[Daily Caller] A 24-year-old racial activist has been charged with creating a false public alarm after reportedly making death threats to black students and faculty at her alma mater Kean University in New Jersey.
Kayla-Simone McKelvey, a self-described race activist, reportedly used a university computer to make death threats to the black students and faculty at Kean University from a fake Twitter account.
Authorities say McKelvey was on campus for a rally against racial intolerance, which she briefly left in order to post the threats online. She then returned to the rally to spread "awareness" of the threats being made against black students.
According to her Linkedin profile, McKelvey was the president of the Pan African Student Union and the 2014 Homecoming Queen during her time as a student at Kean University.

I wouldn't support death, but they should serve jail time for intentionally making a death threat and spreading fear. They should probably get the minimum sentence but should not be allowed to skate with time served or other nonsense. Make the trial public so that future fakers get the idea.
[DRUDGEREPORT] Guy goes hunting for bear in Alaska. He's tip-toeing through the woods when he sees the biggest bear he's ever seen in his life. He draws a bead, lets out his breath, squeezes the trigger.
And misses.
Suddenly the bear's standing right in front of him, its claws raised! "You tried to shoot me!" sez the bear.
"Ummm... You're a talking bear?"
"And you're a dead guy... unless you drop trou and let me have my way with your tiny butt!"
The guy's got a choice: Death, or the proverbial fate worse than death. He decides to go with "worse than," and the bear leaves him limping and dripping and sore twenty minutes later.
The guy drags it back to his tent, where he applies soothing balm and liberal quantities of Preparation H. "Rat bastard bear!" he snarls. "No bear does that to me and gets away with it!"
Next morning he's lying in wait when the bear comes down to the water hole. He draws his bead, lets out his breath, squeezes the trigger... And misses.
"Hrarrr!" the bear snarls, brandishing nine inch claws. "You tried to kill me! I'm gonna disembowel youse with a single slash! Unless..."
The guy drops his drawers, turns around, and endures another even more painful, even more humiliating session.
The guy crawls back to his tent, whimpering, and sits in a tub of snow, which sizzles as his butt hits it.
Next morning he's lying in wait, not twenty yards from the water hole. He can't miss! The bear shows up, sniffs the air, and leans over to drink. The guy draws his bead, lets out his breath, squeezes the trigger...
And misses.
It's like a re-run of a nightmare! The bear rears up in front of him! His claws look like they've grown an inch or two overnight! He gives a throaty roar! And he sez: "You ain't here for the huntin', are you, sweetie?"

'Bears' are an often under-represented social/sexual strata of the emergent many layered LGBT consensual beta-male identity. I suppose there are 'she-bears' as well, the concept of which also may require a Drano eyewash/brainwipe.
Gay, nude (except chaps), shrieking, "Wheee...
Hey Mom, they keep looking at me!
Oh, please make them stop it!"
"Of course I will, poppet!

A French court Monday ruled in favor of the Libyan side which claims ownership of late Gaddafi’s luxurious plane also claimed by a Kuwaiti group to which the former Libyan regime owes millions of euros.
The Airbus A340 plane was seized by the Kuwaiti al-Kharafi conglomerate following a ruling of a Cairo court in 2013.
An A340? Daffy didn't dream small, did he...
The Gaddafi regime had signed a contact with the Kuwaiti group in 2006 to build a beach resort on Libya’s Mediterranean coast, which it was to run for 90 years but the Libyan regime suspended the contract unilaterally.
And in 2013, a Cairo court ruled in favor of the Kuwaiti group which was to receive €935 million in compensation for the breach of the contract. The Kuwaiti group then seized the plane which was grounded in southern France for maintenance. The Libyan side’s lawyer, Carole Sportes, expressed satisfaction at the French court ruling that ends the Kuwaiti seizure of the plane.

[BLOOMBERG] Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner has ramped up government spending even as she prepares to hand over power in 10 days, helping to widen a budget deficit for 2015 already expected to reach the highest in 33 years.
At the start of the week, the government said it would spend an extra 133 billion pesos this year on salaries and energy subsidies. A day later, and Fernandez's administration ordered the Treasury to make up a shortfall of 98 billion pesos ($10.1 billion) with the state-run pension system following a ruling by the supreme court. The government must also find 27 billion pesos to cover costs at the tax agency.
The extra spending makes it all the more urgent for incoming President Mauricio Macri to tackle the fiscal gap that is forecast to reach 7.2 percent of gross domestic product. Macri now faces the shortest of honeymoons after defeating Fernandez's candidate in a runoff vote last month, having pledged to cut subsidies, remove currency controls and slow inflation.
"Clearly the fiscal scenario for next year is going to be very challenging," said Maximiliano Castillo, director of Buenos Aires-based consultancy ACM. "The roots of rising inflation, currency controls, import and export restrictions come from a completely unsustainable fiscal policy."
To begin closing the fiscal gap, Macri's designated Energy Minister Juan Jose Aranguren said the new government will reduce subsidies on electricity bills in the metropolitan area of Buenos Aires, where the government spends about $800 million a month footing the bill for clients of electricity suppliers Edenor and Edesur.

[CNN] An unsettling mystery has washed up on Japan's shores.
Over the past two months, at least 12 wooden boats have been found in the Sea of Japan on or near the coast, carrying a chilling cargo -- the decaying bodies of 22 people, police and Japan's coasties said.
All the bodies were "partially skeletonized" -- two were found without heads -- and one boat contained six skulls, the coasties said. The first boat was found in October, then a series of boats were found in November.

The CEO of UnitedHealthCare on Tuesday said he regretted the decision to enter the ObamaCare marketplace last year, which the company says has resulted in millions of dollars in losses.
"It was for us a bad decision," UnitedHealth CEO Stephen Hemsley said at an investor's meeting in New York, according to Bloomberg Business.
Too bad nobody warned them, huh...
UnitedHealth, the country's largest insurer, announced last month that it would no longer advertise its ObamaCare plans over the next year and may pull out completely in 2016 ‐ a move that sent shockwaves across the healthcare sector. It was only a shock to those that weren't paying attention
Hemsley's remarks double down on his earlier warning that the ObamaCare exchanges remain weaker than expected after two years and that it will take far longer for insurers to profit from the millions of new enrollees.
The company had already eyed ObamaCare's federal marketplace cautiously since it launched in 2013. UnitedHealth only began selling plans on the exchanges last year. Now, UnitedHealth officials have said that move will result in a half-billion dollars in losses over two years.
Hemsley said it was smart to sit out of the exchanges for the first year, but that the company should have held out another year. Should have held out forever
"In retrospect, we should have stayed out longer," he said, adding that he believes the marketplace will take more than "a season or two" to develop. Or forever.
"We did not believe it would form this slowly, be this porous, or become this severe," he said. Then you weren't paying attention and don't deserve to be the CEO. It is designed to fail and take you and your ilk with it.

It's OK. The Govt (HHS) has already agreed to make good the losses.

So the Gov't covers the losses and United Health Care becomes a ward of the Federal Gov't. What am I missing? Wasn't that the way it was supposed to work ?

This is a problem for UHC because HHS is welshing on the 3R's which were supposed to protect carriers from losses as the sick and only the sick signed up for "free" healthcare.
HHS paid carriers in full the first couple years, but are now paying 17 cents on the dollar.
Considering UHC is a big player the Corp Welfare game via Medicare and Medicaid this is either a pathetic miscalculation on their part, or simple rice bowl rattling for more govt succor.

[ARABNEWS] India's government has rejected claims by a group of lawyers that the Taj Mahal monument was a Hindu temple.
While replying to a query about the evidence claiming that the Taj Mahal built in Agra by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan was originally a temple, Union Culture Minister Mahesh Sharma told the Parliament that the government has not found any evidence in this regard.
Sharma's reply came few days after a lawsuit, claiming the Taj Mahal was originally a Shiva temple, was filed by a group of lawyers from Agra.
They also demanded that its ownership be transferred to Hindus and Muslims be restricted from offering prayers at the location.
The Archaeological Survey of India had earlier dismissed the claims that the 17th century Mughal monument is a Shiva temple.

Something odd in this story. Says it is not a Hindu temple but then says built by Mughal Emporer Shah Jahan. I thought the Mughals were Muslims? It also says Muslims be restricted from offering prayers at the location.
Sounds like they are saying it was determined to not be a Muslim temple.
Anyway, saying it is not a temple won't get the Muslims to spare it if they get the chance.
In 2000, India's Supreme Court dismissed P. N. Oak's petition[64] to declare that a Hindu king built the Taj Mahal.[61][65] In 2005 a similar petition was dismissed by the Allahabad High Court. This case was brought by Amar Nath Mishra, a social worker and preacher who says that the Taj Mahal was built by the Hindu King Parmar Dev in 1196.[66]
The Moghuls are what the Mongols became after they converted to Islam and began conquering northern India. Muslims are currently allowed to pray at the on-site mosque between twelve and two p.m. on Fridays. If the site was originally a temple to Shiva, that ended when the local maharajah accepted a city palace in exchange for the land almost four centuries ago.

[Breitbart] The CEO and lead scientist of the world's largest cloning factory says that they now have technology capable of replicating human beings.
"The technology is already there," said Xu Xiaochun, the 44-year-old Chairman of the Boyalife group, which is building the $31 million cloning factory. "If this is allowed, I don't think there are other companies better than Boyalife that make better technology."
The company intends to begin operations in the first half of 2016 in Tianjin, a city some 100 miles southeast of Beijing.
Though the principal goal of the 150,000-square-foot facility will be cloning cattle, company executives aren't closing the door to other species, including humans.
"Unfortunately, currently, the only way to have a child is to have it be half its mum, half its dad," said Xu.
