[Khaama (Afghanistan)] An Afghan refugee is at death's door after he set himself on fire due to child pornography convictions which led to cancellation of his permanent visa.
The man identified as Ali Jaffari was held at a West Australian immigration detention centre when he set himself on fire, Australia's Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) reported.
He is currently undergoing treatment at Fiona Stanley Hospital in Perth with the officials saying Jaffari has suffered burns to 90 per cent of his body.
Refugee Action Coalition front man Ian Rintoul told AAP the visa of Jaffari was cancelled in May last year and he has previously attempted to end his own life.
Rintoul further added that Jaffari had been held at the detention centre, 90km east of Perth, for about eight months.
Jaffari was charged with viewing child pornography on his laptop using free wi-fi for up to three hours a day at a Melbourne public library.
The court had also sentenced him to 300 hours of community service besides his visa was cancelled and placed on the sex offenders register for 15 years over an incident involving a teenage boy in Geelong in November 2012.

He came on a boats after flying in to Indonesia first with his passport and paying thousands of dollars to people smugglers to secure passage. He had money and ID.
He was in detention so long because they have to check he is who he says he is, and half of them throw away their ID and their passports, and make up a name. Don't know if this guy did that or not.
None of these people should be given diddly shit. They should be given a deportation flight back to Jakarta. Jakarta wants to let them fly in, Jakarta can keep them. He is a migrant not a refugee.
The refugees Australia should be taking are the 15,000 West Papuans running away from an Indonesian genocide, sitting over the border in PNG which the Indonesian military regularly crosses, kidnapping independence activists who have fled. Photographing the others and making dossiers. Those people need to come to Australia as the only safe haven. They are also Christians fleeing a Muslim genocide which is increasingly religious in nature with churches burned and children stolen and forced into madrassas.

However. There is a problem here. The Australian public can no longer believe any accusation of wrongdoing based on what people have on their computers. Our government passed a law in November last year giving bureaucrats, cops and spies the right to hack all computers and plant, alter and delete information.
so nobody can believe what they say anymore. This right was passed in a bill that also gives them the right to break state, territory and commonwealth laws and that forces courts to accept illegally obtained evidence. NSA Bill No.1 did the damage.

Zakia Razai, head of the Women Affairs Directorate of this province is quoted by VOA news as saying that it has turned into a tradition in this province that a girl would escape home in order to marry according to her choice.
She says it is rare to find a couple that has married as normal.
Razai said that Daikundi had record incidents of girls escaping from their homes in Afghanistan last year, adding that these incidents have increased violence against women, corruption and even the imprisonment of the escaped girls.
The Women Affairs Directorate of Daikundi has recorded 40 incidents of 'girl escaping home' in the first five months of the current year which shows an increase by %15 in comparison to the incidents recorded last year.
She says that these marriages usually do not last long and lead to divorce or violence against the girls.
She expressed concern ...meaning the brow was mildly wrinkled, the eyebrows drawn slightly together, and a thoughtful expression assumed, not that anything was actually done or indeed that any thought was actually expended... over the matter and said that these incidents are rapidly increasing.
High cost of marriage, Mahr 'dowry' of up to 1,000,000 AFG against against the principals of and force marriage are said to be the main causes behind the incidents.

[DAWN] A dead body of an unidentified woman was found in pieces from two separate areas of Bloody Karachi ...formerly the capital of Pakistain, now merely its most important port and financial center. It is among the largest cities in the world, with a population of 18 million, most of whom hate each other and many of whom are armed and dangerous... 's Malir Town Wednesday.
The body is apparently of a young woman, who was murdered brutally and then cut into pieces before being dumped and hidden, police sources told Dawn.
The body pieces stuffed in shopping bags were recovered from the main National Highway and railway track in Malir area of the city.
The body was shifted to Jinnah Post-Graduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for his appointment with Doctor Quincy to determine the actual cause of the death.
Malir City Station House Officer (SHO) Mohammed Ishaq said DNA samples were collected to identify the woman while investigations are under way to determine the motive of the murderer and the cause of crime.
