religions associated with mass murder -- Communism, Nazism, and recently the fundamentalist Islamist groups -- are all thought-viruses which prey on the susceptible. This is an assumption I may regret, since the topic is a minefield unless you stick to the mainstream channels of banal sentiment.

I'm still waiting for someone to provide a rational, logical, objective distinction between fundamentalist Islamist and Islamic in the same way that I've never heard about moderate Nazis or moderate Communists.
This is Islam period, full-stop. Are there some putative followers of Islam, aka Muslims, who are not themselves murderers? Sure, just as there were followers of Hitler, aka Nazis that weren't murderers. But the ideology is the same.

While you're at it, explain the differences between Bernie and that daughter of Hugo Chavez's in her New York Penthouse with her four billion dollars while her country starves.
Political principles? Bernie's got them, assinine, atrocious ones sure but he's got them. I figure Ms. Chavez wouldn't know a principle if it bit her on the butt.
but one thing I suggest you consider. Maybe Vanguard Party Capitalism and Vanguard Party Communism aren't disjoint socioeconomic/political systems. Maybe they're the same system.
Nice to see Facebook declare which side they're on. I think we knew.
I confess, a decade back when Ms. Geller started her website, that I thought she was rabid. Now I see that she was just a fair bit ahead of her time.

Yuuup - the fact that, as per CBC News Radio, Omar Mateen has admitted to being a dedic Islamist and doing the incident in support of Islamic rights + ISIS has absolutely positively categorically undeniably nothing to do wid anything.

Funny I found out about her on Israeli Media right on time with things 12 years ago or somewhere abouts.
Sounds loony or is played to be looney, yet is the world at large, even if she "begged" for trouble.

If I were the director of intelligence for a repressive, dictatorial regime I would mandate Facebook accounts be established at birth, with biometric photo and voice updates every five years. The Facebook data base would be the first stop for medical and gov't benefits, taxes, education, employment, financial assistance, foreign and domestic travel, visa and foreign visitor entry.
Do to the large volume of information collected, a massive 'Data Center' would be constructed. A remote, climate and employee friendly site would be ideal. Citizen, non-citizen, and duel-citizen accounts would facilitate the ease of sorting and retrieval.
At one's death and upon final IRS transfer approval, the accounts would automatically be migrated for archival to 'ancestry.com' via an established GSA contract.

One might hope that the AQIS page is still up in order to gather intel.

That could be but as it's strictly a media page I doubt there's much there. This is strictly for front end consumption. I've managed to get some videos taken down at youtube to cut the feeds. FB trolled me last night letting me know they took down a sister site I reported last week that simply reposted AQIS media, but left the AQIS site up. Page is here

A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
